Hilarious Salutatorian Speech

in the fall Brandon is just a great guy and friend and I'm gonna really miss him next year so without further ado the class 2010 salutatorian good morning friends family faculty friends of family friends of friends of things family of friends friends and faculty family of faculty friends of family friends friends and pretty much anybody else who decided to show up to bid the class in 2010 farewell from Catskill high school this morning I wanted to make sure I greeted each and every one of you because in essence you all are what shaped and molded to create a pool of youth we have before us today without you our family our friends and faculty or the community of Catskill none of this would be at all possible you made us who we are today and you have made us who we are not and to everyone here especially my parents grandparents and my personal family on behalf of the class of 2010 and to my fellow graduates thank you anyway as Adam so nicely put it I'm the salutatorian of the class of 2010 never before my life have received such a prestigious honor that includes such merits as a privilege to write an extra homework assignment and to then read a cover plate in front of a crowd of 500 people but when I began to write this speech in true senioritis fashion on the car ride over here I began that you want not as a duty but as a blessing in disguise I mean let's face it what other chance of my life could I have to talk about anything I wanted with a painstakingly long speech at first I thought that possibly I should argue the reasons why the name of the school should be changed to the Brendon dolt Institute for the future leaders of America over when I was informed that wouldn't be getting my diploma until after this ceremony I decided to take a different since we entered the doors of Catskill High School there was always something different about the class of 2010 well it may not have been the most studious group of students to walk this stage one thing this class here that cannot be replicated an exhibition of passion and exuberance for the magical events of light as well as a commitment and dedication to having fun and following our bliss are among the characteristics that have defined this class for the past 12 years from our last is a blast rally call for our valiant attempts of losing spirit games to walking down the halls to such familiar work Rises meet and walk in our class has always been the one that didn't like countless hours of school work slow down the party of life and although the work flow tended to be excessive at times as exemplified by my personal best of a 10 hour study for the Advanced Placement European history test as a reminisce upon this time in place I realized one thing we're all going to look back and miss easier someday it may take 10 20 or even 50 years but eventually someday the memories laughter sweat tears and even the occasional bloodshed and the halls of this school will bring a smile or possibly even a tear to some of the most callous graduates among us high school is like a lollipop it looks sweet from the outside takes forever to get through after many types of looking at it sucks until the end but overall you'll miss it when it's gone however today is not the day to be said by the conclusion good days gone by it is the day to be enthralled mystified by the unlimited potential in the futures of the 120 graduates we have among us today life is full of hope and promise with this group of people all of them individualistic free thinkers with a world at their fingertips waiting to be grass my advice you all as a class is a tad generic but should be taken to heart stand up for what you believe in even if you're the only one it only takes one person to change the world leave your mark wherever you go even if that mark be placed upon the road less traveled and most importantly don't sweat the small stuff do as you please because having fun is the most important thing in life after all nobody makes it out alive anyways so you may as well have fun being at we were put it here on this earth that for a long time we're put here to have a good time and finally in the words of my grandfather remember this God has given us all two ends one to think with and the other to sit on our success in life depends on which end we use the most heads you win tails you you Brandon you typical
