Salutatorian Speech - "We Have A Fire Within Us."

to friends family faculty esteemed dignitaries the christopher's and my fellow students thank you for allowing me to speak before you today first and foremost I would like to extend my congratulations to the best-looking class christopher has ever known you are the first in your family to graduate I stay for some you are the first to go on to college and for others you are following your parents footsteps and pursue of your dreams of a higher education whatever category you happen to fall into our accomplishments are a Marco burglar and although today marks a very significant moment in our life I believe we have nearly scratched the surface of our potential during our time in school we have lived life with the degree of certainty we have known that we've had school Monday through Friday and that we need to change seniors do today - after AP testament yet outside of these buildings the world is full of false guarantees one of these being life itself whether it is the loss of a pier or the loss of a loved one many of us have experienced this uncertainty first Rand we aren't guaranteed tomorrow but what do you do with this understanding when my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of gastric cancer you I saw the strength and resiliency from my mother within each one of us class of 2016 we possess some of the strongest will powers and fullest parts I have ever come across some of us in our short four years here have thought depression have battled and overcome hardships against all odds and had become open about our true selves on the sphere of bullying and retribution your personal stories have inspired me to believe that every one of us is capable of greatness regardless of the cards we are dealt as we chase our dreams there will be fear frustration and failure there is no doubt about that but the cost of which of these falls away in the face of death understanding how short life is will remind us that there is no reason not to follow our partner and when these struggles emerge we must remind ourselves this we are powerful we are not a drop in ocean but an ocean within a drop we are limitless in nature our soul our personality are entirely our own there is a purpose to that madness we have a fire within us that will ignite around us what is within us is meant to be shared with the world our achievements will inspire our advancements it will change lives and our souls will spark the fire with another we matter to this world and one day the world will thank us for our contributions but remember as we reached our dreams do not step on to others to get to where you want to be but allow others to lift you there climb the mountain of life not to plant your flag but Jim's race they find itself enjoy the air and feel the breeze climate so you can see the world not so the world can see you class of 2016 congratulations
