So surreal to imagine Conor in there with him.
Every time I watch Mayweather I get anxious because I imagine going against fighters I'm watching and most of the time I have and idea what to do, but against Mayweather I know I wouldn't rush in because the jab and the check hook is too accurate and on the outside I would get tagged all night. Sometimes I feel bad for his opponents, they aren't getting really hurt but they are trying to solve something only someone really special would solve, and this special one has either died long ago or isn't born yet.
Floyd's counters seem loud as fuck, here. Really connecting well a lot of the time.

My fave in a competitive sense was the duel with The Cotto. round 12 when he almost dropped him with a stunning uppercut. Maidana 1 was a closer fight but not as enjoyable for me because it was just a mauling, ugly encounter, Marcos played to his strengths and gave not a single shit for how he acquired the success. He, like many others, found out that Floyd can truly FIGHT when the situation calls for it. The battle with miguel was a great back and forth flow of high quality chess, it was a bruising and beautiful display by both men, Floyd pulled out some of the pretty boy era combinations and got down in the trenches. I think it's hilarious when Floyd is smiling at the big screen when he sees his nose is actually bloodied for once.
As savagely as Floyd beat Victor's ass during this fight and embarrassed him, that commentator talking about Floyd's ring generalship really doesn't sound like he knows what the fuck he's talking about
