Got carried away at the Motorcycle Auction, spent WAY TOO much

so I think about how we do yeah why did you buy half these bikes whoa what do you mean I mean we definitely pay more than retail for at least half these bikes what the heck were you thinking I don't know I'm at the national power sports auction in Philadelphia now they were very clear they're like let everyone know this is a dealer only auction you need a dealer license to buy for this place and I've got about $100,000 if I'm gonna buy as many I'm gonna buy $100,000 of the bikes hopefully not this one maybe I will buy this this would be a cool project any time you're buying at an auction like this you always have to look at the there's a couple different numbers if there's a CR which is a condition report and when you actually look at it online you see it a little more in-depth and talk about the frame there with a title status you can really get burned by not doing the your due diligence on looking at these bikes that's why I come here two hours earlier are you a lot of stark bikes yeah I mean again we let's start them now you can't start them during the auction do you 310 there's sweet bikes there are a lot of um training courses are actually using these things really is a cool bike very custom radar that's awesome I'm probably gonna I'm gonna go after this when I'm probably by this is a beautiful Falcon 320i [Music] this is a very realistic contender for a build like that we could do the average personal mind on Craigslist junk foot see the right setup eBay and whatnot there's money there there's money left on the table now what makes us real tough is there's actually three auctions going on at the same time the imports the harley-davidson and the Indians and then the ATVs I normally hang around the import cuz I applied a lot of bikes in there I've got the juggle from here and jump in here we won't actually buy things with both lanes this might be the cheapest buy to sell the entire auction that I think I'm with bought last time for like 250 bucks it's been here for the past like five months what is it maybe Motors I think it's affected the high song is the anniversary edition also they may need to handle it so here's a modus this is the other this is bike my number was $5,000 which means like my cell numbers like something it did almost like I was gonna buy that United Motors bike because I was like I think like the month-to-month guys it's been there for like five months come on earlier did they're fishing for bids like 200 bucks and then I'm thinking I'll buy 400 bucks would be the cheapest bike at the auction does like 700 black-painted with extra stickers on it kind of ugly look in 2006 Yamaha or one this might have been the deal of the day I'm always saying like I got to check out every bike and start every bike and kind of look at every bike because in the case this happens k some of those crazy cheap I want to I want to know what I'm getting and I didn't do that because I'm stupid it was too ugly but they were fishing for bids at $1,500 bucks I'm looking at this is gonna be a good deal I didn't know if it ran and you're not I start the bike at the auction so in if someone else got it but 1500 bucks for a 2006 r1 with how many it had 32,000 miles it didn't look that bad I mean was clearly painted but at ten fifteen hundred bucks I kind of regret not by that 8022 alright 2907 21 31 32 all right 30 hora de vente now park see stuff to get some stuff dust more money than you think and some stuff doesn't and that's all part of the game and that's like the best part about the auction that's what that's what makes it fun that something I thought I was expecting like maybe like a meat platter sounds alright the problem is you guys squeezing in between bikes you don't wanna pie if there was a bike every five bikes that I wanted to buy yeah yeah no one over pays like I do for ridiculously old Honda touring about 28 for the floor 36 there is gonna be an old one 1,400 bucks you know what this morning I had to go to take Leonard back snack to Arya Babbar no to then they took 103 all right two and a half but now three two he's a math major he is you doing have it I don't free I'm on seven so there too man he the board it's not the big that you currently have so oh I had the bid at 200 the board says 300 and I'm like 350 I haven't had the bid he's like you're not gonna count to 50 type else those stupid really a rookie mistake there's more working mistakes to come yeah braid the auctioneer's coming back so eleven eleven hundred the Paris 729 [Music] so $4,000 so twenties maybe that's prettiest road king I've ever seen in my life 99 I bought that I bought that street 550 yeah so yeah this happened I thought it was a 750 street 750 I'm think I'm gonna steal the year on this harley-davidson Street some fifty is a penis tree 500 that customer who was like get me a street 750 I thought a street fight under that he's not gonna want like it's always the best buddy here you're gonna try that one up classic the bike looks awesome paint look the paint looks good it's got these covers on it yup service records for it if I'm gonna truth because I created likes great bike nice knife I didn't know us oh yeah this that's like brand new tires on it do that this is the chrome in the back and the black and a bidding war with that guy paid way too much for that bike is what happens is those four bikes that we bought their own like if bid there were phone calls so my man dusty over here he's gonna fall or he already figured out he already knows he's gonna see you guys he's gonna see if we can actually get these bikes this work does to me makes his real money we don't want to deal on but which bikes are we waiting on so when they say ultra classic hang on one second me no bones classic you got that's how I thought till oh that wasn't it bid apparently it's an if been made you back today well I got a I'm sold at 22 it's a solid day I get here in 27 total points seven total whoops oh you miss how there's always a week so we have an if bid at um we have five is all right so we've got yeah one two three four sport pending there's one of those okay so there was five pending okay one got no sale already was that some Chinese thing yes okay got Keith beat 200 so that was a no sale got it we don't we split it twelve six all right now done done do it do it do it do it do it do it this is a legally binding contract well most likely is that what is that what the number is everything you all know my face dude that's crazy how much a hundred a hundred grand I was trying to spend a hundred grand get it done make a deal love it so even though I had tons of fun at the bike auction eating Donuts and buying motorcycles and seeing cool stuff I may have gone a little overboard and paid too much for a few bikes you know what that's alright I'm willing to take a hit and make sure that my customers still got a great deal on on an amazing motorcycle which is why we do what we do so we got a little bite we get all the bikes again the first moto bike by surprise one of the most bikes of ever most biggest loads never had nine bikes head to toe tired a tire on the trailer best job I've ever
