just like this that was good wasn't it yeah fingers crossed today's the day I don't know what he's doing all right here we go first I thought they were both going to take when chicken's done it don't jiggle [Music] none hey y'all oh guess what we're back in the kitchen and guess what we're eating tonight well guess what we're cooking let's see is this going to make a mess hold on this right here turkey nugget so if you watched my last video you saw where Austin got her a turkey on opening day opening youth day so I'm uh I'm frying them up tonight um I think okay so what I did this time was um I I had them soaking in buttermilk for the majority of the day and then I just use chicken I use this for everything house Al Tre chicken Breer okay it makes everything better with you're frying and I haven't fried I don't remember last time I fried anything it's been a long time anyway so then I just drained that and then put it in this with a little extra salt and pepper and I'm frying it in the skillet let me show you just like this going turn them over here in a second letting them get a little brown um I think next time I'm going to try this recipe I found I found a recipe that you're supposed to to let it here comes will let it um let them soak in pickle juice which is like what Chick-fil-A does with their chicken so I think with the next one I'm going to do that and this is only half of it I mean the wild turkey breast is humongous I should have showed you before I cut it up I'm sorry anyway it's really big so um this should be enough to feed us tonight and then we should have enough for another meal I mean I hope it's enough will is here and Wesley is eating like two gr men but um yeah I might be second guessing that anyway I put together some swall and I've roasted some potatoes and that is what we're having for supper now I was just saying frying makes me want like fried cornbread but too late don't have time for that little pollination station that was a good one it yeah it was pollination station wow we got to do some cleaning oh I can't see out of it all righty we are heading over to the Corral fingers crossed today the day of course it's raining a little bit my friend Tanner is supposed to be here and start putting in the post for the arena so we don't know if he's here yet or not but Mar is over there and he was supposed to be here 30 minutes ago so hopefully he's here and hopefully it's not going to rain a lot today it's supposed to rain a lot tomorrow like all afternoon all night today there's only like a 30% chance and if it doesn't do any more than this then we should be all right but anyway we're going to see okay he's not here yet that's all right he'll be here when he gets here at this point we're definitely not in any hurry Oh I thought Lawrence was in the truck and I went around there I was like oh there's nobody there see what he's doing huh he bushhoging it oh he's bush hogging it no he who knows what he's doing he's doing something he's he's just I don't know what he's what you doing I just seeing how much it got left here try to pull it straight oh I got a little yeah huh oh he's worried about being able to Bush Hog on the out on the outside of the fence anyway could move that move that flag about two two three foot cler to the as long as it's straight man I wish this calf got some attention and some love seven you're rotten yeah a little bit we were just trying to remember why he was named seven Wesley said he was born October 7th and I thought it was I thought it had something to do with a date well it's raining now nobody's here yay oh and Julie's with him all right here we go first first Post Corner oh it won't let me zoom in first corner post is in the ground down there second's going in and here we go so these are our friends Tanner and Julie Owen Owen fencing out of Souther Virginia he doesn't need any advertisement because I think he has more business than he can do and he has for years now he's definitely the best in this area um Lawrence considers him a surrogate son they used to live on our farm and they had two small boys and the boys are now out of college and one is married and um we just love them dearly the whole family they're just great and so it's really special that they're able to do this for us it's going to make it even that much more special I said Southerland I meant keing keing Virginia I get my I get my towns mixed up around here anyhoo and the kids are reliving their childhood here in the pron tree they used to climb my childhood you're still in your childhood okay you are you carved your initials in it yeah a got a ww aww oh will did too I didn't know y'all did that he's done this so much he can just step off um what is it 12T 16 ft 16 ft got one one line done one side wow I thought they were both going to take it but strong arms got it h i want to hung up there to open this back up the hill the weather qu can't quite decide what it's doing keeps it rains and it goes away and the sun tries to come out and then it starts raining but it's not terrible moving along moving along they're not going to be able to stay very long today and we're supposed to get a lot of rain tomorrow and then um I think he'll be back the next day all in all you could just get some good hours out here it wouldn't take that long to get it done I'd say by next week we should have this done though we're talking about um putting some animals in here for now just to eat This Grass down so we don't waste This Grass This Grass um we'll probably do that and then we'll we'll figure out the rest figure out the rest I don't know something learn we see about trying to get some dirt in here sand or whatever so anyway we're getting there exciting day what are we doing now now we're arm wrestling okay are you ping what do you want me to do the he start oh you already starting somebody H go did he actually win did you let him win no did he win what was that oh jeez that was antimima all right that's that all right they had to had to leave for the day they'll be back it's actually kind of setting in with rain I looked at the radar and there's this one it's not raining anywhere else and there's this one band coming right over us so anyway um we got a good start though we got a good start I'm about to mix up a marinade for chicken thighs y'all I've never I don't think I've ever grilled chicken thighs it's so weird but that's what I'm doing tonight so gra chicken thighs and I'm going to do this broccoli casserole thing I found online that looks good okay that's what we'll be doing here in a little while that's not it I know exactly like but would you let me find just for a second it's get old family time arguing looking at an NRS magazine okay y'all we are in the kitchen I am trying something a little different for me I don't cook a lot of broccoli if I do I normally just like melt some Vita and put on it but tonight I'm trying something different so I got broccoli I got garlic powder crushed pepper I had some crushed um garlic actual garlic actually bought like this kind of garlic I never do that and I crushed it in there and what else am I going to add this is it for right now then I'm going to put in some heavy cream and some cheese and we're going to put it in the oven while I cook my chicken I'm pretty excited about this oh and bacon we're going to add bacon I don't even know where I got the wild here to do the chicken um I really was thinking about getting it for like lunches and then Austin saw it and she's like I want that and I was like okay well I'll do it for supper if we have any leftover we'll use it for lunch so I'm going to pour a cup is of this in here which is probably I smell stuff it's not old um almost all that's left in here and then put some cheese in there with it some Parmesan and some pepper jack and some mozzarella it's just what I've got here and then we're going to pop it in a 400 degree oven for like 10 minutes or so I don't know and we're going to see how this turns out and I'm going to go try to grill some chicken and we're going to see how that turns out cuz grilling chicken scares me I'm I'm always scared I'm not going to cook it long enough so I think I'm going to take my trusty little thermometer thermometer okay let's do this I mean whipping cream y'all whipping cream never hurt nobody okay um oh I forgot the salt and pepper oops can't forget that in there and can you have enough too much cheese I don't think you can do we have dogs fighting behind me what what okay just another day here I'm going to get some of this I'm going to make a mess all right I'm going to put a few more of these cuz the guys like the guys like a little spice I'm just going to do this little number then cut up the bacon put it on top pop this bad boy in the oven and hope for the best okay y'all I don't know this might not be any good but I'm going to tell you it looks good like it really looks good and I threw some of um Mary Pat's the Cheery cheese curds in there there too cuz I still got some believe it or not all right we're going to put a lid on that and go check on the chicken all right Austin I mean Wesley I mean Lawrence that's who you are Lawrence is concerned about my cooking chicken abilities chicken cooking abilities I am too but they hey they look pretty don't they they do they look good okay what temperature is chicken supposed to be pure Tre who where you at 165 that's poultry this is poultry let's see I don't know not quite there yet not with that piece let see some of these other pieces it is the center pieces I don't know what it what' you say I said to me chicken's either done or it's either done or it's raw I just tasted a little piece I thought it was done but I think it was maybe not all the way done okay we'll figure it out man I know some dogs hey lady hey lady you want some chicken don't you I'll eat it I'll eat it raw even I don't care if you cook it or not okay the man who never Cooks chicken is giving me chicken cooking advice he comes up with this when chicken's done it don't jiggle none did you just make that up this before you've heard that before I've never heard that before and I'm like well what doesn't jiggle said the meat I don't know I'm just not made I'm just not just not cut out for chicken I think it's going to be all right but I can already tell it doesn't have a whole lot of taste I Marin Mar ated it but evidently I need to marinate it a different way anyway it'll be supper it'll be something well I brought some of the dogs over here for a little walk after supper hey guys bunnie oh Bonnie's way down there look at this y'all it's so pretty out here I just can't wait just can't wait to be able to be out here ride um feeling really really really grateful tonight I see you God yep you ready to go buddy so sweet well sometimes okay these two have really got to be friends here lately I don't know why but they just are they didn't used to be so much y'all it's so pretty I just can't get over it all right y'all want to walk to the house I just want to stay out here just want to get a chair and just sit out here so lovely it's so quiet it's so peaceful the weather is amazing it's probably 70° birds are singing the Sun is setting I just love it so much just love it right this I could just it could stay like this all day every day and I would be quite content with it it's a lovely evening okay look at the sheet hey Rusty hey Rea how you doing you got a lot of grass coming in or weeds same difference
