How To Backup Your PalWorld Saves on XBox Game Pass for PC!

hello today I'm going to show you how to back up your power world saves on the Xbox pass version of the game this will not apply to the steam version it will be a little different and additionally um any new version of the game this is just for version one might be different but it should remain the same to start off just right click hit new on the desktop and create a folder and name is something simple that you'll remember like power world backup and open up this folder and go inside here and right click and hit new again and this time hit text document and name this something like file location and this is just so you don't have to return to the video you can just save the file location and go from there now go to the description of this video and there should be this long text with a bunch of slashes and stuff in it now you're going to want to copy paste it in here it should look like this and you're almost done with this part but you need your username you already know your username then just type in your username here but if you don't know your username then you're going to want to go to down here where it says type here to search if you don't have this just click Start and then type in CMD and typing L should open up command prompt just click open and ask it who am I with no spaces and no question mark and it should tell you your computer's name and then your username my username is just user nice and simple so I'll type that in there there and then close out of this prompt and I'm done with that I'm going to save this file so that way it will remain with my username in there and I'm going to open up a new file document and how to open up that is you just write this folder down here you hit file explore you should have a second one open up you're going to want to copy this segment right here just by selecting it right clicking it hit copy and click back into this and then up here where it says this PC or it might say something else just click this whole bar and the whole thing will be selected right click hit paste and then hit enter and right here is your save file now um you're going to want to close out a file location at this point cuz you don't need it you're just going to right click the file hit copy and hit paste if you have multiple that means that you probably have multiple saves but this T1 seems to just be empty um so I I have no reason to copy it but if you you're worried that you might not get it all you can copy paste that one too and this way if for whatever reason this save is corrupted or deleted somehow and you still want to use it you can just go in here and you can drag and drop these back in and preferably cuz now you see they're not there anymore you're just going to right click and copy and paste it back now um this only will back up your save up until the point that you do it so if you go in the game and have a couple more hours of progress you're going to want to go and do this again that's why I have the the file location right here um and you're going to want to delete your old one so delete the old one and then copy and paste these new pieces you can just select to select them all like drag and select over them then you go back into this one right click paste and there you go and this way you can refresh your save so that you don't have to go back on hours and hours of progress awesome uh if you have any questions just let me know in the comments and I'll see what I can do to answer them try and be as descriptive as you can on what's confusing you and then you can just click close out these folders also and get into your game all right have a good time
