How I made VS NONSENSE without any modding Experience

[Music] since friday night funk has been slowly taking over youtube i decided to make my own friday night funkin video which i did and they didn't go so well my friend on discord just sent me a link to a youtube video on how to make full week mods and i just replied heck no i'm not gonna make a full week i made a full week mod [Music] focus on me so an unbelievable amount of you have done to the mod and play it yourself well that's a lot uh i decided to make my own step-by-step process on how i made the mod itself so here it is so just by looking at gameplay from friday night funkin requirements of making friendly pumpkin mods are drawing animating making music and coding and here are the things that i can do i can draw an anime basically i have no skill whatsoever so i just google online any tutorial if i could find any coding tutorials whatsoever and i just came across with this video so the first step of making an fmf mod first you should build your game well it seems simple enough oh frick yes i finally get the code back up and running and it totally didn't take me like at least two weeks to figure this out so the next thing that i'm gonna be doing is making the sprites and the backgrounds so the problem is i have no idea how to use adobe animate which is google online and i found this tutorial very helpful so i finished the background most of you have been pointing out the trash can i have no idea what you're talking about it's just an ordinary trash can nothing suspicious around here so then i made the sprites and i made the guy swing his arms left and right because that's exactly what i do when i'm bored after i made the sprites i moved on to music and spoiler alert i have no idea how to make music but then i came across a program called fl studio which is a daw which stands for doing awesome [Music] music i guess so i googled it online i found this youtube tutorial after a trial and error i made my first music and it's very bad because my friend pointed out a melody of garcello [Music] i improved afterwards i think the full music is in the description by the way if you want to bully me the last fundamental thing we need is coding spoiler alert i don't know how to code wow surprising it's like you don't even know how to so i watch multiple videos in the need of understanding on how to code but then i realize this is boring so just google an example of if statements and i immediately understand how to code i don't know why but this makes sense all of this because of a google image so we're gonna make the mod first i added the weak logo [Music] then i just cut it into sprites that might be easy to do okay that's a bit of a problem he's just floating there like he's already in phase four so i'd like to ask a question first welcome to the show of questions i'll be asking you a question and you'll be the one to answer it first question how do i make the nonsense character not float above the ground your answer is a adjust the x and y axis to get to the right position or d make another sprite sheet and c be a stupid idiot and use offsets to place it on the ground so your answer is right because if your answer is a then you're wrong because i use offsets to place them on the ground like a stupid idiot that i am but it works nonetheless so heck it i'm keeping it so i looked at every single f mod and i assume that dialogue is required for the mod but then i noticed it's very overrated and should die into fire totally just because i can't read and stuff so i decided to add animated cutscenes not gonna lie kind of felt bad for the deaf people since there are no subtitles well too bad deal with it so i started animating the first cutscene and for being an idiot for five hours and i finished it but then i realized i'm an absolute idiot so there's a problem i can't code in the cut scenes but a few trial and errors and i managed to get cutscenes to work it's very easy and totally simple and it requires zero knowledge and it didn't take me two weeks to figure it out just so you know brightfire pointed out my comment just to make fun of me and to which i replied the comment is old while on the topic of cutscenes i've been trying to find a tutorial on how to add it they found a source code guide which is very helpful while reading guide i found this thing called script events which are events that are script and stuff you know so i made a couple animations and i added it just for fun and i also found out that you can switch to characters while mid song events so i had this idea in the second and the third song where the character is more tired or angry and i totally didn't steal this idea from a mod that shall not be named so i was going around the code and i found a code which detects accuracy and i had this idea where what if the game is based on your accuracy because why would tang man say you're pretty good even though you suck at it so i added the mechanic if you can't even call it a mechanic and it works like charm what you expect something to be broken well i did do so yeah uh i guess so every mod has a last place for some reason and it's like every character has a final form and i don't know why so i had this idea in my mind thinking hey would it be funny if my character became a godlike being that is even stronger than shaggy himself get it cause shaggy funny haha you're supposed to laugh right now so i did that no you can just give your persona powers and expect people to like it haha power go so i made the sprites and added it to the game but there seems to be a problem just just one small problem just a teeny tiny problem yes just little it's just you know he's just floating there like he's in creative mode in minecraft so i remember that bb ponzu has made a health chart mod with carol floating and stuff so i went to his source code and still i mean borrow the code for a bit and it works and finally the mod was done and hopefully that there are
