previously on Hell's Kitchen stop now the chef's were given a budget of $35 and more tested on their ability to turn a profit 34 82 later when Jason ran out of time cooking his Cornish game hen he tried to cut his losses by serving a tiny portion right to the hub leaving the judges wanting more the portion size is quite small punch myself in the face after feeling insecure about her pork loin joy please the judges looks very moist and herself proteins competing thank you I would say about $25 Red Team congratulations which clinched the victory for the red team Chef Ramsay surprised everyone with a major announcement first-ever Hell's Kitchen calendar oh yeah and to help him decide whose dish would represent this season they're gonna call me mr. December after today he brought back three Hell's Kitchen veterans Chef Ramsay added some extra incentive the chef whose dish is selected will earn a black jacket but as the chef's presented their creations it's just very plain and boring Chef Ramsay struggled to find a dish worthy of the calendar very very gluey public company help me Rachelle's New York Strip garnered a mediocre 13 points out of 20 and has the current lead Timmy Torey lifts that dish makes it for me but still may not make it on the calendar however you got that roll fat which is unappetizing and now it all comes down to the final hope joy right now I'm not too sure walking up on the caliber but there just might be a bit of a problem who was the inspiration behind the dish cooking things that I never cooked before us they cook for us stuff you've never cooked before to get on the calendar seriously [Music] [Music] [Music] and now the continuation of Hell's Kitchen fights over goes all right for you I have seared duck breast and on top of there are some oven roasted figs and mushrooms and some Swiss chard for your veggie who is the inspiration behind the dish my inspiration was actually just cooking things that I never cooked before I've never cooked duck I never cook Swiss chard don't eat blackberry a toothpick for the first time here they cook for us stuff you've never cooked before to get on the calendar seriously [ __ ] me she's like this is my first time cooking this okay I'm gonna begin my blackjack and it's right there in the center I can see it so pretty alright let's go pull aesthetically the dish looked amazing the whole dish itself eats very well there's balance you get the acidity I like it a lot thank you Brooke how was that flavor from top to bottom it looked beautiful the balance with that fruit is absolutely amazing make nice what you think I think this is the first dish that I've tasted and said wow this is delicious Brooke give us a number please want to fight I'm just gonna go with the fact wow wow wow wow pull one two five please we're gonna go five Wow Dana I'm gonna give it a five awesome I thought the dish was delicious and I'm gonna get a fork great job what's up thank you thank you no thank you chef but I already got my black jacket 19 out of 20 yeah boy joy yes yeah your dish will now be featured in the month of December a decal in winning today's challenge I prepared a very special menu for a lovely lunch that you're going to enjoy here in Hell's Kitchen dining room with Dana port and rock by the way the rest of you you'll be challenge in Hell's Kitchen okay son at this point gets harder because you know you've been here longer you miss at home in case you okay lady yeah it's getting rough huh I know it that's how it's that was me sitting down and having lunch there are questions that you know I'd like to sit down and ask them while the losing chefs begin to prep a special menu of shrimp salad and steak thank you we have like such an important charity like they do such good work we need to make sure that we honor that by giving them like a really good service tonight okay tonight is your last service as red have to help each other at some point so first what I am gonna give one of those places we just have to keep communicating with each other as the red team gets going on their first appetizers over in dump it seems to talk a big game but doesn't really produce the kitchen bounce out I'm gonna walk with the scallop whoa Gabriel you don't either it's not even on this ticket you know I'm trying to get walking 30 OMA scallops Gabriel has done a good job cooking scallops and coordinating with the rest of his team scallops pista cook service and the blue kitchen like the red kitchen is off to a solid team Scott starts over you miss Eve Eve eating back in the blue kitchen Saban Gabriel is ready with his second attempt on the VIP fish order salmon [Music] what is he doing there's just stuff to need to move on yeah and so improvement sometimes it hurts really bad but yeah sky let it roll off I know you've worked with him for so long now and it's hard somebody coming in that hasn't been through that to try to can understand it you know well this is the thing it's the mistakes that are being made should never happen and so when they do their catastrophic I mean people have their food and don't have their food and stuffs not coming out and it truly affects him like he gets so upset right so you take it you know sorry chef my bad and just move on sure can't let it get to you yeah let it get to your head you know tomorrow's a new day I always wake up and put my feet down on the floor and I'm like you know what today's new that thanks so much for doing thanks thanks it's great to listen to other people's experiences what they've done or what helped them get through you know I've got it own up to my mistakes take every criticism to heart then make sure it doesn't happen blown and fought my ass off to be here I don't want anybody to go home at this point if I had to say one person was my biggest competition with vacation but it Scott he can't cook it sucks because I have to make the decision around who's it up on the chopping block Lucy Bennett are you gonna make the decision their best beneficiary so yeah my decision [Music] Jason blue team's nominee and why please [Music] nominated me do you know why and I've consistently done well here I'm a little fish as to why for me and Jason like I see a little lacking passion you know he has experience he has a lot of things that he even says over me he has but he hasn't been able to grow I haven't seen that side of him yet joy red team's nominee and why please [Music] why at this point in game we should all be flawless there should be no slip-ups there should be no issues no complaints about like teamwork I appreciate your nominees but despite of all that there's someone else I need to hear from Melanie [Music] today I was so disappointed in your performance the challenge was dreadful and tonight's service was your worst with that in mind I'm sorry to say you will not you will not be seeing your family anytime soon because you still have work to do here in Hell's Kitchen you know you here's your black jacket well done Katia's step forward please I've decided that you deserve a black jacket
