Grooming an Aggressive & Matted Shih Tzu

all right so this little guy is on some meds cause he is not really all that sweet [Music] he's got no matting like in his back here but when it comes to his paws and his legs oh yeah there it is yeah my guess is either a seven or a ten yeah so there we go so i'm gonna try to shave him down and try to do as much as i can with him on the table now because after the bath he may rejuvenate i don't know yet but when he does rejuvenate all i'm going to have to do is just little little light trims everywhere and so therefore he'll have a little bit more energy yeah i have a cone for him i have one one of the muscles one of the muzzles we're gonna see what works for him we are not hooked up by the neck we're hooked up a seat belt and okay emmy you groom come on it's not too bad yeah if his legs can go down to a 10 and i can leave his body semi-long that works all right oh he looks sexy back there okay i'm switching to a ten his arms and his head i'm gonna do that last whoa that was close i don't know i'm trying to evaluate him he's got a duck on here i know i don't want to put the mesh on there because when his paw gets into where his mouth is he can pull that off so this is the rubber and it's not i just got to make sure it's not digging into his eyes it's better that we uh shave him down before we bathe him okay we lift you up this way you're fine thank you emmy that'll hold him hypoallergenic we're washing the soap in there so the typo allergenic and also a tearless shampoo looking at me already trimming his feet good job a lot of dogs if they choose to have emmy they're probably not going to bite her and that's the thing with these dogs if they get somebody that they actually like they'll be better they're good and he may not like me and that's all right as long as you like somebody here when i was doing his feet he was just sitting there flinching from my ankle because christine's over there yeah oh look at those nails christine you're gonna love this i'm gonna do nails geez this is like humble book he had like no effort that went into that he's older it's like cutting through pasta it looks like it it is so proud of you look at that very good good job bud you can do this you can do this look emmy's touching you good boy you like her good boy i know i know but we have to close your eyes i don't want to get your tongue attaboy i know so we are going to know properly how to maintain himself have you ever taken benadryl and you just don't know how to act on it it's the same thing with dogs good boy we're doing it good job say my dad you feel better good boy so i would like to pluck his ears i'm gonna just snip the hair that's inside of it because i don't want him to think that this is a horrible yeah thing to do and that it can be painful i want him to be comfortable so he's not gonna come out 100 great he doesn't like the grooming but at least we found somebody that he is calm yeah oh yeah right good boy good boy my eyes are glassing because i'm trying not to blink oh look at your face look at it oh i'm just going to go over his body one more time we're gonna trim the hairs on his feet and then he's done good boy [Music]
