Hermitcraft S8 Episode 1: You Will LOVE This!

ooh hello there my fellow miners and crafters good times with scar here and welcome to hermitcraft season eight episode one and we're here in hermitcraft season seven before joining season eight i just wanted to sit here and try to generate some ideas for what we're going to do for the next season and well it hit me looking into the magical crystal here the reflection gave me all the inspiration i could ever have dreamed of what you're looking at is the tycoon of season eight we're a little bit of willy wonka in a smidge of the wizard of oz we're gonna be living out of a wagon taking little wagons to people's bases selling them wares and eventually maybe building a city in the sky themed bioshock infinite and i am super excited about this throw in a little bit of copper some steampunk and we're gonna have a fantastic season together now to get to hermitcraft season eight that is gonna be fun as you know this bed has been occupied for the entirety of season seven nobody could ever sleep in it day or night and the real reason for this i've never actually told you is that uh i hid something under it and what i hid under it was of course my wizard portal and every good wizard needs a wizard portal and uh yeah so we're in hermitcraft season seven looking down literally on the hermitcraft season eight world and uh yeah that's my last act of magic as the wizard so let's uh use it and head into the world and i see no hermits we either got here way too early or way too late but either way i'm a wizard so i arrived precisely when i meant to all right so this is that awkward phase when you first joined a world and you're like i don't know what to do my previous world had okay okay let's not kill ourselves let's cover that hole up so another hermits meet our fate but as i was saying you join a world and you're like i don't know what to do do i beat down a tree do i kill the cow like i'm super confused but anyway guys let's sort out our food and then let's meet up with the rest of the hermits and if you were excited as i am for season 8 hit that like button let's do this got some food met up with the hermits and as i said i arrived precisely when i intended to and we're playing on a continent that we'll all play together on in close proximity with the voice mod which is going to be fantastic we have two new hermits pearlescent moon and geminite fantastic people fantastic builders cannot wait to build some stuff obviously this guy's a princess he's got a tiny hat i have a princess hi princess hyper it's a beautiful little hat thank you you're the first person that's giving me a compliment over the little hat it's nice thank you really good do you want to amend your statements i loved it i love that he's a beautiful hat it's a beautiful habit nice little hat for a little guy right it's a new season scar you're the little guy now [Laughter] you just wait you just wait i've got plans mister can i quickly just rub your fleece perfect now we wait with these tires bring it on you know hey guys i paid cleo to kill beat ups come watch somebody kill cleo this is beautiful entertainment right here this is what i paid for i'm more likely to go from there oh yes oh my god spoils of war the spoils of war got the bet he didn't even have a chance to plan place his bed i feel bad but not really incoming he's coming i know he's coming he's so happy though um he's holding a stick yes fantastic wonderful well you got your bed back there beat up i'm so happy i paid for this murder this was enjoyable well we left all that craziness to find ourselves a place to build now we've traveled all the way south yeah it's like a little penguin waving look at that or it's one of those little cats that has the paw that like endlessly waves oh that's really really funny but as much as i love that this isn't for us we need to find somewhere flat and green to put our base on top of now it's still in the infancy of its design but i'm thinking for our starter base kind of a wagon and eventually our megabase is like a sky city like bioshock infinite and uh yeah i am super super super pumped just need to find somewhere i'm not too picky flat and green and not too many things to kill me okay there is some scary creatures here in the in the dark oak who was that hello oh gosh it's a horse i thought that was a player oh that's a beauty of a horse oh my gosh i was like somebody is hiding behind that tree i think going north is going to be the best idea i looked at a map of the continent and there is some flat green space over there um the issue is there's like an ocean here which i think is just a big lake so let's just maybe swim across hopefully we've got two carrots to our name at this point oh my gosh what are you doing dude hello hi i've been in the ocean for so long well uh hop on can you stand on the bike i'm gonna stand on the boat oh my gosh i can't believe my luck here i can't hide i can't i can't there's a drown dude okay punch it punch it stay on dude get up just just go go go without me meet me on the shore [Laughter] dude buff then you can do it you can do a rescue mission go go go oh thank you so much for the boat oh the drone was so scary do you see his face oh yeah no you really showed him dude guess what look what we got what is that in a bouncy ball and i had a diamond but then i i was flexing too hard for all them haters and i threw it in the sea dude he flexed so hard that we lost it i met up with b dubs and clear and they made fun of my hat well people keep saying that i don't have shorts on i just realized that you can't like people keep thinking that i've got reverse tan lines but it's just really annoying do you do you inside feel like you do have pants on in my in my heart of hearts i have pants on you i'm really scared and it's dark and everyone made fun of my hats can i stay with you guys of course and bw is online so um is he has he gone to sleep however i mean it looks like oh he saw him he sorted it are we going to the northeast of the north i actually don't i don't even know if we're on the island anymore oh an egg hello cleo you're so far down there i am so far down here i found geode is that where you you you can like play music on yes that's exactly what you need i know right this is the last thing you found gonna come on let's play music no no no no no no no it's not fun down there guys it's not fun not fun yeah that's why i was getting torches it's very pretty i just stand next to people and collect their things this is enjoyable you're doing well can you just steal my twinkie box do we actually need any of this stuff or are we just mining and just we're just taking it i'm just excited oh god oh no oh no i wasn't doing anything everyone else was mining and i was just picking up their things and [Music] that's what you get for not doing anything i guess all right we got a boat let's try to get back to where we were at the geo i don't know if green and mobo have gone by now but i still want to continue north hello down there hello they've gone all my stuff i think i can probably lend you some stuff i got some stuff honestly cleo it wasn't mine to begin with all right cleo goodbye have a great time youtube look at that little cabin over this so cute look at it look at it it's it's magnificent oh i love this it's got a little stone cut and a little potted plant oh so when i fart at night like there's a nice little pine fresh smell in the cabin that is okay i thought that was a shark okay we've got a sheep oh i'm really feeling this like i'm a hundred percent feeling this place we got pigs in a barrel this is like easy mode in a in a gravestone for fallen villagers how sad what is out here oh this is oh it's a well green and a mumbo working on a swim stroke very good guys hello hello immensely sweaty right now that was well we've reached the end of the island dude you how far did you go this is it this is the northeast north oh i live in northwest dude i found a cabin on an island over in the spruce forest it's amazing well this is as far as we go so we either settle here or turn around i i can't go any further i sprained my ankle and i'm immensely sweaty and dehydrated mumbo's i mean look i've got barely anything on the bottom you've got barely anything on top between us we've got a full outfit it's a normal sized hat if anything it looks like a flower oh my gosh there's an arrow and i have an arrow in my eye oh my gosh that might just be for you dude because i can't see it you can't see it all right a little bit and set up i mean yeah i don't want to be like on the literal tip of that seems a little bit antisocial to me like i'm as far from everyone as possible thank you well directly in the middle here like we've got we're surrounded by various different things so this would be good do you think i could settle in the pine forest with the cabin on the water oh there's a village oh dude this is perfect there's also a a bucket of pigs like a barrel of monkeys but a bucket of pigs a bucket of pigs is that a saying forces a little hat saying is he like partner in crime so we like found a spot where we're yeah i like this i like this a lot yeah i'm looking the vibe all right well this is it let's mark let's mark this this is the spot i'm going to mark it with this bench crafting crafting bench i like it let's put a torch on it it's like a birthday cake but wood yay all right and the boat on it wow there's anything else you can add to the mix he got a scar on it hey i still got the arrows in my eye but you can't see it are you trying to put the bed on the boat anything else you can put on this is the most iconic founding of a village i've ever i thought you were impulse cleo this is really confusing me i knew it was an impulse she's got shares you can't win this fight scar yeah oh i'm not i'm no no no no i'm not i'm like okay no no no no but i thought if we all know i mean we could share the army i'd like your tiny hat if you want to make me inside i won't kill you because you're the only one who's ever complimented me on my hat bye goodbye have a great time oh impulse has joined the village look at that he's on he's part of the totem this is the best totem yeah beds beds is always good there we go all right nice i'm in there i'm just a little hat on top of all you guys yeah yeah the little hat is actually ruling us at this point in time this is a bonding moment everyone you don't just have to get in a bunch of stacked boats and not be bros for life okay didn't even need to be mentioned green we all knew this was bonding we all knew this yeah are you telling me we're all going to become friends here i'm actually really high up all right okay i'm gonna go really slow here there we go okay we're good uh good job i hate i hate putting people on the spot but does anyone have a name for our little thing going on here it's the boat and pole it's the photos nice that's a good name mumbo i like that thank you very good this is why you have the mustache well i'm immensely hyped i think this area is going to be amazing we've got pearlescent mood now in this area along with impulse mumbo and green and yeah i think we'll create something really special together now we gotta go get some resources let's just try to avoid dying too much [Music] [Music] help me welcome back you know everything looks fine at first right i've got iron armor i've got an inventory full of riches until you realize i'm trapped underground without a pickaxe and i have absolutely no food and it is very very late my time so of course the british are in their slumber beds and i could call up to them save me and know it'll come and save me so we need to figure out a way out of here this doesn't look great okay this is a water slide of death we are gonna go the opposite direction oh can't get out of the water streams today what the heck i didn't see it no no we had so much good luck that is devastating i'm punching the wall all felt lost losing all of those resources until i came up and found out our neighbors grinded the heck out of the game and we've got sheep pens cow pens bamboo of all things golden fields of crops jungle trees that's the only sapling i don't have the enchanter is a bit of a slap in the face honestly after losing 25 something levels but we've got a portal too and this thing whatever it is and some cocoa beans and more farms and sugarcane makes our little place here and our grinding look like nothing compared to that but we did get a decent amount of stuff from the mines and i want to do something for them to contribute back um oh we got the moss blocks korean dropped those off for me so that was super nice of him um he knows i needed those let me arm back up and then we start working oh first time i've slept i mean when b dubs is on there's no need really also yeah i died again after the creeper what the heck it's like a giant bus it's a spider-man bus oh that that is hilarious oh oh no oh spider-man bus crashed we're gonna save spider bus here there you go spider boss you've been sick oh bones oh bones bones bones bones oh not feather falling oh shoot oh shoot oh that's another one oh during it i saw dogs and i wanted the bones that was a mistake wait how is that a thing that skeleton has my sword and he's very glitchy i don't have a name tag oh jordan he's probably gonna be a goner unless maybe i throw him yeah put that on yes no no no no no no no no no there he is there he is there he is okay let's try to i don't know what no darn it i had a bit of a big brain thought we're just gonna put him in a boat it'll be super easy all right all right we're gonna wait for a minute and got him okay no no not that didn't work as well as i was hoping oh he pre-put himself in the boat i'm gonna have plans for you later on now that we got our skeleton put away it's time for a little hermit cribs come on in let's take a bit of a tour as you can see we've now got ourselves a crystal floor that makes music and we got chess scattered around what else would you find in a scar house but a chess monster of course but the grind for our real starter base continues as copper is such a pain to get but i did get some super awesome little crystal bits so we can make one of the pirate scopes which will be super super fun but in the aid of getting more copper i've got fortune 3 now so that will definitely help so cross your fingers and hope that this makes it faster it's working i mean this is the coolest new feature ever fortune gets you more copper and i think gold and iron so this will make our lives so much easier oh okay that was a close call here with half a heart i see you creeper i oh oh can you blow up through the fence post no oh no i don't know how in the end we have gotten this much copper and survived but we did and while i've been looking for caves and stuff like that i found b-dubs tango and corrales area and beedums was on his base and i had a revelation he looks like a very particular cartoon character well hello there so b-dubs yeah i was up on this mountain high above looking down at your beautiful base okay and i had a revelation and i see your face which i could see from a mile away may i point out shining but then i realized you look like someone john stamos close close one more guess one more guess um brad pitt oscar the crouch get off of my moon oscar the grouch hey it does look a little like an oscar the grouch costume doesn't it see you're coming you're coming around hold on especially from behind by the chance do you have any copper yeah okay what do i have on me i have five glue ink sacks and 44 mossy cobble any of those appeal to you for maybe a little copper scar you know these are different times they are very different times tango s i had tons of kabul from being down in the mines and tango asked he said hey can i borrow some cobble i said sure take all you need and then an hour later i need it all back so so then i had to go back down and get more cobblestone is this a bad time to ask for a cobblestone yeah it's a terrible time i mean what do you want three i made fun i made fun of your beautiful skin called you oscar the grouch you could have the you can have it oh my goodness okay okay and for one for the road for the walls okay you know what you're being sweet okay can i ask you can i ask what's going on here your base looks absolutely beautiful oh thank you uh i mean it's a bit of a mess at the moment i'm making uh a moon moon base not on the moon moon down here like the moon crashed on the planet yes oh i love it can i can i borrow this bro what just borrow this real quick yeah so apparently if you click this with bone meal it gets wild and crazy like it basically technically griefs your area yes it does doesn't it it does it's so weird it takes all your blocks you know what i mean if you have infinite bone meal it could be a great way to like mine out holes in the ground oh and this is like an instant mine kind of you want some copper for the road let me you need how many do you need whatever a man can spare okay let me give you let me give you five oh very generous very generous you know what you know what two more yay oh i love those those are rare too and surprise iron i have more iron than i know what to ever do with oh thank you well oscar the grouch it has been an absolute pleasure bye goodbye oscar um hold on wait wait wait i came back real quick um yes supplies uh yes actually do you have a dispenser no okay all right all right i got this idea green's afk he has no helmet on and we can put this on his head i mean that would be hilarious yeah so i will get to it immediately i found a bow i don't know where i got the bow from i honestly have no idea oh my gosh i mean he's definitely going to think that something's going on i'm buttons in place oasis i don't know what that is but but could you serenade me you've really never heard this on wonder wall by oasis no maybe i'm not as musical as i thought i was today i'm feeling it today that i gotta get it back to you look at the tiny house in rv coming together so well this song isn't annoying at all yeah i'm just like slowly walking further away from the noteblocks all right dude well much shenanigans on the server for one day it is time to start building and three days of grinding have yielded this much copper i i mean i've been going hard on it you'll do notice that there is a empty slot and that's because i have a yet to find any diamonds in editing i found out that i walked over diamonds and i had a diamond from a chest from a minecart chest and uh i got blown up by a creeper so i don't have it but i do have diamond horse armor so i technically do have something in the realm of diamonds inside here we've got a whole lot of wood and of course a bit of deep slate which i'm very excited to experiment with so as i said before we're a bit of a tycoon we've come to this continent to create a new business a big old city for ourselves and i am super excited to experiment with this i want to take little wagons and have like mobile wagons that we go to different people's bases to sell them things i'm not sure i'm going to have an actual shop but a mobile shop and i'm pretty excited about this so our first wagon here is gonna be a massive wagon that we entered the continent on here to uh take over the world if you will and i'm super excited about this so my friends let's hit super fast build mode for the very first time right in the face [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and super fast build mode and we've got ourselves one absolutely insane build for day one episode one and i think it fits the tycoon design this absolute over-the-top optimistic build here kind of rolling into the continent to start a whole new life and a business and i had an absolute blast putting this together this took a lot of design work and a lot of work gathering all the materials but as i said it was a fun beautiful challenge and uh yeah it was a lot of cool um experimenting especially with the new blocks now you might notice that the uh the bill kind of looks like a boat and it's supposed to be a wagon so it's gotten the nickname it's got the nickname the lambo after land boat which i think is just absolutely perfect but it's uh it's got a llama pulling it by the way there is just something very fitting about this massive wagon being pulled by a simple llama but this isn't a simple llama no this llama actually slayed me and i am absolutely not kidding you this llama actually killed me so what happened was i was building the roof and a traitor spawned up there and you know i did my training with the said traitor and as one would do decapitated him and send him to his grave now his friends the llamas didn't really take too kindly to that and a few minutes later i slipped off the scaffolding landed on the ground with half a heart left and buddy over here took one giant uh spit at me and killed me i just wish i had actual footage of that just a screenshot but yeah so that's the story of the llama and now he is pulling this giant wagon to the continent thinking about it this is a pretty good build for not having a single diamond tool to our name in our next episode we're really gonna have to figure that out and work on the interior of the wagon of course interiors can be a bit tricky they're like a puzzle putting together your hopes and dreams inside of this confined space but i'm starting to generate some ideas for this and will really you know sort out a smelter a storage area a bedroom and all sorts of fun things and start our wagon business in our next episode which i think is going to be amazing hello scott well hello there how are you hello i'm good i log in and i see a mortal engine ridiculous house of copper you know you know it was supposed to be a wagon but it kind of turned into more of a boat so its nickname is the lambo that's a seriously big house for such a little hat hey what no you can't you can't throw at the little hat like that oh god i think you're compensating for your tiny hat oh my god oh you shot me i have a card on there how do you get in this thing is there a secret hatch under here i thought you said a secret hat um no that was an oversight i um there's no way you're kidding me there's no way up no i'm too used to the elytra and i was literally sitting on the llama thinking about i didn't make an entrance and i i only have iron tools so this is the slowest most inefficient way to scaffold ever okay scott why don't you make a ladder i might make a water stream because it's kind of steam punky so it could have like okay like a little water stream or something ridiculous this whole thing is ridiculous it is ridiculous well dude it just goes with the uh with the tycoon costume you know he's just an eccentric fella and a tiny hat oh jeez get out of here i'm gonna roll i'm gonna run you over what's he doing over there well so mumbo has to replant every tree he cuts down so i planted a couple trees to see what he was gonna do and so he decided to replant it over here so apparently his his rules are that he doesn't have to replant them in the same spot do you read that you read that sign right what one this one green super special egg do not touch i know but but what if i touched it really quick don't don't touch the egg what if i did really nicely like softly this specifically says do not touch can i rub it no don't touch the egg that scar oh dang flabbit mumbo's started something that he's not gonna win good luck mumbo what's it going over there buddy i touched his thing i did see you touch the thing and it worked very much to my favor you see green came over and he planted some trees outside the front of my house thinking that i had to replant the trees in exactly the same position what he doesn't realize is i can plant them anywhere i see i see do you want to touch this thing over there it's really fun i mean are we allowed to am i allowed to touch the thing now i did you're not allowed to touch the thing yes we're touching the thing we're here to touch the thing here touch the thing i mean what happens dude just do it right click on it he said it's cool i didn't realize it over there i didn't realize there's an animation of it literally falling should we just touch it until it lands back in its original position i think that's uh oh where is it that's a joke that's a genuinely good question oh my goodness no honestly i'm i'm i'm stuck this is why we can't have nice things genuinely my heart actually sank when we couldn't find it then i was like i thought we had totally ruined your thing all right well i'm gonna get back to my vw bus listening to wonder wall uh i guess i'll see you all soon are you familiar with something real soon don't worry about it yeah score i've never heard wonder wall this is got tiny hat dang it that's it i touched your egg again enough of these tiny hat jokes i have now got a plan to get back at them in the next episode something i don't think you have ever seen in vanilla minecraft and yeah if you can guess what it is put it in a link in the description this is gonna be
