[Music] praise God hey if you have your Bible once you grab it say this together say this is my Bible this is the Word of God this is God speaking unto me within this word there's life it's life into my body health into my flesh strengthened to my bones and wisdom into my mind within the Word of God contains every answer to every problem that I face in this life when I hear the word when I read the word when I speak the word I'm built up I'm edified I'm charged up I'm strengthened I'm lifted up and when I come to church I come expecting to hear the word of God and to experience the presence of God and I declare today I will not leave here the same but I will leave here changed in Jesus name Amen praise the Lord oh yeah incidentally Jesse told me this he said you tell everybody he still when that money comes in for the eight hundred thousand dollars to pay that off he said this is my home phone number you better call me and he said you called me and he said I'm coming up and we're gonna have a mortgage burning ceremony we're going to celebrate and shout and holler and he said so I'm waiting on the call I said yes sir so anyway hey last Sunday we started something new we started a series called breaking broke and I don't know about you I've been broke I've been so so broke you know you couldn't even afford all the other letters like you've ever been in that place where you're in the water and you got one nostril above the water like I've been there man just really really bad but we spent some time last week just going through the scripture and finding out but God is not his will for you to be broke it's not his good will for you to be poor now if you listen to most Christians you would think otherwise God doesn't want you broke he doesn't want you poor he actually wants you what rich we found out in Deuteronomy chapter 8 that it tells us that it's the blessing of the Lord that makes one what rich makes one rich and we saw over in Proverbs many times it says it's the generous person that will be made what rich and in 2nd Corinthians chapter eight we found that it says that that Jesus he laid aside everything he became poor so that you and I could become rich and so he found out that rich it is not a bad four-letter word it's not because when you understand the purpose of prosperity and the purpose of finances the reason God wants you to be enriched is that we saw in 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 and verse 8 through 10 because he wants you to be able to be rich toward others in other words he wants you to be able to be a blessing on other people because when you have money then you can give money away when you have money you can lend money when you have money you can buy stuff for people it's just absolutely amazing to me how there's so many pastors and sisters out there who believe that God wants you poor and yet they take up an offering in tithes every Sunday and they they preach that God wants you poor but then they want you to give to the building fund makes absolutely no sense to me at all I even had and this is this is beyond wild to me actually had some missionaries passion now you would think missionaries of all all people in the ministry would want people to prosper in it so they could give them money and support them on the floor and field I had missionaries bashing me and telling me that God don't want you to have stuff I'm thinking you are out of your ever-loving mind and yet they want people to support them and help you can't support nobody if you don't have any stuff to support with you have to have finances I even had some money this morning and say well it seems like you're manipulating the share in the gospel because I made the statement that the gospel costs money to get it out it's not free it costs money and he said well you're just manipulating the description no you tell me what whenever I gets to the point that the utility company gives it to us for free contractors and construction laborers will do what they do for free video editors do it for free the TV stations do it for free the hotels restaurants airlines when they do all that for free then yeah you don't call squat to get the gospel out but in the meantime the utility company isn't going to just give us free electricity because we're a church and contractors and the architects they're not going it for church they paid a couple of bills one thousand dollars fifteen it ain't free it's not free so it costs money to be able to do these things and so one of the things that you and I have to do is we've got to break this mentality this poverty mentality is really what it is of how you and I are supposed to be living because if you read over in Romans chapter 12 and verse 2 this is what we always go back to Romans 12 verse 2 Paul says this he said I don't want you to be conformed to this world right he said don't be I want renewing of your mind don't want you to be conformed to this world but don't want you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind in other words I don't want you thinking like the world thinks in other words this is an invitation to think like who like God because if you continue reading he said I don't want you to be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can prove out the will of God well we find out real quick with the will of God is because Jesus said that the will of God is that the will of heaven be made manifest where on the earth Colossians chapter 3 verse 1 through 3 this is another one I always go back to and Paul said this he said I want you to set your mind on the what the realities of heaven where Christ is for you have died and your real life is hidden with Christ in God so Paul's telling us you need to think like God and you need to think and view the life on this earth according to the perspective of heaven well how many of you know that heaven ain't broke right I mean the Bible tells us that the things are just a little bit different there than it is here I love heaven and the New Jerusalem that's gonna come down I mean you're not talking about a broke place they don't even concrete building materials are gold and silver and jewels and right those are God's building materials not the concrete and yeah and listening to people you would think that God's broken he wants you broke too so I want you to look at something we're gonna spend a little time and I just want you to see God I want you to see how he thinks and how he operates because you're gonna find that God's method of operation it's not lack it's not little it's excess everything God does it's excess its lavish its abundance there's always too much there's always more than enough and the more that we begin to think like God then we'll begin to see like God and once you begin to see like God then you'll be able to start believing like God and when you believe like God then you'll start receiving like God and you'll certain manifestations chapter one all you little Bible scholars what's going on in Genesis chapter one creation and in Genesis chapter one and verse three you see this wonderful statement it says God said let there be light and there was what there was light isn't it interesting that God never said stop and what you find out is and science has proven at time and time again that light it just never stopped when God said light be light was and it kept on going and as a result of that our universe is continuing to expand like we we can't even see far enough to see the end of this thing and scientists have proven here over the last couple of years that that our universe that we know of is not only continuing to expand but it's expanding faster than the speed of light in other words light is fast but the way God has done this thing is that light is trying to catch up with the expansion of the universe I was reading an article this morning in scientists they said they actually proved through some research just about two years ago that at first they thought that based on the stats and the research at first they thought that the universe was going to end up stopping but now based on new calculations they said that it it appears that the universe is just going to continue to expand throughout eternity and that was their word science word eternity just gonna continue throughout attorney won't think about this I mean wasn't God just satisfied with the Milky Way I mean he made the earth why do we need you know Saturn and Uranus and be like why do we need all the other ones they're just there and why don't we know you know all these stars I mean there's just too many stars we realized that's just within the Milky Way like God could have stopped but he just kept on making stuff and what's interesting is you begin to kind of take a look at science and and what's out there and it's absolutely mind-boggling when you begin to look at the numbers like the Milky Way it's one of the smallest galaxies and in the known universe but there's also the unknown universe it's the part of the universe that's so far out there that light hasn't been able to come back to us the bounce off of of what's out there but the Milky Way is one of the small Lux galaxies it's here and the Milky Way if you were to go from one side to the other it would take you about a hundred thousand years going at the speed of light and that's one of the smallest the Milky Way us is one of the smallest galaxies one of the largest galaxies in the in the known universe it would take you 1 billion years going at the speed of light just to get to it and that's within our you know our little our little galaxy and once you get there it would take you six million light years six million years going at the speed of light to go from one side of it to the other and within that they said there there's like a hundred trillion stars that they found just within that galaxy that's not counting our galaxy that seems like a little bit too much a little bit of extravagance a little bit of excess wouldn't you think and yet you speak you begin to think of those things and look at those things and then it seems really stupid that we're arguing about ten thousand dollars or fifty thousand dollars or you know five million dollars 50 million we're talking about a big dot that we serve and that's just the universe I mean have you ever walked out and seen how much grass is out here and how much dirt is out here and how much water is in here and all the fish that are in the sea I mean there's there's fish in the sea that people are still discovering wait at the bottom of the of the ground that we're still discovering things that God made millions and I mean all these things that's happened over thousands of years and millions of years like just absolutely mind-boggling absolutely my mug and if you want just something just to boggle your mind over anymore this is my theory you can't necessarily disprove it but this is my theory is that when God made Adam and Eve and he said I want you to replenish the earth and then once once they did that they were to move on yeah see some of the strange strange looks dude my my theory is this is that what we're gonna be doing for the rest of eternity is occupying the rest of the universe now see I got even more looks miss even Jesus said this he said she was talking to the to those servants you know that he gave the talents to and he said the one who increased he said you're gonna rule over ten cities and the other one said you're gonna rule over five cities see there's gonna be some ruling and reigning an eternity we're not gonna be you just flying around like fat little babies playing or harp there's some eternal rewards and it's going to be in a in a government leadership standpoint you realize that even during the millennial reign when we come back with Jesus they're still going to be people here that made it through the tribulation that's gonna have these bodies these mortal bodies but you and I are gonna be in our immortal bodies and we're gonna be ruling and reigning over them with Jesus anyway don't get too excited about it but I don't know about you but I think it'd be cool you know some people get excited about being mayor over city can you be an you imagine being governor over a galaxy is just too big thinking for some people you know we're more satisfied well nevermind so X just chapter 35 this is where we're gonna kind of Center in on the money thing because I want to help you think bigger I'm trying to help myself think bigger you know we're all at different places in this right you know when you begin to look at at numbers you know there were numbers to me back when I was younger that that were huge to me and now they've gotten smaller yet but there's always bigger numbers and I'm always going after to make those big numbers seem small to me it's one thing we've endeavored to do with the Jake is that make sure that at his age the things that we're big than me are not big to him and so we should always be pushing and always be increasing to make the big things of this world seem small and yet you begin again you begin to talk to Christians about money and it's just absolutely mind-blowing how how people begin to argue over money and you shouldn't have this and you shouldn't have that well that's just too excessive you know I had this one lady telling me that well no no preachers should be owning a jet you know they should just fly commercial and I said well if that's the case you know why don't you just sell your car and ride the bus because she told me she said well they could just get that money and the money they'd be saving they could just give it to the poor and I said well you're a hypocrite cuz you could sell your car give that to poor and you could ride the bus well then open mouth insert foot cuz then she goes well but the bus schedules wouldn't allow me to get to where I need to you on time I was like praise God hallelujah you just busted open the door I'm about to squash you I said because do you realize that based on certain schedules you know and what you're trying to do there's sometimes many times depend on what you're doing you ain't gonna make it there and she said well but my car is a necessity because I gotta get to work well you know for a pastor you know that main tool is the building you need a building but but if you're a traveling guy traveling gal well you don't necessarily need a building but you need a way to get there and you can't go all around the world on a bus and you can't go around the world in a car you know our congregation is here in Jonesboro take Jesse Duplantis his congregation is the world and she's third arguing about this and she said well that's just lavish that's just excessive I said okay so how much is okay five million ten million I mean tell me the number so we can make sure it's okay with God because if you're gonna put a number on that we need to put a number on your car because what you think is excessive you know might be it might not be excessive to others right and then some others might think that what you have is excessive I said can you have a BMW can you have a Mercedes or does they have to be a Ford or a Chevy or a Subaru and then if it has to be a four-door Civic can it be new or does it have to be used and if it's used okay can it still have you know the limited-edition trim package can it have some some special rims can I have a CD player in there can I have an MP can it have a DVD navigation I mean that might be a little excessive see the problem is that once you start defining what is excessive for other people you shut yourself off right then it's it's this it's this area you're gonna get in that you're never gonna win because do you realize that over in Kenya we've been over there - Kenya twice your all's over there then having a television is for the rich people I remember riding in the cab with a guy and I've been there for almost two weeks and said man I said I've noticed I haven't seen hardly any TVs around here televisions he said oh it's cuz those are for the rich people he said do you have a television I said yeah I mean actually I have I got I got a little sheepish and I said well actually we've got one in our bedroom and my son's got one and we have one living room and one in the kitchen because you have one in the kitchen and I said yeah he's a man you must be rich and I said well no I'm not you know certainly not rich and compared American standards and he said what kind of TV is it well so the one our bedroom you know it's it's like 40 48 inches or something like that flat screen and goes oh my you're super rich he said he said people here don't five strains they have tube TVs as a man we use those we put those on the curb we use them for door stops like we don't have two TVs anymore he said we got all ours our flatscreen and he said oh man ya'll must be so rich and see over there it's excessive to have a multiple TVs but here we don't consider anything in many ways we consider it to be a necessity but see that's where youyou get on dangerous ground when you begin to say well this is excessive that's lavish well it may maybe not to you but it may be to other people but you'll never find where God said that's too much you're never gonna find in scripture actually when you begin to follow his model and his methodology you're gonna find out there is really no limit in exodus chapter of 35 and through chapter 38 God he gives Moses the instructions for his tabernacle now this is interesting to me because he's building the tabernacle forgot and this granted think about this this is not a permanent building okay this is a moving building this is something that they were using all throughout their 40 years going through the wilderness that would house the Ark of the Covenant and the Articles that God had had Moses and the people make so this wasn't Moses his idea God is the one who gave Moses these instructions up on the mountain and so I want you to look at this now this is just the bronze and the silver and the gold this is this is not the other building materials this is not you know that the fabrics and the woods and all this is just you know the fine metals God told them to use one ton of gold three and three-quarter tons of silver and two and a half tons of bronze God told them to do that now if you were thinking if if you were looking at current Christian society can you imagine if you put a ton of gold into this building imagine how many days we would be in the front page of the Jonesboro Sun they would just get up permanent picture of me and lacy and just stick it there and just talk about how we're money hungry and we're wasteful and we're too lavish and we don't care about the pool and we don't care about this we just care about ourselves but it's interesting that God is the one who said hey I want you to build this and I want you to use this now that may seem like a lot and it is but let me give you the numbers of what that would be worth today you ready I hold on to your little chairs they're just that one ton of gold one ton and and today's market value would be worth 28 million five hundred sixty thousand dollars can you imagine spending spending on not building the building for 28 million building your building and then putting almost twenty nine million dollars of gold on the inside of it that was just the gold and then the silver was it's three hundred ninety six thousand dollars a ton so just the gold and silver alone would have been worth almost thirty million dollars that's not counting the bronze and and remember some of the Articles that God had Moses make you member he had like a candlestick you know the little candelabra and he had the the table of showbread in this neck you know how much that candlestick would be worth today and the Bible gives us the very specific amounts of what was put into this thing you know how much that little candlestick would be worth today almost a million and a half dollars for one candlestick and this wasn't a man's idea you know whose idea this was God's the one who said Moses I want you to build it like this I want you to use these materials and here's the plan and you know what's interesting is that Moses tells us in the scriptures he said God gave me the plans and it was a copy it was a replica of what's in heaven I'm telling you God ain't broke and he doesn't want you broke and he doesn't want to be represented as bro see and the church riches a curse word but actually broke on to be a customer hmm and think about it this wasn't a permanent building again this is just a traveling a little tent that's moving around the tabernacle well this is where it gets even more interesting let me let me read to you about Solomon's Temple so last week we we saw her David David went about the task of collecting all the materials for his son Solomon to build a permanent place a permanent house for God and we saw that David from his own personal will gave one and a half billion dollars to Wars the building of the temple that was just David's personal wealth that he gave from and then we found that david's mighty men who mind you were broke before they met David and David's mighty man gave two and a half billion dollars towards towards the the temple and so these are the these are the materials that went in there for Solomon's Temple there was 11 million pounds of gold and you can read about this and first chronicles chapter 29 it's all there first chronicles chapter 29 there's 11 million pounds of gold you know how much that that 11 million pounds of gold would be worth today take a guess 157 billion dollars you think Bill Gates has money hey remember a couple of years when Jerry Jones Jerry Jones the owner of the Dallas Cowboys remember a couple of years ago when Jerry Jones I built a new stadium for the Dallas Cowboys and he spent a billion dollars and the and and the media went nuts even for you know football in America people are saying that's just that's just waste that's too much money on a stadium that was for a billion in this temple that was being built not for the rocks not for the labor just the gold that was going in there hundreds of billions of dollars that was just the goat and then look at the silver how much silver is in that go back that last one 110 million pounds of silver can't even imagine seeing how much that is Hernan ten million pounds of that silver so just for the gold and the silver alone that was going in this place a hundred and seventy eight billion dollars not the building just what's going on the inside of it just just to build things just the gold that's not counting the cedar that went in there and that's now counting all the others just the gold and the silver that was going in there almost 200 billion dollars and think about this friends this is where it's interesting too is that that 200 billion dollars you know where that came from came from the Israelites and that interesting God's people weren't broke and isn't interesting that the Bible says about David that he was a man after God's own heart and not one time well you find God telling David you got too much money a little filthy sinner heathen you need to give some of that money away and you give it to this person you got too much you'll never find God say that and you find with Solomon he was even richer than his daddy and not one time did God tell Solomon you got too much you got too much money you need to get rid of that that's excessive that's lavish you're a filthy rotten scoundrel you got too much money you never find that but if Solomon was alive today you better bet CNN ABC Fox CBS would be all over that man that prophet of God he's got too much money because isn't that what they do today those preachers those Christians they got two months money now you know it it's okay for the rappers and this and that to have all their money and bling and you know and having like $10,000 you know pieces that whatever in their teeth and LeBron James you know pointed out last week I'm in here I'm almost a $50,000 fit on and everybody's just talking about how he looked cool and fly walking in the game one of the finals well we see how that got I didn't work out too well but nobody sitting there saying Oh LeBron that's lavish that's that's to access it you should have gave some of that money there look at all those poor people outside of the stadium think about how many people you could have fed you know that $40,000 - nobody saying that and all of a sudden when it comes to the Christians well but take a step back we realize that people flesh-and-blood people they're not her enemies that there's a spirit behind all of that and so don't get all up in arms when the world can't figure out you know why you're prospering and why you have this and why you have that don't don't even give it you give it a second look the ones I have a problem with are the Christians the longer we do this I just don't understand how our own people eat their own cannibals that call themselves Christians all mad because somebody has got something more than them it don't understand how if that was me I would have spent the money different than what ain't ever gonna be you cuz you'll never get to that point because you think that's too much all people are doing you got to watch yourself when you start putting limits on people on what's excessive and what's lavish and what's too much number one you're judging people so so in your sin on that one and then you get offended on it so you getting sin on that one and then you know offended people don't know how to shut their mouths because they like to talk so you're gonna gossip and you're in sin on that one so you do better just rejoicing for people blessing people thanking God for what they have be happy for people you know you should be happy when I get something I should be happy when you get something we ought to be praising together and and praising God together and being thankful together when somebody gets a new house man that's the time to rejoice that's the time to get excited but if you can't get excited about somebody else being blessed well you might as well forget about anything coming your way think about this a hundred and seventy eight billion dollars wasn't even the building just what was going in it and then check this out so you remember the the Holy of Holies this was the place where the Ark of the Covenant was this was a place where where the the high priest he would go in once a year to atone for the sins of all the Israelites and go and meet with God the holy of holies if you look at the measurements in the Old Testament the holy of holies was roughly about 900 square feet roughly about 900 square feet and I think this is just crazy rough about 900 square feet and so Salomon and this isn't counting all of that 178 billion dollars I go to went into building stuff that now we get into the decor and in that nine hundred square feet a Holy of Holies he went in there and spent over a million dollars just overlaying the walls with gold he imagined million dollar wall coverings I ain't talking about spackle we're not talking about sheetrock mud we're talking about taking gold and putting a halt over your walls absolutely amazing and yet again you look at these things that people go oh you got to lavish that house is too big that you know you shouldn't have two cars you shouldn't have you know you shouldn't have this shouldn't have that shouldn't have all those clothes well if it was me I would do more and yet you look at God and God's the one who said I want you to do it this way I want you to do it this way I want you to do it this way and the thing is if we don't start changing our mindset and seeing things the way that God sees them we're never gonna be able to do what God wants us to do we're never gonna accomplish what God wants us to be able to accomplish here on we're here on the earth lastly let me show you this one look over at first Kings chapter 10 so this is a story of Queen Sheba when she came to check out Solomon Queen Sheba she had been hearing about the wisdom of Solomon and the wealth of Solomon all the phenomenal things that he had and so she decided I gotta check this out for myself and so she gets his massive Caravan and she goes to King Solomon to check things out and if you started here and verse 4 it says the Queen of Sheba when she saw the wisdom of Solomon and those and when she saw the what that he built when she saw that mobile home that he built and the lack of food on the table and no order of service and the greatness of the you know all those the clothes that they had that we're all ratty and stained and had holes all in them man she fainted she's just like wow that's a good god no she was blown away by his house she was blown away by his servants and how well they were dressed and how well they were fed and the Bible says she fainted you ever had anybody walk in your house and faint I haven't either I ain't there yet now some people may walk in your house and faint cuz the smell or the dirt or something but nobody is walked in any of our house and said oh my god this is amazing look at the wealth of this place and if we end it right there well we could say well you know saman maybe he was a little conceited maybe the hill was a little arrogant or something like this but they don't want you to go on down to verse nine and notice this statement by Queen Sheba this is amazing in verse nine she says this praise the Lord your God who delights in you and placed you on this throne because of the Lord's eternal love for it is where he has made you King so you can rule check it out so you can rule with what justice and with what righteousness now this is interesting to me here's this dude the richest man on the planet and and she's attesting to God that God's the one that place them here God's want did this and and that God's gonna allow him to rule with justice and righteousness and yet the world would say and sadly the vast majority of Christians would say that's not right for him to have all that money that's not justice well you'll find out in the kingdom of God there is no equality when it comes to money there's no equality now the ability is there but there's no equality because garlic going to force everything on you you got to believe it and you got to receive it that's why Jesus made this statement he said you will always have the poor with you but you won't have me now we know with salvation Jesus came to redeem us from the curse which is sickness and disease and spiritual death and poverty but just because Jesus made that available to us doesn't mean that people are going to receive of that so you're always going to have poor people around why because either they don't know or they don't believe it's just that simple but she said you rule with justice and you rule with righteousness and if you remember last week we made the statement and it just came out of my mouth I've never even thought about it before I'm gonna study it out some more and I was doing a little bit this morning but this connection between righteousness and rich righteousness and rich that you can be righteous and you can be rich at the same time and when you really begin to study this thing out and I started seeing it when you really start looking at this that you're it's your righteousness and not only puts you in a position for your for your health it's also your righteousness that puts you in the position to share of God's wealth that's what Paul was talking about in Ephesians chapter one and verse three we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places we're in Christ in Christ is that position of righteousness right standing right nosov God to rule with justice and righteousness and then the Bible it just gets even better then the Bible tells us that Queen Sheba turns around and with this big great Caravan that she brought to Solomon she brought all of these spices and all these jewels and she brought nine thousand pounds of gold nine thousand pounds of gold you know how much that nine thousand pounds of gold would be worth today a hundred and eighteen million dollars that woman came and gave unto him one hundred like she saw all this stuff that he had and she said hey you know what I know you don't need it but he doesn't wanna bless you one hundred eighteen million dollars talk about a birthday gift you imagine when I give you a hundred eighteen million dollars he didn't even need it and notice no where does God step in and say that is sinful that's lavish has to lavish of a gift that's too much and Noah Stallman doesn't go hey we can't accept that because that goes over and above our quota that God allows us to have and gold and silver you don't see any of this mess but if you live in church world today it's ridiculous I made one little statement you know two weeks ago and I'm still getting comments on it's just insane about about money and everything making comments every day I like to kind of just push people's buttons a little bit you know and people are just getting mad Christian's getting mad over this stuff just crazy people saying that this is too much and that's too much that's too lavish but remember we pointed out earlier that in Kenya they think having a TV that's lavish and yeah you know we're late you know when we were over in some old we were over there and you know that the wealthy people they're the ones that have walls on their houses that their houses there they're called follows and these follows it would be like the equivalent of like a pole barn here anybody know what a pole barn is you know you really don't have a slab a concrete slab you just you get some poles and you put them in the ground and then you build your roof and put your walls on it the wealthy people there had walls and the people that had a decent amount of money they actually had a concrete slab most of the people there they just have the poles and the roof and that's their house that's their house and yet people will sit there and complain about somebody else that their houses is excessive but I'm telling you people in Samoa think that your house is excessive you realize that in America even if you're the poorest of the poor that you're considered to be in the top 8% of the wealth in the world if you're the poorest of the poor in America you're still considered to be in the top 8% of wealth in the world so in all reality everything that you and I have is excess your TV is excessive your car is excessive your house except you don't need a couch you could sit on the floor you could give that money to the poor and you could sit on the float give to the Pope and sit on the float your eyes you don't even need a toilet you can just dig a hole in the ground when I was over in Kenya I was in this little town called lo Tok Tok and for an entire week there they didn't have no toilet they had on hold I'm telling you that whole it stunk I would walk in there and I will hold my nose and do my business and try to get out because the Flies that were in there just swarming all over you it's excessive how many pair of shoes do you have that's excessive because I know all of you pretty much got more than one pair and think about all these people around the world that don't have a parish use them all again so you could take off all those shoes and you go sell I mean you can just search the one down the list you know you when you go to the store you don't have to have name-brand cereal and get multiple meals I had malt-o-meal and I'm telling you malt-o-meal Froot Loops don't taste like the real Froot Loops I grew up on multiple mill when I tasted the real fruit loose I was like glory hallelujah look what the Lord has done this is the real deal real fruit loops not malt-o-meal fruit they don't taste the same they don't taste the same they don't they don't taste the same you know when you walk in your kitchen you don't have to have the nice stainless steel little appliances you don't have to have that big side-by-side refrigerator you could have one of those ones like you had in your dorm when you were in college and if you have one of those you ain't gonna have to worry about wasting food you're only gonna go to get a few things in there you won't be excessive and you won't be lavish what about your toilet paper oh oh that's it that's a necessity you don't need to ply with lotion built into it no no you don't have to have to ply with lotion you don't have to have that that's superior you know ultra cotton L you don't have to have that you could have that sandpaper stuff you know you know what I'm talking about and yet inria in all reality you know there's some place in the world they don't have to hold the paper you know you we could just get rid of everything you could go outside and you could do your business in the woods and you could use a leaf and then anything extra you could just get off the grass and you could scoot like a doll you know like it's all excessive it's all lavish you don't need all that stuff but you know no where's God I only know why I said that but you don't you're never gonna find where God says no no no no no no no you got too much you got too much you don't need socks you could just wear your shoes without socks you could have one pair of pants one perish one shirt one pair underwear wear them every day hey there's some of those places I've been they don't have underwear no some of those places I had to turn the other way cover yourself up they had everything but they would look at us and think we're excessive and we got all these goofy people that call themselves Christians just griping and fussing and fighting because god this person's got that this person has this and that's just too much and that's just lavish and then you wonder why most Christians are just flat-out broke just flat-out broke and so when it comes to you know building funds and this and that I mean we just gotta resort to selling our cookies and and going down there Walmart standing out there you know with our buckets and standing on the corner you know with our little low homemade little signs made with mark I'm thinking this if you're going to go out there as a church and you're gonna beg for money at least look like you know what you're doing I mean if you're gonna beg for money as a church you should have at least a better son than the homeless person stand on the corner begging for money I mean don't go out there and get your poster board and get you a little marker the other day I was driving by and I saw this one church they were at one of these car places and they were doing a car wash to raise money for their building I want to go over there and just slap all of them because not only were they doing that but then their signs just sucked like poster board with market you can barely read what it is and it's just all handwritten my kids I'm thinking at least go down like fast signs or something and get you a nice sign but all this is just poverty poverty poverty poverty mentality just broke just little little thinking little thinking and you got to get out of that because if you're thinking like that you know how you're gonna give you're gonna give like that and you know how you're gonna receive and you know how you're gonna live you're gonna live just like that Paul made this it will close here Paul made this statement 2nd Corinthians 9 he said it's the generous giver it's gonna receive a generous harvest proverbs we saw it proverbs 10 in problems 11 it's the generous person that will be made what rich well but if you're always looking at everything as small you always look at everything as puny you're always looking at lack you're always look in that little that's the way you're gonna live if that's the way you're living well then you're just putting yourself in a position to not be able to be a blessing that people like God wants you to be he wants you to be a channel and he wants you to be a distributor of his wealth here's an interesting that in Philippians 4:19 he says that he'll meet all your needs according to his riches his riches where in glory in heaven the bank of heaven has no limits so don't be griping over $100 or $500 a thousand or fifty thousand five million fifty million hundred million whatever don't be griping over that think big dream big believe big so you can do what so you can receive big amen say this with me something you just need to just knock that mess out of your head because some of y'all looking funny say this with me I'm blessed I'm blessed in the city I'm blessed in the field I'm blessed wherever I go I'm blessed at home I'm blessed at work I'm blessed in the supermarket everything I put my hands to it's blessed because the blessing of the Lord is upon me because I'm in Christ and the blessing of the Lord it makes one rich so therefore you you're not lying you're not making anything if you're in Christ you're rich now your bank account may not show it yet it may not show it yet but we are not limited to this world's resources we're not limited to the limits of this world we are not conformed to this world we're not conformed to the world's way of doing things no we're gonna think like heaven so we can manifest them we are not only the healthy church we are the wealthy Church I want to be I want to be the first church in town who pays for a major city project I want us to I don't want that to be us just like Jesse Duplantis said in 40 years of ministry we have never had a church do that I want the mayor whoever it ends up being i want the mayor to say and all the years of jones were we have never had a church pay for a major construction project for the city I want though I want the city I want the reason to go Wow just like clean shaven Sheba's just woman oh my God look at all that praise God praise a little well look we don't like going without this we don't want you all thinking about it's just about money it's about Jesus and that's why we're talking about the money because it takes money to get the things about Jesus out but if you're sitting here this morning and you've never made Jesus the Lord and save your life we don't want you to go without doing that there anybody here recognize most of people's some new faces but once you three didn't want anyone anyone all right Lord ago everybody saved filled Hill thrilled and rich rich some of you you're gonna have to say that a whole lot this week cuz you grown up in a lot of religion some of you grew up in he still when that money comes in for the eight hundred thousand dollars to pay that off and he said this is my home phone number you better call me and he said you called me and he said I'm coming up and we're gonna have a mortgage burning ceremony we're going to celebrate and shout and holler and he said so I'm waiting on the call I said yes sir so anyway hey last Sunday we started something new we started a series called breaking broke and I don't know about you I've been broke I've been so so broke you know you couldn't even afford all the other letters like you've ever been in that place where you're in the water and you got one nostril above the water like I've been there man just really really bad but we spent some time last week just going through the scripture and finding out that God is not his will for you to be broke it's not his good will for you to be poor now if you listen to most Christians you would think otherwise God doesn't want you broke he doesn't want you poor he actually wants you what rich we found out in Deuteronomy chapter 8 that it tells us that it's the blessing of the Lord that makes one what rich makes one rich and we saw over in Proverbs many times it says it's the generous person that will be made what rich and in 2nd Corinthians chapter 8 we found that it says that that Jesus he laid aside everything he became poor so that you and I could become rich and so he found out that rich it is not a bad four-letter word it's not because when you understand the purpose of prosperity and the purpose of finances the reason God wants you to be enriched is that we saw in 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 and verse 8 through 10 because he wants you to be able to be rich toward others in other words he wants you to be able to be a blessing on other people because when you have money then you can give money away when you have money you can lend money when you have money you can buy stuff for people and it's just absolutely amazing to me how there's so many pastors and sisters out there who believe that God wants you poor and yet they take up an offering in tithes every Sunday and they they preach that God wants you poor but then they want you to give to the building fund makes absolutely no sense to me at all I even had and this is this is beyond wild I mean actually had some missionaries Bashan now you would think missionaries of all all people in the ministry would want people to prosper in it so they could give them money and support them on the floor and field I had missionaries bashing me and telling me that God don't want you to have stuff I'm thinking you are out of your ever-loving mind and yet they want people to support them and help you can't support nobody if you don't have any stuff to support with you have to have finances I even had some money this morning and say well it seems like you're manipulating during the gospel because I made the statement that the gospel costs money to get it out it's not free it costs money and he said well you're just manipulating description no you tell me what whenever I gets to the point that the utility company gives it to us for free contractors and construction laborers will do what they do for free video editors do it for free the TV stations do it for free the hotels restaurants when they do all that for free then yeah it won't cost squat to get the gospel out but in the meantime the utility company isn't going to just give us free electricity because we're a church and contractors and the arkad they're not going it free Church they paid a couple of bill one thousand dollars fifty it ain't free it's not free so it costs money to be able to do these things and so one of the things that you and I have to do is we've got to break this mentality this poverty mentality is really what it is of how you and I are supposed to be living because if you read over in Romans chapter 12 and verse 2 this is what we always go back to Romans 12 verse 2 Paul says this he said I don't want you to be conformed to this world right he said don't be I want renewing of your mind don't want you to be conformed to this world but I want you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind in other words I don't want you thinking like the world thinks in other words this is an invitation to think like who like God because if you continue reading he said I don't want you to be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can prove out the will of God well we find out real quick with the will of God is because jesus said that the will of God is that the will of heaven be made manifest where on the earth Colossians chapter 3 verse 1 through 3 this is another one I always go back to and Paul said this he said I want you to set your mind on the what the realities of heaven where Christ is for you have died and your real life is hidden with Christ in God so Paul's telling us you need to think like God and you need to think and view the life on this earth according to the perspective of heaven well how many of you know that heaven ain't broke right I mean the Bible tells us that the things are just a little bit different there than it is here I love heaven and the New Jerusalem that's gonna come down I mean you're not talking about a broke place they don't even use concrete building materials or gold and silver and jewels and look right those are God's building materials not the concrete and yet and listening to people you would think that God's broken he wants you broke too so want you to look at something we're gonna spend a little time and I just want you to see God I want you to see how he thinks and how he operates because you're gonna find that God's method of operation it's not lack it's not little it's excess everything God does it's excess its lavish its abundance there's always too much there's always more than enough and the more that we begin to think like God then we'll begin to see like God and once you begin to see like God then you'll be able to start believing like God and when you believe like God then you'll start receiving like God and you'll certainly manifesting like God and hey we'll get our job done here so Genesis chapter 1 all you little Bible scholars what's going on in Genesis chapter 1 creation and in Genesis chapter 1 and verse 3 you see this wonderful statement and says God said let there be light and there was what there was light isn't it interesting that God never said stop and what you find out is and science has proven it time and time again that light it just never stopped when God said light be light was and it kept on going and as a result of that our universe is continuing to expand like we we can't even see far enough to see the end of this thing and scientists have proven here over the last couple of years that that our universe that we know of is not only continuing to expand but it's expanding faster than the speed of light in other words light is fast but the way God has done this thing is that light is trying to catch up with the expansion of the universe I was reading an article this morning in scientists they said they actually proved through some research just about two years ago that at first they thought that based on the stats and the research at first they thought that the universe was going to end up stopping but now based on new calculations they said that it it appears that the universe is just going to continue to expand throughout eternity and that was their word science word eternity just gonna get in you throughout attorney well think about this I mean wasn't God just satisfied with the Milky Way I mean he made the earth why do we need Neil Saturn and Uranus and be like why do we need all the other ones they're just there and why don't we know you know all these stars I mean there's just too many stars we realized that's just within the Milky Way why God could have stopped but he just kept on making stuff and what's interesting is you begin to kind of take a look at science and and what's out there and it's absolutely mind-boggling when you begin to look at the numbers like the Milky Way it's one of the smallest galaxies and in the known universe but there's also the unknown universe it's the part of the universe that's so far out there that light hasn't been able to come back to us the bounce off of what's out there but the Milky Way is one the small mucks galaxies it's here and the Milky Way if you were to go from one side to the other it would take you about a hundred thousand years going at the speed of light and that's one of the smallest the Milky Way us is one of the smallest galaxies one of the largest galaxies in the in the known universe it would take you 1 billion years going at the speed of light just to get to it and that's within our you know our little little galaxy and once you get there it would take you six million light years 6 million years going at the speed of light to go from one side of it to the other and within that they said there there's like a hundred trillion stars that they found just within that galaxy that's not counting our galaxy that seems like a little bit too much a little bit of extravagance a little bit of excess wouldn't you think and yet you speak you begin to think of those things and look at those things and then it seems really stupid that we're arguing about $10,000 or $50,000 or you know five million dollars 50 million dollars we're talking about a big dot that we serve and that's just the universe I mean have you ever walked out and seen how much grass is out here and how much dirt is out here and how much water is in here and all the fish that are in the sea I mean there's fish in the sea that people are still discovering way at the bottom of the of the ground that we're still discovering things that God made millions and I mean all these things that's happened over thousands of years and millions of years like just absolutely mind-boggling absolutely Maybach and if you want just something just to boggle your mind over anymore this is my theory you can't necessarily disprove it but this is my theory is that when God made Adam and Eve and he said I want you to replenish the earth and then once once they did that they were to move on yeah see some of the strange strange looks dude my my theory is this is that what we're gonna be doing for the rest of eternity is occupying the rest of the universe now see I got even more looks miss even Jesus said this he said she was talking to the to those servants you know that he gave the talents to and he said the one who increased he said you're gonna rule over ten cities and the other one said you're gonna rule over five cities see there's gonna be some ruling and reigning in eternity we're not gonna be you just flying around like fat little babies playing or harp there's some eternal rewards and it's going to be in a in a government leadership standpoint you realize that even during the millennial reign when we come back with Jesus they're still going to be people here that made it through the tribulation that's gonna have these bodies these mortal bodies but you and I are gonna be in our immortal bodies and we're gonna be ruling and reigning over them with Jesus anyway don't get too excited about it but I don't know about you but I think it'd be cool you know some people get excited about being mayor over city can you be an you imagine being like governor over a galaxy you see that's just too big thinking for some people you know or satisfy well nevermind so exodus chapter 35 this is where we're gonna kind of center in on the money thing because i want to help you think bigger I'm trying to help myself think bigger you know we're all at different places in this right you know when you begin to look at at numbers you know there were numbers to me back when I was younger that that we're huge to me and now they've gotten smaller yet but there's always bigger numbers and I'm always going after to make those big numbers seem small to me it's one thing we've endeavored to do with the Jake is that make sure that at his age the things that were big to me are not big to him and so we should always be pushing and always be increasing to make the big things of this world seem small and yet you begin again you begin to talk to Christians about money and it's just absolutely mind-blowing how how people begin to argue over money and you shouldn't have this and you shouldn't have that well that's just too excessive you know I had this one lady telling me that well no no creatures should be owned in a jet you know they should just fly commercial and I said well if that's the case you know why don't you just sell your car and ride the bus because she told me she said well they could just get that money and the money they'd be saving they could just give it to the poor and I said well you're a hypocrite because you could sell your car give that to Bohr and you could ride the bus well then open mouth insert foot cuz then she goes well but the bus schedules wouldn't allow me to get to where I need to you on time I was like praise God hallelujah you just busted open the door I'm about to squash you I say because do you realize that based on certain schedules you know and what you're trying to do there's sometimes many times depend on what you're doing you ain't gonna make it there and she said well but my car's a necessity because I gotta get to work well you know for a pastor you know that main tool is the building you need a building but but if you're a traveling guy traveling gal well you don't necessarily need a building but you need a way to get there and you can't go all around the world on a bus and you can't go around the world in a car you know our congregation is here in Jonesboro take Jesse Duplantis his congregation is the world and she's third arguing about this and she said well that's just lavish that's just excessive I said okay so how much is okay five million ten million I mean tell me the number so we can make sure it's okay with God because if you're gonna put a number on that we need to put a number on your car because what you think is excessive you know might be it might not be excessive to others right and then some others might think that what you have is excessive I said can you have a BMW can you have a Mercedes or does it have to be a Ford or a Chevy or a Subaru and then if it has to be a four-door Civic can it be new or does it have to be used and if it's used okay can it still have you know the limited edition trim package can it have some some special rims can it have a CD player in there can I have an MP can it have a DVD navigation I mean that might be a little excessive see the problem is that once you start defining what is excessive for other people you shut yourself off right then it's it's this it's this area you're gonna get in that you're never gonna win because do you realize that over in Kenya we've been over there - Kenya twice you're always over there then having a television is for the rich people I remember riding in the cab with a guy and I've been there for almost two weeks acid man I said I've noticed I haven't seen hardly any TVs around here televisions he said oh it's because those are for the rich people he said do you have a television I said yeah I mean actually I have I got I got a little sheepish and I said well actually we've got one in our bedroom and my son's got one and we have one living room and one in the kitchen because you have one in the kitchen and I said yeah he's a man you must be rich and I said well no I'm not you know certainly not rich and compared American standards and he said what kind of TV is it well so the one hour bedroom you know it's it's like 40 48 inches or something like that flat screen oh my you're super rich he said he said people here don't have flat screens they have tube TVs as a man we use those we put those on the curb we use them for door stops like we don't have two TVs anymore he said we got all ours our flatscreen and he said oh man y'all must be so rich and see over there it's excessive to have a multiple TVs but here we don't consider anything in many ways we consider it to be a necessity let's see that's where you get on dangerous ground when you begin to say well this is excessive that's lavish well it may maybe not to you but it may be to other people but you'll never find where God said that's too much you're never gonna find in scripture actually when you begin to follow his model and his methodology you're gonna find out there is really no limit in exodus chapter of 35 and through chapter 38 God he gives Moses the instructions for his tabernacle now this is interesting to me because he's building the tabernacle forgot and this granted think about this this is not a permanent building okay this is a moving building this is something that they were using all throughout their forty years going through the wilderness that would house the Ark of the Covenant and the Articles that God had had Moses and the people make so this wasn't Moses his idea God is the one who gave Moses these instructions up on the mountain and so I want you to look at this now this is just the bronze and the silver and the gold this is this is not the other building materials this is not you know that the fabrics and the woods and all this is just you know the fine metals God told them to use one ton of gold three and three-quarter tons of silver and two and a half tons of bronze God told them to do that now if you were thinking if if you were looking at current Christian Society can you imagine if you put a ton of gold into this building imagine how many days we would be in the front page of the Jonesboro Sun they would just get up permanent picture of me and lacy and just stick it there and just talk about how we're money hungry and we're wasteful and we're too lavish and we don't care about the pool and we don't care about this we just care about ourselves but it's interesting that God is the one who said hey I want you to build this and I want you to use this now that may seem like a lot and it is but let me give you the numbers of what that would be worth today you ready I hold on to your little chairs they're just that one ton of gold one ton and and today's market value would be worth 28 million five hundred sixty thousand dollars can you imagine spending spending on not building the building for 28 million building your building and then putting almost twenty nine million dollars of gold on the inside of it that was just the gold and then the silver was it's three hundred and ninety six thousand dollars a ton so just the gold and silver alone would have been worth almost thirty million dollars that's not counting the bronze and and remember some of the Articles that God had Moses make you member he had like a candlestick you know the little candelabra and he had the table of showbread in this neck you know how much that candlestick would be worth today and the Bible gives us the very specific amounts of what was put into this thing you know how much that little candlestick would be worth today almost a million and a half dollars for one candlestick and this wasn't a man's idea you know whose idea this was God's the one who said Moses I want you to build it like this I want you to use these materials and here's the plan and you know what's interesting is that Moses tells us in the scriptures he said God gave me the plans and it was a copy it was a replica of what's in heaven I'm telling you God ain't broke and he doesn't want you broke and he doesn't want to be represented as bro see and the church riches a curse word but actually broke on to be a customer hmm and think about it this wasn't a permanent building again this was just a traveling a little tent that's moving around the tabernacle well this is where it gets even more interesting let me let me read you about Solomon's Temple so last week we we saw her David David went about the task of collecting all the materials for his son Solomon to build a permanent place a permanent house for God and we saw that David from his own personal will gave one and a half billion dollars to Wars the building of the temple that was just David's personal wealth that he gave from and then we found that david's mighty men who mind you were broke before they met David and David's mighty man gave two and a half billion dollars towards towards the the temple and so these are the these are the materials that went in there for Solomon's Temple there was 11 million pounds of gold and you can read about this and first chronicles chapter 29 it's all there first chronicles chapter 29 there's 11 million pounds of gold you know how much that that 11 million pounds of gold would be worth today take a guess 157 billion dollars you think Bill Gates has money hey remember a couple of years when Jerry Jones Jerry Jones the owner of the Dallas Cowboys remember a couple years ago when Jerry Jones built the new stadium for the Dallas Cowboys and he spent a billion dollars and and and the media went nuts even for you know football in America people are saying that's just that's just waste that's too much money on a stadium that was for a billion in this temple that was being built not for the rock not for the labor just the gold that was going in there hundreds of billions of dollars that was just the gold and then look at the silver how much silver is in that go back that last one 110 million pounds of silver can't even imagine seeing how much that is Hernan 10 million pounds of that silver so just for the gold and the silver alone that was going in this place a hundred and seventy eight billion dollars not the building just what's going on the inside of it just just to build things just the gold that's not counting the cedar that went in there and that's now counting all the others just the gold and the silver that was going in there almost 200 billion dollars and think about this friends this is where it's interesting too is that that two hundred billion dollars you know where that came from came from the Israelites isn't that interesting God's people weren't broke and isn't interesting that the Bible says about David that he was a man after God's own heart and not one time well you find God telling David you got too much money a little filthy sinner heathen you need to give some of that money away you give it to this person you got too much you'll never find God say that and you find with Solomon he was even richer than his daddy and not one time did God tell Solomon you got too much you got too much money you need to get rid of that that's excessive that's lavish you're a filthy rotten scoundrel you got too much money you never find that but if Solomon was alive today you better bet CNN ABC Fox CBS would be all over that man that prophet of God he's got too much money because isn't that what they do today those preachers those Christians they got two months money now you know it it's okay for the rappers and this and that to have all their money and bling and you know and having like $10,000 you know pieces of whatever in their teeth and LeBron James you know pointed out last week at me hit I'm almost a $50,000 outfit on and everybody's just talking about how he looked cool and fly walking in the game one of the finals where we see how that got I didn't work out too well but nobody sitting there saying Oh LeBron that's lavish that's that's too excessive you should have gave some of that money there look at all those poor people outside of the stadium think about how many people you could have fed you know that $40,000 1/2 but nobody's saying that and all of a sudden when it comes to the Christians well but take a step back we realize that people flesh-and-blood people they're not her enemies that there's a spirit behind all of that and so don't get all up in arms when the world can't figure out you know why you're prospering and why you have this and why you have that don't don't even give it you give it a second look the ones I have a problem with are the Christians the longer we do this I just don't understand how our own people eat their own cannibals that call themselves Christians all mad because somebody has got something more than them and don't understand how and that was me I would have spent the money different than what ain't ever gonna be you cuz you'll never get to that point because you think that's too much all people are doing you got to watch yourself when you start putting limits on people on what's excessive and what's lavish and what's too much number one you're judging people so suing your sin on that one and then you get offended on it so you getting sin on that one and then you know offended people don't know how to shut their mouth because they like to talk so you're gonna gossip and you're in sin on that one so you do better just rejoicing for people blessing people thanking God for what they have be happy for people you know you should be happy when I get something I should be happy when you get something we ought to be praising together and and praising God together and being thankful together when somebody gets a new house man that's the time to rejoice that's the time to get excited but if you can't get excited about somebody else being blessed what you might as well forget about anything coming your way think about this a hundred and seventy eight billion dollars wasn't even the building just what was going in it and then check this out so you remember the the Holy of Holies this was the place where the Ark of the Covenant was this is a place where where the the the high priest he would go in once a year to atone for the sins of all the Israelites and go and meet with God the holy of holies if you look at the measurements in the Old Testament the holy of holies was roughly about 900 square feet roughly about 900 square feet and I think this is just crazy rough about 900 square feet and so Salomon and this isn't counting all of that 178 billion dollars I go to went into building stuff that now we get into the decor and in that nine hundred square feet a Holy of Holies he went in there and spent over a million dollars just overlaying the walls with gold he imagined million dollar wall coverings I ain't talking about spackle we're not talking about sheetrock mud we're talking about taking gold and putting a hall over your walls absolutely amazing and yet again you look at these things that people go oh you got to lavish that house is too big that you know you shouldn't have two cars you shouldn't have you know you shouldn't have this shouldn't have that shouldn't have all those clothes well if it was me I would do more and yet you look at God and God's the one who said I want you to do it this way I want you to do it this way I want you to do it this way and the thing is if we don't start changing our mindset and seeing things the way that God sees them we're never gonna be able to do what God wants us to do we're never gonna accomplish what God wants us to build accomplish here on we're here on the earth lastly let me show you this one look over at first Kings chapter 10 so this is a story of Queen Sheba when she came to check out Solomon Queen Sheba she had been hearing about the wisdom of Solomon and the wealth of Solomon all the phenomenal things that he had and so she decided I gotta check this out for myself and so she gets his massive Caravan and she goes to King Solomon to check things out and if you started here and verse 4 it says the Queen of Sheba when she saw the wisdom of Solomon and those and when she saw the what that he built when she saw that mobile home they bill and the lack of food on the table and no order of service and the greatness of the you know all those the clothes at the head that we're all ratty and stained and had holes all in it man she fainted she's just like wow that's a good god no she was blown away by his house she was blown away by his servants and how well they were dressed and how well they were fed and the Bible says she fainted you ever had anybody walk in your house and faint I haven't either I ain't there yet now some people may walk in your house and faint cuz the smell or the dirt or something but nobody is walked in any of our house and said oh my god this is amazing look at the wealth of this place and if we end it right there well we could say well you know Solomon maybe he was a little conceited maybe he was a little arrogant or something like this but they don't want you to go on down to verse nine and notice this statement by Queen Sheba this is amazing in verse nine she says this praise the Lord your God who delights in you and placed you on this throne because of the Lord's eternal offer is where he is made you King so you can rule check it out so you can rule with what justice and with what righteousness now this is interesting to me here's this dude the richest man on the planet and and she's attesting to God that God's the one that place them here God's want did this and and that God's gonna allow him to rule with justice and righteousness and yet the world would say and sadly the vast majority of Christians would say that's not right for him to have all that money that's not justice well you'll find out in the kingdom of God there is no equality when it comes to money there's no equality now the ability is there but there's no equality because Garlin gonna force everything on you you got to believe it and you got to receive it that's why Jesus made this statement he said you will always have the poor with you but you won't have me now we know with salvation Jesus came to redeem us from the curse which is sickness and disease and spiritual death and poverty but just because Jesus made made that available to us doesn't mean that people are going to receive of that so you're always going to have poor people around why because either they don't know or they don't believe it's just that simple but she said you rule with justice and you rule with righteousness and if you remember last week we made the statement it just came out of my mouth I never even thought about it before I'm gonna study it out some more and I was doing a little bit this morning but this connection between righteousness and rich righteousness and rich now you can be righteous and you can be rich at the same time and when you really begin to study this thing out and I started seeing it when you really start looking at this that you're it's your righteousness and not only puts you in a position for you for your health it's also your righteousness that put you in the position to share of God's wealth that's what Paul was talking about in Ephesians chapter one and verse three we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places we're in Christ in Christ is that position of righteousness right standing right nasaw to rule with justice and righteousness and then the Bible it just gets even better then the Bible tells us that Queen Sheba turns around and with this big great Caravan that she brought to Solomon she brought all of these spices and all these jewels and she brought nine thousand pounds of gold nine thousand pounds of gold you know how much that nine thousand pounds of gold would be worth today 118 million dollars that woman came and gave unto him 100 like she saw all this stuff that he had and she said hey you know what I know you don't need it but here I just want to bless you 118 million dollars talk about a birthday gift you imagine when I give you a hundred eighteen million dollars he didn't even need it and notice no where does God step in and say that is sinful that's lavish that's too lavish of a gift that's too much and Noah Stallman doesn't go hey we can't accept that because that goes over and above our quota that God allows us to have and gold and silver you don't see any of this mess but if you live in church world today it's ridiculous I made one little statement you know two weeks ago and I'm still getting comments on that's just insane about not money and every making comments every day I like the kind just push people's buttons a little bit you know and people are just getting mad Christian's getting mad over this stuff just crazy people saying that this is too much and that's too much that's too lavish but remember we pointed out earlier that in Kenya they think they're having a TV that's lavish and yeah you know we're late you know when we were over in some old we were over there and you know that the wealthy people they're the ones that have walls on their houses that their houses there they're called Follis and these fellows it would be like the equivalent of like a pole barn here anybody know what a pole barn is now you really don't have a slab a concrete slab you just you get some poles and you put them in the ground and then you build your roof and put your walls on it the wealthy people there had walls and the people that had a decent amount of money they actually had a concrete slab most of the people there they just have the poles and the roof and that's their house that's their house and yet people will sit there and complain about somebody else that their houses is excessive but I'm telling you people in Samoa think that your house is excessive you realize that in America even if you're the poorest of the poor that you're considered to be in the top eight percent of the wealth in the world you're the poorest of the poor in America you're still considered to be in the top eight percent of wealth in the world so in all reality everything that you and I have is excess your TV is excessive your car is excessive your house except you don't need a couch you could sit on the floor you could give that money to the poor and you could sit on the float give to the Pope and sit on the float your eyes you don't even need a toilet you can just dig a hole in the ground when I was over in Kenya I was in this little town called lo Tok Tok and for an entire week there they didn't have no toilet they had on whole I'm telling you that whole it stunk I would walk in there and I will hold my nose and do my business and try to get out because the Flies that were in there just swarming all over you it excessive how many pair of shoes do you have that's excessive because I know all of you pretty much got more than one pair and think about all these people around the world that don't have a parish use a walk-in so you could take off all those shoes and you can go sell up I mean you can just sir going down the list you know you when you go to the store you don't have to have name-brand cereal and get multilateral military you malt-o-meal Froot Loops don't taste like the real Froot Loops I grew up on multiple mill when I tasted the real fruit loose I was like glory hallelujah look what the Lord has done this is the real deal real Froot Loops not multi milk fruit they don't taste the same they don't taste the same they don't they don't taste the same you know when you walk in your kitchen you don't have to have the nice stainless steel little appliances you don't have to have that big side-by-side refrigerator you could have one of those ones like you had in your dorm when you were in college and if you have one of those you ain't gonna have to worry about wasting food you're only gonna go to get a few things in there you won't be excessive and you won't be lavish what about your toilet paper oh oh that's it that's a necessity you don't need to ply with lotion built into it no no you don't have to have to ply with lotion you don't have to have that that's superior you know ultra cotton L you don't have to have that you could have that sandpaper stuff you know you know what I'm talking about and getting real and all reality you know there's someplace in the world they don't have toilet paper you know you we could just get rid of everything you could go outside and you could do your business in the woods and you could use a leaf and then anything extra you can just get off the grass and you could scoot like a dog you know like it's all excessive it's all lavish you don't need all that stuff but you know no where's God I only know why I said that but you don't you're never gonna find where God says no no no no no no no you got too much you got too much you don't need socks you can just wear your shoes without socks you could have one pair of pants one parish one shirt one pair underwear wear them every day hey there's some of those places I've been they don't have underwear no some of those places I had to turn the other way cover yourself up they had everything but they would look at us and think we're excessive and we got all these goofy people that call themselves Christians just griping and fussing and fighting because god this person's got that this person has this and that's just too much and that's just lavish and then you wonder why most Christians are just flat-out broke just flat-out broke and so when it comes to you know building funds and this and that I mean we just gotta resort to selling our cookies and and going down there at Walmart and standing out there you know with our buckets and standing on the corner you know with our little low homemade little signs made with mark I'm thinking this if you're going to go out there as a church and you're gonna beg for money at least look like you know what you're doing I mean if you're gonna beg for money as a church you should have at least a better son than the homeless person standing on the corner begging for money I mean don't go out there and get your poster board and get you a little marker the other day I was driving by and I saw this one church they were at one of these car places and they were doing a car wash to raise money for their building I want to go over there and just slap all of them because not only were they doing that but then their signs just sucked like poster board with market you can barely read what it is and it's just all handwritten my kids I'm thinking at least go down like fast signs or something and get you a nice sign but all this is just poverty poverty poverty poverty mentality just broke just little little thinking little thinking and you got to get out of that because if you're thinking like that you know how you're gonna give you're gonna give like that and you know how you're gonna receive and you know how you're gonna live you're gonna live just like that Paul made this thing will close here Paul made this statement 2nd Corinthians 9 he said it's the generous giver it's gonna receive a generous harvest proverbs we saw it proverbs 10 in problems 11 it's the generous person that will be made what rich well but if you're always looking at everything as small you always look at everything as puny you're always looking at lack you're always look in that little that's the way you're gonna live if that's the way you're living well then you're just putting yourself in a position to not be able to be a blessing that people like God wants you to be he wants you to be a channel and he wants you to be a distributor of his wealth here's an interesting that in Philippians 4:19 he says that he'll meet all your needs according to his riches his riches where in glory in heaven the bank of heaven has no limits so don't be griping over $100 or $500 a thousand or fifty thousand five million fifty million hundred million whatever don't be griping over in that pink big dream big believe big so you can do what so you can receive big amen say this with me something you just need to just knock that mess out of your head because some of y'all looking fine say this with me I'm blessed I'm blessed in the city I'm blessed in the field I'm blessed wherever I go I'm blessed at home I'm blessed at work I'm blessed in the supermarket everything I put my hands to it's blessed because the blessing of the Lord is upon me because I'm in Christ and the blessing of the Lord it makes one rich so therefore you're not lying you're not making anything if you're in Christ you're rich now your bank account may not show it yet it may not show it yet but we are not limited to this world's resources we're not limited to the limits of this world we are not conformed to this world we're not conformed to the world's way of doing things no we're gonna think like heaven so we can manifest them we are not only the healthy church we are the wealthy church I want to be I want to be the first church in town who pays for a major city project I want us to I don't want that to be us just like Jesse Duplantis said in 40 years of ministry we have never had a church do that I want the mayor whoever it ends up being i want the mayor to say and all the years of jones were we have never had a church pay for a major construction project for the city i want though i want the city i want the reason to go wow just like you couldn't save it Sheba's just whoo oh my god look at all that praise God praise a little well look we don't like going without this we don't want you all thing is about it's just about money it's about Jesus and that's why we're talking about the money because it takes money to get the things about Jesus out but if you're sitting here this morning and you've never made Jesus the Lord and save your life we don't want you to go without doing that is there anybody here I recognize most of people's it's new faces but one two three anyone anyone anyone all right Lord ago everybody saved filled Hill thrilled and rich rich some
