[Music] as we gather in this place today holy spirit come and have your way your way as we lay aside our own desire sweep across our hearts with holy fire [Music] this [Music] the name of the father under the sun under the holy spirit amen the grace of our lord jesus christ and the love of god and the communion of the holy spirit be with you all and with your spirit my dear friends that let us offer this eucharist of thanksgiving in a worthy manner because the lord has given us a time for our personal sanctification and prayer in today's gospel we see an invitation of jesus to follow him by receiving the invitation of jesus levy followed jesus and he became the apostle of christ and jesus is telling he has come to call everyone to repentance so this season is given to us for our own sanctification and repentance let us make use of this time in a fruitful manner let us acknowledge our sins also prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries i confess to almighty god and to you my brothers and sisters that i have greatly sinned in my thoughts and my words in what i have done and what they have failed to do through my fault through my fault through my most grievous fault table with him and the pharisees and the scribes grumbled at his disciples saying why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners and jesus answered them those who are well have no need of a blood of christ we may be gathered into one by the holy spirit remember lord your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity together with the francis our pope and our bishops and all the clergy remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who are adenomasy welcome them in the light of your face have mercy on to you we pray that through the precious and holy blood of the lamb shared on the cross this pandemic may stop we make this prayer through christ our lord amen [Music] let us pray nourished with the
