How to Add a Freeze Frame to Video in Filmora 12

in this video I'll show you how to freeze frame a video in filmora 12. welcome to this video my name is David and I hope you're well wherever you are around the world now I'm going to begin by adding my footage on the timeline and there it is looks good just a person just walking let's say we want to freeze frame somewhere right about there now super easy with your playhead set on a section that you want to freeze frame you can either right click and click on ADD freeze frame or press on alt F I'll click on it it's going to add a section of about five seconds of freeze frame right inside here looks really good and you can see he's walking and then boom we've got a freeze frame now it really depends on what you want to do with this for example I can actually just zoom in slightly to get where this gray kind of ends and split here there we go and then we've got this other one right here zoom in to get that at the right position right there cut that so we've got this Freeze Frame and you can manipulate it using the AI tools available in filmora 12 the way you want for example you can decide to remove the background we can go to let's go to video AI tools and then go to something like AI portrait click on that and it takes out that particular background and you can actually replace it with maybe some stock footage or whatever fancy thing that you feel you might want to add for example you can go to effects go to something like border uh and we'll just drag and drop maybe just this bullet right there it looks good A little bit too much let's bring it down slightly just about there looks good you can also Zoom so that it doesn't show this particular line down here but if you play it looks like that looks really good you can throw in some text in the background and so on and so forth or even some other background but that is how you can freeze a frame over video in filmorotov super easy and super handy uh I hope this video is a value to you thanks for watching
