How I Mastered Hitman's HARDEST Map (Colorado)

four Targets in a small hostile location filled with armed guards ready to shoot you at a single glance know that isn't some fever dream you get after visiting Taco Bell it's a very real map that has been haunting Hitman players ever since its introduction all the way back in 2016 the way this map came to be is pretty simple I'll ran out of time and money to do the original concept of a giant Factory but they needed to have a Fifth map the storyline they were following at the time meant it had to be a military side of some kind filled with armed mercenaries but because of the lack of time they had to scale down production big time which led to them creating an extremely small map while making it flatter than my ex-girlfriend scaling down their Vision meant more mercenaries had to be filled into a smaller space and because you don't have time to build a proper facility it meant the majority of the map had to take place Outdoors now what that meant was simple Not only was it impossible to avoid getting spotted but also being spotted would result in being gunned down almost instantly as if your names Aladdin so the consequences of that map were as expected most people who played it hated it those who tolerated it still didn't enjoy playing it and the few people who actually enjoyed this map get rejected from The Hitman Community like they've just applied to the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna still we can't just sit around all day complaining like children while doing nothing to fix the issue we are not politicians so instead let's look at some solutions available to us Colorado has always been rated as the hardest map of the series by me and looking at the bow I made it seems I'm not the only one however I did make my way into Colorado a couple of days ago and started cooking up some strategies guides and tips to help you beat it but let's face it this is a tall ask so you might be wondering where should we start well like a great man once said when there's a person there's a problem when there's no person there's no problem a great quote by a great man by the name of Joseph Stalin so taking his advice to heart I suggest we start with the targets and we're gonna do this in a couple of different variants we're gonna do an early game a mid game and a late game early game takes place at the very beginning you're gonna go after a Target immediately mid game is around 3 minutes and late game is from five-minute supports what you're seeing on screen right now needs to be done every time you go after Sean Rose take out the guard take the shotgun hide the body and then hide the shotgun this is gonna be the very first method I'm gonna show you easy no Loadout required outside of a pistol and coins and it's just this simple we're gonna stand in front of the window just like that right in the corner and look at them and all we have to do is just look just chill relax and you can tell the suspicion bar is going up and up and up then we're gonna hide we're gonna put a coin down now the reason we're putting a coin down is because we don't want to do any takedowns in front of a window that's bad we can get caught very easily in front of a window and more often than not we will so right there you can tell I've got a coin just waiting for so no rush no nothing I know if I go after him right now the chance of me getting spotted is huge so I'm not gonna bother I'm just gonna chill I'm waiting to go for the coin and just like that sneak up behind them take them down as you can tell one minute 30 Sean Rose is done no crazy loadouts required no Seekers no tracks no medic grenades nothing just a simple peekaboo technique that anybody can do but let's say for some reason you [ __ ] it up you didn't stay in the correct place in the window something went wrong for some reason and it didn't work for you well here's what you're gonna do if that didn't work here's what's gonna happen we're gonna go round number two we're gonna stand at this window take out the pistol swap shoulders and shoot behind them then Crouch hide the pistol immediately and stand back up and from here all you want to do is look at the suspicion bar and you want it to go as high as humanly possible and then run forwards the reason we're doing this is because if he sees us immediately after the shot takes place he will be become suspicious he will get scared basically it's what's gonna happen he's gonna become hostile to us so because of that we Crouch immediately and we hide the pistol and then we show up again that's the way to do it consistently and this will work every single time this is like the first method as long as you do it correctly I promise you this will work the third method if you're a complete buffoon and you have not been able to make any of the previous methods work this is the method you're going for one minute 30 just wait for those guards to turn their back to you and then I'm just gonna chill again this is another peekaboo method very very easy we're just gonna chill right here and right next to the cover just wait for this bar to go as fast as possible and run your way to the Baler now remember there's a body in here of the Guard we hit earlier so don't touch the Bell don't touch it don't kill anybody by accident we're just gonna wait we're gonna sort of uh slow down just to make sure he goes in a position where we're not gonna get spotted from the front and then we're gonna come behind them again easy fiber water easy elimination easy isolation and hide the body right here this cover is perfect he will not be spotted here I assure you I've done this a lot more than once and yeah this is a very simple way to deal with him three different isolations or requiring only default Loadout but here's another method that you can do with an accident kill grab the propane flask it's literally right there and we're gonna put it right next to this uh fire drum or whatever you want to call it and the reason we're pulling it there is because it's easy to see you can't [ __ ] up the location of where we're putting it you know just you see this giant uh fired [ __ ] garbage can you you can't [ __ ] it up you can't miss it so we're just gonna stand there we're gonna chill we're gonna wait for him to move past it two shots and get an accident kill now I don't recommend this strategy as much because accent kills in Colorado cause a lot of hostility a lot of the guards are going to go after you you can have a lot of hard times trying to make your way around this map because the guards are going to start patrolling everywhere like you see on screen however we're gonna now go to the mid game as you can tell we're past three minutes this is the mid game and here's what we're gonna do we're just gonna stand here as previously look through the window and that's it it's applicable technique yet again but this time you cannot [ __ ] it up because he literally goes into cover as he walks past you he goes into cover so we cannot see you fully it's impossible and as you can tell we placed a coin in front not in front of the window just to make sure he moves away from the window so we do not get spotted this is a mid game strategy so the idea is you will pull the strategy off after you've maybe taken down either Penelope or mayo or some of the other Targets this is a mid game strategy right so because of that you're not gonna have time to take out the guard who we took down on the uh early game right the guard is still there so because of that we're just extra careful when it comes to Windows because he could spot us of course here's another isolation strategy this one that I use in my guide for Colorado in my perfect Colorado guide this is the strategy I'm using you're gonna see it right here mid game strategy for Sean Rose he walks his way in again we have two guards but that doesn't matter immediately we're gonna make our way in and we're gonna strangle him and then as soon as these triangles come we're gonna take out a wrench or whatever weapon we have on us that's uh non-male and take down those guards now you may want to go for the guard that's next to the shelter first because as you saw he turned around you may want to go after him uh before the other one but as long as you're quick enough as you can tell it's not difficult at all we can take them down no problem and then make your way out easily and again now we're in the late game as you can tell six minutes here's an extremely easy way to take them down very safe as well just wait for him to get to the clock you do not need to sabotage the clock and throw a coin right here into this room the clock does not need to be sabotaged he will stop at the clock and look at it no matter what sabotage in the clock is just a mission story it is not required he will look at the thing anyways and as you can tell he's the only one that hears this coin there is absolutely nobody to spot Us in this particular room so it is pretty much as safe as you can get if Sean rolls is your final Target this is what you do and from there I'm gonna show you another strategy this time we're at the top floor we're gonna take this guy down the reason we're taking this guy down the block guard down is because he has the keys to Rose's room and even if you have a lock pick you have to actually unlock things twice because once uh Sean Rose makes his way into the bathroom he will lock the door so again now we can just unlock it and if you put a coin down we can just get a nice easy drowning kill and as you can tell I mean how many all of this is easy Silent Assassin should only default Loadout no craziness no gadgets required easy stuff and they work for all types of guides because it can be done early game it can be done mid game it can be done late game whatever your guide whatever your route is I'm sure some of these uh tips that you're seeing can help you out and we're next to my Pro body now the good thing about Maya pravati is even though it says early game technically it's not extremely true because my provides Loop is extremely small her Loop is just going around the house that you're seeing right now where we're entering the barn area this is her entire sort of loop is just being here so because she's in the barn area the entire time we can do this peekaboo technique that you're seeing me do pretty much 95 of the time it doesn't matter if you're admitted in three minutes in six minutes in chances are shoe will be here I mean more often than not she really will be here and the only danger you have these two guards are not dangerous is the Roman guard to our right you see him on the mini map he's the only danger as long as he's not looking towards us however he's completely blind to what we're doing so right here we can take her down safely and hide the body right next to this monitor this will make sure that the body is never found and you can keep going with the rest of the strategy if you want to do it in this particular manner however here's another strategy again early game two minutes in you can take down drone rules and then immediately go after Maya with this particular strategy I'm showing you simple peekaboo just like Sean Rose peekaboo and then we run our way forward to get away from the window drop a coin just in case then we can just hide behind the table or we can hide in the closet it doesn't really matter and as she makes her way in you will see again this is a very safe and easy way to isolate her so far all we've used despicable techniques which and everything about peekaboo it requires no gear it requires no Loadout you don't need to have anything to to be able to successfully pull off a peekaboo technique anybody can do it from any level to any gadgets to anything and this will work brilliantly now I'll also show you some accident kills under two minutes everybody knows this accident kill this is the most common way people deal with my providing we're just gonna shoot this thing on top of her and there we are this is an easy accident kill run about in the two minute Mark so you can do this for the first takedown or you can wait and maybe have it for the second in two minutes you should be able to take down at least Sean Rose or as Robert then here for a second accident here we're gonna sabotage this oil container drop a coin and just wait for it to show up and it's really that simple by the way you should take down the guard that is hanging out near the car but anyways right here you're gonna see she's gonna make her way in just to grab the coin and then one shot make sure no one spots us and we get an extremely easy action until again two minutes in so this is all early game possible stuff very very easy and this is how we get done with my provided two isolations two accidents now we're off to Ezra Burke first off in an isolation all this requires is timing just being fast and making rain to these bushes before he's able to spot you and right here you're gonna see this is actually my guide strategy it's very very easy just make your way in here hide in the bushes take them down hide the body I mean it doesn't get any easier than this no the impeccable required nothing just a little bit of timing and not being super slow from there I'm gonna show you another one which is an accident kill this is a bit difficult to do shoot only as you're gonna see it is a bit risky so I don't recommend you doing this just like all accident kills in Colorado I don't recommend them because the alarms are gonna go off guards are gonna Panic it makes a hard map even harder to me personally accent because you're not worth it but if you want to do an accident kill for Ezra bark if you want to do something fast this is a possibility this is something you can do that will work every single time now mid game three minutes in we're in the mid game he's gonna make his way to the shed and here's something that I like to do to take him down in the shed now all these uh strategies I'm showing you are in mind that may be ahead of doing as robork you've done either Maya Pro body you've done Sean Rose you've been active in the early game and because of that in the mid game those guards that you're seeing right now are not taken down because you're just making your way towards Robert so all of these guards yes I could have taken them down ahead of time and just snuck in and killed him when he was alone but because in my mind you would be busy taking down the other targets you wouldn't have done that you wouldn't have had the time to do that so because of that I'm showing you how to take them down when all the guards are around him ways to do it uh when you're on the move as per se and also be very careful of that window you can get spotted very easily at you so I was very very careful as I made my way around it I wanted to have nothing to do with that window but right now we're gonna make our way through as you can tell I don't have a fiber water I've forgotten it but it doesn't matter right behind execution we can hide the body and just like that we have a very very easy mid game strategy for Ezra bark and for the late game or very early game you can find him over here in the basement interrogating the hostage here's what we do first we're gonna use the electronic box and then we're gonna make our way to the boiler and we're gonna sort of distract both of these uh guards at the same time and this is very important as you can tell us actually wasted a bit of time you may want to be a little bit quicker than I was because maybe I should have been a little bit braver but it doesn't matter you still have enough time to take both of them down you should by the way shut down the boiler after you activate it I didn't do that as you can tell I didn't turn it off but over here I'm just gonna sneak behind and I'm Gonna Knock this guy out as well and just like that both of the cards are taken down and Ezra bark is the only one left and just like that where it's gonna sneak right behind them like a ninja boom awesome animation and he's taking down and just like that we have early game isolation mid game isolation we have a late game isolation and we have an accident kill just to spice things up this is just rubor different ways to get them depending on how you choose to do them and last and certainly least is Penelope Grace now the reason for that is because she's a very limited Target sadly there really aren't that many things you can do with Penelope she is very very limited because she's always surrounded by guards everywhere she always takes safe routes she doesn't really put herself in any Harm's Way but you're gonna see this is my official guide strategy that you're seeing right now this is the early game isolation this is difficult if you want to see how to properly do this fully from start to finish watch my guide at the end of the video but right here throw an uppercut behind her and then peekaboo and she will always be the one with the suspicion meter that goes all the way to the top it will always be her 10 out of 10 times this will work I guarantee it this strategy has been worked on for months trust me I know what I'm talking about this will work she is always the one that gets suspicious so she's gonna come investigate sometimes a guard will come with her but he will come with her and then immediately turn around and walk away so if that happens don't get scared he will walk away immediately nothing will change this will work then we can hide the body the only risk is the Roman guards spotting us when we take her down but as long as we're careful with the timing we should be able to do it mid game isolation is not possible it just isn't someone may be able to figure it out but for me personally the risk is far too high she's surrounded by guards at all times the accident kill is the only way to take her down and even this accident kill kind of sucks because it's very difficult to find a Viewpoint to be able to shoot the canister properly and also she doesn't always walk right next to it on every playthrough so it's a bit random overall it's better than nothing if you have no ways to deal with her this is definitely better than nothing but it's not ideal by any means either early game or late game is the way you want to deal with her usually and here's the late game and this is very similar to Sean Rose almost exactly the same she walks into the room we throw a coin right there and she's gonna go investigate the same thing with your throne Rose it's a perfect strategy if it ain't broke don't fix it it's easy it's impossible to get spotted you know it gives you full isolation why not do it it just doesn't make sense not to do it so right here you can tell we're gonna take it down we're gonna go rock her and hide the body right behind these objects and just like that this is all of the Colorado targets done in early game mid game late game some with accident kills as well sounds awesome should only default Loadout and from here here's some important items in Colorado that you need to be aware of first of all are coins especially for those of you who love running no loadouts this is great right here right next to your start there's a coin then we make our way through and right to our left there's another coin So for anybody who wants to run a no Loadout here you go two easy coin locations you can find and on top of that right where the bombs area are where the explosives are you're gonna find right here on the desk two additional coins so if you brought no coins you would have four coins right now and if you brought coins you can tell you have seven so these coins very very easy to get on top of that on the other side as you can tell right now there is a propane flask as you saw me use it for Sean Rose great location very very good very easy to take down uh kills not the best one but for some targets especially in freelancer it is a better technology than not to have it now for a crowbar for those of you like me who don't like bringing a lock pick unnecessarily here's an easy crowbar the best crowbar location in Colorado no doubt about it right here uh this is pretty much the only crowbar you can get to shoot only so I hope you're able to memorize this particular location it is really good from there we're gonna move on to the wrenches of course wrenches are great for sabotaging things and again when it comes down to these items you can also find them on the Hitman maps online you can look for them however I've decided just to show you in what in my opinion are the most important items in Colorado items that you're gonna need to take more often than not very useful stuff and right here there's the wrench another wrench can be found in the garage section where the cars are very easy to get as well there's a couple of very easy locations and also you're gonna find the third one right here when you make your way into the house uh sort of the outside part of the house right next to where the bay basement entry is you're going to find Orange sitting right here as well so those are three wrench locations just in case and from here we're gonna Focus entirely on little syringes and little poison and just poison in general we're gonna unlock this door as you saw I went to the left and the camera did not spot me if you go to the left it won't spot you want to entry you probably will get spotted a little bit but the evidence can be destroyed rather easily so it's not something to worry about here's the little syringe right next to the stairs you will find it very strong very useful item especially for freelancer this is a must-have remember this location from there rat and little poison they're located in the barracks where the point man is and here's how you get them it's actually very easy you don't need a disguise all you need is some proper timing so again just look what I'm doing I'm just waiting around a little bit just to wait for the guards to sort of get out of my way and basically look to other directions and that's exactly what's going to happen you can see the point man is gonna go get some water the other guy is gonna go wash his hands or whatever and right here right next to the door a medic rat poison which is great and again I'm just gonna look around to make sure that you know they can spot me and right here right next to the television right next to these uh plates of food funnily enough you can find a little poison uh jar which will allow you to then just pause on anybody's food either rat or little portions is very useful technically it's a flower it's not a jar but you get the point you get what I'm saying English is a second language it is what it is for a screwdriver in case you need to sabotage something with a screwdriver this right here is pretty much the best one you can find it's the easiest one you can find so this is the one you should opt for and of course uh to just show you something different if you want to run disguises and you want to get the best disguise on the map possible this guys that will give you full access to the house where three of your targets are I mean as Robert the basement and both Sean Rose and Penelope hanging around at the upper floors right here this disguise will give you full access to the house it will allow you to get whatever you need to get to and it's as easy as it can be to get it so definitely make sure to memorize this one if you haven't already and overall from here I'm gonna show you the best exit in my opinion or at least an exit that you should be aware of because it is very important and that's the quad bike keys and the quad bike Keys actually are located uh you saw it right next to the wrench the first wrench that we found but the quad bike is extremely important and I'll explain to you why that is in just a little bit but right here we're going to jump over uh the fence and we're gonna make our way in and right here on our right this is where the quad bike keys are and here's why it's so important now you're gonna see the map as you can see the map on the right side if your route is to finish in the barn into tar pit in the garages even in the shooting range or the chemistry shed the quad bike is your best exit the tornado shelter with Sean Rose's face is not just difficult but also time taking Twitter you don't have to have shown rows which if you don't have them you can't get through there but if you do the 3D printer then it's risky you can get spotted Twice first pressing the button to get thrown Roller's face and then actually grabbing it you can get supported twice it's difficult there there's a lot of enforcers the quad bike is by far the best exit as you can tell it's the only exit on one part of the map that you can find there's three exits right next to one another and just the quad bike on its own so if your route is to finish in the barn with Maya Pro body in the garages rear map provided or Sean Rose or even in a chemistry shed for Ezra Burke the quad bike is your best exit by a mile it's your safest exit it's your fastest exit the bridge is more unsafe than the quad bike as long as you have a coin or an apricot and you just throw it to distract the guards the quad bike is the best exit so I wanted to show it to you guys and with that we're gonna move on to some infiltration just a couple of easy infiltration points that everybody should know about when it comes to this particular map the first one how to make your way from the bottom floor which you're seeing here outside the house all the way to the top all you need to do is watch out for the patrolling guard he's not here and make sure those guards are doing push-ups and then we can easily make our way all the way to the top this is a great entry point if you're doing The elusive Target the chameleon it's great for showing roles in the bathroom this guard make sure to knock them out every time you get the chance to do so he does have a key for Sean Rose's bathroom as well as his room in general so this is a very important uh key and also on top of that this guard is just really annoying and you want to get rid of them pretty much every time he can spot you and right here I'm gonna show you the other one which is the basement basement of course very important for Ezra Burke but also through the basement you can make your way into the main living room now because these guards are looking towards me I'm gonna have to go the other way and make it down the stairs but you can also just make your way uh to the fence and leap over it and jump sort of right next to the camera you won't get spotted as well it really depends where the guards are on your playthrough but right here unlock it as you can tell I didn't get supported because I hooked the wall and then I'm gonna get spotted slightly as I make my way into the room but that's not something to worry about I'm gonna show you how you really evidence very quickly as well that is something that you know it's difficult to avoid when you're making a way in but right here swap shoulders this hacker isn't in the best position but this should work and there it is we get rid of the recording nice and easy like that and from here I'm gonna show you also an easy way to make your way straight into the living room uh just uh right up and this will take some timing on the guards you will have to get maybe a little bit lucky with their position or just be patient or throw a coin uh it you know it's one of those things where you are somewhat dependent on where the guards are staring at so if they're looking at you you may struggle a little bit right here you're gonna see they're not looking at me at all I've picked a good time and right here I can just make my way straight in and I'm gonna make my way straight into the server room and here a coin toss or patience one or the other because this is a mission store that's being told more or less it's not a mission story but it's Intel and by throwing a coin you basically are able to make your way through and as you can tell right next to the clock we can tamper with it we can make our way upstairs this is a great entry point as well if this doesn't work you can always choose the basement and make your way up here you do have some options now we're finally gonna make our way up to the guide as you can tell default Loadout this guide I kid you not has been in the work for months it has been months that I've been working on this particular strategy and just really uh putting it together making sure that it's absolutely bulletproof making sure it's solid and there's no missing pieces and right here we're gonna grab the key for the quad bike very important exit this is the exit we're taking because our route is gonna end towards uh that chapter towards the barn area and there's no exits outside of the quad bike but right there we're taking that and here speed is of the essence in a way you do want to be fast or at least not be extremely slow and grab as many upper coats as you can get as you can tell I did grab a couple uh you do need uppercuts apricots are great they're like coins except that unlike a coin the guards won't go after them to pick them up they'll just look in the direction they're thrown so because of that it sort of allows you to get away with a lot of easy peekaboo techniques when using them they're great for peekaboos and right here we're just gonna wait as you can tell as soon as we climbed up he was looking to the guard he will always do that so as long as you're not super slow you'll always be able to do this just grow them from behind and easily take them down but yeah he always looks towards the guard after he makes his way up the stairs so again as long as you're not like super super slow you should be able to enter the bushes pretty easily and then right here next up is uh Penelope Grace the hardest Target in Colorado by far hardest Target maybe in Hitman one maybe even Hitman in general but right here two coins one very close the other a little bit farther uh the whole guide of how it was born basically this guide was just experimentation because I saw that Penelope Graves was by far the hardest Target and I saw an easy way to deal with her and you're gonna see that again in just a bit and I was like well I have to come up with a full route because she's so easy here you're able to take her down so quickly I have to make this into a full-on route and right here we throw the uppercut directly behind her we wait for the suspicion bar and we Crouch this will always be her when it comes to her suspicion because NPC's Target NPCs like her suspicion bar for her uh sort of fills up a lot quicker than for a guard and because she's looking directly towards her because you know when we threw it we throw directly behind her so when she turned around she looks directly towards us so it's gonna fill out very quickly and she will always come with us and as you can tell sometimes the guard will follow but he will never stay with her he will always come back and just like that a solid strategy very very solid uh you will be able to take her down and hide the body and again both targets here azeroborg and Penelope Graves their bodies are hidden they cannot be found this is a very clean playthrough so far and right here we're gonna make our way through the botanic area and we want to be careful of course because there are a lot of guards around here but as long as we just saw Crouch run and you can stand up every now and again as well we are going to be able to make our way through you're gonna see right now for Sean Rose we have to be able to make our way to the car to the Jeep we see in front of us uh before the two guards make their way there right here these two guards you gotta beat them to the Jeep because you have to take cover and then uh that's the way you sort of Dodge them if you're not able to make your way uh to the G before they do you're gonna have a really difficult time because there's no other way to go past them the Jeep is basically your only cover to make your way to this point and right here like I said in my Sean Rose chapter because this is mid game we haven't had the time to take care of the cars that are in here so we're just gonna make our way in favor war him immediately kill him uh get rid of him and then after that wrench take it out take it here then take this wrench and throw it at this guy's head now you can a sort of change things around if you want you can take down the guard who is next to the shelters and then take this guard down after that it basically depends on your timing and depends on how you believe it will be the quickest way to do it but you have some options here and right there I'm gonna be brave I'm gonna be courageous and I'm gonna run right through this is unnecessary you're gonna see in just a moment when we make our way to my Parvati that this was not necessary it really wasn't we have to wait here as well my probiotic currently is having a training exercise with her uh militia with her mercenaries so because of that we're gonna have to wait a little bit anyways uh there was no need to rush like you saw me do I just was trying to you know get a quick time because I'm recording I want to get a good route but you don't need to rush this one four minutes three targets down in Colorado that's pretty impressive I mean this so far we are lightning fast when it comes to Santa's house and default Loadout for the water and everything else should only so we are pretty quick and as you can tell this guard with his peripheral vision can be very annoying even though you know you're crouched you're taking cover he can still be very very annoying and right here as you can tell they are doing a training exercise we're gonna have to be just a little bit patient and not rush it doesn't take too long because you can tell it's gonna end pretty much any moment now but the two guards the real problem here are the two guards looking from above because they will see us they're looking in the same direction of our provias and because of that we can't ignore her with a peekaboo so we're just gonna have to wait a little but right now they're gonna turn around and as soon as they turn around we're gonna make our way over here and just let us pause a little bit you know just get the suspicion bar going be careful of this guard in front of us he can't see us cure if we're not careful so we have to make sure he's looking away from us right here he turns this back to us we can walk free these two guards are pretty much never an issue because they're always going to look away from us so right here we're gonna make our way behind get her and garage her nice and easy and again we however she's done right next to the monitor is a very safe place she will not be found here and just like that we've been able to take down all four Targets in about 5 minutes which is pretty impressive for Colorado again four Targets in this map this is fast trust me this is quick and especially because we're doing a fireball our default Loadout uh it's extra quick because these are not easy things to achieve and as you can tell we're not really getting spotted from anywhere it's pretty easy and by the way this video not easy to make so please if you
