Guess That Video Game - Quarantine Edition

get over here hello everyone the green scorpion here and welcome to another episode of guess that video game the quarantine edition and the reason for that subtitle should be painfully obvious i'm not going to get into it so you all know the drill by now i put up a post on twitter asking you guys to send me your best slash worst slash stupidest cleverest description of a video game that you can think of and i'm gonna spend this entire video trying to guess what video game you're talking about not much else to say other than that so let's get started which is the greater danger the woman enjoying your pain and suffering the guy who has no idea what he's doing or jk simmons i'm gonna go ahead and say jk simmons because cave johnson is actually the reason why glados and wheatley actually exist in the first place so yeah portal 2. a tv studio decides to not only resort to staging big potentially life-threatening events but they also have their hottest woman as a reporter and have her dance in front of the camera geez the things people will do for ratings this has been the green scorpion reporting live from space channel 5. in the game that revolutionizes genre on console gunned down hordes of low poly mannequins that can only see directly in front of them and have no sense of self preservation play with up to three friends and please be sure that the cartridge is not shaken or stirred for it is 007 golden eye real talk my youth group friends and i used to play the heck out of this game a guy hates a family so much he turns into a robot to steal their book the orphan hits him with a cane and he dies in a volcano interesting sequence of events there but honestly i got this one right from the first sentence sly cooper teenage girls beats up numerous of people to save their boyfriends who weren't kidnapped at all also expect to see some familiar faces who were from a different game series i love this game i really do love this game river city girls and i will i am going to comment on this i'm really really glad that they fixed the ending of that game so that they actually kind of have a satisfying happy ending so good on you there way forward and now i activate polymerization and i will fuse legend of zelda wind waker with hollow knight in order to form blue fire in attack mode god i miss yu-gi-oh but yeah this is blue fire and i haven't played this game but i am genuinely interested in it it looks really good i went to the fair with my best friend today tomorrow i'm supposed to prevent an apocalypse by killing a world-ending parasite then it's back to the fair just in time for the fireworks they're not best friends at the start are they they do end up getting married though anyway chrono trigger you get to choose over 100 characters to commit property destruction for reasons the deaths seem to change with every patch okay i am going to say that while i have complained in the past about the lore changes i'm more complaining about them retconning past stuff instead of just expanding upon it i'd rather have a gangplank situation than a poppy situation but that's me spitballing here this is league of legends and by the way clever wording with the property destruction bit first day on the job turned waking nightmare yeah you know this could honestly be a few things um yuppy psycho resident evil 2 five nights at freddy's i don't know pick one a girl with attitude a guy with anger issues a killer a pretty boy and two other weirdos are tasked with stopping a horse [ __ ] um um are you referring to butt stallion i am not even going to entertain that idea borderlands 2 and we're leaving it at that a journey through a hostile alien environment where any mistake could be your last i hope you brought your ukulele this is an experience that i am all too familiar with and you're gonna need a bigger ukulele if you ask me risk of rain a psychological horror game about a black and white boy in a colorful world [Music] huh so the opposite of the blob psychological horror game is this on maury i heard about this game from one of my friends and this is the really the only thing i can think of i'm guessing this is omori armless dude with a purple hoodie beats up sack people carrying guns while accompanied by his blue frog pal who swallowed a very angry fly warning plenty of plum juice involved i haven't played this game but i do know about it and yeah it's just as silly as it sounds not as silly as the rabbits themselves though rayman 3 where's that damn fourth chaos emerald evil sword makes people go mad and crazy and yet almost everyone still wants to get it also darth vader shows up for some reason okay this could have been any of the games in the franchise but darth vader makes this soul calibur 4. hey dude did you ever play bioshock the underwater setting makes it [ __ ] terrifying no but i played their grandfather that has gladys's evil sister as a villain in outer space ooh that's a good one yeah this is system shock very terrifying game but i only really know that from hearsay i've never actually played it myself it's bad dubbing this could be a lot of things dude um i don't know pick one i thought i'd get bad touch vibes from the main villain not his sword um is this skyward sword because yeah the main vibes i get from gearhim himself are like let me touch your skin fluffy goku fights a messy kaiju with his gremlins son oh well speaking of dragon ball z um this is bowser's fury isn't it because i've seen a lot of people make the comparison that uh giant cat bell mario looks like son goku or something like that i haven't played it myself i want to but that's my guess i think this is bowser's fury a bunch of insects make a better paper rpg than nintendo ooh shots fired and yet it is so so true um this is bug fables i think um a game that i actually really want to try out myself i've heard wambu mention it to me once or twice and i really want to give it a shot twin peaks with a bad frame rate uh hmm i don't know i want to say this is deadly premonition i think that's my best guess i i really am not getting a lot from this one young guy wakes up 1 000 years into the future gets a new job escorting and delivering people across the world alongside a bunch of ragtag misfits becomes best friends with a character voiced by john dimaggio and falls in love with his female co-worker no this isn't futurama i was gonna say this actually sounds a lot like futurama and now the comparisons are kind of super crazy and hilarious and it was recently revealed to me that waka of all characters was voiced by john dimaggio that is funny final fantasy 10 why is final fantasy 10 comparable to futurama the church in ancient spain really needs to calm the [ __ ] down facts though absolute facts this is blasphemous okay north kudos on this one this is hilarious a young knight takes it upon themself to free the kingdom from the scourge of sunny d [Music] um um it's just i'm never gonna look at the radiance ever again without thinking of sunny d anymore okay okay calm down oscar this is hollow knight a gritty crime drama with intrigue violence heartbreak dragon quest pokemon mario kart adults and diapers real estate and a climactic final battle between two locker babies why why am i getting all the funny ones all of a sudden um yeah this is i think this is yakuza like a dragon like it's gotta be one of the yaguza games but i think like a dragon specifically a tale of optimism versus nihilism now featuring climate change allegories suicidal depression polyamory and many many robots um nier automata i think i mean i i think that makes sense i'm just like yeah no actually it isn't your automata isn't it holy smoke dude murders your sister then shoots you you spend the entire game hunting him down and it ends with you playing a music box that allows you to shoot him in the face or you can let steven fry shoot him your choice this this has to be fable too right because that that ending scene with that whole thing i forget his name but he shoots you and he's like oh i'm sorry did you want to kill him i swear that ending scene was made was made even more famous by josh scorcher and the attack of flame at least to me it was introverts go outside for once get obsessed with it and inadvertently learn how to mess with the stock market um gamestop reddit i i know actually not but wait is this animal crossing new horizons because stonks and outdoors oh my god this is animal crossing new horizons isn't it okay mara that was clever i'm gonna give you that one [Music] okay correct you on this one i think it's sengoku period i think is what you meant wars for dominance and control of the land spread all across the region with oda nobunaga once again seeking complete control you along with your army must come head to head in a series of epic adorable creature combat okay yeah i knew this one right from the beginning and along with that ending this is pokemon conquest gotta get to the church on time so would you please pick an outfit um is this talk to that i think this is octodad because you start off with a wedding and you gotta pick a suit i'm gonna go with that one i'll go that card games on hearts uh kingdom hearts chain of memories breaking news local thunderman reboots an eight-game franchise and proceeds to make everything worse ouch way to insult ward raiden on that one although you're not entirely wrong mortal kombat x you return to your rundown midwestern town after a brief stint at college to find that your friends have moved on without you you try to reconnect with your friends while ghost hunting after witnessing a murder by someone in a hood with a pig nose you know normal stuff [Music] yeah no she had a rough didn't she the game was pretty good overall not my thing but i i do recommend it for anyone looking for a good story night in the woods one cylinder's journey to clean up a drunk man's mess by becoming a trash collector [Music] i don't know the words here but this is katamari damasi for this one i will go with a song which means you have to sing hopefully i don't make you insane i rest my case okay sure moon river wider than a mile i'm crossing you in style someday oh dream maker you heart breaker wherever you're going i'm going your way how's that and finally fire emblem with guns the side story sequel uh pick one
