after nearly three weeks off the Rainbow Warrior volleyball team returns to the Teraflex to take on its most challenging opponent of the young 2019 season leading the way for second ranked Hawaii has seen your outside and two-time all-american Steinbach Tilburg averaging an eye-popping 5 kills per set through the first three matches coming up the first of a pair of non-conference meetings between the 8th ranked Stanford Cardinal and the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors [Music] and with that we welcome you inside the Stan Sheriff Center canola Lahey alongside Ryan Calais soo-ji Ryan take us through the Kaiser Permanente keys to the man before supper Stanford they have got to protect the pin Hawaii's outside hitter Steinbach so for autocar foon of Colton Hall heating for unbelievably high numbers coach saying that they have got to protect those pins in order to have a chance and for Hawaii its bust out the wd-40 this is a team that has not seen any action in 20 days they may be a little rusty and may need some help the Stanford Cardinal coming in seven and one their lone loss at the hands of Big West Conference power UC Irvine [Applause] but it is their first road match of the season they played all previous eight matches over there at Stanford meanwhile Hawaii they've played only three matches as part of the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Warrior Classic Hawaii thuria know but they haven't played in 20 days so it is that rest versus rust scenario here for the Rainbow Warriors serve receive on the opening point and it's righto like that start that great start for Hawaii going back there all-american rata para una nice way to get him involved early though Hawaiian financial FCU starting lineups scrolling at the bottom of your screen some good news for Hawaii Dalton's soul break who was questionable coming in with a quad injury did get the start here tonight injured his leg in the alumni match last week as that one is pumped down by Steven boy 69 junior from El Segundo California and Solia Lincoln is back to serves the Cardinal without one of their key outsides Eric baby 6-7 junior out for a few weeks due to injury so Hank and getting some of the that would go to Beatty as Steinbaum Tilburg sends it wide to serving one here and so very early on in the season for the Rainbow Warriors obviously just three matches in for them of any top 15 team they have played the fewest number of matches and so Stanford easily the toughest competition to this point for one yeah no doubt this will be the toughest challenge for Hawaii not only tonight and where they're at now but maybe of the season focus off is looking good there [Music] he didn't practice over see the debris set off the natural was he finding a way to connect with Solberg we having all week long after that quad spasm he suffered during the alumni match hitting 526 on the season coming in Stein with the serve sobre getting a good chunk of that block in the middle and here's the first swing by Jalen Jasper who goes sky-high in the point of contact the dig by gage Worsley and rato unable to put it down so a bump set tight to the net three that goes up Jordan Ewert [Music] there to help but that was all puddle powerful enough nice hand positioning and that is something head coach Charlie Witt said they worked on during this time off their blocking we'll see what kind of numbers they put up tonight credit their digs leader gage where's Leon scooping up that Jam Jasper swing he word again blocked out fingertips on it so today sets up Erato from the opposite position dug up by Kyle D'Agostino who's Jasper again got under it he sends it former University of Hawaii quarterback Ivan Jasper who is now the offensive coordinator at Navy there he is in the house with wife Donna his younger brother Jaron also here and he's Skye's Ryan touches over 12 feet [Applause] and that's gonna be an interesting matchup tonight watching the Jasper vs. collar course Colton Powell known for his Hopson although undersized but we'll see how that matchup goes throughout the night hey Stein continues to serve good little run here it's five serving two first frame Stan Sheriff Center it's been a minute since we've seen this Hawaii team on the floor viewer took something out into the opposite take a look back here you see an odd assistant play high ball to the left we just cut shots that back to area for you were second on the team three and a half kills per set hitting 324 strong numbers there for the outside senior Joe Worsley those quick middle two so great [Applause] [Music] it's that 3/7 a senator like Joe Rossi you have got to be ready because that ball can be coming at any time so break not the best contact but a kill nonetheless and those are the tiny issues that you're a little concerned about because of all the time off right exactly we'll see it if they can smooth that out if the match goes along pressure she takes off more from San Clemente California last name sounds familiar it's for good reason dad Mark had a standout career here at the University of Hawaii in the men's volleyball program and is currently an assistant at UC Irvine so they squared off against one another and split a pair of matches earlier in the year there's rato [Applause] [Music] [Applause] great system playback time five Hawaii we see a lot of high balls going to rod works is speeding up the tempo of that back step splitting the double block of the central Cardinal so rattle pata Puna retreats back to serve as an alternate selection the last time we saw him in action at the Hawaiian Airlines Classic second on a team just over 4.1 kills per set three aces coming in pressure on got a good piece a gassman so Hawaii on the attack and it's so already a couple of early hitting errors for Stein buns over Stein looking really good in practice yesterday but in first few swings here looking a little out of system continue to track his progress throughout the night and he comes in with strong numbers second national and kills percent and hidden percentage Colton call it a story he's developed into in this very early stage of the season for Hawaii so town redshirt junior from muck alive Luque hammers deserve and so stanford out a system and sending it long as you were and that's one thing coach coffee talked about is being able to contain hawaii serve he recognizes that hawaii may be one of the best serving teams in the country he says in order for us to even have a shot we've got to pass well that time call getting them out of system with a fantastic so good look there john costing in his thirteenth season overseeing this program took over back in 2007 and there's Jasper double block so six serving nine here coming up for the Cardinal again that is going to be a sneak we're going to be calling all night long Jalen Jasper named MPSF Offensive Player of the Week the week of January seventh he sees a lot of sets and has to carry a lot of the offensive load for this car that's Cardinal squad there's pressure pass there by Cowell quick middle set Gasman it spin bag around we're going to jail stat that first hit and then the block back gas been off to a fairly slow slide in the first matches of the season but he is one player as we know he can really turn it around he's still got the blocking numbers though nine blocks sucking on the team coming in to go to something off of that serve they go back row set a fee were the pancake save attempt to buy cowl for not even though I think II thought he is atop the ladder on the opposite side making the call Ernie Howe is down on the floor and Mark Nakashima and West Kawachi the to nine judges so here's Paul Bischoff the setter junior from Wheaton Illinois and where's Lee tried to catch him napping which scrambled their to return it by Stanford your Stein on the outside goes off the ball D'Agostino quick middle and I'm able to put it down as Moy the center's dunk there righto and it falls down [Applause] little awkward play that time a lot of net a lot of things happening towards the on the ball on the net but don't worry you gotta love his aggressiveness he was ready to hit that ball he was gonna push with Alton Solberg aside and wanted to get a piece of that action senior from araga older brother the Libero gage their parents are in the house here tonight get the gist of it the largest lead of this opening set for Hawaii and it plots a timeout by John cos T and the Cardinals return to sender Hawaii bye-bye bring the warrior volleyball on spectrum Sports is sponsored by Bank of Hawaii and Hawaii Honda dealers welcome back Hawaii hitting 250 here while building this five-point advantage 12 7 and set number one against Stanford two kills a piece resultant sold brig and a rato pot a point over on the other side Stanford hitting negative 0 6 2 John frosty signaling from that timeout Joe where's Lee serving out of the break it comes up with a one-hand to dig right there good get Serato sets up styling off the block little scrambling play here for Stanford incan with the heavy hand good chased down there by Stein 3 chance here for the Cardinal backside it's Hanken again almost scooping that one up those days worse news thanks and frustration well her and point there for the Cardinal nice it by henkins remember this is a player who only played in seven sets so far this season filling in for the injured Beatty but looking very composed out there tonight is their Baikal Worsley survey Eternal City with the point on top of picking up his first kill prior to that he was hitting negative 667 constantly looking to get on track with that : coming in second in the nation in the latest ADC a pole Stanford at number eight I started the year 13 12 straight year that they have been great to start the season what were they with the jumper [Applause] hidden my harpoon up of what made that play was quotes in cow log nice touch on the block against after slowed down the defense and in that pit by pop you know so fourteen seven eight your thoughts on how Hawaii is licked here so far and said one looking fresh [Applause] looking like the 20 days off actually so the rebel warriors hit 15 first time out on the floor welcome back jack fact tonight leading the country the Rainbow Warriors tops in the nation in three offensive categories coming into this match hitting percentage kills per set and assists were said well be it a small sample size but certainly the way this opening frame has played out this far Hawaii a 15-8 looking every bit like the leaders in those categories Stein sends it across out of the timeout this is a way with the slants block back jasper the over-the-shoulder touch and so here's your eyes [Music] and autism one blocker up there great set Bob Worsley decides to go down the line hearts to stop that even he has to crack a smile he's right at his percent average already for kids in this open train a Forel run being enjoyed by Hawaii but nobody accounting for the benefit of their students boy easiest kill of the night for me Belton saw brig getting caught off guard that time for getting his assignment you see the numbers on Roy hitting 481 nice hitting percentage on the season thus far outside that's third on the team but out out his hitting percentage assists and he's hittin the 57 through three matches companies with tonight and hearts believe this is a player that has never seen that significant amount of playing time before this season looking like an afro up there Jakob teller now out there to serve softball swing it see were blocked back and gassmann paddy bring booze own attempt 21st came into contact with the neck he knows he let a golden opportunity buy right there as that becomes angry beavers hammer no challenge even on the display Steve there gasps ma'am I'm just bringing down the net with that fall the one blocking a lot of touches one tip works best here's that light set coming down this almost will sort of catapult him he gets a lot of energy see the excitement and he's the emotion after that hit on Tilburg deadly from that pipe set so caught up on off now will serve [Applause] overpass it's where you get the swing couldn't get it down fresh show tried to go back set to Jasper here's to lie to the pin and it's a freebie before Hawaii on the sagacity of Joe Mosely I'm out once again by Stanford Wilkie but here Joe easily last time we saw him he was collecting the hardware Most Outstanding Player of the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Warrior classic third in the nation in assists per second coming into tonight but it's those kinds of plays that sort of separates him from some of the other centers in country you know it's so rare to have a player like Joe where's a food is just almost like having another coach on the court always reminds me a little bit of a kavika Shoji when he played at Stanford as well could be good loan speech on the court there Joel very much so in that same role of course is that Roger who's in the house there you see him there steena you know they were in practice as well yesterday watching their boys but coming slim approaching family being ingrained in volleyball has really paid off the joy and he really just loves this game and loves the scene one of those guys that's the price of admission by himself just to see how he operates it Charlie wave basically saying hey look you got the reins you can run full board this is your offense go out there and do what you do and we've seen the impact so far and there's more to come there continue to work on new wrinkles before this offense and with a player like Joe words these you can just about do anything if the pass is there you H at Lennox reaches out to you online each week with updates and promotions through its H mail a newsletter to register visit Hawaii athletics comm click on the H mail bucket it's simple and it's free the words Lea parents Roger and Christine as you saw as you mentioned Ryan they are here but only for tonight's match they're not hanging around Sunday because that's the Super Bowl of course we'll be here Sunday 6 p.m. start time for round 2 Hawaii and Stanford and we know you out there watching you'll be here too this is the game to watch right it's the biggest sporting event of the day that day Sanford the tape outside it's not the best content back time by you word I think that's to what kind of cotton waterpower pulled off a little off god they're sort of some back spin on that ball but kill nonetheless some numbers for you a hitting 480 the clip for the program where's that goes outside to power which is dance at noon [Applause] [Music] provide us with an array of shots making some different kinds of decisions depending on the set and there was an example right there let's balance serving 11 here in set 1 [Applause] protocol really lighting it up tonight from behind the service light red sauce great execution you said while putting the WoW in Makkah wow that's a I like what you did what are the odds we go to Maui Wowi reference at some point tonight [Applause] almost right there thank it goes off the block where's Li the jump [Applause] example what we were talking about just moments ago doing the watch this step are words that he looks like he's gonna attack the ball sets it to gassmann great execution by the Warriors 22 serving 11 Hawaii has Stanford doubled up right now on the first or night I get a point back this is a Stanford team that beat the number two team in the country UC Irvine a few weeks ago on four sets their team that has competed with some of the top teams in the country and Hawaii just handing it to them here in this first set yeah among their wins all at the time nationally ranked Ball State Ohio State was number seven Purdue Fort Wayne they were able to sweep a pair of matches against just last week as style whitey offense sort of a lob set sign but silver coming inside we didn't hit that ball out on the pin he actually hit that ball in the area of 22 area splitting the block so here's James Anastasiades for the first time back to serve [Applause] and three serving 12 back rows set goes to Ebert and he's able to convert MPSF player of the week on January 21st s UCI they split the two matches that we buddy working four point eight kills per set 2.75 digs per set in those two matches this shawl with the Surrey for Stanford here Stein on the outside biggest block to know if it's Jasper with the goods of the other side a little faster set than Stein not sure who's ready for that but great block by Jasper's thing low and tight to the pin you can see a faster set but a bigger block by Jasper for a team serving 23 the pass there by Colin bafreux set to Colton punched up in the air Bishop able to get all of it was inking but Robin Cole giving chase on that back line was the last to touch it that's a great shot by hinking seeing the odd assistant play here he just kind of does a crossbody high line shot it looks like a Beach High Line shot that time proving you don't always have to hit the ball hard some stands for putting a little run together first raters urato against a double block and that's dug up over [Music] five kills now for pata poonam error-free hittin 714 and Joe Leslie to try to finish the deal here at set one gets amount of sister Jasper from off the net Worsley touched Cades Worsley to set throttle couldn't put it down Stanford on the attack here's Jasper [Applause] by that blow [Music] in set number one against the eighth ranked team in the country the Stanford garble [Music] 25:15 they'll slip sides [Music] our whoo [Applause] [Music] Bruna fruitcakes it'd be just an offense if they're one of the best opposites in the country not only doing it offensively but blocking as well carpoon up right now hitting 625 five kills on eight swings no errors and as you mentioned three blocks to go along with it four and a half total team blocks for the Rainbow Warriors they hit 407 in that first set on the other side Stanford held to a hitting percentage are you surprised as to just how sharp but what you look after the long layoff certainly it's as we already mentioned its toughest challenge across the net in terms of the level of play of foreign opposition and they were able to smoke them 25:15 yeah very impressed by the delivery of this Hawaii I think just the attitude you can see when they came out here they were aggressive they were chomping at the bit to get back on here but one of the things that surprised me aren't just maybe I'm impressed with the most is the efficiency of this Hawaii team the way that they operate this is a very good squab we'll see if they can continue to keep this high level throughout the night throughout the match [Applause] seems like Hawaii and Stanford have played every year in collegiate volleyball both on the men's side and the women's side however they didn't play last year here on the men's side it was the first time in about 37 years that Hawaii and Stanford did not match up that's partially because of last year being the inaugural year of the Big West Conference of what you joining that conference Stanford remaining in the MPSF but John costly saying hey look we got to get out to Hawaii it's not gonna be every year but this is certainly a rivalry that we want to maintain we want to keep Hawaii on the schedule as frequently as possible I know he loves making this trip yeah and you look at his rosters in the past he loves the Hawaii kids as well we saw in that 2012 run where there was a slew of Hawaii kids the Shoji Spencer McLaughlin's Brad Lawson last year era evident Rica's having to stand up career so get on number of Hawaii players like going to Stanford so no doubt coach Ghazni likes coming here as well connections daily Jasper [Applause] [Music] fresh hope is that mark this University of Hawaii ball speaking of guys who stand up mr. Shoji [Music] [Applause] [Music] just coming back from visiting his he complained internationally he went on oh so it's as cold as Midwest yeah you're right we definitely send our best wishes out to all of those who are feeling the effects it's pink and pearls in just Stanford gets the kill we tend to wince when it's a little cold outside certainly it was pretty rainy and stormy yesterday today the rain was coming down we were driving here to the arena which told me one thing it must be Punahou Carnival weekend not a Punto trying to slice it cross-court misses back and we may have a challenge here from Charlie wait I don't know some of the players urging him to bust out the replay challenge battle but looks like they will stick with Nicole so it's to serving zero here good start for Stanford as they try to bounce back up to the 25 15 loss in instances of Hawaii being a wax pencil with an aggressive set by jour Worsley that one got away from him he was running over to the left side tried to back set that kind of loss it so I'm about to word not a lot of options with that kid there Stein Alain trying to get going and [Music] [Applause] his standard suit why it held somewhat in check in that first set three kills for errors hit negative 1/11 and that kill right there brings him back to the flatlining number but you see on the season just going monster a good connection there official rate set that sci fi Bischoff who is fourth in the country and assist percept that time shooting that three set from the ten meter line Bischoff going back to 2016 was the national high school player of the year according to volleyball magazine for Glenbard West High School in Illinois 42 and O without losing a single set there as that goes down and Stanford asel something going here you're trying to flip the script and this second stanza [Applause] one if you're doing an ice shop already in this early part of the second set of just touching Hawaii's offensively giving a lot of stops at the net and they would complete nice transition defense around they're concerned from Charlie Wade seven and ten versus Stanford is his head coaching tenure to the season [Applause] so Moya gets ready to serve here Cardinal up early in set two where's Lee goes outside it's Cowell took something off good dig in the back row by Hankin any work did he get a touch no time [Music] it's both swinging to Georgia II work he's got five kills to leave the Cartman and Solberg with the surf for Hawaii outside it's Jasper lock getting good chunks on the Jasper touches [Applause] [Music] yeah we're seeing tonight to maybe the best opposites in the country Jasper versus power pulled up and right now Farah pulled up standing out six kill of the night hitting 455 Jasper right now hitting negative 220 to John Costas and Jalen Jasper is an incredible talent one of the most talented players that he's had the privilege of coaching but he says hey look he's still a sophomore he still has much room to grow in terms of his IQ and just some of the instincts out there on the floor there he is again [Applause] must have heard us talking to Bobby get me some Redemption that time that Jasper actually not playing high school volleyball his junior and senior year because he transferred to a school that did not offer men's volleyball so he became a basketball player but a terrific career as a basketball standout and now getting back to volleyball sort of relearning some of the tools of this game he was still the number one recruit nationally according to volleyball magazine I was just on pure physical sends it out much to the chagrin of the SSC fans and I think Tyler way is going to challenge that one he busts out the paddle and the paddle looking a little more official these days it is you know we kind of had some paddle issues right for a while there they had the two paddles and they lost one so it went into the storage room then they were using like the laminated green index card which really anybody could have brought to the arena this one has the Hawaiian Airlines logo I'm not sure if they're paying for that sponsorship does look much more official yeah as official as a ping-pong paddle at a men's volleyball game can look there you go that's right after the match to play some ping-pong is just to me whole purpose is just to make the paddle look that much more unofficial putting our faces next to it [Applause] about Ernie hole taking a look at this one and pet looks like it's in that does look good [Music] [Applause] and ernie hope quickly popping off the headset and yeah he's gonna call them goodbye Charlie he's got a pretty good percentage so far in 20 with regard to the each coach getting three [Applause] unless the goes to a fifth set and each side gets one extra he clawing its way back into the second set earlier why right now just checking on their rotation making sure that they have the right server going back after that challenge call [Music] [Applause] [Music] inset to his mansion Hawaii ranked second in the latest ABCA poll they opened at number three that was the highest opening ranking since 2005 for this probe Paso is breathing a sigh of relief there's property defense I'm putting up some cannons from behind the service line Jordan II work now to serve seven aces on the year coming in diving pass by gage Worsley outside it goes to foul [Applause] [Music] and even in the oddest system play you can see there Joel Wars is sending from behind a three meter line they know what's going on to call when he finds a way to split the Block Grant High scene into area six soon time ni al Player of the Year at King Kekaulike [Applause] [Music] [Applause] his cheering section is becoming one of the fan favorites simply because of his background story and obviously his talent especially gettin off of the Teraflex 64 mile an hour served there what I do my gauge Worsley on the heater by pressure Stanford goes outside this time the Hankin dug up by Worsley again Joe cross-court the star [Applause] and jage worth destroying why he's one of the best the barrels in the country the number one worst recruit in the bear coming out of high school you can see here digging that first ball and the second hit Steinbaum Tilburg going OT t over the top in the backline page Worsley chose Hawaii over UCLA you SC to join his brother for a couple of years by Jordan Ebert and that breaks what was the first time of this second set certainly seeing much more feisty Stanford Cardinal team here in set number two and it is either fresh hill back to serve good year in sports for guys named Tyler is rato from the back row [Applause] the word upstairs and who was named the offensive play of the week a few weeks ago got that much in that time could not stop this rise and rip by par pruned off right off the chin [Applause] seven kills he does have a hitting error now but he's hitting 500 he's sending it each and every time a little miscommunication here free chance for Hawaii can they cash in it is Stein against the double block goes off of he were chased down by D'Agostino and another free opportunity for Hawaii Worsley here's Stein coming inside the pin layout save D'Agostino gesture deep corner gets the kill by the partner that the carnival chanting there got to win these long rallies you see they're just to blame hi hands Pat Desmond being stuck back there playing defense they survive not one but two three-ball opportunities by Hawaii that's like surviving two power plays and hockey pinball action back and forth looked like they were using the ping pong Pat is right there but Stanford wins that one where does you see before Wesley this time trying to attack them getting blocked that tide gauge saves it momentarily has actually Hanken on the final put down there here's Rado trying to restore orbit for hole and trailing by two by daunting sobering the team [Applause] [Music] and so great-looking healthy back time than that all the preset we were in the first set earlier he kind of got burned on that same play this time making the adjustment making sure he stayed home nice block there by Dalton my soul break wrapped up twelve solo stumps a season ago he was all over that particular sequence nine serving ten as we inch along here in set number two busy weekend here in mono we've already had a couple of us sporting events sorry but one he named basketball on Wednesday Rainbow Warrior basketball last night but no another Long Beach State [Music] golden opportunity at that time for hinking one-on-one against bonds hilberg he decides to go down the line hitting out at cross-court was wide open Hawaii catching a break that's a new age we go tonight doubleheader of hoops tomorrow we're gonna hug the floor first going up against Cal Poly then Hawaii manly basketball will take on UC Santa Barbara Stanford another hard-fought point there then of course we wrap up the weekend with you H and Stanford round two my son [Applause] talking to the two head coaches didn't seem overly concerned about missing out on being able to at least traditionally watch the Super Bowl as rod oh did he get a touch yes there was a touch and it's a point for the Legion volleyball coach built a kazoo you know the greatest of annual entertainment pieces I bet that both of these coaches are saying that because their teams aren't in the same ball C word awful blocking down from Stanford side of the net here and said to the finger we didn't see in the opening Frank doing a nice job as you mentioned earlier just slowing down some of this Hawaii attack as their blockers are reading things a lot better the passing is also well and II work helping to lead the charge here 7 kills hitting 214 Worsley [Music] this has got to be one of the best connections between the middle and the center that $0.03 so hard to track F if you're the other middle block B C or D they're taking a peek no blockers up and the key is Solberg is always off always ready to go so we're talking for the fifth time here and set to not a freshman Yahoo Otello once again with the jump sir no shot by you were drops in the middle of the floor Jews can't fire moments the Rainbow Warrior defence difference in the serving philosophies between two teams the Stanford definitely we talked to coach costly before the match they go for consistency they like their serves to get in me me their defense can play behind that whereas Hawaii very aggressive from behind the service line mom's trying to put pressure clearly Hawaii serving though giving them a little giving Stanford a lot of trouble that percent charlie way playing the percentages in terms of a liqu world corner some Serbs and get some points whereas Durham cost he was very simple about it and say hey look if we don't serve it in we don't have a chance of getting back home ironically the out served there by Jasper and his pressure and that nice do face and the pressure his lips PSF honorable mention last year as a freshman was sixth in the league hitting for 10 on the season and the only Cardinal to start all 26 matches at the same position a year ago a dealt with injuries oh Claire again got to see continued to get fed the ball in transition in service leap at Gasman try to establish him a little bit more in this Hawaii offense so 14 all foul catches the net diving pass there by Hank endears Hawaii on the attack Stein the left-handed touch good up by gage Worsley Joe on the second touch swing unable to put it down Jasper come swoopin on [Applause] and Stanford gets the 15 first so timeout on the floor it was all Hawaii set one is that for trying to change them welcome back will the Rainbow Warrior blocking certainly playing an integral role in their success in set one when they took the first rain 25 15 it's been somewhat quiet here and set to but the Akamai roofing report 28 team blocks for the Rainbow Warriors this season that includes tonight's match that is one area that head coach Charlie would say they specifically worked on in this time off is to be able to block the situational blocking and also one-on-one blocking something that's a very advanced not a lot of teams spend a lot of time doing one-on-one blocking head coach Charlie Wade saying it's going to be important for their blockers to be able to recognize hand positioning and movements when left alone at the net this solid crowd we got on hand here this Friday evening affair Hawaii in Stanford a classic rivalry and intercollegiate volleyball Worsley goes to gas [Applause] [Music] there was a little bit of concern going into that timeout don't worry went down somewhat awkwardly after that kill attempt limped over to the bench area didn't seem like they were overly concerned though and here is back out there immediately that looked like he ran into Pat Bassman before that time out a good time out for them to come in get situated a job that bro said it C worked to him save righto awkward position their forwards way but he's still aiming to serve up [Applause] this is such a hard set to make take a look at this play right here rusty blocking turning around side setting straight up and down on the money to Steinbach Tilburg I guess he isn't their first lead of the second set for Hawaii honest toss the Otters with the serve wonderfully time to play that time the dump shot by Paul Bishop [Applause] [Music] [Applause] wisely went to dump this ball catching powerful enough sleeping on the defense's side dish often Aeronautics and Astronautics major my former major liner back row said cowl came flying in the dig he was shoulder was not very long-lasting and so great was able to finally get a downpour for the Hawaii point nice little combo play that time they rat Stolberg on a three and that nice full flight to Cowell then it terribly saved but Belton picking up his fourth kill Hawaii back in front again here in this second set by Jo Worsley middle SATs cut down by Moy to even things up again this feels a little more vintage Hawaii Sanford right yeah I think Stanford settled town passing a lot better here in this second set what his block has not been nearly as prevalent the hands [Applause] like sec sequences ago to Colton Cowen we saw them go to Stein earlier in the match on that as well how much does that open up this office to have not one but two guys who can gently hit that set yeah it's it's rare that you have one player that can hit it at that speed let alone two and let's not forget the D set that they also have to par pool op so Hawaii having a lot of attackers at the time [Music] as Jordan he works able to go just inside that block you were now a senior out of Antioch California is an all MPSF honorable mention back in 2017 as a sophomore the Stanford team they want just six matches a year ago again injury-plagued all over the place and jumping saved by Hankin on the pot opponents swing and then Jasper going OTT and Stanford jumps ahead Jasper showing his rage as we take a look here on another on assistant play nice high finish when old or so break into the backcourt right in front of a diving want over 9x pause happy [Applause] but the foam fingers gone quick needles a silvery [Applause] across Chilton's so great not looking like you missed any practice at all look at this set great play by Hawaii and a great another great connection between so Drake and Worsley soul break four kills no errors at 900 soft serves at that time it's Jasper Cowell with the solo block got a good touch on it Stein from the back row hits it into the man you are interested in that matchup Jim there was Jasper at six seven versus Colton Cowell at six one I was able to get some finger tips on it yeah and sometimes that's all you need you don't necessarily need this stuff block if you can slow things down with a nice touch block and allow your defensive play transition and call has done a nice job with that tonight regardless Stanford at one the past thereby wears to tie things up again place started off by cage Worsley terrific pass diving to the end line which makes it even more difficult he's diving away from the court to get that pass on the money and another three sipping Hawaii Hawaii definitely establishing their middle here this third said if you think of the numbers with Jo Worsley so these the fun really important serves here hers Potter puno 20 serving twenty I was a laser beam overpass [Applause] that's been slowly having a great night here hitting 667 timeout Stanford Hawaii one in step two welcome back all right let's check out how it works presented by Central Pacific Bank Bryan Hawaii adding a new wrinkle to their offense here it all starts with the perfect hop by deeper you see Pat has been going for a back one holding the middle for just a second in Steinbach over coming inside not hitting at the pin whoa whap inside set perfectly executed again starting off with a terrific first pass so returning the live action he weren't able to touch it off of the Worsley block and down and we're tied if you're John Kasich appreciate especially after performance in the open example and II working at his tenth kill hitting 360 really carrying the Stanford squad and then gets the ace has been not only good but gets a little fortunate right there at a most opportune time for the Cardinal they need a friendly cable role in front of a diving pancake save by gauge worse the exam by the Warriors Hawaii yet to lose a set here this season and Stanford certainly threatening here in set number two Cardinal hitting 520 in this second right now separately just looking for a lot more comfort all around again and led by keyword to be carrying the offensive load right now despite [Music] I'll put you look at Gillian Jasper only hitting 143 but we were really helping to carry this team and again they're playing great defense around that block alright well let's go inside the numbers presented behind again we have a break in the action and the numbers 585 Stein bonds hilberg that is his percentage coming into tonight leading the big Westin hitting percentage grotto caught a point off second at 500 coming in in Colton towel at 457 so some gaudy percentages obviously for Hawaii all the way around but again a small sample size as Hawaii only played three matches prior to tonight yeah well we're talking to coach costly before this match he recognized those lofty numbers and said that if one is hitting about six hundred they are going to be a tough team to be not only tonight but really throughout the season but away right now meeting [Music] for the match yeah he mentioned the USC match which was the championship classic he said hey the Trojans actually played pretty good defense they just couldn't quite convert it offensively their transition game wasn't there he said if we can play that level of defense he feels confident that his guys are skilled enough to be more successful in at least here in set two that's been the case [Applause] Worsley back row to Stein a good dig there by Jasper outside is Hankin dougga by hirato thought of who knows we'll get the set from behind the line in there [Music] as we head into the punch moments here whoo all tied at 22 this is where your stars come on Joe Ward's gonna have to decide which players he goes to in this crunch situation that's I'm Park wound up helping to get Hawaii even at 22 a dig and the kill on that sequence parado he has nine foot downs diving passed by D'Agostino from off the net incan is dug up Gasman falls to the floor Stein with the dank diving saved there by Jasper here's thinking a second time dug up by collar so gauge Worsley goes Tybalt a style dug up there by II worked Jasper from behind the line the block out a piece Joe where's that goes back sighs Oh righto D'Agostino Josefa men home you soft blue hairs all over the court great defense by coal team D'Agostino would seem impressed indeed gates words to play great defense after putting up a wall even Donald Trump would be impressed by and a timeout taken by the Stanford Cardinal that was one of those rallies I feel like and I'm not sure if the analytics would necessarily back this up but I feel like we're seeing longer rallies more frequently on the men's side the last few seasons I would agree with you and I think that just goes to show the level of play the addition of the Libero position as well really help them see increase in rallies and that's really why that position was that it really should should create a defensive positions so players like gate pose they can really showcase their talents back Espino as well a tremendous defensive player in his own right whose name MPSF defensive player polly from last week last year actually sat feet Devon Enriquez stand up from on the Big Island to hold that gazebo out last year Jeff so that he could compete here in the senior season and we're they proving to be a valuable asset on the defensive end for the Cardinal yeah that's a pretty great story he and John Kaase basically saying it was a mutual decision he wanted to have his moment he knew that that wouldn't take place with Evan and Rica's as great as he will the second team all-american selection last year at the Libero position says that you were all red shirt which is what he did which is kind of a rarity for a guy who has already lost three seasons with a program and here he is now as the guy and playing very well here tonight getting his master's degree and actually his sister Mackenzie play that Florida another great player McKenzie can buy casino painful Mary rightwise out there it's either filed D'Agostino trying to help keep his semen in this second set and his dad Randy a Hall of Fame girls volleyball coach with its whole let you buy one here out of the timeout 23 722 Powell with the cereal that girls set at see work and he has been doing that all the man's too long kill number 11 for joining us [Applause] going through the pipe here see classmen getting caught up going with the middle not able to rebound and get that pipe set in you were picking up yet another chill impression four aces coming into this Beach where's Lee gets it up Joe wit the pump set staying off the block and out gave her the very last ducked out of the way in Hawaii gets the point and it is a little Bowl for the - pretty follicle IQ by worsley straddles the line here recognizes where he's at and a little bit of cream to make sure that ball was down gassman deserve tickles the tape could pass there by hinking Jasper comes flying in touches over he got up there that time again another back roll attack this time going down the line picking up his sixth kill of the night tied for the 17th time here in set 2 righto at the high ball sense gets it down he's into double figures and kills it's a battle of the opposites here para una Sol marine Joshua / head point shark cross-court and this is a great location for Hawaii that Worsley back to serve and Hawaii's best blocking line up in the front line the biggest block that they can provide at any point in a match where's Li the team leader in aces coming into this match 25 serving 24 II tried to be precise with it and flopped it into the net [Applause] [Music] Justin thought by Joe to go for that shot very little things that no that I would question Joe was the about twenty-five whole Mirza goes back side it's time [Applause] [Music] chants and locking up set to for Hawaii third [Music] hitting his fish sighs of course of notation when he's positioned on that right side PDF is 9/10 of the night master and get it going in a bit at the buck 74 he's back to serve Stanford those middle two swiped by my good pickup by gage [Applause] [Applause] against the 8th ranked team in the country to crack open [Music] [Applause] welcome back courtside canola he next to Ryan Cole a suji Ryan take us to the McDonald's match statistics and that hitting percentage Hawaii hitting for eight teen on the match compared to 262 for Sanford and again that blocking something Hawaii has really worked hard on in this time off six bucks to one Hawaii doing a nice job of just settling down and I think most impressively what doesn't show this statute when Hawaii was pushed in that second set in the latter parts they really turned it up a notch and were able to close out yeah that would be the question I would ask is is what does that say about this team I mean any any team at these sort of upper echelon of intercollegiate volleyball when it's rolling they can look great Hawaii certainly did that in that opening frame but when they got pushed when they got challenged we saw them respond it's almost like they have another drive another gear that they turned it up into and again a lot of it goes to those star players that they have on the pin are funa and Vaughn Tilburg really providing that offensive power for Hawaii getting them that needed set up we saw actually the same thing happened last week against USC when Hawaii was challenged in that second set USC almost came back and stole that second set but Hawaii like they did tonight really turned it around turned it into another gear and was able to continue so far their streak of winning consecutive sets still alive [Music] I promise you this match has been more exciting than perhaps what that beretta has felt so far tonight but you know what it's comfortable in here it's climate-controlled I can see how that happens set three underway an overpass by Stein we were able to put it down there as Moy and I'll Stein with the swing but you have two sets to know the touch by Jesper diving save gauge set Joe turns over mrs. why Stein with nine kills hoping to buck 74 prior to that hitting error is now at 120 so now the typical Stein night which kind of makes what Hawaii has done so far going up two sets to none all the more impressive he's getting the kills just not the efficiency that we're normally used to see here's the bowel fat back row free Swain for Dalton what a save there by e words Joe Worsley couldn't put it down with a net violation [Applause] rage that time a field day Hawaii hitters we saw Paulo with this person it's all great following up and then Worsley with the hit proving that the Cardinals are ready to play defense right here take a look at this II work saved one-handed save going out saving it momentarily before the net violation Germany word has been impressive we mentioned Stanford struggling last season just six wins they finished tied for sixth in the MPSF lost in the opening round of the NBA SF tournament but they had injuries all over the place they did not have a single match where all 18 players were available they had to utilize 12 different starting lineups throughout the season [Applause] [Music] [Applause] picture-perfect block that time to blockers go up Vaughn Tilburg and Solberg and you can see their silver dropping his right hand knowing that he has help on the left stealing the net even though D'Agostino with the bass as he fell to the floor and getting it by the block that time the Stephen the losses from last year's roster for Stanford aforementioned libero Evan Enriquez middle blocker Kevin rates fall who is a second team all MPSF selection they are dealing with the injury to Eric baby but thus far this season on hood it's been easier for John Hawks team to manage it essentially clips with some subs out there night after night Stanford we talked about a couple of guys who have won MPSF Player of the Week honors Stanford letters have accounted for all four MPSF Player of the Week awards or have had either a defensive or offensive MPSF better than we thought every week this season as part of privileged unable to get that kill great scramble there by Stanford righto [Applause] Sanford keeping the ball alive we also saw a date by gage Worsley in between that both defensive players on both sides that really putting on an exhibition here in the early parts of set number three was rhino he was hosting his index finger he thought that that first kill was going down but a good play defensively by Stanford and rod almost irritated made sure the second time that time he goes through the plan [Applause] [Music] [Applause] 500 with just two hitting Arabs great save that time nice touch on the block by Colton Kahlo and again Jo Worsley nice control deck his brother steps in to set and par Poonam continuing his hot streak tonight the brothers Worsley doing what they have been advertised to do here throughout this season in this match [Applause] outside and it's he were he hit the pin [Applause] [Music] med violation also called on Sanford want to give a shout out to Eric Shoji who's watching all the way from Russia watching these performer team [Applause] here's Ewert somehow got it through that block with 12 kills oh gee one of the great ones we off the block libero of the Year award is named after him in most corners his name would be put forth as the best libero to play college volleyball Jamie Jasper awkward angle [Applause] that is a prime example of what Coach bossy was talking to us about she says he's a great physical player he's still learning the games the other system plays is sort of plays where it's not any system that right there at a pregnancy I'm trying to go over on to hitting it under the net straight down to the floor that either Donna who played basketball at the University of Hawaii they meant here on this campus they're here along with younger brother Jaron we were told that the parents actually took them to the spot on campus where they actually met they didn't disclose exactly where that location was certainly a pretty cool story and cool experience family here on this trip out to the islands there they are great to see Jaron who underwent a heart transplant about a year and a half ago and he just looks fantastic great to see Ivan and Donna back in Monell [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Jamin along with pilot pressure JP Riley all us junior national team participants in Cuba last summer long little idiot almost to the wedding Eastside when I was out the door so 875 dear pata Poonam piece of that nip outside it goes to he work he was able to get it by Joe where's Liam down rest of you bid majority were briefly impressed by the numbers that he's putting on tonight the go-to player ping of his 13th kill and that time because of the efforts pressure really coming on here in the third set Hawaii middle blocker getting stuck in the middle of that time to present a one-on-one opportunity for new work this time for the back [Music] [Applause] in van Tilburg looking great from that pipe set a lot of options he has a wide range with that pipes that can either go left or right that's I'm just going straight down the middle because of the failed block so Stein into double figures sound kills for him that we mentioned his name want to give a shout-out to Chris McLaughlin unable to be here two issues with the voice so he is now watching and we just wanted to say what's up Ryan soon and admirably appreciate and we know his wife though is actually here Beth McLaughlin sitting with Prosecco who was named to the Hall of Fame the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame just last week so congratulations to Becky blockhead well deserved now is the 2019 Flo Hyman all-time agree their recipient a hall-of-famer she's always been the most famous and greatest volleyball mind in [Applause] it goes into panties [Applause] Spencer of course would be number two victus Stein solo against Jasper and what you keeping it up the flow kill number 14 enough just saying enough is enough he does not want this magical any longer he's got a malasada with his name written on at the Kuno carnival he wants to get out of here cross-court kill by parking off a Bulgarian Dasher righto pot-au-feu no sound like you're interested in Steven boy get in the cooler the bus and the cardinal beginning to work there middle attack here we're seeing fresh so more involved more we're here getting a nice hit again so break will see the Karma continue to work that middle into the meta goes by this may be sacrilegious but I'm just gonna come out and say it I may be the only force abuse manual who does not love mamasan this is breaking news we should hit the only person in Hawaii and that a Portuguese was said that does not like malasadas cannoli for shame [Applause] yes [Applause] you may have pin out see here Stein bought a we're getting after it getting it caught up high up almost most definitely looking out but instead von Tilburg picking up the ace so three service aces make that four service aces for Hawaii compared to five errors pretty good ratio there Charlie late we'll take that every time here is Jasper going high hands middle doing a nice stop stopping that jaylen Jasper hit I mean Colton Cowell's jump is what the price of a mission just how high he gets that block another example of just that slowing that ball down outside it's cold up the ladder but whose line and wide so Stanford creeping back with into first error of the night for coal tried to go down the line cut that a little too close [Applause] [Music] there's rano on the back set and that goes wide [Applause] for Stanford so that's three straight here for the Cardinal they trail by just one that's something we have not seen in a while freedom hitting errors in a world by Hawaii all three attackers making errors when you hitting zero six two in this third set where's lepak sectors righto again and he goes along [Applause] these are in several instances unforced hitting energy yeah one on one opportunity I think Waddell little early on that last approach kind of stutter step a little for timing just a little offbeat University and popular so we're dead even thirteen circle so the elbows of his last stretch of set three Hawaii have 14 so can Colton for helping sober [Applause] here's tella tonsberg norway outside II work off the wall cannot jump another kill for joining over the number 14 for him and you notice it words kids are not be bored wrested hits that we're seeing from the Hawaii styling or some of his TV's he's just a very smart player knows what's in front of him that time using the block recognizing Jasmine was late closing and just went for that low steam going off castmates bright long it's served there by Jasper Stein of the diving bass rato from behind the line saga by D'Agostino keyword again the touch router brought the DAC the sign by cow one able to put it down scramble going out to the Cardinal [Applause] 2:15 first we haven't seen the block as we saw it set one but it was there welcome back let's check out the first wine bank top three NCAA kills per set in Hawaii at the top of the stack here and the very early goings of this 2019 season fourteen point seven [Music] kills per set I'm going to see there in that number three Long Beach State team that continues to look very impressive returning nearly everyone from that champion that battle between Hawaii and Long Beach State gonna be a big test and one of the key matchups in the country in the latter part of this season so out of the timeout 15 serving 14 Capernaum forces the overpass [Music] [Applause] [Music] has actually gotten better Apple were his careers those overpasses after taking a step back positioning himself well and hitting battles damper takes a timeout we'll do the same Hawaii up to it said three welcome back you see many of the fans here tonight we're in some of their H logo here the University of Hawaii athletics pushing B H day Friday campaign in fact you can find it on social media hashtag H day Friday I think they're trying to assimilate it with Aloha Friday but many of the fans here tonight apology if you find the Aloha shirt with the H logo she will win exactly what you buy to here in set three leading to sex tonight [Applause] [Applause] [Music] Jasper and his ability to touch over 12 feet Colton Caudill at six one touch in eleven seven I'm not sure what comparably is more impressive it's hard to say there but Cole just watching Powell mimics hid with soap effortless and he just saw this has another gear he continued to fly up and on that last play he went I seem to so not only is he jumping high he's hitting high as well it goes from Arado now while we're on the volleyball tip to the plug for the beach volleyball program Jeff Hall and the Rainbow Wahine the Duke Kahanamoku invitation will come out on February 23rd and 24th it's the opening weekend at the world-famous Queens beach they will take on defending champ UCLA he got Stanford in their Pepperdine and Saint Mary's rado gets under it again he has collected a few hitting errors here in the third set that's number five for him for the match and that's a one-point deal here in the third [Applause] birddog fi righto Jolie goes back role and signed with P little yelled through the net that time the emotions coming out from sidewalk silver you see here in a play that I think he's hitting probably the best out of all his hits tonight those pipe set coming out you see the emotion yelling maybe through the net or at the student section I can tell he lets the emotion loose especially after he puts one down i Scott McCall gets ready to serve [Applause] straighten up or my threshold just 'less he's gonna be bouncing volleyballs for several years going forward one of the hardest hitters we've seen so far this season yeah gets up quick nice hit by pressure he had 11 kills in the win over UCI interesting enough he was actually playing against his father who is the assistant coach for the Anteaters he picks his moments perfectly bring past the five gasping goes hard to hold the middle and worsley putting it right in the middle of the court [Applause] 19 the serving 17 honest osteitis [Applause] let's service error number seven matches the amount of errors Stanford does have pieces compared to just one but it's a one-point affair here in the third I what you have two sets tonight [Applause] and Planck dish off with the sir Chris Rado listed like they are right there perfect pass tours he having a bunch of options you see that time a split bunk by Stanford there's just so many options that this ye often presents that as a blocker it's hard to read where worse is going to go we need to do that sort of lollipop topspin serve what do you mean it's a great idea just the execution obviously not where he wanted it you'd see the Stanford passes were actually backing up while he was serving so he's trying to catch them off-guard a second time overpass iwere couldn't get it down because gage scooped it up Stein on the backside dug up tight to the net places into the Teraflex double-digit dates for kids were free tonight he saved that overpass on the serve perfect Dave and again PARP you know giving yet another kill 16 tonight for par fou nothing in 355 gauge has been deflecting bullets to some of them [Music] several important saves here to rob the evening for Hawaii remember gauge where Z named to the All Freshman team last year as a defensive specialist that played in just three rotations per set very rare that you see a player get that accolade with the limited playing time as he was playing behind our partner tonight Tooey Tooey letter who's in the corner with the corner crew tonight but I think were learning a lot from tui during that time and also really proving to be a valuable asset recognized by the coaching's coaches from across the conference naming him to that all freshmen team last season and doing it in the rivalry game the rivalry match with Stanford mr. teams again didn't play last year but the Cardinal preseason picked 40 in the MPSF and I think it's good that both coaches have the desire to see this rivalry continue going for as frequently as possible that was gonna be one of the challenges in sort of the the breaking off of the Big West teams from the MPSF that a lot of those natural rivalries that were on the conference schedule year after year they would have to then require some effort to be scheduled going forward he knew that was going to be a challenge but this is definitely one I think the fans will just so many quality scenes the rivalries were established over the years Stanford being one UCLA being another BYU another MPSF opponent that has really and people loved coming through those matches so Charlie way doing all he can to continue those rivalries and bring these teams back as often as he can happy why you want a schedule act Provo part of the BYU Invitational that's on March 23rd Jasper straight up in the air by jail rattle goes over press Roy and thankfully the rest of press row appear to be okay [Applause] see here again another high hit by Jasper oh mercy saved it momentarily [Applause] powerful enough with the attempted save there I think PA announcer been Kia ina saw his life flash before 2721 great description he literally hung in the air that's I waited for the set a little early I think he was expecting a faster tempo I was able to adjust mid-flight and told the block with just a white shot Colton's sister Chandler plays for st. Mary's beach program team that's coming over for that Duke Kahanamoku tournament that we mentioned Joe again with the date goes over us and righto thankfully decided not to jump over press row that time he gave us a look though I'm gonna take it easy on you guys this one time so 2122 Stanford not walking away easily [Music] [Applause] another myth served by Jasper at that time mr. French time here for the Cardinal to see who they decide to go to to keep this match alive no time outs remaining for John Kosti righto with the serve there's Jasper from behind the line through the Block dug up by Stan where's Leon the D Center Otto could play off the net by Vishal [Applause] [Music] virtually unstoppable and they here at the Stan Sheriff Center this salad about 4,000 through the turnstile close to 5,000 tickets issue as they clip in unison Grotto puts it ends in its wine stanford going to war man passing rotation that time because of the threat of farm wound up lucky for them they served it up we got started to be met this match just a little longer nothing better than the entire SSC proud rises on a little Bowl that were to stand up over the net by keyword miscommunication is gauged and rather bumped into each other Kyle gets the same finishing touches [Applause] sweet [Applause] I'm a bum set location the column hits it off ye Street of sweets continue [Music] they go a kahin Aloha Aloha against the Stanford Cortland [Music] or graphic says Big West women's volleyball against but you get the picture [Music] Ryan what did this match say about this electic I think it really puts an exclamation mark that this Hawaii team is legit they are the real deal going into the matchup hey coach Riley wait saying he wasn't sure just off great this two team once because of the fact that they took that time off this test this game tonight was really gonna be a test to see where they stood with the rest of the country clearly Hawaii is deserving of that number two ranking with the win tonight let's check out the Bank of Hawaii players of the match for both teams pretty easy choice on the Stanford side of the net Jordan D worked 14 kills hit to 41 had a double-double with 10 kills and Ronald Potter poon off in stretches was unstoppable 17 kills at 375 for blocks and 6 digs are actually seeing him play some defense not something that was part of his game when he was just a freshman best part about it crying they do it again on Sunday Super Bowl Sunday but a super rematch between Hawaii is Stanford that's right for all you non-football fans or the commercials make sure you head on down here the Stan Sheriff Center for what is expected to be another great match I think this is a snap for a team that has the mascot went further along prove that they are a tough scene all right with Scott Rob's is with Charlie wait take it away hey thanks a lot coach well it's been nearly three weeks since you played a game let's that's how you thought your team played yeah we played pretty good you know that through the first half we were pretty efficient a couple sloppy errors and actually through two we were playing pretty well I think both teams got a little let me call it fatigued or lack focus in the third set but still some pretty high-level volleyball glad to come out with the win I thought gage Worsley had just a terrific match for you not just Dean but just his emotion on the floor as well okay quartz is a really good player you know I'm saying that that guy like the sky's the limit for him he's actually he's gonna impact matches you know throughout his career really good player all right get the rematch on Sunday do you expect anything different from the Cardinal no I mean they didn't change much tonight you know but typically the team that loses the first night it's got a bit of an edge you know I don't know how much tactical stuff can go on but should be another good match last thing I got to ask you because you're a big NFL fan who wins Super Bowl Sunday's game before your Super Bowl I think your Biscay and the Bears I think they're doing it I think it's the Vikings thanks charlie back over to you guys man those two guys are delusional it's a special weekend here in Manoa we got a doubleheader tomorrow Rainbow Wahine basketball taking on Cal Poly followed by Rainbow Warrior basketball taken on UC Santa Barbara and then of course on Sunday the rematch here 6 p.m. Hawaii and Stanford but we're talking about teams that are worthy of ignore worthy I think of fans coming down to the arena to check out obviously this is a Hawaii volleyball team that hasn't lost the set yet here in 2019 and even the men's basketball team they're four and two and absolutely in the mix in the Big West Conference fun to watch folks get on down to the SSC here this weekend but once again the final scores 25 15 27 25 25 22 second ranked to Hawaii over number eight Stanford a Ryan thanks for sitting in no problem corner cruel take it away in the postgame show after this before Ryan Kelly suji I'm Kanoa Leahey until next time everybody we bid you Aloha for the Stan Sheriff Center [Music]
