we will guide you through how you can add storage to your PS4 if you find this guide useful then please consider subscribing and once you've done that then please consider leaving a like and let's jump into this in this video I'll show you how to add extra storage to your PS4 I for this video I'll be using a USB flash drive but the procedure will be the same if you use external drive I recommend you add at least one terabyte of external hdb SSD depending on what you need this will help you immensely because when Sony made to the PlayStation they didn't take into account that the game files will get so big they made it into the into 2013 and 2016 and then games were around 20 Gigabytes now there are more than 100. so take your USB flash drive and go over to your PlayStation and plug it into the USB port let's do it now and I have successfully connected it to my PlayStation now I'll be back from a better angle to show you how to set it up and now we are back we are back inside of the main menu of our PlayStation we swipe up using the left analog on our controller and we locate the second to last setting that has the briefcase icon we open that up then we scroll down until we get to devices then we open up devices and here we have a plethora of different types of devices we scroll down until we get to the USB storage devices we select that and here is the USB that I just plugged in it's 16 gigabytes so I select it and this type pops this tab will open up here you need to select the format as extended storage then you press that and that will be it you have successfully added your external storage to your PlayStation 4. you can as I said I recommend you use external hard disks that are not that expensive they can be found under 100 on sites such as Amazon and eBay that is it for this video thank you for watching see you in the next one
