Here's What It's Like To Drive A Formula 1 Car! The Most Emotional Drive Of My Life.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning you see I'm gonna write in at the deep end here the first things first that's some exciting laps and experienced performers with Renault single seaters yeah Australian first off the morning like we woke up in the pitch-black most of the mornings been technical briefings track Lao now it's getting real now we're gonna be jumping straight into the Formula Renault and then later on in the day is into a proper f1 car we're doing this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] like if that is a taste of things to come hi I am already like these things are amazing done I think if we were doing the full circuit layout it'll be good to be turned five which I think it's called seen or sign I've been told in an f1 car it's flat in seventh which when you first start doing the sort of warm-up action you can't believe it whether you've got to build up to it I mean this thing I think it'd be flat in sick unbelievable absolutely birthing I cannot now I get out early on this morning I was quite nervous about it all these think roughly quite an approachable car I can't say the same for the f1 car yet live here it's so good so that's it for the single seater Formula Renault stuff like after this we're in the horn I mean when we are having the briefing earlier the jump from these cars to Formula One if you are gonna pursue it as a career it's about four years it's I think we're doing in about four hours so when I say in at the deep end yeah truly truly crazy crazy stuff what's about to happen I'm gonna have my seat fitting for the Formula One car we in what what of those effort words exist next up gonna spend some time go through the steering wheel controls things like that check it out all right great all ridiculousness as far as weight to raise your knees across the edge it's good so good in there it's incredibly snug the Formula Renault car that was pretty cozy with nothing like that like it so much shrink wrapped around you it's fully molded there's no option but to let a break because your knee is basically touching and they just had me do a pressure test like my left leg basically say the strength of my legs up depressingly straight they said press it with all of your mind I was pressing it so hard I might be using my back and he was like yeah that's about right that's like good job less about right because unless you're hot yeah I mean even just sitting in and you really get like I feel for why these things are completely different gravy it's just a scary movie six paddles that I know ones the hand clutch it's it's a privilege just be able to sit in one I mean that's all that I'm gonna try out some paul ricard blowing my mind actually start to get really real now even putting these things in see you on the other side sorry it is so cozy in here so when I Drive off you're not gonna be able to hear what I'm saying we're probably going to be concentrating too much to talk anyway so this is what it's like as a normal person to drive a Formula One car [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I have never ever oh I got a light and all my time I mean I've been in some fast cars but that is just totally different ballgame it's all manual but then I'm like I'm actually not forwards I mean the experience is by a devotional oh my god somebody oh it felt like the jeans we're gonna pull my hair off my neck I can tell you if you ever wonder what it's like to drive as a normal person it is everything and more it is [Applause] one of the last to be a sin gear box if you watch this channel regularly you'll know a bit of a gearbox knob but gearbox is this you know I go on about like tone changes and it's just like it everything you sort of tum they don't tell with your arms you tell me your wrists and when you down shank like the brakes on this is like throwing out parachutes and bankers they're like just dig into the tarmac into this to know that you sound like that like window driving I'm absolutely blown away like from everyone watching to everyone in this garage like I just want to say a massive thank you thank you to you guys because without you being wonderful and subscribing and watching this channel the quite frankly I would never had the invite I've got two words absolutely lost before I get back to as many comments as I can family now because it was that much of a big deal back in a minute coming down from it it's really I just just saying I've got a headache because I've had this like depletion of adrenaline it's just fallen out of my brain at the realization that what's just happened it's grew up your are like my household there's water from the one sounds you know gross and so just be in it in a bit emotional about it's just I can't believe how about absolutely gobsmacked obviously gobsmacked it's like his chance to get space is literally not but over when actual on that is so beyond picking this up but to know though when you're in it it sounds like that and it's the naturally aspirated stuff as well so I know we've got to have a charge in this era but for me I grew up on the naturally aspirated stuff to be to have experienced messages [Music] that is it I'm no longer trackside how cool is this like I'm walking between the two Renault Sport Formula One team trucks feel like a real driver here so amazing unfortunately I now have to remove the family of the fabulous Infiniti racing suits and come swiftly back down to earth after that just life-changing experience I know that might sound dramatic well as a petrol head through and through and someone who's grown up watching Formula One twisted my brain anyway back to paddock and then we'll yeah call a day [Music] [Applause] whoof back at base camp this place is phenomenally there's absolute heaven for petrol heads here you've got hotels and spas and just facilities to indulge in your wildest petrol head dreams yeah there's not much it really much more to say but only because I've ran out of descriptive words I really hope you've enjoyed it it's given you a good insight into what it's like for a lemon to drive an f1 car for me
