How To Avoid Making a HORRIBLE MISTAKE When Buying a New Bronco

[Music] [Applause] [Music] what is going on guys welcome to the channel today we're going to talk about one of the biggest mistakes that I believe you can make when buying a new Bronco if you stick around towards the end of the video I'm going to show you how to avoid that mistake so as you can see I am actually in a new Bronco yes everything I'm talking about today is going to be from the perspective of a current Bronco owner and this is one of about 40 cars that I've owned it'll last like 10 years I've bought and sold a ton of cars huge car guy love them all shapes and sizes bring them on I'm hoping to hold on to this one for a while but back to the reason that you clicked on the video biggest mistake that you can make right now when purchasing a new Bronco I think is actually buying at the wrong time I believe it's just a bad time to buy a Bronco and I'm going to give you a couple reasons why I believe that it's a terrible time to buy a Bronco one reason why I think it's a bad call to buy a Bronco right now is that the Border banks are shut down to new customers and what that has done is it's actually uh it's pushed demand up so in a market where we've seen pretty much every other car come down in value in the last few months the Broncos still holding strong which is shocking um I've been tempted to sell this Bronco a couple of times but I'm not going to do it I'm not going to let it go I'm gonna hang on to this one so yeah border banks are crazy that's one thing another thing to look at is why it's just a terrible time is really the economy and then what future supply and demand might look like for the Bronco you can find Broncos for sale right now left and right but as you know you're probably going to pay a 10 or 20 000 markup and you could buy that but hypothetically let's just fast forward a year worst case scenario here and this is hypothetical but you lost your job or your spouse lost their job or your rent went up or whatever and you're like man I'm gonna go ahead and sell the Bronco that I bought I don't need it it's a luxury I can get something cheaper whatever well if you paid cash chances are that you're gonna lose at least what you paid over MSRP if not more so you're gonna be out 10 to 15 000 and if you finance the Bronco you might kind of be screwed so I think that's just something to avoid with all that in mind I think demand for the Bronco will come down um in the future I think things are gonna settle down I think order banks are gonna be caught up with I don't ever think that Broncos will sit on a lot at least not in the next few years but I do think that things are going to just cool down a little bit um and in my opinion that would be the time that would be the time to buy but if you're like me and you're impatient and you want your Bronco and you heard me rant for the last several minutes about why you shouldn't buy a Bronco and you're like you know what I'm in a financial place where I could buy the Bronco I'm going to take the risk I don't even believe a word this guy's saying well take it from me here are a couple steps after buying all these vehicles and making a ton of mistakes here's what I would do today I'm going to link a page that uh guys from all over the US have put just decent dealerships in their areas so there's dealerships from basically any city in the U.S it's or close close to any city in the U.S to where you can go there find a dealer that is recommended that uh hasn't done anything sleazy really um as far as Bronco sales so find that dealership in the link below give them a call ask for the sales bin for saleswoman that has sold the most amount of Broncos and now they may transfer you to that person I kind of like to look for the expert in the field they might know a little something about ordering they might they might actually be following ordering closer than your average sales so I would get a hold of that person um if anything just build a relationship get their contact info so you have someone to to go to when the order of banks open but I would let them know hey I'm in the market for a new Bronco I will not pay over MSRP and I understand that the order banks are closed if you come across a Bronco that is available for MSRP or the order banks open will you please save my contact info and give me a call back simple as that save their info chances are they'll give you a call back if not you have their info you've already done the research um and you know that they're a decent they're a decent prospects to place your order with when the time comes now in the meantime as you're waiting for the call search the internet I'll post links below to CarGurus CarMax Craigslist you can check Facebook Marketplace deals can be had and if you're just not wanting to wait for it with a dealership that is an option look online but just hold out until you find a good deal and negotiate the market is coming down so you should be able to make an offer on something and not pay 10K over MSRP for a used vehicle that is likely to depreciate so you could do that another thing I would do is go to the Ford website that I posted below and you also do your homework and stay up to date on when the order banks are opening there's also a link to again Bronco 6G there's information about order Banks there as soon as those order banks open get on the phone call the dealership that you already made the relationship with talk to that salesman place your order as soon as they open get in line early and fast now if you hear nothing else in this video this is the most important thing right here yeah they signed purchase order make sure that you have a document that has the price on it that you agree to pay that your signature is on it it's dated and the sales person signature is on it there have been stories of people that place an order for a Bronco they waited a year the dealership said hey your Broncos in they show up to Baya thinking they're going to pay MSRP and the dealer says oh no we marked it up fifteen thousand dollars which is absolutely insane so they're kind of in a hard spot especially with the stupid demand of the Bronco they could walk away and then the dealership will just sell it to someone else for that stupid markup or they could pay the markup themselves um if you didn't have a signed purchase order it's super Shady for dealerships to do that and there have been tons of lawsuits about this um but it just makes it easier if you have signed docs so get the documents get them signed make sure the price is on there that way no surprises when your Bronco comes in the absolute best bet is going to be place the order with Ford get it for MSRP it's brand new you built a hat you'd want it that's the whole thing um but I do understand the struggle guys when I bought this one I only waited like six months because I specked it with like no tow hitch it's a soft top it's a four cylinder we did a lux package and you know got some of the other things that we wanted but I just took all the options that had a long wait and threw them out and we just got our Bronco quickly um and it's worked out great we really liked this vehicle but I do understand that if you're gonna wait six months if you're gonna wait 12 months it's kind of like hard to see all this content and see that people have had their vehicles for a year or more and you have to wait for a Bronco you can just go place an order and get one but the patients here is going to be worth it do not spend ten thousand fifteen thousand dollars over MSRP with the state of where we're at today I just it's not wise and I promise you that if you're patient here the patients will pay off there's a quote and then I try to remind myself about often because I'm a very impatient person but it is one moment of patience may ward off great Disaster One Moment of impatience May ruin a whole life but that's what I have for you guys today
