and welcome back to Great chaos where a group of friends get together and play Dungeons and Dragons we do things a little bit differently we split the party on purpose and tonight we are back to group one we are couple members short for the moment uh Brad and Caleb will be be coming in a little bit late couple we are we are always a couple members short a full deck they will be joining us at some characters because they made it before finally Mah broke through and he like I didn't try to break it was able to Vanquish the enemies that were in the M trap and reveal the big surprise that that he was Thea's father her daddy was found and he was the grandfather of Malica so little family relation there okay yes he has made his presence known not quite Brickly like but spread his Essence yes not as much as kind wants to spread it all right and we're moving on so upon finding that out and realizing both had a addal powers and abilities whoa whoa made it a lot sooner than we thought literally Malico was driving he was an hour away when he heard you were going to ask to borrow money from his character and he sped up 40 times the speed limit to get here in record time Phantom Ste baby Phantom Ste on the on the way home but Malica found out who his grandfather was found out he has the ability to go both light and dark now within him and he must choose which way the ability to do that too are you saying melica goes both ways yes that's we were just watching the intro talking about that but anyway nice uh the again found out who her father was and then the group was able to return to vardell and find out a little bit about what was going on whoa with the other group and talking to Brickley and you had went to bed and that was finally where we ended the night's episode so we bring it back you are waking up in the morning great chaos what would you all like to do in the very early morning when you wake up where are we again are we you're back in your manor house like back in the like where Brickley is couldn't remember like to go find a feast for breakfast well I mean they said breakfast right here at the bner house a lot uh I would like to head so this is early oh yeah who that shut that down uh the your your friends group is there any way you can sell it like on the black market so that people so that maybe our friends don't know about it I don't want my and the Thieves Guild and they'll neither confirm nor deny such a rumor is the Thieves Guild bad what do you mean bad they just are they're thieves that take stuff correct that's but they have a code problems in the city so are you like a mayor so all you do is go around and make sure everything's I investigate okay so all you all you do is make sure's a dick one so why but why aren't you investigating this new I'm looking for assistance because there are multiple things there's been murders in the city as well there's been a murder multiple murders murder kind of fluffs his collar I which would be for your bow which is called you and me spelled y ew yep um you and me What specifically are you looking for I'm was trying to um find something that I can do possibly a little more damage or so you're looking for a bow or yeah yeah oh there's also tools of war in the edge right you and enchanter cell weapons so we're looking at yes where are those at on here ah the weapon stores yes yep but there is one specifically that sells bows if you want to go there oh there is MHM it's called you and me okay that's where I'm going all right you and me so I spelled it wrong y e w I don't think you need to spell it to get there I do true it's also a couple Fletchers in town so sher's going to take you there sweet yep all right so he kind of guides you over there there is there is the the Straight Arrow and there's Bull's eyes if you're looking for arrows so oh I'm going have head up there take a peek at my arrow so wow you walk in there's uh um I I would describe him as siney like he's got like lanky arms legs he's an elf um but he's he's ripped very ripped um and he's putting together a bow he kind of looks up when you come in can I help you hi there rip quick I'm going to whisper hey bunny get anything you want I'll spare some gold for you any fit your time you hear the one when the bird and the rabbit walked into a shop that looks like dinner I don't know how the joke goes from there but don't ask it's going to be a good one I imagine what can I do for you um I'm just trying to find a stronger bow and mine's getting old and H tattered I need something new a little more powerful a little more he looks at your bow which pretty good bow he's like well looks nice to me what uh what specifically are you looking for uh just something that possibly could do more damage when I when I let my arrows loose ah okay so I have a couple of things that that may be of interest to you I do have this archery armguard here that I've created it actually will add an additional 60 ft to the range of your bow 60 ft wow so just something to think about that's quite a ways but I find that uh really helps if you need to fire a long distance and keep your distance between whatever it is you're shooting at it seems like I'm always crammed into a little can though ah okay okay so the distance I wouldn't need any extra at the moment so you're more looking for a more powerful bow little tighter quarters type of bow let me go back and and take a look and he comes back and it's looks like the the half of the bow is like this black wood he's kind of it's bendable he's pulling it back but it looks like he lets go the first time it snaps back really quick he pulls it back and puts the string on he's like this is black uood and this can be very powerful in the right circumstances wow now it's a little harder to pull back so but you look like you handled a bow for a while I have he's got Target set up in there he's like give it a try all right so just a regular Arrow go ahead and rolling the how far we oh yeah so I got do I still get my plus yeah so I got a dirty 20 dirty 20 okay it hits the target with a lot of force and it punches through and it's like sticking like this far into the the target itself he's like does a little bit of extra punch there I can tell no not everybody can handle such a bow but I I see you're able to there so comes with some some positives and negatives to it because of that positives and it's a little harder to fire so it it would be a a minus two to your attack roll however you get to add that plus two to your damage should it hit anything wow good and bad H what do you think about that you're there watching me shoot this bow um I mean I I think you're a if you're able to have the strength and stay consistent with it it's amazing with the damage you just got to be careful with that minus too yeah yeah I don't want to shoot nobody else that I didn't mean to right um how much uh how much for a bowl like this s like that would be 300 gold this seems like quite a bit I'm not footing the bill so can we go a little lower these are hard to make what is your strength by the way my strength is a plus three plus three okay no like what is it oh it's a 16 16 okay so it's not a total minus it's a minus two to your strength so it's be like you had a 14 strength is what it would is what I'm saying so M so it really I believe only be a minus one cuz you'd go down one category yes so my attack would be a plus five yeah okay that's not bad then you hit with plus two but additional two damage and everything fired from that boat wow I'm not there what do you your team is there something you'd be willing to to purchase for me my gold yeah I got you I guess we're going to take it he's going to a map of the outskirts of it drawn out if I sent somebody here if I left a letter to somebody to come here to get you as much detail as they know about the the land oh absolutely could you make a map of it I I can make a map of anything How much would it cost to get a special map of creas oh do that for 25 gold dude I need to pay up front no I'd rather you make sure the work is the way you want so to help with the uprising there down at Tanner's gate but I know the other group has returned and and shared where they're off to but yes what what happened where you were we got trapped in a nightmare realm and it was literally a nightmare that sounds awful it was how did you get out out I'm not even sure how we got out it was like going through a wormhole is this Wormhole something we need to be concerned about that's a very good question I haven't really thought about returning or anyone else finding it we don't we don't need anything any other issues there's been too much your friends are hopefully dealing with a major issue right now what are they dealing with destroying the book they have the book they do how are they going to destroy it well they're following a rumor a rumor that a supposed item is still around in existence that has the power to destroy such an artifact seems like a Fool's Aaron when I say it that way out loud it sounds like a uh an unwise idea sounds rather foolish well I think leaving the book here would have been worse there were too many events while you were gone there were attempts on their lives there were attempts made on our lives here at the palace that were thed oh how horrible everywhere the book went it's as if someone knew where it was at all times are those the murders that Alistair was telling us about that's something new and between you and me my concern is that there is some of those things still left alive in the city do you know what those things are have you seen them can you just describe them you know them have some very very nice blades like what so he pulls one off the shelf and he's kind of being very careful as he's handed it to you he's like this short sword right here is extremely sharp okay it was designed to bleed its enemies I'm listening so you need to be very very careful when you attack with this what sounds like it could be an option what else do you got well this is not one I would train with because this one could cause some very serious issues to yourself if you cut yourself okay but I've also got a very fine looking blade here so he pulls a different one off that uh is extremely shiny like so much so you can kind of see a reflection in it and this one would be safe to train with this will be safe to train with it's very sharp but H um it never dulls it never dulls never what kind of like attack power does it have when you fight with this you'll know you're fighting with something that has magic to it um I would ask to hold it real quick just like testing out the weight testing out how it's extremely well balanced very light I mean you don't know your way around swords but this thing just feels feels good to you and what would the price on this one be 500 gold 500 H does it feel like I could possibly like use it one hand Ed and then the shield another I mean it's a short sword yeah you're not going it feels like good one hand I'll take it okay so it is over to the guy and I will like investigate the area around there including the belt buckle see if I have any if it has any like markings on it that I would know or recognize and I can roll an Mage hand to rip the Scarab out of his hand and as he's doing that I will also be pulling out a dagger and attempt to cut it out of my hand okay so I would say it's we'll say it gets past the wrist cuz it's moving fast so we'll say it's arm now don't slit your wrist we'll say it gets to the arm dab it into my forearm okay and I'll try to pull it out with Mage hand with the dagger to flick it out towards the Mage hand so roll an attack roll I'll give you advantage on it because of the Mage hand with the dagger says I can Reeve an item from any open container okay is an arm a container it is
