HONOR Magic6 Pro: Top 5 Software Features!

hello what's up guys it's Gary here and you're watching G4 Gadget honor is going to launch their 2024 Flagship smartphone in Malaysia very soon and I've had my hands on the honor magic 6 Pro for a while now now this is not a review but I would like to share about the magical experiences of using the honor magic 6 Pro which are some software features found in Magic OS 8.0 now without further Ado let's go firstly it is my favorite feature on the magic OS 8.0 which is Magic portal the magic portal is like an upgraded version of Samsung Galaxy AI Circle to search with magic portal when you long press an image and drag it to the site a portal of apps will appear for you to either paste it on Note send it out post it on social media or search it on Google Google for similar images or find out what it is about for text the same can be done with an extra feature to directly start navigating on Google Maps if the text selected is a location or an address the magic portal is such a cool feature and really convenient for you to search up for things or look for directions next up it is the magic capsule on H has moved the pel shaped front camera cut out from the top left corner on the magic 5 Pro to the center on the monor magic 6 Pro this enable honor to fully utilize this Notch cutout to display instant notifications like timer recording and music player the magic capsule can also stack the notifications then display all of them at once when pressed to take further actions Al although I'm not a fan of any form of notches but this one is smaller than the iPhone's Notch while being as useful or more some might say another feature found on the magic OS 8.0 is The Magic Lock Screen which is just a fancy name for customizable lock screen the clocks fonts and colors can be changed and honor also built in some lock screen styles with customizable pictures pattern and even colors while we're on this topic honor has added a new style of always on display which show full screen instead of partial it will show a dim version of your lock screen the customizable one which I have just demonstrated my second favorite feature of the honor magic 6 proos magic OS 8.0 is smart folder certain compatible apps can be draged into a folder which will include the app icon itself and other shortcut buttons available for instant access the smart folder can either take up two horizontal spaces to show three icons or four square spaces for four icons scroll to YouTube shorts or search for your favorite song on Spotify directly from your home screen with the shortcut key easily this kind of small features are easily ignored but very practical in day-to-day use lastly honor has introduced a new standby mode for the honor magic 6 Pro put the honor magic 6 Pro down on sides in a horizontal position to trigger standby mode which will display information like time date and battery percentage you can also opt for all day display while charging while wired or wirelessly sounds familiar and that is all the important software feature updates on the honor magic proos magic OS 8.0 which one is your favorite leave a comment down below and tell us about it my full review on this device will be coming real soon on this channel so don't forget to subscribe and hit the Bell icon so you won't miss it see you guys next time bye
