aligning objects to surfaces can be kind of time consuming if you do it manually in blender luckily there's a snapping tool that can do it quickly for you so if you go up into your snapping options and toggle snapping on then click the drop down and select face project and also align rotation to Target what this is going to do is this is going to take your object and it's actually going to project it onto a face and adjust the object rotation to match up with the face that it's over note that the location of the object is set based on your object origin so if you have an object origin in the middle of an object it'll place this in the middle but if you take that origin and you place it on the bottom of your object then this should get aligned to your face really easily there are a ton of practical applications for using this and you can also use this to align multiple objects at once inside a blender I'll link to more tutorials about the snapping tools in the comments below this video
