He’s Fishing in Our Water! | Deadliest Catch

650 miles Northwest of Dutch Harbor the weather really sucks out there right now on the wizard [Music] we're fishing right next to the Russian border farther north than anybody else fishes we did really well up here last year the season's just getting started for us so I'm gonna load it up with a bunch of gear late to the opilio grounds Captain Keith Colburn plants his flag in the far north betting the 200 000 pounds he needs are cozying up with their Russian comrades a Maritime border as soon as we're ready guys let me know and I'll get ready to dump it okay [Music] right now I'm just adding shots setting deep see what's out there set these things on a nice oh crap one time since I've heard Morse code on that emergency frequency Channel which means there's some serious happening in the world right now you know right now the U.S compressor are added and with military buildup on the Ukrainian border tensions are at their worst since the Cold War and I'm fishing right on the Russian border out here in the Bering Sea pushy those Russians seem to think everything's theirs might have an issue here when the riskies I got enough to worry about I just need to get crab in these spots the Stones Throw from Putin's domain Captain Keith approaches his inaugural opelio set ready to take American or Russian crab from the U.S side of the Border man this is not good not good not good okay I got some serious problems here well I've got a random boat on the radar here and he is uh getting right into our gear and that's I mean this is not a crab boat that is a trawler I can actually see the cables coming off the back side of the boat a rush controller right in the middle of my gear out of here they tear the bottom up kill everything in its path and they scoop up a couple of fish back over over me fishing in our water and he's tearing up our bottom and he's going right through my gear foreign [Music] man yeah yeah we got Raj three one five it should be over here 90 degrees hey OJ Eagle give me some eyes on the port side I can't find this next spot well I tell you why we couldn't find it it's about a half mile from where it's supposed to be Russian trawler is moving our gear snarling our stuff up who knows what else he did to the gear on the bottom [Applause] we just lost the pot slowly sinking into Oblivion this is oh I just lost four thousand dollars right there I need these guys out of here but I'm not going to be able to chase the Russians out of my Water by myself I need help time bandage he picked me up yeah hey Keith how you doing man get out I'm seeing good numbers but I've got trawlers out here and I've had major problems I had like three pots a couple of them gone drug into a tangle these guys are wiping me out wow that's crazy and I'm seeing lots of 300s and if you were willing to come down here and work with me we could literally build a wall maybe that'll keep them from coming through the area I don't want to think about that one I gotta grab up here too see I don't want to come down there and lose care it's a Russian trawler wow are you kidding me I tried to call him on the radio I've got nothing back and he's going right through my gear I need help [Music] 600 miles Northwest Johnny I see you right outside my window you're just about to the line there dude did you bring your passport yeah I got my passport right here Russians just a quarter mile from the Russian line we're setting six parts of the mile somebody still catch crab and we are close enough together grab some Captain's Keith and Jonathan dropped the Anvil on the Red Menace setting their gear in a tight grid making it impossible for draggers to pass without snagging their Nets on Time Bandit and wizard soaking pots hey put your flag up okay we got ours up this afternoon yeah you guys are going up there right now you're in front of us oh yeah it's a beautiful thing the American flag It's A Beautiful Thing Two one Bang [Music] yeah oh man that's beautiful dude hello Russia there you go we're here all right operation Anvil drop officially engaged start setting well they know we're here now we'll go up there and right in the nuts wow Chuck Norris ah feel down ah my nuts just getting started out here you know God Bless America give me up go me all go that's Operation and will drop we're dropping the animal on the rooskis we're gonna block them out with our crab pots and hopefully we chase them away 220 pots into setting their blockade captains Keith and Jonathan wall off the Russian trawler from plundering U.S Waters Jonathan you got me yeah I got you fine how are you doing over there we're doing good man we're getting real close we'll have this line sewn right up right on well you know what we've got so much gear in here any troller would be an idiot to try and come through this water now yeah hell yeah I put my gear so close together you can walk across them oh yeah same here we're defending America we're the front lines right now dude it's damn right go Team America right on John I'll talk to you soon USA USA we're going to cover every last square inch of this area I mean normally start your set at the border and set away from it instead I'm sitting right at the mortar run out of space guys current's really pushing me hard to get her over the side I don't know it doesn't even make any sense I'm opposed to trying to go over the line because I don't want to know what the consequences are I mean we've had Russian gunships out here before we're going to chase crabbers back over the line oh God take one from back here that's a chance to get in real serious trouble come on around baby come on around looking so good 49 feet all right we may have just gone 60 feet into the waters I hope we didn't just start an international incident mushroom Waters we made it we've been to Russia
