How to add image to email in Power Automate "Send an email (V2)"

hello and welcome to my channel korigo Maven so in this tutorial we will see how we can embed and image correctly using power automate and SharePoint in an Outlook email body let's start so this is my SharePoint site I am having a test list and I want whenever I insert a new item over here and email notification should generate and I should receive any mail in my Outlook with my company's logo in it so let's start create a flow send a customized email by the new shop on list item is added create flow this is a flow you can rename it whenever you need I'm just going to edit it so basically this is a trigger when a new item is created this flow will start I don't want this one for this video so I'm deleting it I don't want to send email I'm deleting it instead I want send email V2 connector action yeah I want to send an email to myself subject I can put anything like okay so here that's why I chose this one this action send an email V2 because it accepts HTML code in it so if I click on this icon it oh it takes me to an HTML code editor sort of so here and outside of this P tag image tag so image Tech has an SRC in this communication site I'm having this logo uploaded inside assets if I go in here I can see logo PNG I can just copy this URL from here uh copy link okay I go here um give it to this image and save it now let's add a new item to our test list and let's check item seven save so I see this email has come to me but the image is not embedding correctly so now we will see how can we do that in our correct way so it would require just two steps first add an action named get file content this is a SharePoint action here you need to give your site name I am giving my communication site name and a file identifier I am giving the location of my logo dot PNG that's it the second step is to convert this file content this image into a base 64 item so for that I am taking one compose action here I am choosing Dynamic content in the expression this line says base64 function and output of get file content body I'm clicking on OK next expanding my HTML code for my email body I am creating a file direct URL from here and adding this one instead now I'm going to my list and adding one new item item 10. save let's wait for the email to come to my Outlook so you see any ml has come and voila this logo has been attached perfectly in this email body so thank you for watching stay tuned to watch more solutions like this thank you bye
