foreign good evening clc and friends of clc we're so glad that you are watching service this evening but we ask of course that you're not just watching but participating in what the lord's will is for you tonight worship the lord just focus take everything else that's going on in your home and wherever you are sit down let's worship the lord stand up when we stand and sing in praises to the king of kings and the lord of lords tonight invite you to be interactive with the service this evening so let's start that right now by going to the lord in prayer and asking his presence to be felt in your home and his presence will be felt right here in this sanctuary jesus we give you glory and honor and praise we thank you lord for our church we thank you lord for our pastor and we thank you lord for your mercies are new every morning we thank you jesus that you died on the cross like calvary lord for our sins and that we have an opportunity right now to come together rather virtually or in this building to worship and honor you to give you glory and praise and tonight jesus we ask that your will be done upon every individual watching this service right now that they'll feel your annoying that they'll feel your strength that they'll feel your comfort that your healing will be upon their bodies in jesus name we pray though that you'll touch every musician and every singer tonight that you anoint the word as it goes forth into our ears and to our spirits let your will be done lord prepare our minds and our hearts for what you have in store for us this evening we submit this time lord that we serve an awesome god we thank you lord that there's no power greater than you we thank you lord that you care for our very souls and it just saved us jesus from a life of sin and death that we exchange in jesus for hope and hope for eternity upon this earth jesus and upon you in heaven jesus we love you lord [Music] thank you jesus as we go before the lord in prayer as we do every service we're going to pray for our president the leadership as the word of the lord has given us the instructions to do so and we're going to pray for every soul in this city and then this community that they will be brought to the lord and as we do if you have a prayer need there's a number right there on your screen we invite you to call the number and there's ministry available individually to pray with you we want the lord to hear your request and we know that the lord is going to touch you and of course we're going to continue to pray for our pastor he's on the mend i actually saw him just for a brief moment coming out of the office his office over at the church and we want the lord to continue to heal him the lord's doing a great work in his body but we want it to be a hundred percent we want the word of the lord to be delivered by our pastor from this sacred desk and i know that the body of christ is going to bind together right now and go before the lord in faith believing that just as he's touched our pastor before he's going to do it again right now and he's going to be restored with full strength jesus we go before you right now we thank you jesus for this church and we thank you lord for the incredible pastor that you've blessed us with and jesus right now we ask that you'll touch his body lord we know that he's not a hundred percent yet but he's gonna get there jesus we ask that you'll touch his body from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet right now in jesus name your word says that by your stripes we are healed and we have faith and believe jesus that you're doing it even as we speak right now lord that you'll touch his body strengthen his spirit continue to use him in the mighty way as you've done so far lord we want to hear from your word jesus through our pastor he is our shepherd jesus that you've given to us into this church and jesus not only for this city but the state in this country in this world as the gospel goes forth from this very pulpit lord we ask that you'll touch this city let your spirit reign upon stockton california let your spirit reign upon this state let your spirit reign upon this country jesus let your holy ghost reign upon all of us right now jesus give us the boldness to be witnesses for you across our neighbors and our friends those we come in contact with or either in person or online or a phone call or a text message we ask that you'll use us jesus to be witnesses for you and we speak right now to the north to the south to the east and the west that it must give up the souls that belong to you and to belong into your kingdom jesus that the enemy will not prevail the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church we ask that your will be done in it right now lord we ask that your protection and your healing be upon every individual in this church let your holy ghost reign upon us lord continue to give us your direction we submit our mind and our spirit unto you and jesus we ask right now that you'll touch our president and all those that are elected officials in our state and in our country and in this city jesus that they be used of you may your will be done not ours but thy will be done jesus thank him for hearing our prayers and acting on our behalf jesus we have an advocate with you thank you lord for touching our pastor and healing his body thank you lord for touching all of those that are watching right now that have an ailment in their body thank you jesus for providing for the needs of every individual watching right now thank you jesus for those that are suffering with depression we asked right now that your healing will be upon their spirit and that the joy of the holy ghost will reign right now [Music] we thank you jesus for responding and we thank you lord for the blessings we thank you jesus we thank you jesus we thank you jesus we thank you jesus what an awesome god we serve we have faith and believe in him and today we're going to continue to have faith and believe in him and our finances we thank you for your continued support what a blessing that has been it's now time for our wednesday evening tithe and offering [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] praise the lord christian life center amen how many feel the presence of god in your living room i'm so thankful i serve a god that's not confined to one location amen and we know the presence of god is here uh thank you so much for tuning in tonight for another wednesday evening midweek service i don't know about you but in these days i need more of god than i've ever had before and uh and maybe in times past a sunday morning altar experience would be enough for you to make it through your week but i know myself this midweek service has always been such an encouragement to my spirit and especially these prophecy lessons that our pastor has been teaching and brother johnson has been assisting him with and they've done just a fabulous and tremendous job that will be concluding very shortly we are in the latter part of the book of revelation tonight we're going to take a pause from those lessons pastor haney feels specific direction for this service if you were here a couple services ago sunday services the last time he preached he released something into the the atmosphere and you can feel it and even on our youtube page this particular video i was looking at it today because i wanted to be in tune with what god was doing tonight and this particular video just has so many more uh hits or views than than what we usually get people are hungry for what's for knowledge on what's going on in these end times and pastor haney asked me to continue that thought about what is happening in the world today in the spirit world and we're going to break that down in lesson form and i don't know if i'll get to preach in here soon or i i always preach at some point in the message but i always get a little bit excited but i just want to teach some things tonight from the word of god i believe the power is in the word of god i believe in getting excited i believe in jumping up and down and and letting your your body get involved but it's not the raising of my voice or the stomping of my feet that changes lives but it is the word of god everybody said amen if you have your bibles would you turn to the six the sixth chapter of isaiah the prophet isaiah chapter 6 amen this is a passage that i feel is very much in line with what the holy ghost is doing in the world today and i believe we're going to receive some great insight from this passage isaiah chapter 6 starting with verse 1. it says the following in the year that king uzziah died i saw also the lord everyone saved the lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up and his train filled the temple now it's very important to note that the call of isaiah takes place in the sixth chapter most often in other prophetic callings in the examples of ezekiel and jeremiah their calls come and most other times in scripture when you think of great men of god like samson and john the baptist their calls come either in their mother's womb at the beginning of their life or at least at the beginning of their ministry but isaiah is very unique in the fact that it doesn't take place until the sixth chapter now scholars are divided on this i have the personal belief that chapters one through five isaiah did prophesy he did attempt to do ministry he attempted there are some indicators i don't have time to get into tonight but that chapters one through five were isaiah's ministry before this experience he had with god and so chapter six is a revival or a resurgence of his ministry that was lackluster and it's very important to note a few things in this passage it says in the year that king uzziah died now if you understand about king uzziah we always talk about solomon being the great king of israel and that was kind of the golden age of israel's history the the greatest time of wealth the greatest time of prosperity was under king solomon but uzziah we would call this the silver age of israel's history it didn't it didn't quite reach the echelon that solomon's kingdom did but yaziah's kingdom was great in its own right and it was a time of prosperity it was a time of peace there were no wars under the reign of king uzziah it was a time where the nation of israel's borders were actually expanded this was a great time of blessing there was peace prosperity and and expansion so this was a good time in israel's history and isaiah growing up probably a middle-aged man at this time all he knew was rain under king uzziah and you king josiah reigned actually 53 years one of the longest reigning kings in israel's history and it's really powerful to know you know in the united states of america we get a new president every four or eight years and we're constantly shifting but isaiah comes from this place of comfortability he comes from this place where this is all he has ever known all he has ever known is peace all he's ever known is prosperity and all he has ever known is safety in his home now i know we live in the united states of america and media would always have us to believe things are worse than they really are or to or things that are not as bad when they should be considered worse but for the most part in the united states of america for the last hundred years we have uh enjoyed peace on our home soil safety and prosperity america is the number one gdp nation in the world we are the world power all of all of the united states part of me all of the world focuses focuses on what happens in the united states because their nations would be affected according to how the united states is elections and economy goes and so isaiah's in this this peculiar predicament where king uzziah just passes away and he didn't pass away in a beautiful or uh or poetic way but he died in a very shameful way this was a great king and i don't have time to get into it tonight but he got a little too ahead of himself he got into ahead of his ministry as it were as a king and he thought that he could offer sacrifices in the temple a job that was uh exclusively reserved for the priesthood and king josiah didn't honor the law of god he didn't honor the precepts that god had established in his word and he said i don't care what the word of god says i'm going to go in and do things my way and the moment king josiah did things his way the bible said he was struck with leprosy and ultimately he perished from that leprosy so isaiah is sitting in this position we just came from a great time in israel's history and our fearless leader died in a shameful way all the world is going to know about it we're going to be invaded on all sides our economy is going to collapse we don't know who the next leader is going to be if he's going to be godly or not it's a time of great political distress in the nation of israel imagine the position that isaiah was in imagine how he felt some of you feel that way even right now and he in the midst of this chaos god in his mercy gives him a vision and he says i saw the lord seated upon a throne and he was high and lifted up it's very important to note that most times in our bible when we read the word lord it's capital l-o-r-d if you have a king james bible or a new king james bible you can look even around these other passages if you scan the pages from chapter five all the way to end of chapter six you'll see the word lord capitalized l-o-r-d and most of us know what that is but for some of us that don't that was the name of god in the old testament yahweh but the scribes that copied over the text thought the name of god was too holy to be spoken or even written so what they did is they substituted it for the name l for l o rd capital lord but every time you see that that is the name of god but i want you to notice something in isaiah 6 and 1 the word lord is not capital l-o-r-d it's capital l-o-r-d and it's very important to note that this isn't a sub a substitute for the name of god in this passage this isn't a substitute this is isaiah saying in the midst of political unrest in the midst of social economic unrest in the midst of crippling fear i got a vision and i saw the true lord and he was still on his throne and that word lord can be so diluted in our modern context we pray lord i love you and we don't think of what that word actually means but when you get into the depths of what the word lord means it means he is the master of the universe he is the controller he is the one who is in charge the bible says in romans chapter 13 that governments are set up by the lord they're ordained of the lord it didn't just say good governments it didn't just say the the politicians that we like but whether we like them or not they're ordained of the lord just because things aren't going the way republicans think they should go or the way conservatives think they should go doesn't mean that god has vacated his throne i don't understand the sovereignty of god sometimes sometimes i wish i did sometimes i wish i knew why god made the decisions that he makes sometimes you know i think pastor talked about it recently that he sends a lying spirit to saul and and he said i have created both good and evil it says in isaiah and god does things that are so much higher than my finite knowledge i think it should be one way i think it has to be one way but sometimes it doesn't turn out the way i think it needs to turn out but god in his ever loving presence he comes to isaiah and i and he says i know everything looks bleak right now i know everything doesn't appear the way you think it should appear but i want to let you know isaiah that i'm still on the throne and i feel the holy ghost talent christian life center that god has not vacated his place of authority could you say amen in your home praise god and he was high and lifted up and his train filled the temple this was common this was a common a way of saying that the presence of god entered that temple and we have two other instances where the presence of god filled the temple and when those occasions happen and the presence of god came in one time in in kings and one time in exodus moses was there that the presence of god was so thick and it was so heavy that even the priests couldn't minister because the presence of god was so strong it caused them to fall to their knees and one thing i've learned is we we want the presence of god but when you come encounter with it it's going to change something in your life i'm telling you when the presence of god comes in you can't sit in a church service with your arms folded you can't come in and just watch everybody else get their blessing but when it comes in something inside of your flesh begins to respond to the divine and god filled that place and what i think is so unique about this and i was thinking about this as i was preparing is that the presence of god is infinite the residence of god is everywhere he is in all places later in the passage it says the whole earth is filled with his glory but it said it filled the temple one thing i've known one thing i've come to realize about god is that yes he is infinite but he fills the space that is available see if the temple was bigger in diameter hypothetically god gave the diameters of the temple but say it was bigger there would have been more of the presence of god in that place and god will fill the space in your life that's available if you've got a small portion for god in your life he'll fill that small portion if you've got a large portion in your life he'll fill that large portion the bible says he who soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly and he that soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully they both reap to harvest but one of them reaped according to what they've sown and the more you put into this thing of walking with god the more you're going to get out of it amen there's not this spiritual checklist that you have and you can only get so close to god and there's this this glass ceiling that you're going to hit one day and you just can't pray anymore but i've come to realize that i can have as much of god as i am willing to pursue everybody said amen he fills the space that is available to him so if you want more of god and i feel the holy ghost already right now you need to make more space for god in your life what does that look like that might mean you have to take some things out that are replacing god's space in your life you might need to give god more time you might need to give god uh more of an hour in your morning maybe you already give him an hour maybe you need to give him an extra hour but what i've learned if you give a space to god he will fill that space amen starting we're going to down to verse 2 and it stood pardon me above it stood the seraphim each one had six wings with twain he covered his face with twain he covered his feet and with twain he did fly uh the seraphim this is the only time the seraphim are listed in scripture the word seraphim has a connotation of fire to it these are these were fiery angels we can uh deduce from this passage that they were worshiping angels that they were created for the presence of god they were always in the presence of god and i want you to take note of their constitution and how are they they were created the bible said they had six wings now if if a creature had six wings he probably could fly pretty fast that would be my first idea but when you read it closer these angels only flew with two wings they had four other wings that were created the bible says as a covering they covered their feet and they covered their face so even angels i know us as humans we have sin and we have the blood of jesus but when you're in the angelic realm one sin and you're gone we look at satan i think it's so interesting the bible says that he had thought in his heart he wanted to be like like the most high it wasn't even like an egregious thing that the moment the thought entered into his heart the moment just a an inkling of sin entered into satan's heart god kicked him out for eternity and forever and damned him for everlasting punishment so in the angelic realm they don't really have room to sin yet even these angels that have not committed sins in our sense of the idea still don't feel worthy to be in the presence of god and they were created with four wings specifically to cover them from the glory of god if you study throughout scripture if any man were to come in contact with the direct glory of god he would die even god told moses i can't show you my full glory i can just show you the hinder parts of my glory because it would kill you and that's why we need jesus to come down and he became that covering for us the bible says that the covering the head of every man is christ and the head of every woman is man and that's why women that's why we don't cut our hair that's why we use the language of it's for the glory sake it's because of the angels because when you enter the presence of god you have the covering of your husband and you have the covering of jesus christ everyone said praise the lord amen verse 3 and one cried unto another and said holy holy holy is the lord of hosts the whole earth is filled with his glory now in this particular instance i've heard there's songs that said the angels worshiped to god but this was not worship they did not worship to god in my in my sense of worship i've always thought of worship as praying directly to god i wouldn't consider worship and i could be wrong but going to brother miller and say brother miller and talking about god and and that's a good thing to do but it wouldn't be considered worship i i think worship is something that needs to be directly offered to god it needs to be said from one person to god himself that is biblical worship and the bible says that the angels spoke one to another this is the idea i get in my mind is that these angels that spend eternity in the presence of god they spent eternity in the glory of god man they've spent thousands of years in millennia in the presence of god but yet they're still surprised at how holy he actually is they're still marveled at the holiness of god they never became accustomed to his presence they never became laxadaisical in his presence they never walked into church with their head hung low they never sat in service and texted on their cell phone but they always stayed in awe of the presence of god and i'm telling you church i i you can live for god for 50 60 years and pray every day and reach the third heavens every day and you still will not reach the depths that is the glory of god you'll never reach the depths that is the presence of god i want more of god today than i've ever wanted him in my life and they cried holy holy holy one to another and and my mind began to think why this particular attribute why did they call out this particular attribute about god why i would think in the time of social unrest you would speak about his his power right i i would think in the time of social unrest you would talk about his sovereignty his miracle working power his power to to be all-knowing and all-powerful but they chose the attribute of holiness and so often in church holiness has become a sideshow of the church it's just a matter of length of skirts and don't watch this and don't do that but let me tell you holiness is a lot more than what you do on the outside i believe holiness is a reflection outward holiness is a reflection of what's going on in the inside and this idea of holiness the hebrew word is kadosh it literally means to be separate it means to be far apart and what the angels are saying in this passage is that it's going it's going crazy down here on earth everything is exploding but god is so far removed from the problems that man faces i'm telling you there is nothing that goes on in this world that ever surprises god there's nothing no problem that you could ever go through brother lopez has said it behind this pulpit many times but to your storm god brings a pillow baby i'm telling you i was reading it the other day the storm was going it was blowing and going everything was crazy the disciples feared for their life and they ran to jesus to wake him up and he was sleeping on a pillow and when they woke him up you know what jesus said he said what i'm gonna paraphrase he goes what in the world is wrong with y'all where is your faith do you not realize that i am the one that broke the multitudes of bread don't you know i'm the one that raises the dead don't you know i'm the one that causes blind eyes to see again why are you fretting you have me in the boat and i think god gets grieved sometimes i've been doing a study in in the gospels and and god was very patient with certain dysfunctions that his disciples had but events he was patient with him and he would work with them sometimes they were confused sometimes they had a little pride and god would slowly work through him and you would give him a lot of grace there was one thing god did not have patience with with that the disciples struggled with and that was fear every time the disciples feared god would come through and he would jesus and god and flesh would give them a strong rebuke do you know the most often commit com pardon me completed command in the bible repeated command in the bible is to fear not you know that command in all of its various forms do not be afraid do not fear fear not is repeated 365 times in the bible that is one time for every day of the year and i've learned something about god is that when you are afraid you are taking something that should be placed in god and you're placing it somewhere else do you know what a a rule definition of fear is fear is faith in your problem fear is faith that the disastrous is going to take place fear is faith that your enemies are going to prevail over you and when you are afraid you're taking faith that should belong in the presence of god it should belong in the name of jesus and you're placing it on your enemies and i believe that's why the lord took fear so seriously amen let's go and read verse four it said in the post of the door moved at the voice of him that cried and the house was filled with smoke verse five then said i woe is me for i am undone because i am a man of unclean lips and i dwell in the midst of a people of an unclean lips for my eyes have seen the king the lord of hosts you see um it was this i it was this common old testament idea that if someone were to come face to face with the presence of god they would die if someone would come in contact with the presence of god it would cause them to die and they had this idea from moses so isaiah is in the presence of god and he sees him and he and he fears for his life how backwards does that sound to us in the old testament they ran from the presence of god in the old testament the presence of god was something that needed to be feared but in the new testament hallelujah when jesus died on that cross the veil bible says rent in twain and now you and i the book of hebrews says have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of jesus amen anybody thankful for that blood tonight i'm so thankful the bible says that blood it cleanses us from an evil conscience from bad thoughts from thoughts of condemnation from thoughts that remind you of your past hallelujah you remember some of you toss and turn at night you cringe at night thinking of what you used to be it's that evil conscience some of you it's still wicked imaginations sometimes you say well if i was still in the world i'd do this that or the other and i'm thankful that the blood washes over that mind it washes over my mind so when i go into the presence of god i can go as the bible says with full assurance of faith i don't have to be like isaiah i don't have to tremble at the presence of god i don't have to tremble at god coming in my living room i don't have to tremble and be afraid when god comes to an altar but when jesus comes on in i know by the blood i have been made worthy to enter into that presence hallelujah anybody anybody thankful for the presence of god i'm thankful for the presence of god i don't know where i'd be without the presence of god hallelujah amen amen i feel it i feel the holy ghost amen so isaiah's in this i in this place and and he says i i'm a man of unclean lips and i dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips for my eyes have seen the king and let's see what transpires after this and it said then flew one of the seraphim unto me having a live coal in his hand which he had taken from the tongs of the altar this is the altar of the uh the brazen altar this was the altar that was dedicated uh to sacrificing for sin and it is no accident that the angel takes the coal from this altar i'm telling you cannot get in the presence of god if you do not have a place an altar in your life to take care of sin jesus died on that altar jesus died on that cross so we didn't have to be the sacrifice but it doesn't mean that i don't need to approach that altar jesus said i need to take up my cross and follow him daily the apostle paul said that we are living sacrifices holy and acceptable unto god and so first before you can enter the presence of god you need to find a place of pure purifying and repentance you need to find a place to clean your life out things that are getting in the way of the presence of god god i want you to notice something god does not deny his declaration about him being a man of unclean lips i we have no record of isaiah ever say anything unclean but god doesn't deny it god doesn't go oh it's all right isaiah don't matter what doesn't matter how you're living it don't matter what you're doing just come on in let's kick back let's say let's have a soda and let's let's watch the game you know but god god says okay i i hear your declaration but i'm gonna take care of it and he got a coal off of that altar and he purified his lips amen praise god and one thing i noticed if you read keep on reading verse 7 it says and he laid it upon my mouth and said lo this had touched my lips and thine iniquity is taken away and thy sin is purged it was one encounter with the presence of god that changed isaiah's life forever it was one encounter with the glory of god and as i was listening to pastor haney's message today and what he was saying he was talking about so many of us that are overridden with fear so many of us that are overridden with anxiety we watch the news we watch fox news and cnn and we watch all the political commentators and we get so worked up on what's going on in the world and i could see isaiah in the same position he's worked up but one encounter with the presence of god one encounter in the glory of god changed his life forever it changed his perspective and i need the glory of god i need the presence of god in my life i can't do this thing on my own in the 73rd psalm asaph writes a psalm and i encourage you to go after this message and read through it it's a beautiful passage and what he's doing is sometimes i've learned reading through the psalms it wasn't always rejoicing and it wasn't always kumbaya and it wasn't always glory glory glory sometimes they got a little bit upset and sometimes they were letting god know how upset they were and they and asaph was just telling god he was saying to the effect of god i'd see the wicked and they should be coming to destruction but they're not and i'm frustrated because they keep they keep becoming successful it's frustrating because i see them lie steal cheat and plunder and you think like the sheriff would come in or the police would come in they'd ultimately get caught but things just keep getting worse they keep getting richer man and then they keep he keeps going and he says they even curse you lord they openly curse you they openly talk against your name they openly say bad things they blaspheme your name and it gets me frustrated that you don't do anything about it anybody feel that way am i the only person that feels that way sometimes i could watch what's going on in the news and i could be a news junkie if i don't watch myself and i get frustrated watching at certain politicians openly curse and denounce jesus christ and make a ridicule of him and i get frustrated god why don't you judge that person god why don't you do something about that and i and i understand where asap is coming from but but then he goes a little bit deeper and he starts to get into a pity party and he says god i have cleansed my hands in vain he said lord all this serving for you hadn't amount to nothing all this living for you it's none ain't done nothing for my life god i took the righteous route and i'm still poor anybody know what i'm talking about i took the holy route god i didn't take that job that i had to work on sundays now i'm still poor lord i'm still living in my mama's house i'm 58 years old hallelujah how many of you how many single people no i didn't date that person god told me not to date i didn't i didn't get in that relationship because they weren't living right i obeyed you lord and i'm still single i'm single five ten years later and you can get frustrated you can get frustrated that this life doesn't bear fruit always when we wanted to bear fruit that our prayers aren't answered right away and i can get that way in my flesh even thinking about spiritual things i get frustrated why revival doesn't break out when we want it to break out but then asap had a revelation that we all need to get a hold of if they can throw it up on the screen in the next few minutes psalm 73 verse 16. he said when i thought to know this it was too painful for me he said i tried to realize all this i tried to think about it it just hurt my head i'm telling you i've never struggled with anxiety in my entire life i'm just not a person i've always been a person that's had faith in god god's given me the gift of faith i always believed god but lately in the last month or two it's been the first time in my life i've ever had to confront anxiety it wasn't just a major issue but i was getting to the place where i was shaken i couldn't focus on my work i couldn't think because of all the fear and turmoil that's being propagated and i know if i'm someone that that regularly operates in faith that there are some people you are overridden and overdriven with fear and anxiety and asaph said when i thought to know this i tried to understand this but it was too painful for me and verse 17 hallelujah it says until i went into the sanctuary of god then i understood their and hallelujah he said none of this made sense in my flesh none of this made sense in my carnal thinking none of this made sense when i was running it through the processes of my mind but i got in the presence of god i got in the glory of god and something about the presence of god it set my mind right it says i hath not seen nor ear heard neither have it entered into the heart of man the things which the lord has prepared for them that love him you can't see it with your eye you couldn't hear it with your ear you couldn't think it with your mind but the bible says the spirit searches all things yea the deep things of god and he has revealed them by his spirit some of you if you're struggling with anxiety you've got to hit the prayer room honey you've got to hit the prayer room like you've never hit it before and i'm not talking about a lay me down to sleep prayer i'm talking about a prayer that causes you to shake and tremble under the power of god if you don't know what that feels like come find me we'll pray you through but i have a feeling that most of our saints watching tonight you know what it feels like for the power of god to come over you so much that you cannot control the appendages of your body your physical body begins to react to the presence of god and i'm so thankful i love talking to the lord i talk to the lord all throughout my day when i'm driving in my car when i'm eating breakfast i'm talking to the lord i try to pray without ceasing but i know i've got to have more than a cup of coffee with jesus i've got to enter into the presence of god i've got to enter into the glory because when i get into the glory it's going to realign all the misplaced thoughts in my spirit and there are some things misplaced it's like a puzzle man and you're trying to fit the corner piece in the middle and you're trying to fit a piece over here and it don't even fit over there and you've got to get in the presence of god you've got to get in the word of god i had to turn off the news everything i'm finding out i'm finding out someone told me i haven't read it i'm hearing about more shutdowns i didn't read it someone told me i'm hearing about all this stuff going on with the with the election and i didn't read it somebody told me because i can't let my spirit get so out of line pastor haney said when you when you watch the news you're only finding out things after the fact and it might not even be true sometimes they come out three or four times and they have to make a correction and you got so stressed out the first time and yet they had to correct it three or four times and everything you were stressed out about wasn't even true in the first place but when you get in prayer and you get your you get your ear to the pulse of god you might not be a great prophet like pastor haney and you might not get these great discourses about what the lord is going to do you might not get a word for word dialogue about what's coming in the next situation but you can get a feeling of faith in your spirit i know it's dark out there i know it's bleak out in the world but it is light inside the church wherever you at in your homes did you lift your hands right now huh amen i'm going to say something you're probably so sick of hearing you're probably going to want to mute me because you've heard it so many times but this is not a carnal battle that we're fighting this is a spiritual battle this is not a battle you fight with instagram it's not a battle you fight with twitter it's not a battle you fight with arguing on the job it's a spiritual battle there's something going on underneath the surface it's that spirit of antichrist that's trying to rise up something i've learned i talked to brother sanders a great friend of this ministry the other day and he told me that there's something you have to know about the devil he the bible says that no man knoweth the day of the hour neither the angels know when the lord's going to come back we don't know all those people august 23rd whatever 1852 i don't know it ain't going to happen no man knows the day of the bible says the angels in heaven don't even know so i can guarantee you that lucifer doesn't know the devil doesn't know when the lord's going to come back he doesn't know when the rapture is going to take place even paul said the spirit of antichrist or john said the spirit of antichrist is working in the world even today that satan was trying to raise the antichrist up even in the day of john and he's still trying to do the same thing pastor talked about it trying to raise up hitler he's still trying to raise up vessels but he doesn't know when it's going to happen he doesn't know and so he's making his best attempt and sometimes we can sit back as the church and say well it's time for everything to explode it's time for everything to mess up the bible says in second thessalonians chapter 2 verse 6 and 8 speaking of the antichrist it says i'll give you a chance to turn there second thessalonians 2 verse 6. i want you to read it and it says and now ye know that withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time let's talk about the antichrist go and later go and read the passage of it's a wonderful prophetic passage for the mystery of iniquity doth already work basically what we just said only he who now letteth that word let literally means restraints so let's rephrase it only he who now restrains will restrain until he be taken out of the way and then shall that wicked one be revealed and so what's very important to note that yes the spirit of antichrist the spirit of lawlessness the spirit of iniquity is working in our world today it's very important to know that it's been working since since even jesus ascended the devil got right on it but one thing to know is that while the church is still here the spirit of antichrist cannot explode in this world while the church is here i know biblically i do we just know that the united states it probably i'm going to be here for eternity huh but i've got faith for revival in the united states as long as the church is here amen and that spirit of iniquity yeah that spirit of antichrist it's working but one thing that's holding him back it's the prayers of the church it's the prayers of the people of god the bible says in john 1 it says the light shineth in the darkness jesus was that light it shineth in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not it says we're children of the light we've got the light inside of us one thing i've learned about light and darkness is that light can always get brighter i don't know if there's a maybe someone smarter than myself can tell me i don't think there's a cap out on how bright bright can get i think maybe there's the brightest thing we've ever experienced the sun or whatever it might be but but brightness always has a level to grow but you know darkness is only predicated on one thing and that's how much light is in the room darkness gets its power from the absence of light so the darkness will be predicated its strength will be predicated on how much authority the light wants to take you and i children of the light we have the holy ghost inside of us jesus looked at us and said you through his disciples and said you are the light of the world shine your light before man the bible says in proverbs the wicketh no it's not where they stumble they're pat it's like darkness but the path of the justice as a shining light shining brighter and brighter until that perfect day i don't know who said that the church has got to dwindle and dwindle until the rapture come on somebody i think it's just quiet because there's nobody here amen i don't think there's any biblical precedent that says the church has got to get more quiet and it's got to be less powerful than the book of acts and it's got to have less miracles and it's got to have less prayers my bible tells me that the path of the just shines brighter and brighter until that perfect day and i believe god's calling people to pray like have never prayed before i believe it i see these bible college students they pray like i've never seen bible call the students pray before they fast i see freshmen going on 14 21 day fast god is put not seniors but freshmen god's pushing them i see it in the church i see people raising up in the church to pray they have the spirit of the elders on them something came on them something's got a hold of them and they're pushing and saying i don't just need to maintain my brightness i don't just need to keep an equal level of brightness but i've got to get brighter i've got to have the holy ghost shine through me in a way that dark men would see and they would get revelation from hot this is a spiritual battle church you can't fight it in the flesh paul told the philippians he said do all things without murmuring and disputing take that one passage to heart that that eliminates about 75 of our instagram posts he says do all things without complaining and arguing murmuring and disputing and we live in a society that has more faith and protests than we do in prayer we've got more faced faith and glorified complaining and and glorified arguing than we do in prayer and i know i know this might be controversial for some of you and i know the the right to protest is an american right it is an established american right but it's not necessarily a biblical right the bible says our battle is not in complaining our battle is not with picket signs uh our battle is getting if there's an injustice in the world we should take it seriously hear me now if there's a divide in the world and there's a people that are being marginalized we as the church need to get to prayer we need to get before the throne of god hallelujah it's a spiritual battle the apostle peter talks about people in the last days hear me now there's going to be a type of apostasy that raises up in the last days in second peter chapter 2 verses 10 and 11 and he describes them as such he says but chiefly them that walk after the flesh and the lust of uncleanness hear this and despise governments this was a sign of the apostasy that they would despise governments they're presumptuous meaning they think they know it all they're self-willed they want everything to be about them listen to this now and they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries verse 11 says whereas angels which are greater in power and might bring not railing accusate accusation against them before the lord even the angels in heaven have an understanding that earthly kingdoms have been set up by the lord even the angels in heaven realize that it doesn't matter how bad a leader is that god is fulfilling his ultimate will through that wicked leader and i know you might not like some of the politicians i know you might not like what they do and some of the things they do i couldn't disagree with them with it more but it does me no good to complain about them it doesn't mean no good to just gripe all the time because i'm telling you right now if we're griping we're definitely not praying it is impossible to have a complaining spirit and a spirit of faith at the same time it's impossible to be complaining and then all of a sudden utter a word of faith i don't want a complaining word to come out of my mouth but i want the words to be god save them god would you turn their heart away from wickedness god would just save their hearts god would just send them a preacher i don't care how much you don't like gavin newsom we need to not get in this battle this carnal battle of arguing and disputing and bashing we need to get on our knees and say god save our governor god sent me a preacher send someone that knows the truth to him i'm just believing god can save governor newsom i've been praying for it god convicted me a few months back not to complain about him but to pray because i could not complain and pray at the same time hallelujah you see god revealed something to me a few years ago i was with my daughter and we were going to we're going to our school it was cold in the morning and we just had a complaining spirit on us man it was cold and and we were complaining about it being cold and and uh we were just saying it and and i just felt the lord convict me and he was saying when you complain all you're doing is you're just praising your problem complaining is just you glorifying how great your problem is when we talk about god and we praise him what do we say we say oh god i magnify you god i glorify you god you're so great god there's nobody like you god there's nobody that's ever been like you there's nobody that knows all that you know you've never failed and you begin to talk about the goodness of god but when you could get a complaint and start saying man california is bad man california is going to the dogs man it's a it's an armpit man it's it's going terrible all you're doing is exalting your problem i'd rather talk about the greatness of my god and what he's going to do in the midst of a wicked state hallelujah and i think about jesus one of the most famous passages in the entire bible john chapter 11 jesus is going to heal his friend lazarus who died and they come to jesus and say you need to come and heal lazarus and jesus kind of just takes his sweet time and he kind of just doesn't have a an urgency about him and he is just walking about and they come to him and said jesus if you don't come lazarus is going to die you've got to do this right now you've got to do it right now if you don't do it right now you don't give us our president right now you're never going to be able to to win everything is going to be done and it's going to be over they had this framework of how god had to move they had this idea god you have to move this way or it's not going to be a success but jesus said no i'm not going to do it your way i'm going to do it my way and lazarus was dead for four days four days mortification is sunk in he's starting to stink i mean he's literally i've never dealt with dead bodies but i mean i'm sure they stink real bad after four days and things are looking terrible and martha runs out and said lord if you would have been here my brother would have lived he said but nevertheless lord i know what your word anything could be done and jesus said i'm going to come and heal him he's going to live again and jesus is walking with faith he knows what's going to happen he's he's moving he's going lazar's about to get raised from the dead he's crap i don't know what he's doing he's cracking his neck he's doing some yoga stretches i don't know what he's doing but he's getting ready to perform a miracle he's getting ready to do something good and then mary comes to him and she comes with a different tone she goes oh lord my brother died and you weren't there oh woe is me you didn't answer my prayer lord and she's complaining and jesus spirit begins to change a little bit the bible says jesus began to groan in himself and then when he saw their groanings the bible says probably one of the most famous passages it's the first scripture you memorize as a kid the bible says jesus wept now if you look at that passage closely so i've heard some people say oh he loved lazarus and even though he knew he was going to raise him from the dead and and the jews they even said look this man loveth him great but that's not why jesus wept jesus didn't weep because he was sad about lazarus death jesus wept because of the unbelief of the people jesus said i've been with them so long man i have tarried with them they've seen the miracles they felt the presence of god they've seen me do it they've seen me feed the five thousand these disciples have seen me walk on water man they've seen me do everything and they still don't believe i can do it it's like i gotta prove myself to them every time i wish they would just believe it the first time and he's frustrated and he's groaning and he's weeping at their disbelief because he thought they would believe in him by now and we come into a situation in our world and jesus is just asking his church do you believe in me still hot oh right where you're at would you lift your hands hallelujah i feel a spirit of anxiety is lifting off of somebody right now it might not even be about all this this this pandemic and all these elections uh but something in your life hallelujah maybe it's a sickness maybe it's a marriage problem and you feel that do you believe god can do it even when lazarus is starting to stink do you believe god can do it when his flesh is starting to deteriorate do you need god to do it on your timing or can you wait and say blessed be the name of the lord you giveth and you taketh away whenever you want to do it i'm ready jesus or god went to ezekiel and he had these he had dry bones lived i mean there's no flesh on a dry bone it's not even stinking anymore son of man can these dry bones live i don't care how dark the situation is god could still bring out a miracle in that situation you hear me now i don't care how dark it is i don't care how bleak it looks but god can bring a miracle in that situation man i wish i had an amen corner right now because i feel it in the holy ghost and i know that god is going to make himself real to his church even thomas we know him as doubting thomas jesus said i'm going to go heal him and uh lazarus the tomb was in bethany it was about two miles the scripture teaches us about two miles away from jerusalem and he went out and he said i'm gonna go i'm gonna go in and heal him at bethany and and thomas knew that i mean it was hot right now like there's a lot going on the the jews were looking to kill him they were straight up wanting to kill him the disciples knew it jerusalem it was the hub of all these super religious jews that wanted to kill him so doubting thomas said you read it later in john chapter 11 he says just let us go therefore and die with him what's he saying he's saying well jesus is committing suicide right now jesus ain't thinking jesus ain't got no common sense he's just going to go and get himself killed well i guess we're just going to go get killed too and the lord gave me a phrase he said this is what i call prophetic doubt prophetic doubt is you've got the situation right you've got the event right but you've got the outcome wrong hallelujah you see that things are going to get bad in the united states you see that things are going to get dark you see that there's going to be some more restrictions on the church and you in the spirit can feel that but you're missing the outcome that's not going to be the detriment of the church that's not going to be the detriment of revival you see the event but when jesus died on the cross that was the greatest victory humanity has ever received that was the greatest victory that's ever happened in human history what looked dark their leader died their leader was crucified but it was the greatest victory in human history and likewise you might look outside and see how dark it is with the social unrest afraid to walk on the streets of stockton but it doesn't mean that's the detriment of christian life center it just means we're sinned at the bound grace does much more abound every time persecution took place that's when the church exploded you see jesus told the church when right before he left in acts one and eight he said you're gonna receive power after that the holy ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me in jerusalem and judea and samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth two years later acts chapter eight the gospel never left jerusalem he tells them acts one two years goes by one and a half depends on who you're reading and the gospel is still in one location jesus said hey this gospel is for sumerian judea it is for the whole world it's not just for jerusalem it's not just for 9025 west lane or christian life way it's for this whole city and god raises up a man by the name of saul and saul begins to persecute the church day and night raging against the church he he kills one of their leaders stephen he's kicking doors he's dragging women by the head he's dragging babies out he's stoning men in the streets throwing them in prison and the church in jerusalem they get so shook up i'm sure some of them thought oh this is the end of the church this is the end of the people of god this is the end of the one god apostolic people but the bible says there's a man named philip that he went to a place in samaria and he had great revival in samaria and the whole city was won over and what looked bleak and what looked dark was one of the greatest days in the book of acts i don't care how dark it looks god could still bring revival and if you watch our pastor's message he'll tell you god could let this thing get over he could have let he could let one person get the election and and or the pandemic could have ended or whatever the earth situation but the church would have stopped praying the church would have got comfortable and god's saying i'm trying to push you out of your comfort zone church how far does god have to push us how far does god have to push us peter says be sober and vigilant for your adversary the devil walketh about is a roaring lion seeking whom he made of our we focus a lot on the roaring lion and the seeking and the devour but don't ever forget be sober what is sobriety it's the opposite of drunkenness what's drunkenness it's it's losing your sense of awareness it's losing your sense of consciousness you're stammering and staggering about you're not aware of what's going on around you you're just kind of ignorant you're in a bliss you're in a joyful bliss right i've never been drunk a day in my life praise god but i've heard there's some you see drunks they're happy they're they're slopping around they're singing they're just not aware of the reality of the situation they get in a car and they drive and they kill a family i guarantee you there's nobody in this church that can't raise their hands and say somebody they know been killed by a drunk driver i guarantee you everybody in this building so what seemed happy for a moment end up becoming the death of somebody else and and peter says be sober be aware of what's going on understand the signs of the times understand what's going on brother lopez talked about it understand when it gets dark understand what's pain what's being propagated on your children and on your family be sober be aware pray for a spiritual awareness even tonight god what's going on in my home why do i feel so much distressed in my spirit why do i feel so much weariness in my spirit why do i not feel like praying anymore why do i feel like walking away from you god reveal it to me help me to be sober i want to be involved with what you're doing i just feel the presence of god right now i feel like god is doing something in the home so i feel like some people are just interceding right now wherever you're at in your home could you lift both hands to heaven if you've got children if you've got children with anxiety why don't you lay hands on your children the bible says god is not the author of confusion so if you're always living in a haze and you're always living confused it's not the will of god for your life i'm not saying god's always going to give you the answer i'm not saying god's going to give you an outline of what's going to take place but if you're always sitting there with this this dire confusion this dire worry be anxious for nothing but in everything prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to god hallelujah this is what i'm going through but it says with thanksgiving god i know you're a good god i know you got it under control even when it's dark outside even when i don't see the light with my own eyes yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil why i won't fear any evil for any other reason but thou art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me thou prepare us to table before me in the presence of mine enemies even when my enemies are breathing down my neck even when the people that want to destroy me are looking at me dead in the eye god said let me make you a turkey dinner they're going to sit and watch me bless you they're going to sit and watch me give you to give you promote you in the spirit they're going to sit and watch me bring your children back they're going to sit and watch me come through and you're going to have joy and speakable and they're going to sit there and they're going to have no idea what's going on they'll prepare us a table before me in the presence of mine enemies thou anointest my head with oil hallelujah hotel you know what that anointing was originally for we talk about the anointing the original as far as we can go back the anointing uh shepherds would take it and they would put it on the heads of their sheep because this oil would create a barrier that ticks and bugs anointing oil of the holy ghost they're covered by the blood of jesus that sprinkles us from an evil conscience thou anoint this my head with oil my cup runneth over i said it a few weeks ago but i'm so glad when god filled me with the holy ghost he didn't just give me the bare minimum to get by i'm so glad when jesus gave me the holy ghost he gave me running over and my cup runs over i'm telling you there's an aspect of god that is more than just getting day to day you hear me backslide it right now there's a part of god that's so much more than just a day-to-day refreshing jesus said the thief cometh not before to steal and to kill and destroy he said i am come my purpose and coming my mission in coming is that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly he didn't say they're going to live a life and i'm sorry i don't know in this next season if your 401k is going to flourish i don't know i don't know if your property and your your assets are all going to thrive and the stock market's going to stay stable and and i don't know if you're going to be able to keep that nice car and and all those luxuries i don't know about all that the bible says don't lay up yourselves treasures on earth god were to take it from you what would be left if god were to take it from you what would be left but i can tell you one thing even in the darkest of seasons uh jesus is still on the throne i could tell you in that in the most time of unsurety jesus is still orchestrating the pieces he's still he's still in control what's going on and that's why i go to him i don't go to fox news i don't go to ben shapiro i don't go to any of these people i go to the word of god the word of god is a lamp unto my feet and it's a light unto my path i will hide thy word in my heart that i might what does that mean hide some people say i can't memorize all that scripture i can't put all that stuff in my mind i just don't have a good memory but the bible says that he will bring through the holy ghost all things into your remembrance when you read the word of god and when you listen to preaching there is something that goes into a spiritual repository in the back of your brain it's a subconscious mind you might not be someone that can quote genesis 1 1 all the way to the end of revelation but when you need it and you're in the midst of a trial you're going to hear the words my god shall supply all of my needs according to his riches and glory in christ jesus when your children are not living for god you could say as for me and my house we will serve the lord i'm going to hide it in my heart so when jesus needs to bring it back up for me to fight the battle i'm going to be able to fight with the sword of the spirit which is the word of god hallelujah thank you jesus thank you jesus the musicians can come i'm done i feel the anointing right now all over this church i know we're not in body but i feel us in spirit the bible says we are fitly joined together by the spirit of god not by not by this christian life way facility it's a beautiful facility i love it i love this facility so god so glad god has blessed us with it but it said we are fitly joined together by his spirit and i'm telling you god is shaking our church it's going on in the world right now there's a shifting in political climate there's a shifting in what we have considered security and safety oh but there's not a shifting in the kingdom of god there's not a shifting jesus christ being that court that chief cornerstone the gates of hell they shall not prevail against the church oh paul paul told timothy i said you need to pray for those who are in authority pray for your leaders pray for them and he says this that you might live a quiet and peaceable life who's he talking about he's talking about emperor nero you know anything about history emperor nero was one of the sickest twisted dudes killed more jews and christians the guy was literally i think he lived today to be clinically insane he was crazy uh pastor handy could tell you all the history of him but i just know enough that he was crazy and paul said i'm not going to complain about him i'm not going to get in this fleshly debate i'm not again i'm not gonna i'm not engaging in this fleshly argument hallelujah but i'm telling you hit your knees in prayer and you pray for that crazy leader you pray for that wacko leader and you ask god to bless him you ask god to lead him you ask god to anoint him that the church can thrive i don't need political advantage i don't need a republican this a republican that i just need the church to have freedom to do what god has called us to do every hand lifted in our homes right now even if you're in this building in unity right now just a few people that are here lift your hands right now hika bahasa god's calling our backsliders right back he's calling him back right now brother lopez talked about it it's in the spirit god's calling our prodigals home and some you're looking at a prodigal daughter or a prodigal son and you're saying they're like lazarus they're dead they're stinking there's no resurrecting them but you need to get a martha spirit on you and say god i thought you were gonna do it this way i expected it to happen this way but at your word i believe anything could happen if you speak life into my protocol then life must come back into my oh there's such a thick presence of god hallelujah my final call we're just going to pray we're going to go to a time of prayer in our homes but my final call if you've never received this salvation message hallelujah jesus came she said i came to set at liberty them that were captive hallelujah i came to preach the recovery of sight to the blind to them that were bruised jesus came for people that were emotionally wounded physically wounded spiritually wounded and you're listening to me right now and you feel physical wounds spiritual wounds you feel so anxious that's why you tuned in tonight because of all what's going on i'm here to offer a word of hope to you i'm speaking to you right now that there's hope in jesus christ he went to that cross so you and i could enter in the presence of god he went to that cross so we didn't have to be like isaiah trembling and shaking every time we encountered god we come to god say lord i need you today full assurance we have boldness
