Hitting The Amethyst Motherlode | Purple Heart Mine | Part 3

here we are it's about 96 97 degrees in South Carolina today see that our veins right there there's a marker that we put here on our last dig down in there let's go check this thing out and see what we got maybe we'll have some crystals so there's a marker our vein was coming up through here look at that right there right there and we're pulling amethyst check this one out it's loose pretty sure it's gonna have a point oh yeah oh there it is alright here we are buster they're all coming out we popped this big rock off and there's just a line of these clusters in the backside of it sounds like a nice class yeah that's all drusy amethyst I just found this awesome piece it's still embedded in the original dirt did it so we're gonna take this out watch your head down there Thomas I don't want to rain dirt on you there say Rain Purple Rain this is good okay this might be pretty good here let's let me set this down okay the Peace of the dead guys oh look at that oh oh my gosh that is the peace of the day oh there's a big aim of this crystal about to come out right there just pull this out right in front of it oh just crazy right out of there check out what's behind it let's see what this thing will do [Music] [Applause] [Music] that dark we go pulling another crystal out I don't know if it's gonna be any good or not but it's loose and it feels like it might be have a point on the other side of it [Music] it's kind of a weird shape oh man whoo this whole vein should have crystals all in it buster bringing up the last crystal of the day nice little light amethyst with red hematite inclusions we're gonna go in take a break come back do a little night digging later on so here we are decided to do a little afternoon/evening digging because it's so hot during the daytime and stumbled across this little vein here check it out I've already pulled out a few crystals look at that here it is just a bit wiped down really nice deep saturated purple color in this cluster about this crazy dark crystal but these are coming out in slivers really really odd so I'm pulling them out of the vein here so we're pulling these crystals out of the wall and they're kind of flat they're not tabbies they're just pieces I don't know if the piece exploded at one time or what look at that look at that color that it's just crazy pull this thing out of here and see it's got a big face oh yeah oh look it's just coming up clean [Music] check out these amethyst and the color this is one crystal that had burst in the pocket but the color is just amazing Wow think there's any more at it without this nice dark amethyst it's got like a lot of step downs ome so it's super hot today like 95 degrees super humid here in South Carolina and we had to do what we had to do to keep cool check it out so through the top up and we had the generator running anyway so decided to go Walmart purchase a cheap air conditioners pull it off so we've got this thing here Famulus that look at that crystal there it is this piece having extraordinary color luster Jim quality and the crazy thing is it came right out of the center of the pocket there you couldn't even see it till later on when we got home I started cleaning the pieces up so we were taking a little bit of this really hard material from around the top and we've got some newspaper covering a superb amethyst crystal there Oh a little bit of work right there but let's get her done all right here we go this is it [Music] okay try to leave this here because that's really cool to have that matrix there I think that Wow what just a bit wiped down awesome color you can see the purple grape juice looking another large crazy one came out right behind that one that's an energy time for a night dig so this pocket is huge you've got amethyst crystals bubbling out in here coming down looks like a face look at that coming down opening up huge here still going here but there's just endless crystals bigger than my hand all in here this could be one piece I mean look at that great color just wild what happened did to dig at night because it's just too hot during the day check out all these crazy amethyst from this pocket I actually have to dig them at night because it's so hot right now during the summer that if they have being watering them they'll burst even here at midnight look at that condensation if you can see that on that crystal it's kind of warm here so a huge pile amethyst and then check this out oh and this is the big one and just leaving all this dirt on because there's crystals alderney --the this thing I can't even turn it I bet it's 50 pounds because crystals all underneath it this facing is gonna be great huge amethyst look at that flawless inside so just pull this one out really interesting I've got some cool formations pretty good size and then you flip it over what super dark amethyst alright this could be really really nice if it's kind of point down here let's see what we got here it's loose oh not bad it's got a leer weirdness to it look at that color what just chillin dude in it just put out this huge wok piece right there I don't know if it's aw 50 pounds 60 pound cluster the vane still going leanness just crazy Park is still going who knows how much more is just getting bigger oh this one's gonna be super nice when cleaned up Wow so here we've got this crazy pocket just going everywhere it's huge I mean that's quite a putting the Hat right there and there's just crystals pointing out everywhere let's see if we can pop one out here this might be one big gnarly so that is an amethyst cluster right there and it's about a hundred pounds it's early early morning we pull this thing out let's just show you what we're looking at so far it's just huge points facing down bigger than my fist so we'll see what happens there here we go there it is huge amethyst cluster look at that wrap around like a big flaming disc that that's all purple it looks black it's so Jimmy and dark [Music] [Music] solid wild-looking stuff dark dark amethyst still coming out so I'm walking down the trail back to the site to go dig some more crystals Thomas here is stuck in the road apparently he's going after a crystal here huh look at that Wow I don't think that did that's too deep you know what wow that's a single crystal it's huge lighting here look at that he was about to get out of here and leave what five minutes away from from from leaving and going home boom cleaning up all this amethyst from the last couple of weeks we've got low to medium grade stuff still here on the ground we've got the 150 pound cluster here that's halfway cleaned up all that stuff needs to be clean all that stuff needs to be cleaned it needs to be cleaned what you're looking at is an excellent phenomenal piece it actually came out of the center of the 150 pound cluster that you just seen in the wheelbarrow that's right there was water and other things trapped in the center and all in between the pea is letting these faces and these points form inside the boater I couldn't even believe it myself this one also came out of the boulder has a little bit of natural iridescent color on it you see that right there super cool and this one's also super Jimmy check out the coloring what a fantastic find [Music] another piece out of the boulder several large chunks like this that had awesome edgings and a lot of small jimmy points came out of this 150 pound Boulder so in the future I'll be sure to break open the boat or look at this one whoa so Jimmy so awesome just precious twins amethyst twins [Music] here's one of the honkers that's just half cleaned up look at that thing huge purple going all throughout the piece there's some really good points here on the back of it look at that look at that and here we go the high-end table they are just pieces left and right here that are just phenomenal this floater piece with hematite all throughout these are like double terminated points form together look how much hematite sand that one tip is looks red [Music] had a water bubble in hydro it moves a little bit see it right in the center of the screen they're super cool when they do that the water the air and the amethyst is all around 350 million years old here's a couple of super zoned purple colored amethyst points likely coming out very close together
