(calm music) - Hi, I'm Joni. You know, when it comes to working out His plan in our lives, God delights in using so many twists and turns. For instance, I mean, just listen. After 70 years in exile, okay, the Israelites finally received permission from the King of Persia to rebuild the temple, okay? But rebuilding it turned out to be harder than they thought because after they started, their enemies showed up. The bad guys even wrote a letter to the Persian king asking him to stop God's people from building the temple. Yet, just when it looked like the enemy had won, God showed the Israelites that He was greater, far greater than their enemies, because through a strange turn of events, the Lord arranged for Israel's enemies to go ahead and pay for the rebuilding! So friend, if you feel God's provided an opportunity and it has not come through, do not lose heart in Him. Remember when it comes to His plan, He loves designing all sorts of twists and turns. He specializes in arranging strange turns of events. So don't worry. He will come through with an ending that may well surprise even you.
