High End Bunkhouse Travel Trailer - 2021 Keystone Outback 340BH Walkthrough

what's up everybody i'm miles today we're going to be taking a look at this outback 340 bh this is going to be a bunk house here and the reason i decided to do a video on this one today is because this is probably my favorite bunk house in the entire keystone travel trailer lineup and i think this is one that really is an eye catcher it has a lot of super flashy stuff on it and it's super nice it's one that i would probably recommend for my family being the size of the family that i have and i think it's one that you're really gonna like so let's go inside and take a look at everything that this trailer has to offer [Music] all right y'all so we're gonna start inside here taking a look at everything that the inside has to offer so this outback here is 8 900 pounds dry weight it's going to be a bunk house it's a 34 foot box so you're looking at about 37 to 38 feet here on the length and let's look around see everything that we have you can see you have the recliner seating and then your dinette there now a couple things to point out about this area here one you can see there's no carpet so i love that and i love that they actually use this vinyl carpeting material to match the tone of the flooring here so just a really nice touch makes everything look really smooth and seamless and then when you come to the dinette table here you can see that it's a legless dinette so this is going to make it super easy putting that table up and down plus going in and out of there you're never gonna have your no legs hitting those bars for the table or anything like that which i really love that because i know me having long legs i always hit my legs on those so love that feature there as well then as you come into your kitchen area here you have the big island what i love about what they did with the sink is they put it off or they offset it on the side so you have all this counter space here so a lot of times for whatever reason they put the sink right in the middle with a lot of brands but they put it off to the side here which is exactly what i feel like they should do to maximize the space there and then you're gonna have your different drawers here even like the wood and the way they paint it inside here it all just looks really good it matches with the tones of this rv and the look that they're going for with kind of this rustic modern look so i really like that and it's just attention to detail and everything there that i really appreciate out of this rv gonna have your trash can underneath there then when you come into this kitchen area here same thing you're gonna have your kitchen countertop space in here as well and there is a light up underneath here so you do have lighting under there and then you're gonna have your stove top so it's gonna be the three burner stove it's gonna be the furion stove here and your oven underneath and then underneath the oven this is something that a lot of people really love is having this little drawer underneath the oven because that's not always there and so it just gives it more of a residential look then you'll have your microwave there and then you're going to have the retractable tv so this is another thing that's really sweet about this unit you get the window on this side so you can have that light if you want it but you do have the retractable tv so your switch is right here just hold that down and that tv is gonna come up just like that now i'll save you the time and i won't push this thing all the way up we'll just kind of leave it there but you'll have your sound controls and everything right below that and then you have this massive fireplace right here so huge fireplace that's going to put out heat for you that is going to help take the chill out the room when you're in those colder temperatures just with that alone and it gives it just a nice good aesthetic to the rv as well another thing that's really important about this unit is the window positioning and the floor plan design that allows for your windows to be on this side of the rv so if you realize your door here is on the passenger side of your rv so if you're you know driving your car the passenger side is going to be on this side and your doors on this side so what this means is your campground is going to be on this side so mo i mean anywhere i've ever gone if i go somewhere our campground is always on that side so this means all your windows here are going to be looking out into your campground as opposed to some models where they have the sofa or the recliners and the dinette on this wall and all your windows are looking into your non-camp side so i know that's the way my family's camper is right now our kitchen is on this wall right here so we don't have any windows looking into our campground which is kind of a bummer and it's something that i honestly really don't like that much and so i love that this one has all of your seating and everything on your campsite so all your windows are going to be looking out to where your campsite is and you'll be able to see everything going on out there then as we come back here into the bunk room going to have a lot of sleeping space in here so you're going to have this bunk up here definitely suited for at least one person could even fit two small kids up there you'll have your ladder to get up and this ladder will come out [Music] so it does come out just like that and then you have some shelving space right behind there as well as some storage here some shelves for kiddos and whatnot to put their stuff and looks like that's covered up underneath there have shelves there and then the big window in the back obviously a great plus you're going to have the roller shades so roller blackout shades on the rv which is going to be a nice touch as well i mean you would expect it in something like you know this nice of a unit and another single bunk overhead and then your this here is going to go up and it's on those um i always forget what the name of these things are called but you know what i'm talking about hold it up for you so you don't have to hold it up yourself and then this is going to be a pull-out sofa so this here i'll actually i mean it's so easy to do these i can literally do it with one hand and just show you i'll just kind of show you the how this room will look when you have the bed out so you can get an idea all right put that down and there you go so you have the bed there so that's going to be like a full-size bed pretty much and it'll come up to there you can definitely sleep two people on there and then if you need all the sleeping space you also have the bunk overhead so everybody can sleep in here you can sleep one two three four people in here as well as two more in the bedroom so you got about a six person sleeping capacity oh actually no eight person because you also have the dinette outside so it sleeps up to eight on this one dinette will collapse and make a sleeping surface as well with that legless dinette there it's super easy you just pull a little latch and it just drops right down super easy there and then you're gonna have the barn door here which looks really nice and this is gonna be leading to your pantry so you'll have a pantry in there with a rack to hang some stuff up there if you choose to use that but the barn door is a great touch it just makes it look really nice and really completes that rustic modern look that they have going on here so that's the living area and then let's go into the bath and bedroom so in the bathroom you have the rectangular shower here which a lot of people prefer over something like let's say maybe a corner shower and then again it's just the nice little touches that they do having the black appliances here that just look a little bit more modern and a little bit more clean in my opinion same thing on the sink you have the black faucet and then you're gonna have your medicine cabinet and your toilet and then you'll have your storage in the medicine cabinet as well and it's also in here it's going to be a porcelain toilet so you can hear that it's a porcelain toilet in there so you get the nice high-end toilet all your controls are right here so you have just a standard control panel no um tricky technology or anything like that to deal with and then when you come into the bedroom here it's going to be a queen-size bed yeah both the shades closed in here so you can see we have the blackout shade so you can get that sunlight all blocked out in here if that's what you want but let's open those up and you're gonna have your storage on the sides as you would expect it's going to be places to hang clothes and then you're going to have the drawer that opens up here and then on each side of the bed you're going to have outlets and cubby pockets there to put your stuff and everything like that storage overhead in the bed as well this is going to pass all the way through to the other side and then it's going to be the same thing on the on the other side as far as the storage that you got going on there let's see and then underneath the bed same thing you have these struts to hold it up for you and underneath the bed this is something that outback has been doing in a lot of their models they have this pet kennel door here so you can actually have you know your pet bed in here or whatever and open up this door so without having to lift the bed up to allow your pet to run in there and you know have that be their designated spot for all their stuff and then this goes back down you will have a mounting bracket in here for a tv and you have a wall space here that allows for a pretty decent sized tv up there so that's nice as well ac in the bedroom so it's right over top of you gonna keep you cool at night and that's pretty much it for the inside here so that's everything that we got on the inside kind of walk through one more time and let's go talk about some of these features on the outside all right so here on the outside you're gonna see you have your bright white led docking lights here they look really nice really clean and then one of the most important features on here is you're gonna have this bal seven point auto leveling system so this year i don't have the key to unlock it but underneath this panel is a little touch screen control module and that is going to be where you do your auto leveling from so it even uses the tongue jack as part of the leveling system so you don't have to set anything on this it is so easy simplifies your setup process and makes it as seamless as possible and as quick as possible so you also have the 30 gallon propane bottle so you get two 30 gallon propane bottles coming onto this side pass-through storage is going to be through here so you can see how tall that space is in there so you have a lot of height as you pass through there and then obviously your power cord that comes with it tv hookups right here if you do decide you wanted to put a tv out in this area and then you'll have the solid steps so love these these should be standard on any rv just a good safety thing to give you a good surface area to step on and a good sturdy step going in and out you also have the frame dropped underneath here so this just allows for more depth in that storage compartment there and then it's also going to allow for a little bit more height in the rv which is a great little touch as well like something you would expect from a high-end travel trailer like this now we're gonna get into one thing that is somewhat of a critique but it's like also you need to it's just what you get if you want this much floor space in an rv you do have your slide out that comes into your patio area basically so two things that you can do here one you can actually push this in pretty easily i mean if you don't have anything in the way inside of your slide out if you want this space to be cleared up outside just push your slide out in it'll take like 20 seconds at the most maybe and then you can push it right back out when you go inside so that's an option your awning is going to be right up there with your outdoor speaker right next to it and then i believe your other outdoor speakers right on the other side here yep other side here so you get a wide range of sound as well you're gonna have your lights on the awning right here so they're actually be shining down into your patio space which is great i love the way they did that and then obviously you can see this amazing outdoor kitchen that you have here so you have everything that you would need pretty much in an outdoor kitchen you have your big refrigerator you get the sink you have the two burner stove here you have tv hookups and you get a bunch of storage so that one is not storage but this here is gonna be storage and this here is gonna be storage and then you have your overhead storage so lots of space out here to put all of your drinks and snacks and everything that you want to be easily accessible your two burner stove right here will be facing sideways so that's where that will be and just a great outdoor entertainment space that they put together here on this outback definitely one of the highlighted features for this rv so you go around your spare tire is going to be underneath the bottom you're gonna have a ladder so it will be a full walkable roof and then you're gonna have your two slide outs on this side and let's see make sure i don't miss anything else that's important to talk about um yeah pretty much it you're gonna have your docking station here so this is where your water hookups and everything will be pass through storage from the other side and you'll have your solar hookups so if you do want to hook up a solar panel you do have the option there to do that i can't believe i almost forgot a super important feature too you have a skylight here in the kitchen so this is gonna add a whole bunch of sunlight in here that's gonna brighten it up even more and even on a more cloudy day like today it still is very bright in here so just want to throw that in there as well but with all that being said that's it this is the outback 340 bh like i said it's one of my favorite actually it is my favorite bunkhouse travel trailer that keystone has to offer so let me know do you agree do you
