Horizon Zero Dawn : LukeFZ FSR 3 Frame Generation Mod + Lossless Scaling

in this video we will install Luke's FSR 3 mod along with lossless scaling into Horizon zero Dawn additionally I've created a Discord server to discuss issues and share files so in the future file links will be posted here you can join the server using the link provided in the video description if you encounter any difficulties joining feel free to comment here this is my first Discord server so there may be some complications as always I appreciate your support if you could help me reach 1K subscribers for April it would mean a lot let's proceed to the Discord server and download the necessary files using this link first there are some steps we need to take before applying the mod navigate to your documents folder if you haven't played the game before launch it once to generate this folder then open the saved games and locate the profile folder open this file and change the upscale method to off next do not use MSI After Burner as it may cause the game to crash at launch after that copy the upscaler files to the game application directory and then open the game here you can see my FPS without any upscaling and with the ultimate quality preset let's turn on dlss and see how it performs simply go to the settings and enable dlss setting the quality to Quality although I have plenty of FPS the UI glitching is unbearable you can choose to play the game without HUD if you prefer allowing you to enjoy the game at a higher FPS now let's explore how to use lossless scaling alongside dlss once again navigate to your game application location and open the toml file change the default value to this one this will disable frame generation but allow you to use dlss as usual then open lossless scaling and adjust the settings you don't need to cap your FPS in this version restart the lossless scaling app and minimize it then reopen the [Music] game as you can see I still have the dlss option but the frame generation is disabled before implementing lossless scaling ensure you've set the game to borderless mode in the settings do not use any screen capturing software when you use lossless scaling your game will feel choppy and stuttery then you can simply use the hot keys to activate lossless scaling you may notice a decrease in fps because it automatically caps the fps to half of your monitor's refresh rate however the game should feel smoother though not visible on YouTube there may still be some UI glitching albeit less severe than with Luke's frame generation additionally the input lag is not that [Music] bad that's it for today make sure to join the Discord server so we can discuss any issues further and as always remember to like And subscribe if you found this video helpful have a great day no turning back [Applause] they angry
