all right so another thing I've been wanting to do is I I'm planning on going to a couple of high density uh high traffic airports or you know class Bravo wherever uh like Charlotte coming up and the Chicago Midway and uh I'm just curious I've been wanting to know if they say hey keep your best speed up until five mile final and what would that be of course I'll preface this was saying don't let ATC rush you if you need to do 80 knots 280 knots or whatever they'll make space for you but I kind of you know uh just curious you know like if I don't want to be a pain in their butt and uh you know they've got a lot faster traffic you know than I am coming in there uh what can I do if I could do you know basically you know level here at Cruz at low altitude 130ish knots how long can you keep that speed up on Final I want to find out let's say they say hey maintain 130 knots to a two mile final let's see if I can do that decelerating at 130 knots descending on the Glide path if I maintain 132 mile final can I decelerate and configure and land stabilize all right Glide path is active West Georgia three five West Georgia Carrollton all right now it's descending down the path so I'll slow down under Sky Lane 619 when Alpha is taking the active Runway three five for a media departure VFR left turnout all right 139 knots indicated descending on the Glide path take another 650 feet per minute descent rate a little bumpy down here but I'm in the green Arc what's your traffic swing one off the mic six mile final Arnav three five West Georgia Carrollton from West Georgia November 619 when Alpha is a left turnout departing the pattern westbound and West Georgia traffic selling one three x-rays departing Runway three five it's gonna be a Northeast Park West Georgia all right coming down keeping my 130-ish knots 2000 AGL now or five mile final and when it says two miles I'm here I'm gonna pull it back to idle and if it slows up enough to get configured I think it will be able to do that with no problem voice record traffic explain one off the mic three mile final three five West Georgia Carrollton all right three miles 130 knots waiting for two miles here hopefully that's accurate it's supposed to be off the Runway just to have the approach in there two miles coming to idle go flat on the pitch on the prop hets one mile final perhaps the pumps are set then slowing on the Glide path it's gonna be easy I can put flapsing I still got my I'm on more mile final it's much smoother here than Paulding County below the Glide path now back spoke too soon about it being smooth no he's I think I could do 130 to one mile final even all right let's see if it's possible for me to maintain 130 knots till it's till a one mile final and still configure and land all right so basically zero seven zero to join the Final Approach fix Ed here the rnf one zero maintain 130 knots to a one mile final our approach all right we're joining the final project we're joining the uh bypass stock market I've explained one of them like nine mile final one zero stock bar get back to 130. turn off the autopilot because it's kind of rough out all right there's 130 or green Arc and I'll wait for this to say one mile and to come to idle and see if I can get configured and stabilized for a nice approach for landing stock market Graphics thing went off for Mike five mile final file one zero stock bar and it's a rough day today all right 130 knots 1200 AGL now we're looking for one mile on that and then it'll start slowing all right 130 knots I'm inside of two miles on the Glide path I got a little slow there all right 130. there's my one mile I'm gonna take off on the pitch so that'll flatten it out they act like a speed brake on a Glide path slowing yeah this is gonna be a piece of cake all right dumping the flaps in yeah so 132 uh one mile final is not a problem foreign
