Freeze Frame CLONE Effect! | Wondershare Filmora 11 Tutorial

at the end of this video you're going to learn a freeze frame video effect using femora 11. keep watching [Music] hey everyone it's jj from wondershare for more here to empower your inner video creator a while back we showed you how to make a free stream effect using the darken blend mode in filmora9 in this video i'm going to show you how to create a freeze frame video effect but this time we're going to use the updated masking tools in filmora 11. [Music] first while filming make sure you have a steady shot without any camera shake you can use a tripod or a steady surface to keep your camera still second make sure that your subject doesn't cross the same spot twice or else it's gonna look like this alright so let's go ahead and spice up our video spicy if you haven't already downloaded filmora 11 you can click the link in the description or go to filmora.wondershare.com to upgrade your software open filmora 11 and import your clips to the media library then add your clips to the first video layer on the timeline before we start our edit let's color correct our footage so when we take the screenshots the corrected color is already applied next scrub through the clip to find your first action frame i want to use this frame right here let's head over to the camera icon under the preview screen and click the icon this will take a screenshot of the current frame the playhead is on the timeline make sure not to move the playhead after you've taken the screenshot you can find the screenshot in the media tab let's drag our screenshot onto the second video track and align it on the right side of the playhead then extend the screenshot so it lasts as long as our main clip now double-click on the screenshot this will open the video menu then go into the mask menu choose a mask shape and edit it so it only covers where your subject is in the screenshot if you need help seeing what you're masking hide the main video layer and edit your mask like this next increase the blur and soften the edges but don't do it too much because it may become visible on your subject now let's play it back and see what it looks like i think it looks good let's layer a couple more action frames first hide the first screenshot so it doesn't appear in our new screenshot then pick a new frame now repeat the same steps as before click on the camera icon drag the screenshot to the new playhead spot extend the clip double click to mask this frame now play it back to make sure it looks good i'm going to do this a couple more times until i have several frames going all right let's watch it back [Music] and that's how you do a freeze frame video effect and filmora 11. are you gonna give this video trick a try let us know in the comment section below and send us a link to your video is there any other video tricks that you want us to try and fill more 11 also let us know because maybe we'll give it a try and show you how to do it don't forget to like this video and subscribe to our channel i'll see you guys next time and keep creating [Music] you
