waymaker then it means that you're suppressing something believer that means there's something in you that wants to rise but you're pushing it down and you know the cause of that might be your neighbor or your consciousness of your neighbor or because there's some sense of refinement around here and therefore you want to be appropriate put all that aside and get ready for your own personal transformation and determine in your heart that this sunday morning i will see jesus how do you determine that the bible says he inhabits he sits down that's cathedrals he sits down in the praises of his people now if you're holding back his praise it means you don't want to see him but there are some of us here we don't really care about whether you want to see him or not but as for you and your house with what you have to deal with this week what you've had to deal with for the last seven months you are not going to probate your praise you will not allow a stone to outpraise you give him his work in the public health sector or i work in the public health sector since then i never had a stable job life got really dry and it seemed like nothing was forthcoming i almost started to panic but the messages helped me to keep on going one morning the holy spirit nudged me to forward my curriculum vitae to a director general i had met in the past i did that at about 11 a.m in the morning and later that same evening i got an unexpected call from him and we had a short conversation he ended by saying you are a very lucky chap don't worry i'll give you something please take it seriously i had no clue that at that time that the organization was in the middle of a massive recruitment exercise but the holy spirit did the dg actually felt i had i had some form of inside information five days later i got a mail to resume the documentation for a new job i never really applied for in other words he got the job i have since resumed as an assistant director in this highly impactful public health agency on the 2nd of august 2021 may the name of the lord be praised for absolutely shattering all protocol for his son thank you pastor paul for all you do and for the entire rooted in christ series and all those before it they sequentially built and sustained me through the desert thank you pastor for all you have done and all you do and all you continue to do mbbs msc epid epidemiologists and medical stats f w a c p c o m m h e a l t h second testimony go ahead put your hands together for god and take it as an advertorial for what he will do in your life i know there's massive unemployment and underemployment in the country but your case is different and remember that delays are not denials you know sometimes god delays the marriage because he wants to grow up the man a little more put a mustache on his face a big a big wallet in his back pocket and put some wealth in his value chain or his value system and increase him so that by the time he is ready you can't church i want to thank god for the divine provision of a job i attended an interview on the 23rd of june 2021 but felt bad after the exercises i felt i could have performed much better at the interview i however trusted in god and remembered the word of god from pastor paul on the 20th of june 2021 that we should enter into his rest and that everything we need has been settled not by our works but by his provision hence i rested and exercised my faith that the job was mine not by works but by his completed finish work i immediately hoped this testimony or hyped this testimony by faith and saved it in my draft to be sent upon receiving the offer so he pre-wrote this testimony before it happened after several days of silence from the interviewer i was reminded about god's promises on sunday the 4th of july when pastor declared we would receive good news and life-changing testimonies by thursday of that week this i believed and rejoiced throughout the week as if it was done by the grace of god i got a call on thursday the 8th of july 2021 as was prophesied at about 12 43 p.m that i was the successful candidate and was granted the job this indeed can only be god and it is definitely not by my works he has favored me in a foreign land thank you pastor for life rightly dividing the word of god god is indeed faithful another testimony uh from jennifer germaid dafe my thursday miracle and more good morning pastor and good morning church dear pastor paul congratulations on our forbes award and as a daughter of the house i've claimed the award too laugh out loud i'm the lady that testified about leaving a kettle on the gas cooker for nine hours no fire or smoke and also the testimony of my niece getting healed of a heart condition the thursday testimony of this house is now something i'm consistently expecting and praying for and honestly it is so real i run a boutique customer experience consulting company that launched in the heat of the pandemic so i was in a swim or sink situation i decided to come or rather i decided to become a referral partner for a company called freshworks just to learn some commission or just to earn some commission in about five months they made me a reseller due to my dedication between july last year and now i have become nigeria's if not west africa's number one preferred partner for fire or rather for fresh works this position comes with responsibility and targets and in q2 it seemed difficult to meet my targets but miraculously on the last thursday of the month and of the quarter a deal came through and i exceeded my target for that quarter after pastor paul's forbes award i started screaming i am global oh i am global oh don't talk to me anyhow suddenly i got a mail on thursday the third the fifth of august from freshworks asking me to represent them at the world financial innovation series 2021 and i said me the riyakari girl with a boutique cx company in a sector that is challenging to impact to the glory of god tuesday the 10th of august i moderated a conversation with bfsi executives from fcmb and uba nigeria stuart bank zimbabwe and the south african revenue service iria curry girl on the 29th of august i had the privilege of paying tithe to a value i've always dreamt of paying in u.s dollars today the 31st of august i received a call from my managing partners to say that a deal with the telecom company in lesotho has come through and they decided to pass it on to me to earn 10 percent commission in u.s dollars valued at exactly four times the value of the tithe i paid on sunday in fact er she writes i urge all to take the declarations from our pastor very seriously as god is indeed proving his word with evident manifestations and yes just to top it up some more fresh works announced on tuesday september 10th on linkedin that they have been voted up to number 10 in the forbes cloud 100 for 2021 i am happy to be chosen as representative of such an excellent brand in africa thank you pastor i'm grateful to god for you and for you my last testimony there are many more i only selected four good day pastor paul uh this is from real to me it's about his promotion when i moved back to nigeria from london in 2016 i was earning 30 000 naira per month which i thought to be absolutely ridiculous given that my part-time job as a data entry clerk in london i was earning 1 000 pounds per month at the time it was the value of 300 000 naira this to me was uh modern day slavery guys as national youth service corps as the amount barely paid for fuel for my commute to and from work and left left let alone my feeding bill since then i have received a series of promotions and increases but the major one to mention is that today i have just been promoted to manager at a big four firm which is no small feat this little 28 year old man has transformed so much in five years and i owe an incredible amount of this to my pastor and the consistent delivery in season or in season word of god from our pastor and glory belongs to my amazing god this also means that i have recorded a whopping 3 000 percent plus increase within that five-year period as it concerns my finances to top this all up in these five years i got married to the love of my life in 2018 secured my dream job at the aforementioned big four in 2019 and i am expecting by the grace of god my first child in september 2021 and the sky appears to only be the starting point for me glory to god god who did theirs for them he will also do yours for you go ahead put your hands together if you believe that and shout at the heavens and declare mine is already on the way to me we greet all our first time visitors if you're a first time visitor do stand for a moment or two um i normally do an first reading to romans 12 and verse 2. and i want to deal with mindsets this morning because the only resistance between the believer and the effecting of all the promises of god is a wrong mindset if you wrongly believe and have inaccurate doctrine you run the terrible risk of misaligning your mind with the promises purposes and power of god and as a result you can and often do miss out on what god has for you god yet in his infinite wisdom and his very calculated uh finished work of jesus christ made it possible that in all righteousness he can flow all his bounty blessings and benefits to you as the inheritance but if you're going to receive you have to renew your mind and make sure that it's not beleaguered by a mindset that most of us as christians in nigeria and in africa got guising us the gospel but was the exact opposite in many respects some of the finer details we've talked about for the last two three years and decided to also go to the ground and fix the ground of your hearts because no matter how good the seed is unless it falls into good ground it cannot bring forth fruit and if you've never been a part of the rooted in christ series and you're part of this house i encourage you that you must master every single one of those messages it will give you foundations it will build you up paul said in acts chapter 20 verse 32 i commend you to god he was leaving so his personal representation of the gospel was no longer going to be present to them he said but as i leave i commend you to god and to the word of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance amongst those who have been specially set apart chosen especially cold and set apart for god so it's critical that we get it right for example in hebrews 8 verse 12 and 13 it's not my text i just want to read that to you hebrews 8 verse 12 and 13. the writer writes and he says for i will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their iniquities will i remember no more verse 13 verse 13 and in that he saith a new covenant he has made the first oath once he said new that means the old has gone it's a different system now that which decays and waxes old is ready to be disposed of to vanish away we do not operate under the legal system of moses we have been set free from it and the bible tells us that that legal system or that covenant was grieving in stone and that it is an administration of death i do not want to be separate from god and i'm not ready to be separate from this body this one hallelujah and i'm not ready to be separate from you hallelujah you get that now that law is a system of sin and death the law of sin and death in other words if you sin you die and if you break one of the ten commandments you have committed violation to all because the ten commandments are not ten different commandments they are one composite and if you steal a lie you are guilty as a murderer that's tough that was hard yeah so today we will open up the book and we will learn it's going to challenge you further to take on a paradigm shift and see some things differently from how you've seen them before and if you see them differently you begin to think differently when you start thinking differently in in a place of accuracy you receive completely your life is going to change romans 12 verse 2 do stand for the reading of the word of god romans 12 verse 2 and be not conformed to this world but be transformed in other words don't take the form or the shape of this world but instead be transformed how so transformation metamorphosis takes place as a result of changing your mind changing your thought life renewing your thought life to be exactly like the thought life of christ by renewing your mind so that you may prove what is that good acceptable and perfect wheel of god that's not three different wheels it is one hallelujah and i want to prove that to you i think it's in the nlt he says don't copy the behavior and customs of this world but let god transform you into a new person by changing the way you think then you will learn to know god's will for you which is good and pleasing and perfect all at the same time good for him and for you pleasing to him and to you and perfect for him and for you with that in mind come with me to first john chapter 5 first john chapter 5 and verse 4. for whatsoever is born of god let's just do a check how many of you are born of god what that means is that when you were born the first time you were born wrong and sin were you shaping in iniquity did your mother conceive you i know she was a good woman but the moment you are born again you were made righteous let me just explain that i'm going to teach today if i wore my wife's bra and put a prosthetic in it shaved all the hair on my face wore lipstick eyelashes you know the ones that arrive five minutes before you get to where you're going and put on a nice blonde wig and some pumps and shaved my my hair on my legs and put some prosthetics here and created some eight figure form i would deceive you to think i'm a woman but it makes no difference to the fact that i am still 100 male man hallelujah because that is how i was made by tunji and hilda at the pharisee when they procreated me likewise as a descendant of adam in my first birth i was made a sinner i didn't have to do anything to become a sinner i was made a sinner and the bible tells us in paul's letter to the church at corinth that god made him who knew no sin who did not practice any sin becomes sin for us on the cross yeah that we might be made the righteousness of god in christ jesus so friend you did nothing to become the righteousness of god in christ except that you heard the gospel and you believed it and once you believed it whether you knew you were believing it or not you were made the righteousness of god in christ and at that point in time it introduced a conflict into your life because the things you used to do and get happy about it i call your friend up and brag to him or brag to her you feel awkward about now because a conflict a war has been been introduced into your thinking and sensitivities and maturity spiritually is as that conflict gets lesser and lesser and you become more comfortable controlling your flesh to ensure that it doesn't present you that conflict in a way that it captures you get it how many of you are the righteousness of god in christ and how many of you recognize nothing nobody can take that away from you but as righteous as you are in christ none of your doing how many of you are aware that sometimes you can feel like you are not the righteousness of god in christ something somebody said something you did wrong something you didn't do right and you feel a certain way it doesn't change the fact just like i can put on my wife's dress and weak and fingertips and hips it doesn't change the fact that i'm a male i was made that way and nobody cannot make what god has made so just accept it and tell three neighbors now be yourself that's who you are if you try to be a sinner you will feel uncomfortable so let's look at what first john 5 says for whatsoever is born of god overcomes conformity to the world con overcomes the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world what is that victory the faith the faith he's speaking about the faith the doctrine of christ the message of christ that's what he's speaking with this morning help me and tell four or five neighbors it's a fixed fight it's time to win the war in your mind hallelujah father bless your word it is already anointed uh but bless the speaker as you seize his thoughts make them nimble and agile to flow with the promptings of the spirit of god that deliverance will be mighty in every heart and in every life today and transformation will take place in the mind and it will follow soon thereafter in the heart and lives of your sons and your daughters we thank you for the supernatural might of the almighty god to confirm this word with signs and wonders following in jesus name and the people of god said a very big amen we are in a fierce warfare together we are in a battle to receive all the benefits intangible and tangible virtuous and veritable that god granted to us through the grant of the cross of calvary when i was a younger christian pastor gory day we we used to believe that our warfare was in the heavenlies erroneously so and we would look up to the heavenlies and begin to pull down strongholds as if we were pulling things down from the heavens nonsense complete nonsense uh we used to see uh principalities and powers in the heavenly sphere and we would see ourselves pulling them down nonsense the strongholds there or fortresses there have nothing to do with the heavenlies it has to do with the mind as a man thinketh in his heart so is he your thought life produces your reality in life how you think is what determines how your life will play out if you think poor you're going to be poor if you think rich you're going to be rich if you think godliness you will be godly if you think ungodly you will be ungodly if you think possibility thinking you you will enter into the impossible that what other men call impossible will be possible for you because by your thought life you have shifted from a realm where you understand that in your life certain things are impossible but how many of you know that god lives in the realm of the impossible in yesteryear the body of christ used to believe that the battle was in the heavenlies but that was wrong it was wrong believing the enemy no longer has authority over you friend your heavens are open you know i'm appalled that we still teach and pray that god will open your heavens and we quote psalm or rather isaiah 64 verse 1 if you haven't put it on the screen and we start crying out to god relate this application god ran the heavens whereas friends god will not rent the heavens because he already did two thousand years ago at the conception of christ the in the incarnate god god himself took a body for him it was written in the entire volume of the book that a body you have prepared for me in which to do your will or god at that point heaven moved to earth without leaving heaven that's why jesus could look at nicodemus and say nobody has ascended to heaven or come down from heaven except the son of man who is talking to you that is in heaven so the heavens were opened and it was for him so that through him we could benefit from the kingdom of heaven that was at hand what does that hand mean at hand means within reach that's what it means it's within reach it's all it means means it's here in other words friend heaven is in your life but to pluralize it the container that's the body that he got from mary that co that held the content which is the crystals the godhead the anointed the one smeared as god had to transfer from his container to this container you and me as individuals and you and me as an aggregated container the heavens are open you have easy access satan has no authority to play in that space except by deception and the only way he wins against you is through deception through a lack of knowledge my people perish isaiah 4 6 for a lack of knowledge so god is not about to open your heavens secondly if you are a believer you are already seated in heavenly places in christ we understand that from ephesians one verse three ephesians two verse six so there's no way you will catch at the pharah say pray god help me to make heaven otherwise i'm not convinced i am already seated there and who is seated there not my body but my spirit and it is there that i participate in christ's life but he's also seated in me where he participates in my life this is the joy of the christian life so you will never hear the philosophy pray father uh help me to make heaven i can never pray that prayer i'm not an unbeliever i'm a believer hallelujah my prayer is the opposite father bring heaven to earth don't bring me into heaven i'm already there otherwise if i start praying that bread means i don't believe some absolute fundamentals in our faith yeah so as we go further i hope you can take some of these paradigm shifts because i'm going to give you quite a few satan has lost his authority how the finished work of the cross jesus spoke about it in john chapter 12 i want to pick up the story from about verse 28. john 12 28 do put that on the screen for me from verse 28 one of the three times that god spoke from heaven was this instance and the master says to the father glorify thy name and there came a voice from heaven saying i have both glorified it and i will glorify it again verse 29 the people therefore that stood by and heard it said that it thundered others said an angel spake to him verse 30 and jesus answered and said this voice came not because of me but so you could believe for your sakes verse 31 where i want to speak now is the judgment of this world now shall the prince of this world be cast out what was he referring to the cross let's also deal with another scripture so he's about to be cast up by something jesus is about to do where on the cross verse 32. and if i be lifted up from the earth i will draw all men unto me in the original manuscripts mss the word men is not there king james wrong so properly and i if i be lifted up from the earth i will draw all unto me what is he talking about when he uses the word all he's referencing all judgment so that we as believers if you haven't been to finding the rock go you'll be taught that properly we do not go to the white throne judgment because our judgment day happened and fully expressed its wrath and judgment upon us in christ on the cross 2000 years ago i was completely judged i was completely condemned he took my death to give me his life he took my shame to give me his success he took my pain to give me his power he took my grave to give me his glory he took my place in the abyss of hades so he could give me his place at the right hand of glory in heavenly places it's important to grasp that so when we sing that song if i be lifted up from the earth i will draw men unto me leave jesus live jesus it is doctrinally errant it is wrong because the living up there has nothing to do with praise it has everything to do with being hung on the cross to the point of death please get that and he's saying if i am hung on the cross to take your judgment i will draw all judgment i will exhaust all the judgmental wrath of god right there on my body on the cross and when i do it i'm not doing it because i am worthy of judgment i'm doing it because i am unworthy of judgment but i'm taking your place as a substitute if you can't accept that christ took all your judgment you've missed the mark you need a mind shift you need a paradigm shift otherwise you will never approach the throne of god with all boldness because now what god has done he has made a righteous way to get all the blessings of abraham to you and i the gentiles hallelujah i'm excited you know why what's coming your way as you get this and i won't stop until you get it i want you to fall madly in love with the god who's madly in love with you do you start believing him and you start seeing him for the scale of his capacity the competence of his ability and you just relax in his love i want to go further first corinthians 15 56 remember that in john 12 31 he cast out the prince of this world so he no longer has the ability already the wherewithal the authority to vent on you first corinthians 15 56 the be clause the sting of death is sin what i'm interested in is the rest of the verse and the strength that word strength is dunamis the explosive power of sin is what the law sure schweppes the strength of sin is the law what does that mean the strength of sin the power of sin is the law what does he mean by that in other words what makes sin explode in your life is the law if i tell you that you must go out through the center aisle on your way home and there's a big pink elephant that weighs 40 tons on your left please don't look there just keep going straight what are you going to do when you get through that door you're going to look at the pink elephant god said to moses or to adam he said of all these lovely fruit trees in the garden there's one don't touch it which one did he go and touch first the bible says i would not have known sin except for the law the law is what revealed sin to you hallelujah you get it why was the law impotent to make man righteous why was it impotent to make man righteous the bible says in romans 8 3 that the law was weak through the flesh and so there forgive me romans 8 verse 3 and so therefore god condemned sin in his son for what the law could not do couldn't make man righteous in that it was weak through the flesh god sent his son in the likeness of our sinful flesh and for sin condemned his condemned sin in the flesh how did he condemn sin he took the law away because the law could not make you righteous does somebody have a tablet i have one what is the law what's the purpose of the law the purpose of the law is to reveal your sin nature from whence your sins come from the law is good it is perfect it is righteous it is holy but it does not have the ability to make anybody good perfect righteous or holy why because of the flesh the fallen nature of adam so when you look in the mirror it is not going to tell you that you are the fairest of 10 000. it will show you your acne your pimples your blemishes it will show you your age wrinkles as you get older you will understand that the mirror doesn't lie i'm talking about the law but how many of you know we have a new mirror we'll talk about that a bit later so when i see all the blemishes and the craw on my face i don't take the mirror and use it to cure or clear the disease it just shows me that i have a problem and that i need a savior when jesus encountered the rich young ruler the rich hungry said good master i said nobody is good except god why are you calling me good he said what must i do to inherit the kingdom of heaven luke chapter 18. and he said um to him go and keep all of the law he said oh that i have done excellently since i was young jesus said okay he listed about five he said okay go and keep all these laws justice about listed about five for him and the man went away sad why because the first commandment he could not keep why did he go away sad because jesus said to him go and give away all your money and then come and follow me and he went to his side because he had lots of money and his money was superior to his god the law the law that he held himself to was what jesus used to break him and to those who are hell-bent on the law we use the law to bring them to the end of themselves because this work of salvation is by grace through faith not of yourselves nor of your works lest any man should boast hallelujah so what did god do god took the law out of the way so that you would not be able to commit sin because there is no penal code anymore as it concerns you so old testament sin was violation of the penal code new testament sin is anything that does not proceed from faith paul said it is sin so under the law it is thou shalt do thou shalt do thou shalt do thou shalt do it causes you to focus on yourself yeah but grace causes you to focus on god and god says i will remember their sins and their iniquities no more i will be merciful to them grace constantly emphasizes on what god is doing what god has done because he takes the onus of you and the effort is on him hallelujah to god that means you can sit down so that christ can stand up in your life hallelujah grace emphasizes god emphasizes god so god took the law out of the way because who he said a different way who do you think would bring the law and start teaching it in church the only person that would bring the law to start teasing it in church would be the devil or the ignoramuses who are ignorant of the truth because if i push the law here what's it going to do it's going to cause sin to explode first corinthians 15 56 because it puts the onus on you and your effort which is all simply filthy rags in the sight of god hallelujah glory to god so look at it the bible says the strength of sin is the law we've read that already but go to romans 7 verse 7 in the new living translation romans 7 and verse 7 in the new living translation what shall we say then is the law of sin god forbid no i would have not known sin except by the law so what does the law do it reveals sin again he said it explodes sin gives you the pink elephant tells you not to look at it but that's exactly where you're going to look hallelujah had to go i'm not against the law i am for the law and i use the law for what god gave us the law for to reveal the fact that we cannot save ourselves and that in our sinful nature we are fallen beings therefore we need a savior now that we have the savior you've got to understand him correctly the law is satan's weapon it is the weapon of the accuser he has no basis of attacking or accusing you if he doesn't have a penal code but god has taken those handwritings and ordinances emanating from the law and the law itself out of the way so that the enemy no longer has a penal code to punish you because the penal code has been made obsolete it has been vanished it is no longer in use it is expired hallelujah to god hallelujah to god i'm going somewhere watch out watch out watch out and so the good news is that god has stripped the enemy and his heart from his arsenal of weapons where did he do it at the cross you're asking pastor prove it i'll prove it to you don't worry and what that did for you and i is it took the battle and the victory in the battle out of the realm of the physical and put it in the realm of faith so the battle is no longer yours the battle belongs to god and god has already finished the battle he's not going to get up the fight all he's going to make sure is that there are teachers who will teach you this truth till you get it hallelujah hallelujah the battle is no longer out there it is now in your mind do you believe what jesus accomplished on the cross do you believe what he accomplished but it is no longer yours it belongs to god but you still have a battle and that battle is to accept the victory that he won for you on the cross of calvary uh many thousands of years ago look with me at colossians chapter 2 i will pick it up from verse 13 we'll look at 14 and 15. colossians chapter 2 and you being dead in your sins that's before and the uncircumcision of your flesh has he made alive together with christ having forgiven you all trespasses past present and future verse 14. blotting out how did he do it he took away the penal code blotting out the handwriting and ordinances or of ordinances that were against us which were contrary to us and took what that whole volume took it out of the way nailing it to christ on the cross hallelujah so christ fulfilled the total expectation of the law and his 613 requirements fulfilled it all in other words sir he sat your exam for life passed it in flying colors and when they asked him to produce his id he produced you so you have top distinction first class opera [Applause] hallelujah and you did nothing to gain it he did everything and you believe that truth and you receive what we call saving grace the same way that you receive saving grace is how you receive healing grace increase grace prosperity grace wholeness grace marital grace relational grace parenting grace increased grace all the graces come exactly the same way hallelujah he took it out of the way go to verse 15. and having spoiled let's work the word spoiled that means to strip to disarm he disarmed principalities about what did he disarm them of the law if you have ccr looking for you what did they bring frcn could kama could and all the different codes that regulate your enterprise your business your ministry whatever it is you do they bring a code and they tell you you are guilty of code four one nine advance free advance fee fraud now if that code is taken away they have no basis for punishing you the code is what produces the crime he took the law away hallelujah you get it i hope you get it we're going somewhere i'm systematic in my ideology or my theology yeah we're going somewhere so having stripped the principalities and powers of the law he made a show of them openly triumphing over them in the cross he defeated them this is what jesus referred to in john chapter 12 31 when he said the prince of this world is cast out in other words what he used to use on us before he no longer has that arsenal or weaponry because god has stripped him from it in the person of christ hallelujah so that he could reconcile all men to god as many as would believe him already have that benefit so he did all this for osama bin laden he did all this for adolf hitler but the likelihood that they received it is very very unlikely because they they evidently didn't have faith in the finished work they believed another doctrine hallelujah can i go further so that was the end of the law hebrews makes it plain romans makes it plain paul taught that consistently everywhere that he went that was his gospel that was the end of the law as god's operating system for dealing with man and a new covenant was born at the cross let me help believers to understand something when you read the gospels matthew mark luke and john they are not the gospel in fact from genesis all the way to about exodus 14 mount sinai those are mostly grace covenants covenants with the grace of god even the law had grace because as he uh put forth the sacrifice or as he put forth the law he immediately put forth the sacrifice the whole tabernacle speaks of jesus christ you get it you have seven dispensational covenants i won't go into that detail uh this morning but what's important to grasp is that the law the law being taken out of the way by the finished work of the cross was a system by which satan had the right to accuse believers of what they were supposed to keep and the only way they could extricate themselves from that accusation was they would take a ram a burnt offering a turtledove or something and sacrifice it as their substitute and god did all that so that he would foreshadow his son becoming the ultimate sacrifice everything else pacified the wrath of god but the son himself coming to down the cross satisfied the wrath of god so god's wrath was completely exhausted he has no more judgment that remains for the believer you get it you get that give me back my scripture please so he took the law out of the way the law being out of the way the enemy has nothing with which to accuse you because all you do to him is point him to the cross where you already suffered the punishment glory to god so i want to show you something important some of the benefits that you get as a result of calvary's finished work romans 8 verse 1. the first thing he says is there is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in christ jesus after that coming there is nothing else in the original manuscript so there's no requirement for performance on your part just faith hallelujah if you don't believe me google search you will find that to be true let me preach no condemnation for a few moments condemnation is wicked it is dangerous it causes you stress anxiety and stress and anxiety are the basis of most psychosomatic illnesses when your body starts agreeing with your sense of condemnation what does it do to you it releases enzymes and hormones and all kinds of chemicals in your body that agree with you that you need to die and it starts the active aggressive process of degeneration that's why like what like cancer is actually called the cancer the anger of the bones arthritis sorry it's called the anger of the bones inflammation it has its root in many of these things and then the foods you want to eat when you are feeling condemned they also cause inflammation so it's a vicious cycle i won't go into that detail but it starts with condemnation then anxiety then stress then from stress it starts releasing all these enzymes in your body and your body starts to go into this whole thing the converse is true when you are happy and joyful you know the bible says laughter do it good like medicine because when you laugh and you're happy what happens your body releases enzymes that heal that's why it's great to worship it's great to give give glory it's great to be in a state of joy it's great to be around happy people not somebody who's always frowning at you and making you sad hallelujah because if you move into condemnation you you create for yourself a problem but the good news is that because of christ's finished work there's no more condemnation in your life even if you did something wrong hell has no right to condemn you now the self-writers will pride themselves that i never did anything wrong and they wonder why those whose righteousness is not their works but their christ go a lot further than them why because they operate in a condemnation free environment based on the finished work of the cross that's the first benefit you have no conflict the woman caught in the very act what did jesus say to her accuses nothing he knelt down in the ground and started to write on the stone of the tabernacle or the temple temple ground and they kept queering him and eventually stood up and he said he who has no sin let him cast the first stone what was he saying he was saying to them this simple reality very simple they came to try and catch him in a point of law and if he said hey stone her he would not be gracious he would not be salvation if he said don't stone her he will be guilty of violating the law so what did he do he put his hands in the dirt and made it clear i am not ashamed of handling dirt the dirt is the house where my people live we're made from that hallelujah he continued writing one by one from the oldest there's a reason why to the youngest they dropped their stones you know why because under the law if you are going to commit execution you had to be above the law that means you could not have somebody condemned for something you were guilty of so from the oldest meaning that you cannot get old without having a problem somewhere keep living if you're in your 20s there's a place called midlife midlife will show you some things can i get a witness hallelujah keep living you were laughing at the woman who had menopause keep living you're laughing at the old man who's been trying to have children all the way to his 60s none 70s none keep living you understand what he was suffering a worry man talks say person will never cross the river making no laughter could die when i was young i used to preach against people who didn't have wholeness or health now i'm not so fast because there's something called aging hallelujah to god can i get a witness from somebody think about it so if you haven't crossed the river if you haven't passed 40 50 60 don't laugh at an old man or don't scoff at him or scorn him to ridicule because you two will get there on the way there you don't know what will happen to you going they say in europe always that if you kick the stick the walking stick out of the hand of an old man you should not expect to get old some young men don't understand that i've reached some things that i accused other people of when i was a young man thinking that i would never get to their level but get old somebody's out there's no condemnation in my life so if there's no condemnation in your life why do you give it to others that is that what makes you feel good god has freed you up completely from condemnation and you are enjoying it yet you go and condemn others i would say let your speech be seasoned with grace so you can minister to your hearers condemnation is a wicked thing it is something the enemy has been stripped of but why do believers now give condemnation to believers why do we do that your job as a believer is to make sure that your fellow brother or sister is free from condemnation because their guilt was placed on christ what christ did is the heavy burden of guilt he took it from you so you can sleep easy so you can have boldness at his throne room so you can have bones that you are the righteousness of god and therefore you can be courageous and bold at what you do not based on your own effort but based on what he did at the cross of calvary that's right there for you in romans eight verse one romans eight verse two for the law this is a different principle of the spirit of life in christ jesus has made me free from the lord that brings condemnation the law of moses the law of sin and death what is that law it is the law of life in christ come again abraham so here's abraham prior to being in christ you see abraham he's there but once abraham is born again he is no longer in adam he is now in christ so when you look at him you see christ really what i'm trying to say is when god looks at abraham he sees christ not abraham when he looks at abraham he sees none of abraham's faults he only sees christ's righteousness so how does he treat abraham exactly how he treats christ what did he treat christ with when christ went to the grave he lifted him up and out of the grave didn't just resurrect him took him to the highest heaven i sat him in the place of superior authority and superior honor so that all of creation has to bow down and proclaim him lord of all hallelujah so abraham now has the blessing of god why because god does not see him he sees christ and god is so happy with christ that he kept saying it was he was in the incarnation but our father will make all your enemies your footstool what does that mean abraham that all your enemies because you are in christ just like christ will be made your footstool look at your neighbor and say come down god has it all in control now you are in christ they're governing principles for the law of moses but they're also governing principles for the law of the spirit of life in christ what is the main governing principle faith in the message of christ and what he has given you in christ and who you are in christ for example ephesians 1 3 blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ who has pastors blessed us pastors with all complete spiritual blessings where in the heavenly places where in christ but if you don't see yourself in christ you think wrongly you believe wrongly you accept what the enemy throws at you and you do not see yourself the way god sees you as a result you you allow the enemy to treat you as you whereas the enemy must treat you like christ if you believe it that's how he will treat you hallelujah how does the enemy treat trump street christ bible says he he quivers he trembles when you know who you are and is settled in your thought processes hell will dread you when you wake up in the morning straight to kutana hallelujah to god what was the third thing that you see there second is you were made free from the law of sin and death there are many believers in this room they are not free from the law of sin and death you know why they still operate a mindset based on the penal code god doesn't have any punishment for you anymore christ took all your judgment on the cross of calvary what god has for you is blessings goodness and even though you have some things going wrong in your life what does he say the goodness of god leads men to change their mind to repentance to come to the penthouse floor hallelujah what's the third thing that you see in thanks abraham what's the third thing that you see in romans 8 it's the third thing that you see in romans 8. give it to me please romans 8 verse 2 rock media please get on the ball romans 8 verse 2 has made me free from the law of sin and death so no condemnation you live in him hallelujah so what does this mean give me uh romans 8 16 and then uh verse 17 give me verse 17 now and if we are heirs if we are children then we are inheritors and heirs of god and joint ears with jesus christ if so be that we suffer with him then we will also be glorified with him by suffering there we went to hell when he went to hell we died when he died when he was raised up from the dead guess who was raised up you were raised when he ascended paul says it you ascended with him that means the fourth thing that you get is the inheritance you are ears of the world not by the righteousness of the law but by the righteousness of faith paul taught us that he was clear on it and that's where i want to begin to hang my nails this morning at the cross of calvary when jesus said finished he didn't say it is he said finished what it meant was that all of the father's work was settled and now his signature was properly applied to the document to transfer all the wealth of the almighty god to the seed of abraham who is christ in whom we are and whose we are friend you are living underneath your privilege you are living far beneath all that god has to and i do not speak only of the material i speak of the immaterial also the transfer to your account was enormous you know we write checks uh and we stopped writing them recently i still write checks and when you want to transfer real sums of money you know they bring these massive checks with five million dollars written on it nonsense that money did not move by attack when they left the stage they organized the wire transfer and pressed the button after they punched in some numbers and without the movement of bullion vans without the movement of police escorts to shift 5 billion invisibly all the wealth of the air of god himself jesus christ all his wealth transferred from the treasury in his accounting glory to your account in glory it moved now i once got a massive transfer when i was a young lad at school and i did not know it for almost a week because the bank sent me advice but i didn't receive the advice for almost a week but when i got the advice without anybody handing me cash i recognized that there had been a transfer under where i was not loaded before i am now loaded hallelujah without advice you can miss the mark because you are unaware of what you have until you get the advice paul's letters were advisories that's why he said i am praying for you that god will grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the son of god that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened to know what god was hoping for when he called you in other words what are you going to deliver there's a gentleman sitting here i won't point to him but we grew up at similar times and we came up at similar times and at that time he was working on the calling of his life what god was hoping for when god called him and at the same time god was working on me for what he was hoping for when he called me he's now sitting in what god was hoping for i have witnessed personally what god was hoping for when he called him so we have a deep amount of respect for each other's faith because when he would share with me his dream back in the day where he was going with it i would look at him like as if he was crazy and he would look at me like as if i was crazy but we ain't crazy now we ain't crazy now because we got the advice that what we were carrying on the inside even though your mother didn't believe it even though your father could not conceive it even though you yourself couldn't comprehend it even though those you told about it thought you had lost your mind the way joseph's brothers thought he was crazy you believed it you knew in whom you had believed and you were fully persuaded that he is able to keep to perform to do that which he committed into your hands so paul said not only will you know what god was hoping for when he called you but the riches of the glory of god's inheritance inside you god is going to inherit custodian insurance he can't take it with him house on the rock i can't take it with me god is the heir he inherits would never know it unless god reveals it to you all types of faith faith that transcends anything that anybody has precedented before in your family line your village your country or anywhere you will be my friend a pioneer that will do things in generations that have never seen it before in previous generations pipelines of god not just faith and wisdom knowledge and understanding the pipelines of joy joy that passes understanding so you could be going through hell and high water and yet you still feel happy here pipelines of happiness because happenings are going to start taking place in your life pipelines of peace that passes all understanding that when you should be pulling out your here and in an anxiety attack you're snoring at the bottom of the ship whilst everybody's for you so much that is for you so much that is yours but you're not even using your faith you're not asking me for anything you're not demanding much of me at all i didn't need to calm the storm you could have calmed it yourself where's your faith sit down i don't know why you're standing up your supplies are untold your supplies are untold paul said it our father even the father the lord has blessed us with all that doesn't mean some it doesn't mean most all if there's a spiritual blessing you have it and by the way spiritual blessings don't underestimate them because you cannot get a natural blessing without a spiritual blessing by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by what a spiritual blessing the word of god that was not the scripture because at the time of creation of the world there were no scriptures it was the spoken word of god so when god blesses you honorable he does it by speaking to you and when he speaks to you he infuses you with faith with wisdom with understanding with love with joy with kindness some of you today you will grasp the unthinkable love of god do you know how much god loves you do you have any idea of how profuse how large how much largesse is in that love that what you think he looks at he doesn't even mind sin is not in god's consideration with you he's confident that his love will perfect all that concerns you give me first you know who this christ is because you are amazed by this love my friend as he is so are you in this world your supplies are plentiful but the problem with supplies is you can't receive them standing what god is saying here is he's going to something i want you to have a quality life spirit soul body your meat your drink and your clothing your house your accommodation your transportation and it's declare in jesus name your supplies will not you turn your supplies will not be truncated your supplies will not be choked out by unbelief or wrong belief i declare your supplies will abound to you to happen to my life because you got fired from the job what's going to happen to my career because they laid you off from the company what's going to happen to my kids now that i can't pay the school fees what's going to happen to my future when i can't see any income for the last six months what's going to happen to my savings what's going to happen to my retirement fund how am i going to pay for this accommodation how am i going to sort my bills out look at proverbs chapter 4 verse 18 proverbs 4 verse 18. proverbs 4 18 he says but the path of the righteous that's not self-righteousness the path of the righteous is as the shining light it shines more and more and more and more and more onto the perfect day but satan wants to introduce a thought into your life that because of something that happened like the pit joseph or like potiphar's house yourself or like the false accusation of joseph to suggest to you that now you're going down no longer up the devil is a liar if you are the when did he answer he did not answer just before you prayed last week or did not answer three weeks before you prayed he answered when he finished creation on the seventh day the father settled every day not only the first six days of creation but every day in time until all time days months weeks moons years decades are consumed in eternity that day that god the father sat down he had finished all so today he had settled it before day it happened the next 10 years he had settled it before before christ was even incarnate christ only came to sign the document in a way you would understand it because he came to the law office you know the two persons in agreement they go to the law office and they sign in witness of each other and notary will stamp it jesus came to sign god came to sign to you he has already answered if you can never believe that to be the new covenant you've got it so faith does not your prayer does not move god your prayer moves your faith into position to receive what god released from before the foundation of the earth if you get that you're working in your mature understanding of who you are as a son of god and you and i will face challenges with this man there this man that place the challenges you will face in the ensuing year and the year afterwards in the economy in the security and with the corruption of this particular dispensation you will need to know god you need to know how he operates the people that do know their god they will be strong and they will do exploits so what others call challenges that defeat them we will see them as warfare in the heavenlies nothing to do with it he says for the weapons of our warfare primarily faith are not natural but they are mighty through god to the pulling down of strongholds where is that then he's descending in the order from strongholds to imaginations another version says arguments and casting down every high thing that exalts itself up against the knowledge of god so look at this this is god and he's visible but some things happen in your life some suggestions come from the enemy and those things become exalted to you he's almost eclipsed when the bible says it's impossible to eclipse god yeah then rock media don't close my bible that exalts itself against the knowledge that means the that's the word cognosis yeah the experiential knowledge of god where he's not a story you read is an experience you have against your experiential knowledge of god and bringing into captivity every thought every thought to the obedience of christ in other words to what christ accomplished when he was obedient to death on the cross what did that death that he was obedient to releasing your life let's build it from the ground up every thought that comes into your life you've got to hold it captive so that it obeys the obedience of christ through one man's disobedience death passed upon everybody yet through one man's righteous deed one man's obedience those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of christ gifts of grace shall reign in life through one christ jesus do you get it so what did his obedience give us it gave us the inheritance so you've got to bring your every thought to the obedience of christ make your thoughts line up with the message of christ if you don't what happens is that thought now grows and it becomes a high thing that begins to cover christ so you don't see him you don't see him for who he really is as the lover of your soul as the almighty and if you don't bring that thought captive it goes to a higher level of thought called imaginations or persuasive arguments and if you don't trap that thought it becomes a grip where you want to be free but you can't be free because it has a hold on your mind i was dating a young lady when i was a
