[Music] oh my gosh you want to tell them why you had to get the exact same glasses as me today i drove through listen you have to be safe hello everyone hi welcome back well these are the first words i'm speaking today i'm so tired but i just woke up got ready and we're gonna go on a really fun adventure today because in about five minutes um my mom's coming to pick me up so because they don't have a car um well i don't have a driver's license actually so let's start with step one she's coming to pick me up and we are going to go all over the city on an adventure today visiting as many little library boxes as i physically can i have a stack of books here that i'm gonna unhaul and instead of just getting rid of them or putting them somewhere i thought i would drive around the city like a little book fairy and exchange them for other books that hopefully um i would love to read or perhaps love to give as a gift to someone and i think as well if i don't find a book i want to take from that little community library box i will simply just switch them around and then kind of be the little book fairy that goes around the city rotating the selection and the stock of books so that people get some new books in their life potentially so if you don't know what i'm talking about those little um library boxes like the community library boxes are very cute little libraries that people in their neighborhoods have built themselves honestly and painted and made to look so good and then filled with books that they don't want and then it's kind of a take one leave one sort of policy and then it's just this little fixture in the neighborhood full of light and warmth and there are so many in my city so the goal today is to hunt them down find them all actually there's a worldwide website i think if you are interested in finding any near you i just found out about it um and i just went on it a few minutes ago it's called littlefreelibrary.org and you can search like buy your city and stuff which is just so cool so anyway i thought it would very quickly run you down the books i'm going to be unhauling and then hopefully by the end of this we can finish up with a little book haul so the first book i'm going to be getting rid of is called the seventh sacrament by david hewson i've had this book on my shelves for years for years and years and years to be fair it didn't go completely unread because my dad did read this and he just said it was okay this book just definitely reminds me of kind of just a dan brown formula uh we're set in rome we're following a famous uh archaeologist i think and there's a string of murders that starts to happen like kind of underneath rome so that's kind of all we're following but i was just not super interested in reading this i don't think it's going to provide me with like any value in my life and i'm just really trying to read the books that like i want to read before i die so another book i thought i would swap around in our city's little libraries is called the sunlight pilgrims by jen fagan this one is really interesting it's set in 2020 and like the apocalypse has happened i don't know what year this was written but i just opened it up saw the synopsis that like it's 20 20 in the world has gone to pieces and i was like well you're not wrong this was written in 2016 and it's about like a freeze i mean jen jenny i think you went the wrong way with this one next up i am unhauling my copy of jane eyre by charlotte bronte because this novel is just awful no i'm just getting rid of this one because i found a much lovelier edition i recently got the penguin english library edition of jane eyre which is really nice because the text in this one yep i have read jane eyre absolutely love it but i don't need two copies of it so maybe this will provide someone with some nostalgia and remind them that they need to get their prescription checked next we have osprey island by frisbee nissan i have no idea really what this one is about very few people ever leave the tight knit community of year rounders on osprey island and fewer come back so it's kind of about people trapped on this island called osprey island and then i think maybe the last one here unless i decide to pull maybe one more off is early one morning by virginia bailey this is historical fiction i believe this is like a world war is it world war ii i think uh yeah in 1943 one young woman kiara revello is about to flee occupied rome for the safety of her grandparents house in the hills so and then kind of the snap decision happens and she ends up saving a child that isn't hers um from being taken away and now it's about like their story um and what they do and stuff like that so yeah i'm not the biggest fan of um world war novels like historical fiction just because i've also read so many of them so yeah maybe someone else will enjoy this but so those are all the books that i'm going to be swapping around today and yeah i'm just really excited to take you guys along with me and without further ado let's do it my mom is bringing me a coffee just really nice of her i'm very excited for this coffee [Music] what did we see oh it smells delicious what is this true blood texas the cowboy secret song no no no leo and juliet [Music] i don't okay you know what this one's a maybe because i don't have it the supreme the my book in here we go i really want to organize all of these by like organizing them but i think we're going to be here all day oh you're not taking the good one you're taking romeo and juliet all right so we're in the car yes maybe you should just introduce yourself really quickly hey guys for those of you who don't know me i'm a sister ben i was on it uh i wish and those of you that don't know me i was in her vlogs or whatever these are like a long time ago a long time ago those were cute and when we quarantined together oh that was bad yeah yeah tell them uh what what are you building uh i'm in construction class right now and we're building like a six foot tall book box which conveniently fits this video and if you'll notice all the ones have like posts yeah we're not doing posts it's top to bottom shelves shelves how many shelves i think we're fitting five in there so imagine the book storage imagine the amount of books do you get to keep it no it's for somebody in a different town oh yeah well that's good it's community give back oh no we missed it we missed the turn [Music] okay this one always has the best books i'm telling you this one always has the best
