foreign talks today I want to talk like everybody else about Prince Harry but no I hope in quite the same way as everybody else I want to address something fundamental something that I rarely talk about publicly because it seems to me generally you need to know somebody rather well to comment on that thing called character but in Harry's case let's be a bit formal let's call him Henry Prince Henry in his case character or rather the spectacular the deplorable the Manifest the visible deterioration of character is afraid there for everybody to see and to lament so what's gone wrong what was Harry I think actually he's Chris and Harry rather than Henry uh what was Harry well he was clearly it's he constantly does the spare a typical upper class not very bright personable easy going it seemed Second Son you know William rather serious Harry careless silly self-indulgent Nazi uniform wearing buttock exposing at um at strip strip parties in Las Vegas all that kind of thing Angel are very typical well just what hooray Henry a hooray Harry finding himself of course so many did so many do so many will such young men in the army it's discipline it's comrade ship it's required officer Junior officer the necessity to assume responsibility responsibility to your men obedience to cue mounting officers a degree of decorum despite mass behavior with your brother officers and so on Harry took to that he was clearly told us and are the Dreadful terms in in spare he was a brave Soldier an effective one killed soldiers have to do they don't have to boast about it which is part of this deterioration of character he did but above all he did something truly remarkable in founding the Invictus game she saw the terrible plight of young men men his age officers and Men who'd been horribly horribly injured they were young men like him usually let's be blunt without much of a brain but good bodies they're intensely physical they'd lived through their physicality in the Army physicality public and sex and whatever and suddenly they're horribly horribly injured and the Invictus games were way in which those men could re-engage with their physicality could once again Triumph physically be bold be brave be strong despite the horrible injuries that they'd received it was I think genuinely Noble and I I find I'll confess generally speaking the paraplegic games disturbing somebody again that's my own background of being born with mild disabilities the game club feet or whatever I'm uncomfortable about that but let's set that aside that's a pure Diversion the Invictus games were very remarkable they have of course as we all now know been threatened by is boasting about the number the T the people that he took out like chess pieces I wonder actually if Harry has ever played chess I doubt if he would have been very much good at it Invictus I want you to hold that word in your mind did Harry manage to escape lat completely at school did he on the contrary do it did he actually choose the name does he know what it means it means undefeated unvanquished unsubmissive not a victim so that was the Harry then what has the Harry become what is the Harry not of the Invictus games but of Harry of spare he is self-obsessed he is self-obsessed to the extent that he forgets responsibilities to everybody else apart of course from Megan he is contemptuous of the institution that brought him into the world that's family he's the institution of the words of his own family which is happens to be both as he says a royal family that's to say an institution and a real family he appears to have rejected both and we've rejected them with a passion he reject it because he's broken the code of honor the Army he is rejected as far as one can see the Loyalty that he owes to the crown first in the person of his grandmother now in the person of his father in other words he's put into the public domain things nobody should ever put into the public domain things that were said in absolute privacy in the bareness of soul that's when his father apparently says please don't make my life a misery in my old age to repeat that to spit on that on that memory what's happened how the Staggering disloyalty the disloyalty to women that he slept with the contempt just telling their stories really as jokes their stories but only as episodes in his life what what characterizes all this well it seems to me it's a it's a disloyalty that old-fashioned word it's a Breaking of the code it's a severing of the bombs that hold us to our parents to our brothers he doesn't have any sisters the mother father he proclaims the attachment to his mother but can you imagine but even she even she Diana herself were many ways embodies the complete opposite from his grandmother his grandmother that belief in that thing that once Harry when he was in the Army espoused that thing called Duty in which whatever you feel you get on with it now Diana indeed refuse that notion for her happiness or rather a terrible failed quest for happiness was everything combined occasionally with a sense I'm afraid I'm wanting Vengeance deed rather often of wanting Vengeance but there wasn't that cold calculated spiked she didn't hate monarchy she thought her husband said quite clearly that Charles wasn't suitable for it but she wanted passionately William to inherit William to be a future king now the younger brother the youngest son that she hoped would be We Gather his wingman is doing everything he possibly can to destroy and to damage to be disloyal they won't use the word be treacherous to be let's use the full word the traitor now how do you go through that transformation what is termed this apparently happy go lucky young man who discovered himself in an institution which more than any other apart from Crown itself embodies the idea of service to the crown that is to say the army that embodies all those things that he's now rejected reacted against so violently the notion apparently hierarchy well of course Monarch is hierarchy King on top prince of Wales next and then for a period of time him as the spare next and then of course the hierarchy shifts but the Army is intensely hierarchical again an institution founded on unconditional service on loyalty on bonds that transcend reason and are and should be all the stronger for that how do you break that not simply his own sense of health and obligation his father to his grandmother to his family to the crown but the Oaths that he would have actually have swore as an officer how's it got broken well I think again it's that word invictus which means unvanquished that's to say not a victim those men that he helped those men so badly so horribly injured they recovered their self-esteem not by lying there whinging on their beds not saying I've lost Lim or some cases I've lost both limbs I'm not saying I've lost an eye or in some cases both eyes not saying I've been disfigured a bit but often hideously disfigured they didn't lie there wailing and moaning about their victimhood they got up they got off their beds even if only in a wheelchair even carried off their beds they went to a gym and they worked out they said we are not going to be victims we are going to take charge of our lives and Harry the old Harry offered them the opportunity to do that what's he done himself now he has become the archetypical victim and he's a espoused two damning Creeds victimhood one of them of course is bizarrely the exact opposite of what the name says the wellness cup of California the belief that you know by taking whatever it is Consulting acupuncturists Wellness gurus psychotherapists stylists Publishers every IST you can think of every phony Guru every dabbler in psychobabble you can somehow make yourself well again it is an ultra solipsistic occult merely of the self and of course what it does above all is to do what Harry does is to highlight every perceived tiny little slight in one's life and to magnify it to not simply look at it as a wound to be healed but rather as a wound to be cherished scratched as a scap to be picked at to be held up and in regard even as as those horrible sights one sometimes sees in in in the poorer parts of the world where Beggars will actually exhibit their scars to try to arouse pity well I'm afraid that's what the cultivation of psychological hurt my hurt is worse than me or her that's what he's engaged in a grievance tiny tiny grievance is the thing that's so striking about every episode you know from the from the relative size of bedrooms to minuscule dispute about tiaras is the utter absolute triviality the ability in this world to take a tiny not even a mole hit it's a kind of little grain of dust of grievance and to transform it well simply into a mountain but into a mountain range into a veritable Himalayas of grievance so that's one way in which you destroy trust in which you destroy loyalty in which you destroy commitment to family to institutions and instead just me me me self-self-self the other of course is something else that he has more than flirted with it's in ways it's very similar it is yet another Cult of victimhood but of course it's the cult of racial victimhood the fact in other words the whole espousing of BLM of critical race Theory the appearance um in the uh in the Netflix of figures like afua Hersh with the Declaration that the Commonwealth would be so dear to the heart of his grandmother was just empire Mark II of David olusuga who was a semi-respectable historian really should be keeping better company and finally of course the deplorable you know black lives ranta whose choices in the title somehow have a university professor at a not quite University the City University of Birmingham candy Andrews Andrews again well we've seen what all this amounts to once again it is the whole the whole of critical theory is the cultivation of grievance grievances must never be forgotten grievances must never be forgiven grievances however far they lie back in the past however much they have been expatriated as for example by Britain's abolition of slavery and the extraordinary campaign fought by the Royal Navy the grievance of slavery that racial slur can never ever be forgotten another Cult of victimhood and another Cult of course which dissolves all loyalty all ties of loyalty all ties of belonging and of obligation because of course if you sin against this cult well as I experienced you experience cancellation in which a lifetime service is merely a second now think about that think about that this is what Harry has espoused this is the cult alongside the cult of Wellness of the the whole psychobabble this is the other cult that dissolves everything that he's absorbed that he's let himself be brought into and it is genuinely destructive of everything because despite appearing in the Netflix presumably having been paid money for doing was doing so what do we find kahindi Andrews doing the moment all this fuss appears the moment the book comes out going on to Good Morning Britain and saying oh the monarchy is just like EastEnders two brothers fighting why do we bother with it in other words what actually he's done what Harry has done is to get into bed with I'm not judging with quite that crime but metaphorically to get into bed with people who fundamentally hate the monarchy hate Britain hate the Army the the extraordinary contradiction of the lad again the kind of people the Hershey's the olusogas the Andrews of this world are appalled by Western intervention uh in Afghanistan of course they are dominated of course they do not recognize the Quasi legitimacy that it had as liberal interventionism the attempt at let's be honest the imposition of Western values on a tribal Society the freeing of women to have education the freeing of women from The Veil The freeing of women from the oppression of men all of that of course such people abominate so here we have a man who's their spoused contradiction contradiction and rejecting his old life in favor of these new heresies and I think this is what's happened but it's also it's not simply a warning for Harry we can see Harry we can see how it's destroyed his loyalty to his family to his father to his brother to the monarchy to the Army to Britain these an exile it's not that of course there's another warning too and I'm afraid it's a warning for the other brother for William and also for the king for the Prince of Wales and for the king because what are the Charities that the prince and princess of Wales are so Keen to sponsor they are mental health Charities now I'm sure they are well-meaning of course their well-meaning but can't they just pause and consider that there is overwhelming evidence the more that we worry about Mental Health the worse it seems to get because it encourages in almost all the forms that it assumes The Cult of victimhood the opposite of that Invictus which the old Harry so wonderfully sponsored and I'm afraid also that the Prince of Wales the new Prince of Wales Prince William of Wales flirts with woke look how quickly he jumped in and on which side he jumped in to that extraordinary incident at the Buckingham Palace reception between Lady Susan Hussey his own grandmother and this extraordinary woman negozi Fulani he jumped down on fulani's side against hasi he came down in favor of diversity inclusion and equity sorry William woke is the fundamental enemy of everything you believe in it is the fundamental enemy of belonging of continuity of monarchy of Britain of our civilization we can lose one brother God help us if we lose two
