previously on Hell's Kitchen the teams face their first major Palance test when they had to identify the surf-and-turf proteins used in a dish pair up decide you order Heidi and Ryan's decision to pair up man Ryan had some of the other chefs fuming you don't want to mix it up Shayna if you don't have a strong palate you shouldn't be in this competition the red team lost a ton of time when Shana and Aziza were unable to identify squad I don't know I'm at recess while I'm googling the blue team's decision to pair stronger palates it looks like a scallop with weaker palates for you to be a smart strategic move I'm not saying anything but damn we knock that up apart and the men shrimp out yes one easily the men enjoyed some fun in the Sun [Applause] Shana had some choice words for Ryan moving fast and trying it off no I blame China and as he's a straight-up hustle - during dinner service the table that pregnant okay a party of 12 required both kitchens to work in tandem the window it was Aaron struggle on the meat station sliced too early heats it sushi on the menu coops flounder on the fish station that caused the blue team to unravel get out in the red kitchen the fishing me already but we'll wait on the garnish yeah snap out of it Gio was a disaster on garnish holding up the delivery of the entrees but thanks to Ron well done I wasn't gonna sit back and watch our team lose again the women managed to eke out a victory ladies well done the men nominated Aaron and Cooper but Chef Ramsay shocked everyone and decided to cut jiff ending her dream of becoming head chef at Yardbird southern table and bar at the Venetian in Las Vegas [Music] [Music] Hey [Music] [Applause] Betty [Music] and now the continuation of Hell's Kitchen ladies I've just done you all a favor get out of it having geog ons a big weight lifted off the red team and I think from here on out we're gonna be a force to reckon with I didn't see it coming I did good riddens GF I'm glad to see you go after a shocking elimination let's go both teams must regroup and chart a new course Oh someone yelling walking down the hallway and I hear come on what the [ __ ] is going on right now whoa am I dreaming did I wake up somewhere different [Applause] you kidding me there's a [ __ ] pirate ship in the middle of the dining room [Music] yar matey the Pirates of Hell's Kitchen are here [Applause] religion thank you gentlemen that's how amazing I did not bring these singing sailors here just to entertain you let's get that right I've brought them here because I want you to consider the achievement of the explorers that have traveled the oceans once the sailors travel into new areas they also discover new types of fish to eat and that is what your challenge is all about it is the seven seas seafood challenge nice excited as you can see each of these sailors is holding a scroll displaying one of the world's major bodies of water written on the other side is a fish if I call your name you will then pick a chef from the other team who you would love to go up against yes then the chef that you nominated will select one of the bodies of water the sailor will then reveal which fish both of you will be cooking got it Heidi look at that talented blue team who do you think you can take down [Music] Johnny damn you weighty fish is not my thing Johnny you get to pick a body of water I'm gonna stick with what I know and go with the Atlantic Ocean chef's what will we have to eat excited yes chef I'm a girl from me I cook nothing but Atlantic so Johnny just drop the ball on that I don't know what he was trying to do coop who do you want to go against in the red team Jim I'm gonna say Mediterranean Sea please branzino from the Mediterranean branzino yeah China I'll take Matt I'm gonna go with the Gulf of Mexico we're in the Gulf of Mexico I don't you eat some grouper Paulie who'd you wanna go against I'll take Z hey can you beat Paulie you'll see how good he is I'm pretty sure I got this pretty sure I got this Indian Ocean do you have a wahoo to cook for mr. G I don't even know what a wahoo fish looks like honestly I don't know what it looks like wahoo love it's crime I'll take on Aaron chef how did you feel about that think I can beat it anything you can be so yeah love that conference now what body of water I'm gonna go with the Baltic Sea [Music] from the Baltic Sea Devon Heather Heather well I like to tell you all why Heather I know I can be here okay doubt it Wow I love that confidence what body of sea let's go Arctic our dick chars the one that's for me the it will be Wendy chefs he going up against Andrew my last one I was waiting to see who had enough balls to pick me but no one did so I got stuck with Wendy at the end I'm gonna go for cific ocean I got this done if this is a point system as well just put it on the blue team right now well alright all of you listen carefully you've all got 30 minutes to create something stunning and your time starts now grab it and go guys in today's seven seas seafood challenge let's go ladies one stunning portion yes the chef's have just 30 minutes to create a unique and delicious dish using one type of fish and a variety of fresh ingredients provided by Chef Ramsay you picked who you got up against make sure you name it yes I've never made woohoo before why do you why do you make it like do you make it like tuna kind of to get the opportunity to make a wild fish I'm all up for it Kimberley describe your dish pan-seared branzino with a bird couscous I've never cooked couscous before actually saw it on TV once so I followed the TV method couscous is like race to me it looks so easy fifteen minutes to go yes yeah come to bed so now you can start cooking your fish yeah and those vegetable should have gotten quicker than that get them in roasting and then add the garlic yes yes chef multitask five minutes to go yes chef all I need is for my [ __ ] fish to get done this is gonna be real [ __ ] close what's wrong hundred nothing chef why you looking so miserable then I don't soy ten minutes Wow I tossed my salad and I turn around and the next thing I know it goes five minutes five minutes to the window and I'm like oh there's no way this big-ass piece of fish is gonna be done in time don't [ __ ] around without Andrew honestly get it on I swear to God sixty Seconds to go yeah come on start plating I [ __ ] up speed up guys let's go coming down at 5:03 I'm [ __ ] pissed right let's start off with the bluefin tuna Heidi and Johnny obviously from the Atlantic Ocean Johnny what in the [ __ ] happened to yours visually yours look like it's being attacked by a cat Wow my first challenge I played too early and now I'm plating too late I mean half an hour Heidi describe the dish please it's a sesame crusted bluefin tuna with a sake and soy Asian stir-fry visually it looks beautiful class the difference is night and day it's not even close do you know that Johnny absolutely relations hide a point goes to the red team great start Thank You Johnny this is just another bad plating of your service you got to start stepping up in these challenges and not repeat the same mistakes mixed up the Battle of the branzino please let's go it's Coupe vs. Kimberly facing off with their Mediterranean branzino a solid clean effort good job thank you with a strong showing from coupe its Kimberly's turn to impress and extend the women's lead fish is cooked nicely Thank You chef what's the one thing tell me about that couscous it just comes into your mouth straight away chicken suck it's overcooked it's mush fish cooked beautifully garnish dreadful and point goes to Cooper Campbell's couscous failed you never want to hear Chef Ramsay say dried fall I wish you would have asked for my help Krupa let's go please with the score tied Shayna and Matt go head-to-head with they're completely different approaches on grouper from the Gulf of Mexico this is tough because both fish taste delicious the point goes to both you well done Thank You sheriff right next up the Battle of the wahoo please let's go Paulie and as either Paulie describe the dish please I get a seared wahoo with sesame and cracked black pepper crust love the crust got the heat good job Aziza describe the dish please there's a pan sear wahoo is a creamy vegetable is kale with corn that's delicious sir thank you pretty dishes what am I expecting the middle here perfection let's find out damn well that is not what I call perfection no it's not I'm point goes to blue team good job Polynesia I'm winning everything I haven't lost the challenge a head-to-head challenge yeah pretty good job thank you with the men pulling ahead Ryan and Aaron face off in the Battle of the Baltic Sea cod Ryan describe your dish please I have a pan-seared Cod with a tequila butter sauce and a potato red pepper hash physical beauty Thank You chef nice job Thank You Aaron describe the dish please I did a oven-baked card with roasted root vegetables inside a Brussels sprouts plates full of water where is that from it's probably coming from the fish yeah no not properly it is definitely coming from the fish point hands down congratulations Ryan good job I've been pretty humble throughout this whole competition so far I think people are really starting to realize that I'm I'm a force to be reckoned with next up often cha please let's go with the score tied again Heather is hoping to help the red team take the lead with her brown sugar coated arctic charge and pineapple salsa hey ray get a fish glaze like that and still pink in the middle so that it's cooked absolutely beautifully good job but Devon is looking to take the point with his pan-seared arctic char with a lemon buttercream dill sauce sir both octa chars are cooked beautifully well done point goes to Heather Thank You chef I'm Devon graduation last rounds battle of the sea bass let's go Wendy describe this please chef I have an asian-inspired marinated sea bass with sautéed bok choy and caramelized mushrooms Wow absolutely cooked to perfection Thank You chef just listening really good indeed you nailed it Thank You chef good shot Wendy all I'm thinking about is Wendy you are our LeBron James that is a very good dish not so confident now drew describe the dish please it's a pan-seared sea bass under needs a little bit of an Asian pear slaw got upset because you put the fish on there and you said it's undercooked I feel like it might've been a little under desperate to see what holds inside there [Music] the fish was cooked to perfection absolutely beautiful how does it taste yeah fish isn't out guys this is really hard gonna come down a very tiny detail one has the edge in terms of presentation congratulations blue team well done go drill man well done one of your best performances so far no
