How To Add Countdown / Timer / Progress Bar In Your Video Using Filmora

in this video i will show you how to add timer or countdown in filmora now drag any clip to the timeline so this is the video that i will be using and this is a video of a rocket launch so i want to add a countdown from 8 seconds to 0 seconds click on the effects tab and scroll down and you'll see a timer option click on it here you can see all the different types of timers it has countdowns timers loading bars and everything i'm going to choose this one drag and drop it to the timeline above the clip for this i need 8 seconds so you can change the minute to 0 and change the number of seconds to eight you can also increase the speed of the timer i'm going to leave it in default and i'm going to change the position and want it in the bottom left so you can you can adjust the x and y axis to adjust the timer's location here i'm just fine tuning it to find the perfect place for the timer you can also change the color of the font and the background i'm going to leave it in default as white once done click ok and make sure you drag the clip to 8 seconds now i'll show you how to add a different style of countdown drag it to the timeline and start making the adjustments as we did previously once everything is run drag it to 8 seconds and click play as you can see the timer is working perfectly and i'm satisfied with this render to export the file click on export a window will open up now click on settings in settings change the resolution to your liking i'm going to leave it as default and change the frame rate to either 23.97 or 30 fps change the bit rate to 10 000 and change the bit rate of audio to 320 now click on export this will export the clip with the countdown for more tutorials like these make sure to click that subscribe button and i'll catch you guys in the next one
