How much Is: The MONTHLY payment on a new 2021 Chevy Tahoe?

with six total trim levels the most requested payment is 800 per month i'm going to share with you in this video why that's nearly impossible and what to expect across all six trim levels let's talk about the 2021 tahoe base price this is going to be the cheapest vehicle you could possibly buy in the new 2021 tahoe segment we're going to do this in a certain way we're going to talk about msrp we're going to talk about the discount we're going to talk about taxes i'm using 6 sales tax because that's a good middle ground number so if you're in a state that charges more or less oregon new hampshire we don't like you because we know you have zero percent you can adjust accordingly fees we're going to use 427 in fees because that's a good middle number the fees could be their doc fee is miscellaneous fees with your taxes license fees that you have in your state they all vary so we're gonna use something middle ground and then we're gonna talk about out the door price so the base trim level is an ls the base price is fifty thousand two ninety five there's no rebates or discounts currently in today's market as i'm shooting this video but we're gonna talk about that here in a little bit taxes three thousand seventeen dollars there's that 427 fee i was talking about so your out the door price is 53 739 now what's this thing that cost you per month what are you going to write that check for or do that automatic debit for we're going to use 60 months at a 4 rate and i'll show you 72 doing the same thing a 60 month payment on fifty three thousand seven hundred thirty nine dollars is nine hundred and ninety dollars you do seventy two months take a little bit longer term you're talking eight hundred and forty one eight hundred there you go lt one of the most popular trims tahoe has fifty five thousand ninety five dollar base msrp 5827 out the door so what's that stinking check gonna cost you every single month on 60 months you're looking at 1083. 72 months 920 now i'll give you a word of a caution this is one of our most popular trim levels this is something that's absolutely huge i have a vehicle in stock right now with over a 66 000 msrp yes an lt trim level so when you add 11 000 of options on this vehicle what does it do to your monthly payment if you use that google payment calculator that i've linked in the description you're talking approximately 220 dollars per month now we're going to talk about the most popular trims and the expected msrps on these trims later in the video the newest trim level this year the rst that thing starts at 58 395 out the door it's 62 325 which means you would have 11 48 payment on 60 months and 9.75 if you go extended 72. and another new trim level and that would be z71 now you've heard this terminology before because we've had it as an option not as a trim level so z71 also only comes in four wheel drive sixty thousand four ninety five msrp 64 551 out the door so oh this check that we have to write wow 11.89 72 months you're still over a thousand dollars at 10 10. so let's go to the dreaded 84 months i'm gonna use five percent rate on this this is a competitive rate for five for 84 months that payment you're still looking at 912. next up we have the former top dog of the tahoe world and that would be the premier aka ltz 66 895 4x4 model 71 335 out the door these numbers are absolutely crazy but we sell them every single day 60 months 13 14 72 months 11 16 and oh my goodness gracious yes we're running the one right here one thousand eight dollars on 84 months ladies and gentlemen we have a new champion of the tahoe trim levels and that would be the high country 4x4 model 73 895 base price 78 055 out the door and all i can tell you is remember this you can sleep in your car but you can't drive your house because the payment on 60 months is 1 438 121 on 72 months and you're still over 1100 at 1103 on 84 months all right so the very next comment that i get from customers is what's it going to take to get me to an 800 car payment well chevy dude is here so 60 months if you want to get to an 800 car payment you need to finance 43 thirty nine dollars and i'm using a four percent interest rate seventy two months it gives you a lot of flexibility we're talking fifty one thousand one hundred thirty four dollars at that same four percent interest rate 84 allows you to borrow the most amount of money with that 800 car payment that's 56 601 at a 5 interest rate now regardless of your deal you have to be able to finance this amount right here to get to an 800 payment now if you have negative equity if you have a positive equity if you have cash down if you do not have excellent credit to qualify for four or five percent interest rate on these terms everything goes out the window these are the terms to get to 800 a month on your tahoe after all of that sticker shock of those payments usually comes the next infamous question on a tahoe deal and that is ah mike that's a little out of our budget how about elise would at least get us there usually i have to say no elise isn't going to get you there but have no fear chevy dude is here because i'm going to run you a lease on an lt tahoe at 55 000.095 base price so zero down 36 months 15 000 miles per year i was very generous on that you're looking at an eight hundred thirty dollar payment now at the end of those three years you got a couple things to decide you have to purchase the car trade it or just walk away from it let's say you wanna play that game i've played this game before and that's lease it for the least amount of payment buy it at the end that residual would be thirty four thousand one hundred fifty eight dollars so you gotta add that 830 times 36 that number is 29 880 dollars so at the end of buying it and leasing it you're going to be all in at 64038 now remember you have to pay tax license fees on that number right there and if you decide to finance it that means you're going to do another five or six years on financing so if you remember way back in the video 72 months equals 920 to purchase this vehicle what i didn't share with you was 84 months equals eight thirty one so you basically have the same lease payment as purchase payment regardless of what trend level you go with in previous generations the lt and the premier model was the most popular trim levels we'll see what happens with this new generation and having six options to choose from behind me is that 66 thousand dollar lt that i mentioned earlier and then we can walk up right to these high countries this one's 82 and this one's 78. the differences between these two is this one has the 22 inch wheels and the rear entertainment system that one does not those premier models we talked about earlier yeah we don't have any expect those to be around 75 000 so with that being said all of those payments i shared with you earlier are based off of starting msrps so any type of positive equity negative
