today we're going to create a mesmerizing Freeze Frame clone Trail effect in filmora 12 like this [Music] [Music] hello everyone welcome to solid tutorials today I'll be showing you how to create a mesmerizing Freeze Frame clone Trail effect in filmora 12. this technique is perfect for adding a dramatic and eye-catching element to your videos so for that I have a video in the media I drag and drop it onto the timeline this video I have is something like this the free download link of this video is in the description [Music] [Applause] first we will remove the background behind the person in the video and then we'll save it as a PNG image with us place the playhead at the point where you want to freeze frame the picture for this we can use any tools in filmora 12. the first method is to go to background removing tools click on the app portrait tool from here this is the easiest tool to remove the background of your video if this tool doesn't work for your video as you can see in this video of me this person's body is very far away so it may happen that our portrait tool will not work on your video [Music] I switched this tool back off below the iportrait tool you will also find the smart cutout tool this tool is available in filmora 12. you can also remove background on it both of these tools will save you time if they work on your video but if you want to remove the background of your video These two tools don't work so for today's trick I'm going to use another tool of my choice with the help of which you will be able to remove the background [Music] double-click on the video within the video tab go to the mask section and click on it click on draw mask tool option here with this tool we will remove the background at this point but before that I zoom the player display to my liking [Music] and then I select the object with the help of this tool with a left click of the mouse so it will become a mask [Music] do you want to stay the night cause I don't wanna be alone it's been waiting on my mind for too long too long cause I just really really and finally connect the two points of the draw mask together [Music] so doing this will remove your background when you remove the object's background now take a snapshot of it select the format of the snapshot as PNG and then click ok so that PNG picture is added to our media now remove this mask so for that I click on the none option inside the mask section and then click remove so our video will remove the old mask now I move the playhead forward a bit and keeping the playhead at this position I create another mask using draw mask this will remove the background of our object at that point in the playhead and I also take a snapshot picture of it in PNG format and I Surrender [Music] as many Freeze Frame clones as you want in the video remove the background of the object in the same way and take snapshots of it [Music] all the things just hoping you give me a reason to go [Music] demons [Music] [Music] will you wait for me you know what to say every time I start to slip away [Music] so I took five different PNG snapshots of the object at about five different points in total now we have to drag these snapshots on the timeline first I drag and drop the first snapshot to the start of the timeline drag the second snapshot into the track above it and I also drag and drop the remaining three snapshot pictures on the timeline according to the numbers foreign [Music] extend the duration of all snapshot pictures according to the video [Music] now move the playhead forward to where the person in the video reaches the point of the first picture [Music] and then split the first snapshot picture at this point after splitting we will have this snapshot divided into two parts and then delete the second part of the snapshot move the playhead slowly forward in this manner to place the playhead at the points of the rest of the pictures after placing the playhead split the corresponding picture there and delete the other part of it and delete the extra parts by splitting the rest of the pictures in the same way [Music] look at me [Music] so after doing all that now we're going to do some cool tricks with it so for that first I export this video for video you can write any name you can also do the rest of its settings you have to select MP4 as export format you can do the rest of the settings according to your choice after that export it by clicking the export button [Music] after exporting click on open folder option so the video will open in the exported folder on your computer now we have to import this video into filmora media but before the go to filmora Media and select everything here and delete it [Music] so now we have filmora media and timeline all empty after that I import the video into filmora media and then I drag and drop that video onto the timeline you can see that the person is looking very far away in this video I want to apply Zoom animation effect in it so for this I move the playhead to the start of the video double click on this video within the transform tab I increase the size of this video by scaling and I scaled this video to about 181 percent and in the start I adjust the position of the video and keep its left side at the center and add a keyframe here for the next keyframe I move the playhead forward and here is another keyframe to add in this keyframe I move the position of the right side of the video to the center [Music] the second keyframe should be placed where the freeze frame movements end so for this I change the position of this keyframe and move it to the last freeze frame [Music] and there you have it the freeze frame clone Trail effect in filmora 12. this effect adds a unique and Visually appealing touch to your videos don't forget to like And subscribe for more tutorials like this one bye foreign
