How Anyone Can Jailbreak the PS4 on 9.00 with a USB 2022 (Full Tutorial)

so this is how anyone can jailbreak their ps4 console with a usb stick on the newest 9.00 update that has literally just came out and you might be thinking why haven't i done one of these ps4 jailbreak tutorial videos before now to be completely straight with you guys i've been really hesitant to make one of these tutorials in the past and this is purely because of how unstable these jailbreaks have been in the past of using one of these consoles as it was so annoying having all these errors come up constantly but what i can safely say is this new update that has just been released is so much more stable and it's definitely worth jailbreaking your ps4 console guys more now than ever before and obviously once you do this you can then install emulators such as playstation 2 game ball etc you can also install trainers mod menus for popular games and so much more and what i'm going to do is make this video as easy as possible to follow even if you guys are a beginner at this i'm going to try and make this as easy as possible so that anyone can jailbreak their console so if you guys do enjoy this video giving it a like rating would help me out immensely i am actually all loaded up let's get straight into this tutorial on how to jailbreak your console so first of all most importantly we need to make sure this ps4 console doesn't try and update itself so let's go ahead and go to settings by pressing up on the d-pad and going into the settings menu so system and then go into automatic downloads and make sure every single one of these is unticked next we need to go to the network menu so go up to here where it says network and what you want to do is uncheck the internet which is here so just uncheck that box very important stuff guys so now let's check what update our console is on so go to the bottom of this menu screen and go to system and then go to system information and as you can see my console is on the 7.55 update which was the last update that you could actually jailbreak the console on so if your console is showing an update that is 9.00 or earlier you can actually jailbreak your console if it says 9.03 unfortunately you cannot jailbreak it as you have recently updated the console but if it says 7.55 or anything earlier than 9.00 you can do it guys and if it actually does say 9.00 you can actually skip ahead to the timestamp on screen where you'll be able to jailbreak your console if it doesn't say 9.00 and it says something earlier than that like 7.55 for example like mine continue watching as what we're going to do is simply update the console to the 9.00 update so what you guys will need for this is a usb stick and what you guys do need to do now is head over to your pc and if you go into my video description right now go ahead and click the link which will take you to this website which looks dodgy as hell i've got to say but it is legit uh this is where you can actually download the updates from so so scroll down until you can see firmware 9.00 don't download the top one whatever you do it's 9.00 click the download button it may take a little while 467 meg so this is the update file that we just downloaded ps4 update dot pup now it's very important that it's named exactly this so if it does say anything other than ps4update.pup rename it to this all we're going to do now is plug in our usb into our pc so i have just done this and you want to right click on your usb and go to properties and you just want to make sure that the file system is x fat and you might be thinking what am i even saying here what the hell is an ex fat well it's literally just the way you format the usb it needs to say exfat and if it doesn't say that all you have to do is right click on the usb select format and just go ahead and make sure it says exfat in here and then click the start button obviously formatting means it's going to delete everything off the usb but what that will do is make sure the usb works with your ps4 console so mine is already set up in the right file system so this go ahead and go into the usb and what you want to do is make a folder named ps4 all in capital letters and then with inside that folder make another one that says update all in capital letters and now what we're going to do is very simply drag this update file that we downloaded into the update folder that we just created so drag it in it's now going to move over it might take a little while because it's not the smallest file in the world that took its sweet time right so that's in the folder now so now that we've done that let's take out the usb and place it into our ps4 now we just want to double check that the internet is unchecked let's go to the network settings again yep so it's unchecked so now we're going to go back into our settings menu and let's go down to where it says system software update now i'm going to insert the usb into the console so now that it's inserted let's click system software update and what it should say is the following version is now available version 9.00 just make sure it says version 9.00 it will but just you got to double check all right so now that's perfect let's now click the next button and that's fine let's click the update button and if this fails for whatever reason don't worry just try it again sometimes it gives you an error but it's perfectly fine it looks like it's going to work straight away for me and perfect [Music] so as we can see the console is now on the update 9.00 perfect so now let's go ahead and set up the internet on the console so go into the settings menu and go into the network section oh bloody let's take that first tick that box and then click it i'm going to be using wi-fi for this so i'm going to go into wi-fi then go into custom then i'm going to select my wi-fi which is anaconda neck and ask me why it's called that all right here we go so i've put in the password it's going to connect so now we're going to select the automatic ip address setting then do not specify and then for dns we need to click manual and this is what we're going to put in so for the primary dns we need to put in 192.241.221.79 done so there we go just make sure that's correct it is then we're going to go into the secondary dns and we're going to type in let's get rid of that 165.227.83 there we go so now we can click ok and then click next then we can select automatic for that then do not specify and there we go now if you haven't done this already just unplug your usb from your console because you don't need it plugged in anymore but using the dns we blocked the console from being able to update and now let's move on to the next step so let's go back on to our pc okay so go into the video description again and you want to download the next file which is named rufus and it's not a bloody dog it's an app that you're going to use so what you want to do is insert your usb into your pc and now let's go ahead and run the rufus application so let's double click on it as i said you will be able to download this from my video description uh you might get this message but don't worry just click the run button okay so here we go uh what we're going to do is click the little button that says show advanced options and you want to tick the box that says list usb hard drives and in this drop down menu at the top here just make sure that your usb drive is selected this is the same usb that we used to install the update file on the console and now what we're going to do is go back into the video description once again and download the image file it's not very big it won't take long to download and it's just simply an image file so once you have it downloaded what we're going to do is open the rufus back up again and we're going to click the button that says select and now click that image file and now the app will say ready and you can now click the start button and oh yeah that's fine just make sure you click ok to that and as you can see it's as simple as that the image file is now on the usb so now we can close this app and we are now done with the pc so let's now move on to the ps4 again and do not plug your usb into your ps4 just yet just leave it aside as we're going to be doing this a little bit later so on the ps4 console let's now go on to the internet browser which is on the console anyway you don't have to download it it's already on there so let's go on to this and i'm just going to have to delete all of my history and you're gonna have to do the same as well so to do this simply click the options button on your controller and go to delete all so delete all those pages press options again go into browsing history and then press options again and then select clear browsing history so it all gets removed then press the options button again go into settings and make sure you click the delete cookies button along with the clear website data button so now that we've done that perfect so go into the tab at the top and we're going to type in the following website address and i do think this is the best one to use personally and what you want to type in is k a r o 2 18 you can see it there dot ir and here we go and this is the website address that you will get to it's a very simple website address to type in and what we're going to now do is click the 9.00 gold button and it's now going to cache the website so we're going to wait for the percentage there to hit 100 there we go page cached now it does say to turn off the internet you don't actually have to do this because in previous jailbreaks you had to deal with this and it was such a pain in the ass you had to turn off the internet turn it back on again turn it off turn it on it was such a nightmare luckily you don't have to do this with this so all you want to do is press the ps home button on your controller and then go back onto the internet browser and then go into the website address again so it basically reloads the page go into the 9.00 gold once again and as said previously make sure that you have not plugged in your usb you don't want to plug it in just yet so now what we're going to do is click the button that says gold hen version 2b now just a side note all these weird words and terminology involved with the ps4 jailbreak i do apologize for if you are new to this you might be thinking what in the hell is a hen or what the hell is a payload and it can be a bit daunting if you're completely new to this but don't worry about it what we're going to do is click this button and once you've clicked it you're going to see it begin to load the gold hen which essentially means the console is now being jailbroken so we're just going to wait for this to happen and in a moment we're going to get this message which is completely okay click the ok button okay so now it's going to ask you to insert the usb so let's go ahead and do that so i've got it in let's now click the ok button okay so there we go gold hen version two loaded don't worry about the error message that little bit on the left there is the bit that we actually care about so now that's done so we can actually back out of that now your console has now successfully been jailbroken and the big congrats because now you are able to do some pretty insane things with your console but don't get a massive rod on just yet because there is a few things that you do need to do before doing anything dodgy on this console and the main thing is disabling the updates because sony love to try and update your console so you want to be safe so first let's press the guide button on the controller i mean the ps4 home button sorry i'm too used to xbox let's go into the settings menu and now you're going to see this new little bit at the top here that says gold hen this wasn't there before because your console is now jailbroken you've got new things you can actually gain access to so click the gold hen button and now we want to enable the bin loader server so tick the box this will now allow you to load payloads onto your console now you might be thinking what the hell is a payload well i'm going to show you right now so let's go back into the internet browser and back into that website once again now that we've actually enabled the bin loader you can now actually click these functions in this website now the most important one that we're going to do here is the disable updates payload you want to click this as soon as possible because this will now ensure that the console never tries to update to the newest update so let's go ahead and click this here we go so payload loaded oh my god honestly this is amazing i love this i can't stress how annoying even this was so difficult to do on the old jailbreaks right so now that we've done that guys your console is safe it's not going to get updated and you are ready to use your ps4 so let's go into the home page you guys will see i do have a few emulators and apps on my console already i've actually installed these on the previous jailbreak but if i load up one of these let's go ahead and load up the patch installer for example you will see that it will actually open up and work this obviously can't be used on a normal ps4 console so there we go we can see we've got that loaded up let's get out of that so as you can see i've got loads of really cool things like a playstation 2 emulator i've also got these apps such as the homebrew store and if i load this up i can show you right now it's like a it's like the playstation store really but you can actually install apps and games on this along with trainers aka mod menus for games it's brilliant it's so easy to use as well and just to give you an example these are the kind of things that you can download you can actually download apps such as the ps4 explorer along with games and emulators this is where i've got my emulators from and once you install it it then shows up on your ps4 home page as you can see here so if you guys want to learn how to install these apps i am going to leave a link down below to modded warfare on youtube and he shows you how to install these apps and he's definitely makes some of the best tutorials on this and that way you guys can now install the emulators and apps that you actually want to use and get the most out of your console before you guys go ahead and enjoy your ps4 jailbroken console you need to be made aware that every time you turn off your console you will need to go into the gold hen and click the button again and jailbreak the console which is a bit of a pain in the ass i understand that but there is a way around this and i'm going to show you right now so if you go into your settings menu once again and then you go into the power saving settings set features available in rest mode and if you tick the box that says keep application suspended you can now actually put your console into rest mode and when you boot the console back up again you won't have to do the jailbreak which is brilliant of course if you're going to turn the console off completely you will need to do the jailbreak again which essentially means going on to the internet browser going into the website once again unplug the usb then click the gold hen button and when it asks for you to insert the usb plug it in and it will jailbreak the console you will need to do this if you turn the console off completely and i really don't mind doing this i think this is fine it's not a problem and apart from that guys that's it you've jailbroken your console well done with this new update it is so worth it i think and apart from that guys i really hope you enjoyed this if you found it informative giving the
