Hot Toys Back to the Future Part II 1/6 Delorean Time Machine Unboxing

how's it going everyone welcome to my unboxing of the 1 6 scale DeLorean time machine from hot toys I ordered this from Sideshow just arrived and I'm really excited to open this up here's a quick look at the top of the box up the Back to the Future Part Two logo you also have a clock face and if you look closely it's done in the style of a DeLorean wheel rim and on the outside perimeter there are it's a speed dial and there's a needle pointed at 88 for 88 miles per hour here's a look at the side of the box with the product image here's a look at the side of the box with the weight and product measurements the Box looks like it's in pretty good shape I always go slowly when I open up a package like this okay and let me turn this guy around so right when you open it you can see the image of the DeLorean logo lift this guy up there we are let's undo these straps on the inside is a photo of the vehicle and on the reverse are instructions here is base here is the flux band that will attach to the front and over here you have the flux bands for the side of the car and here's the Mr Fusion and clock here are the supports for the base when the car is in flight mode okay here we go whoa this looks amazing let's get it out of the box go Great Scott there it is this car looks phenomenal so let's take a closer look at the model before I start assembling everything uh you can see the ribbon bands that run alongside the car yeah this thing looks phenomenal there's the front DMC logo all the interior cabling on the dashboard this thing looks great and as we head back around to the rear of the car it's a 2015 license plate man this thing looks awesome the finish on the car looks just like stainless steel it's perfect even though it's made of plastic so I'm going to start by attaching the flux band along the bottom there we go there's the first one a little tricky there we go there's a second one the next I'm going to just start working my way towards the outside next I'm going to attach the wires next I'm going to attach the side flux bands to the car here's the one for the driver's side these snap into place fairly securely and now passenger side Force down the attachment at the top requires just a little bit of finessing there we go now the bands are lining up according to the instructions car has to be attached at these locations all right foreign this thing does not feel very stable but it is stand up there yeah Everything feels secure okay so here we go to get these wheels flipped into hover mode that was three clicks come out any further there we go pretty secure I don't see any cracks or anything so let's go on to bill number two okay I don't see any cracks or any part of the strut that's broken so two out of two so far as I'm pulling these wheels out it feels pretty smooth I'm not getting much resistance okay I think we're good here too all right final wheel foreign that felt really secure I think we have a winner everybody I don't know what hot toys did but they seemed to remedy the problem that was causing the broken axle with the first batches that were sent out because I gotta say all four tires I was cautious I was a little bit nervous about converting each wheel into hover mode but as I was doing it the struts just extended really smoothly and they rotated and locked into place really securely so I'm I'm extremely happy with this taking a close look at all four struts I don't see any cracks everything looks really good and here we are look at that it is beautiful looks capacitor in the back fluxing also got some other lights open the door get better Wikipedia on the side zoom in a little bit this looks great really does take a look all around the back press the power button once which just activates the brake lights and the headlights when you press the power button a second time it turns on the lights on the wheels got some Lids behind the seat there and the plutonium chamber time circuits all light up zoom in there look at that that looks great I'm gonna come around on this side there's the Dashboard Lights and the time circuits which light up okay so let's press the power button a second time to get the wheel lights to turn on oh my gosh oh this looks so cool look at the underside you got the green running lights let's take a look at the underside here the lights on all four wheel wells do turn on which I'm relieved about even the lights above the center console light up [Music] close these doors so there you go the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future Part Two as Doc Brown would say great Scott I think this car turned out really really well I am so relieved I didn't have any issues converting the wheels into hover mode I think hot toys must have done something to reinforce these struts although I'm not exactly sure what they did but I didn't have any issues with mine so I'm hoping moving forward anyone else who decides to purchase this in the future will not have an issue with their struts either so anyway thank you so much for checking out my unboxing video I am so happy this thing looks gorgeous so here's one last shot of the front of the car there you
