Hi! I made a documentary about the current rave scene in VRChat a month ago. When I did, I received a literal ton of comments asking me how you get in, where to find clubs, what headset to buy for dancing, etc.
I've been basically just answering questions daily for the last few weeks, so I thought it'd be a good idea to do something like this -- as there appears to be some desire for something like this.
I've tried to make this a from zero guide -- so it could be helpful for someone that has never heard of VRChat, or someone that has and simply doesn't know where to find events.
Anyway -- I hope this helps some of you that might've seen screenshots/my video/something else and wondered what was going on and how to be part of it!
1st you need to make friends with DJs as some great raves are invite only or friends+ join them on discord’s and see what’s Events are planned .
Edit : most of the times only few people dance and rest is just talking . Even if in FBT …

Folks, if you haven't tried this yet... it is unlike any social experience you've ever had IRL. You can truly be yourself, and experience amazing shows with other people and connect more freely than almost any setting I've experienced IRL.

I swear, I have danced more in VR than at all the convention raves I've ever attended, combined. It is so much fun, and I can make my avatar disco-rave-glow-rainbow-sparkle-flashy and fit right in with everyone else. Shout out to the TailBass crew!
This is so fucking dope. I dream of the day I'll be able to experience this. As a broke college student, not much you can do when VR setups and strong pc rigs cost a lot :x
