Good day to all of you! We will be making one of my best sellers before. And that is, homemade chicken tocino. We will be making two kinds. First is a kid's favorite, sweet chicken tocino. And second is our best-seller, sweet and spicy chicken tocino. This is best for mothers like me so we can have an instant dish and of course, you can make this your business. And for those who are already working, you can make this your sideline. And to our beloved OFWs, who I know misses the food from the Philippines, you can make this even if you are a far and you can also make this as your sideline. Watch until the end because we have a list of costing for us to know our capital, how much we can sell it, and how much is our possible income. So if you are interested in this video, join me as I make homemade chicken tocino. Tipid Tips Atbp Chicken Tocino Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Tocino We will be using chicken breast. This is 12 pieces. This weighs 4 and ¾ kilograms. Later, we will remove the bones. Or, for you not to have a hard time, you can ask in the market if they remove the bones. You can buy boneless already but it is quite expensive. So if it is for your business, It is better if you will be the one who will remove the bones so you can save money. 2 cups of white sugar. You can add more or lessen this. 4 teaspoon of paprika. 3 tablespoons of salt. You can also add more or lessen this. 2 cups of pineapple juice. For those who will be asking on what pineapple juice I used with the pork tocino, this is what I used as well. But any brand will do. 3 teaspoons of white pepper. But you can use black pepper. You can also add more or lessen this. 4 teaspoons of garlic powder You can use 2 cloves of garlic You just have to mash it for it to taste in the chicken tocino. 4 teaspoons of vinegar Any vinegar will do. 4 tablespoons of liquid seasoning. We used this in the pork tocino and chicken longganisa. The liquid seasoning I used is this one. We will also use chili powder. Later, I will tell you how many tablespoons I put. For the color of the chicken tocino, we will use atsuete (annatto seeds). I just placed 3 tablespoons of how water. And we will also use fresh chili. Let us just slice this into circles later. And we will include it in marinating. Now, let us start removing the bones of the chicken. I will not use gloves any more because we might cut ourselves. But I washed my hands. We will just remove the bones then we will slice it, wash it, and we will drain the chicken before we soak it. If they are removing the bones in the market, you can ask them to remove the bones for you. But the chicken meat is just soft, you can just remove the bones yourselves so you can remove the bone properly and the meat will not be wasted. We removed the bone already. And now, let's remove the skin. You can fry these. And the bones that were removed, if you are selling short orders, you can boil it and you will use that as chicken stock. Just store it in the refrigerator so that it will not spoil immediately. Then the next thing that we will do is we will now slice the chicken. We will now slice it. As you can see, it is just easy to debone a chicken. So if you are going to do this business, it is better if you buy it like this and you will just debone it yourselves because a boneless chicken like this in the supermarket costs 235 pesos. So if you are going to make this your business, buy the breast part of the chicken and debone it yourself. I only bought this chicken breast for 140 pesos in the market. You can save a lot of money. We will also debone the other chicken and slice it as well. So we will be back later. Now we are done deboning and slicing the chicken. We will now weigh the chicken since a while ago it is 4 and ¾ kilograms. Now we will weigh it for us to know what is the remaining weight. Then we just press "TARE" so it will go back to zero. Let us place all the chicken. We are now done weighing and the remaining chicken we have is 3.77 kilograms. When I asked the price of boneless chicken in the grocery, it costs 235 pesos per kilogram. This 3.77 kilograms, if we will multiply it by 235 pesos, we will buy this for 885.95 pesos. But since we bought chicken breast, and we were the one who deboned it, I only bought it for 140 pesos per kilogram. The 4 and ¾ kilograms, let's multiply it by 140 pesos per kilogram, I just bought this for 665 pesos. If we subtract those two, we were able to save up to 220.95 pesos. So it is better if you will buy chicken breast and you will be the one to debone it. Especially if you are going to make this your business. Let us now marinate the chicken since we have washed it already, and we drained it already, and it is ready to marinate. Now let's start marinating. We will now combine all the ingredients. Let's put in the sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder white pepper, vinegar, liquid seasoning, and for the color, atsuete (annatto seeds), let us just drain it, pineapple juice, We have placed all the ingredients. And now, we will just dissolve all these. When you know that you dissolved the sugar, salt, we can now place the chicken. I can already smell the deliciousness of the tocino. Okay. Let us place the chicken. And now, let us mix it properly. We are now done mixing it well. Let us marinate this for at least 1 hour. Let us store it in the refrigerator and we can sell this already. It is still better if you will marinate this for 24 hours. Let us place this in the refrigerator and after 1 hour, we will get back to it. Okay now, 1 hour has passed. Let us just remove the cover. Wow! Our tocino smells so good. The next thing that we will do is we will divide the chicken because we will be putting chili powder for the sweet and spicy tocino. I have two trays here. Then let us just divide this. We will also divide the marinate sauce. We divided the chicken tocino already. This is our sweet chicken tocino and this is where we will add chili powder. This is the chili I showed earlier. I already cut it. Let us just add it. I will now put 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Let us mix it. You may choose not putting chili powder or you can just put chili. But since I have a stock here at home, I will include it already. Wow! With just the smell, the chicken tocino makes me hungry already. We are done mixing this well. The next thing that we will do is I will teach you how we can sell it. We will do one method on how we can sell the tocino. Just imagine you are already in front of your house, you have your table, when you have marinated this after 1 hour, you can now sell these in front of your house. This is how you will do it. Just like this, it is placed in a tray. Then we have a label there. This is our sweet chicken spicy tocino. And this is our sweet chicken tocino. So that our product is nice to look at. You can now sell the pork tocino as well, so they have variations to choose from. Just imagine, while you are just at home, in front of your house, you can already earn. The materials we need, we need kitchen thongs. Each tray should have a kitchen thong so that our products are cleaner to look at. Of course, weighing scale. It is better for you to use a digital weighing scale so that it will be easier for you to price and weigh it. Just like what we used earlier. But unfortunately, it has to be charged first so this is what I showed you. And of course, you need a plastic bag for repacking. Just like this. If you are going to use this, it is better for you to buy in rolls than the pre-cut ones because this is cheaper and it is not messy. For example, someone is buying, just cut it then you can let them choose what they will buy. You just have to weigh it. You just have to put a price on it. So later, we will do the costing at the same time so that we just have to do the costing once. I will just give a slight idea on how you can sell this tocino. Or you can use this thicker plastic and seal it with a sealer since it is just quick to use a sealer. So that we can sell properly in front of our house. One tip if you will do this way of selling the tocino, your place should always be clean so flies won't flock because it can't be avoided that when someone buys from you, it will drip, you should wipe it off immediately. Then this tocino, it should have a cover. And of course, your surrounding, even if you are just in front of your house, it should be clean so that flies won't flock in your store. I know someone who sells products like these, ready to fry food, like this tocino, embutido, tapa and barbeque. Those are just placed in a tray and it is very popular, especially in the afternoon. So this, even just in front of your house, you will have a business already as long as you will take care of your products, and you are consistent in selling, you will surely earn. Just like what I always mention, if someone brought from you, they will be the one to advertise that there are delicious products there, delicious food, or a delicious tocino in that store and people will surely go to your store. Now, I will show you the second method on how you sell these. It is what we call repacking. So now we will start. Now we will use a weighing scale. Just like our previous video of pork tocino, we will again weigh 200 grams and 400 grams. So now, we will start repacking. Let's start with the 200 grams. The tocino smells good. It makes me hungry. You will surely like this too. When you are done weighing it for 200 grams, you will just put some marinate sauce so that the tocino keeps marinating. 1 spoon is enough. If you are going to do this method in selling, you can repack this in 200 grams, 250 grams, 500 grams, or 1 kilogram. It depends on your repacking method. But the first method we showed you, you can sell that at any weight. The amount they will get, you will just price it. Let me just repack everything. We will be back later. This is our 400 grams. We will now repack this sweet and spicy chicken tocino. But we will use a different plastic for this. We will use this. Just like what I said earlier, it is a cheaper option if you will buy in rolls. So for this plastic for the vacuum sealer, it will still be cheaper if you buy it in rolls, compared to the pre-cut. You can buy this online for 200+ pesos. We have a previous video about the store where I buy plastic, but I don't know if they have like this or not since with everything that is happening now, we cannot go out. This is our tag. Tipid Tips Atbp. Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tocino. And it already has a contact number if someone will order or resell. That is important. It is rolled like this then I just cut it like this. And now, we will now repack. One piece of 200 grams and one piece of 400 grams. We will now repack 400 grams. Okay, we are done repacking. Now, what we will do is to seal. We are now done repacking and we were able to produce, in our sweet chicken tocino, we were able to produce 2 pieces of 400 grams, six pieces of 200 grams, and we have one piece of 100 grams. For the sweet and spicy, since we divided it evenly, we also have two pieces of 400 grams, and six pieces of 200 grams, and one piece of 100 grams. Since we used a vacuum sealer in our pork tocino, many asked there what if they have no vacuum sealer, what will they use? So now, we will seal in three ways. First is using a candle, second is the one we always use, an ordinary sealer, and third is our vacuum sealer. But if you are just starting, opt for the cheaper alternative first. And when you are already earning, then invest in this when you already earned. So now, let us start sealing. Let us start with this thick ordinary plastic. Let us first use this candle. If you don't have the money to buy a sealer yet, you can use this instead especially if you are just starting. Fold it properly then press it with your fingernail so it will flatten and we will not have difficulty sealing it with a candle. When I was selling this before, when I was just starting, I really started by sealing using a candle. So it is ok if you don't have a sealer yet. You can use a candle. You just have to persevere and be patient. They you will just burn this carefully. There, if you can handle the heat with your hands, press it so it will stick properly. We are done sealing one already. Once we seal, we will put a label already so we can work continuously. We will just seal it again with the candle so that the label won't fall off. Since the plastic is quite long, we will just cut it off so that our tocino will not look messy. We are done with one. And we just used a candle for this. The next sealer that we will use is the ordinary one. Then we will again put a label. Let us cut the excess again. Let us seal all of this first and we will be back later. And here, we will use a vacuum sealer. So we can see the difference of the two. This was sealed with a vacuum sealer and this is sealed with an ordinary sealer. I just showed you the difference. We will now cook so we know if the chicken tocino is delicious. We will cook 2 kinds, the one is spicy, and the other is sweet chicken tocino. It is just quick to cook tocino. Let's put some water. Let's spread it evenly so that it can cook quickly. Then let us also put a little oil. Let's wait for it to dry up and cook. That is what happened. When you know that the tocino is nearly cooked, don't leave it anymore. So that it won't burn like that. Fortunately, only the sides were burned. But that will still do. Let us just flip it. Our chicken tocino is cooked and we will now remove it from the fire. Okay, let us just wait for it to cool. We will just taste the chicken tocino real quick since we will be really working on the costing because we made two flavors. So now, let's start. This is the sweet chicken tocino and this is the spicy chicken tocino. They just taste the same But let's taste them both. This is the spicy-flavored. You will surely like these chicken tocino as well just like the pork tocino which is very delicious. I will not be embarrassed to you too because this chicken tocino is very delicious too. The recipe for this is balanced. The saltiness and sweetness is very balanced. For the sweet chicken tocino, your kids will surely like it. And for this spicy, for those who like spicy foods, you will surely like this. And if you still like a spicier one, you can still add more chili. For those who think that these are too much since this is almost 4 kilograms, if you will only make 1 kilogram, you will just half all our ingredients and you can make a delicious tocino too. And now we will do the costing so that we know how much is our capital, how much we can sell it, and how much is our possible income. And now let us start our costing. Let's start with the chicken, 665 pesos. Sugar, 20 pesos. Pineapple juice, 40 pesos. Salt and vinegar, let us just price it at 10 pesos. Liquid seasoning and paprika, let us just price it at 16 pesos. White pepper, garlic powder and atsuete (annatto seeds), let us just price it at 24 pesos. So the total capital for the ingredients is 775 pesos. Now let us add 30 pesos for the labor since we marinated it for just a short while. So the total capital is 805 pesos. Let us divide 805 pesos into 2. That is our sweet chicken tocino and the other is sweet and spicy, since we divided it equally. So the capital for each is 402.50 pesos. Let us just round it to 403 pesos so we will not have a hard time calculating. The first thing we will calculate is the first method we showed that you can sell it already after you marinated it, you can sell it in front of your house already. Let's start with the sweet chicken tocino. The 403 pesos we calculated earlier, we will just add 10 pesos for the plastic since this is just cheap. And let's also add 50 pesos for the labor. A while ago, we already have a labor for marinating, but we will still add 50 pesos for selling this in front of your house. So the total capital is 463 pesos. We will divide it by 21 pieces of 100 grams because when I weighed this it is 2 kilograms and 100 grams (2.1 kilograms). That results to a capital of 22.04 pesos per 100 grams. You can sell the displayed tocino for 35 pesos per 100 grams. For example, you have sold all the displayed tocino, 2 kilograms and 100 grams (2.1 kilograms), you will earn 735 pesos. Subtract the capital of 463 pesos. We will possibly earn 272 pesos. We will now calculate the displayed sweet and spicy chicken tocino. Our capital worth 463 pesos, let us just add 20 pesos for the chili and chili powder since the plastic is already included there and the labor as well. So the total capital is 483 pesos. Now let's divide it by 21 pieces of 100 grams. Since we were able to weigh this at 2 kilograms and 100 grams (2.1 kilograms). That will result in 23 pesos capital per 100 grams. You can sell this for 35 to 40 pesos. But here in our place, I will price this at 40 pesos. If you will sell all these, you can possibly earn 840 pesos. Now let's deduct our capital worth 483 pesos. Therefore, we will still earn 357 pesos. Let's add our earning from the sweet chicken tocino worth 272 pesos. So our total earning for the displayed chicken tocino is 629 pesos. You will earn this when you sold all more than 4 kilograms. For example, you are consistent in selling these displayed chicken tocino, Let's multiply 629 pesos by 30 days. So we can possibly earn 18,870 pesos. You can possibly earn this within one month. That is if you are going to sell this every day in front of your house. It is easy to sell this chicken tocino because I already tried and tested this product. It is not impossible for you to earn 18,870 pesos as long as you will include hard work, perseverance and some strategy. Now, we will calculate the second method on how we can sell our chicken tocino. We will now calculate the repacked product. Let us start calculating the repacked products. Let us start again with the sweet chicken tocino. I will not elaborate it one by one anymore so that the costing will not take quite long Let's start with the 403 pesos earlier. Let us add 25 pesos for the plastic we used. Let us also add 50 pesos for vacuum sealing and for storing it in the refrigerator. Let us also add 30 pesos for the labor. So the total capital is 508 pesos. Let us divide it by 21 pieces of 100 grams just like earlier. So our capital for every 100 grams is 24.19 pesos. That is our capital for every 100 grams. You can sell this for 35 to 40 pesos. But that still depends on your location. This costing that we are making is applicable in our location. So this 100 grams, I will price this for 40 pesos. So we can earn 40 pesos from this. Now we will calculate this 200 grams. Our capital of 24.19 pesos, we will multiply it by 2 since this is 200 grams. 48.38 pesos is our capital for these 200 grams. You can sell these for 70 to 80 pesos depending on your location. But here in our location, I sell these for 80 pesos. Let's multiply 80 pesos by six since we were able to make six-packs of these. So we will earn 480 pesos. Now we will calculate the 400 grams. Our capital of 24.19 pesos per 100 grams, let's multiply it by 4. So the capital for this 400 grams is 96.76 pesos. You can sell this for 150 to 160 pesos. Here in our area, I am selling these for 160 pesos. We were able to make two packs. So we can earn 320 pesos. So the total earnings we have in our sweet chicken tocino is 840 pesos. The 840 pesos, let us deduct our capital of 508 pesos. So we will still earn 332 pesos. Now we will calculate the sweet and spicy tocino. Let's start with our capital of 508 pesos earlier. Let us just add 20 pesos for the chili and chili powder. So our total capital is 528 pesos. That is our capital for the sweet and spicy chicken tocino. Let us divide it again by 21 pieces of 100 grams. So our capital for every 100 grams is 25.14 pesos. That is our capital for every 100 grams of sweet and spicy chicken tocino. Let's start with this 100 grams. You can sell this for 40 to 45 pesos. Here in our area, I can sell this for 45 pesos per 100 grams. So we can sell this for 45 pesos. Now let's calculate the 200 grams. Our capital of 25.14 pesos, let's multiply that by 2 for this 200 grams. So our capital for this 200 grams is 50.28 pesos. You can sell this for 80 to 100 pesos. I will price this at 90 pesos here in our area. We were able to make 6 packs therefore, we can earn 540 pesos from this. Now let us calculate the 400 grams. Our capital of 25.14 pesos per 100 grams, let's multiply it by 4. So our capital for this 400 grams is 100.56 pesos. You can sell this for 160 to 200 pesos. But here in our area, I will price this for 180 pesos. We were able to make 2 packs. So we will earn 360 pesos. So the total earnings for the sweet and spicy is 945 pesos. Let us subtract the 528 pesos capital. So we will earn 417 pesos for the sweet and spicy. For this sweet and spicy, we can earn 417 pesos. And for the sweet chicken tocino, we will earn 332 pesos. Now let's add these. So our total earning is 749 pesos. For example, you are consistent in selling, and you are able to sell everything every day, let's multiply the 749 pesos by 30 days. So you can possibly earn 22,470 pesos. That is your possible earning within 1 month. As long as you are consistent in selling and you will include some perseverance, strategy, you will surely earn. This is all your income. We have deducted all the expenses. There is already labor and electricity. This is all your income already. Our tocino is easy because we will just marinate it. For example, the one I showed earlier when you marinated it, you can already sell it in front of your house. Or the second method we showed where we repacked. It will be up to you on what method you will use between the two. You will surely earn every day. For those who will be asking for the shelf life of the tocino, it can last up to 2 months as long as it is in the freezer since we do not put any preservatives in the tocino. Just like our previous video on pork tocino, you can brag our products because we are not using any preservatives.
