[Music] yeah baby what's up YouTube this is Dalton here with Myers tactical back at it today after a short sabbatical if you will we got our SSAT in so this is a polymer lower made by SSAT and it accepts Glock 43 parts this thing is small I don't know if I'll enjoy shooting it that much but we're gonna build it anyway because where's it at there it is my friends at urban survival arms sent me this oh yeah that's a Glock 43 slide so thanks to them for sending that slide to us we appreciate it they did the coating and so thank you guys we're gonna have to put all the pieces in as you can see but that video will be coming up and we're also going to be putting in in s3f solutions fluted black nitrate threaded barrel so pretty nice barrel I would be a good carry gun and it'll shoot well these barrels are pretty nice so we'll get this together and throughout several videos but the one thing I wanted to touch on today was the actual cutting of the lower these four tabs two here and two here those are basically what I have to come out and then you got to drill this hole and this hole obviously on this side also but it doesn't take that much time so I figured I'd shoot a quick video and show everybody how to do it I know YouTube's not big on this but I've seen several videos out there like it so we'll go ahead and get started oh we're gonna use a dremel tool you can use all kinds of stuff we talked about this and another video you can use all kinds of stuff to cut it out but we're gonna use this simply because you can control it see that takes more material less Tyrael kind of keep control of it but make sure you have your safety glasses I have some tinted safety glasses right there see though let's get started on this here so remember go slow I have a 1 1 speed drum was just on and off so you just got to be a little extra careful and sorry if I bump the camera here I'm literally working around a tripod and a my light tripod so make sure that something in view there yeah you can see I'm pretty good alright we're gonna cut these out real quick now if you'll notice I didn't go too far or I didn't go too deep on these I'll take them out of the jig to finish them up so I know exactly where I'm going what depth I need to go to the frame but as you can see this thing is locked up with some little plastic nuts and bolts to keep it steady so while it's in here I'm going to drill it out and it comes with these drill bits here this is the 3 millimeter that's a 4 millimeter and they're designated right there 3 millimeter 4 millimeter right so it's pretty simple right the 3 millimeter fits in both 4 millimeter only fits in one so that should also help you out there so I'm gonna let me get these level as possible we'll go with the 3 millimeter first now if you have a bigger dremel tool you can help also use a dremel tool to drill these but by dremel tool [Music] there we go now the holes are cut through the holes right there those are cut okay you gotta take that out to you that little u-shaped thing right there you gotta take that out also but I'm gonna get this back here and now I'm gonna so you see what I was talking about where you have the frame right there like you don't want to go too deep on these you just take these little black piece up because these back pieces stay as you saw in the from the jig there so we'll take these out and see how clean they are and we'll go from there all right here is our finished product doesn't look too terrible you probably got a sander or some sandpaper and stuff on these and and really get them down or get them all cleaned up the way you want them but I like that I think it looks pretty good so next we're gonna do the lower parts kit and let's put together this slide stay with us alright now that we talked about some of the differences in the parts between this SSAT or Glock 43 now let's just start putting them together so first thing you want to do this little spring here that goes in here this is for your slide lock there we go okay remember it goes in this way okay so the little little tab is on top so you work that in there over the spring and just slides in there like so okay functions properly all right now we're gonna put the the back rails in and those just slide in okay then we're going to put the trigger kit in there we go snap right in okay now we're not gonna put our locking block in yet this piece here we're gonna put that in yet we're gonna put all these other pieces in before we put that in that will be pain there we go all right so I got my slide stop lever in I got my trigger kit in I have my slide lock in now we're gonna put the this the locking block or slide rails in you just force those in there and that gives us a pretty a pretty good picture of where that pins got to go and the thing will give you the most trouble and this is definitely that trigger so you want to watch the trigger my pins are over here so go the trigger pin first and put it in back this way so one can see what we're doing here now I'm gonna use a hammer for this one I just lightly tap it kind of give you a give everything a good look in there Oh see we had to move that that slide there slide stop there it was again the old I'm not to put my thumb on that there there we go see it's in there we'll use our three thirty-seconds punch to get it down there there we go even on both sides okay that functions well locks back so let's get our back pan in now this back pin is actually metal it's not plastic like the other ones believe it or not I was pushing this down by the way I had to push this whole back assembly down just a little bit to line everything up through 30 seconds punch happening what needs to go too far I always do that I always punches in a little too far there we go there even okay and that's it guys that's putting together the frame so next we're gonna put together the slide all right guys we got the lower completed okay now it's time to get the upper done or the slide so a couple things real quick first off the firing pin safety is completely different than the other Glock builds that we've done already so this firing pin state you know the old one looks like just a round mushroom right this one's got slits and cuts in it or whatever well this flat side right here without the dimple taken out or the this piece right here see how there's a gouge right there this piece goes in the slide and it faces the same way that the extractor is okay so I'll show you what I'm talking about so it'll go in here like so okay with the flat part towards the extractor fits in just like that now we will go ahead with the extractor depressor plunger right remember that goes in that little hole beside the beside the firing pin sleeve there okay there's that goes in right there okay and there's no sleeve in this one remember the last time we talked about a sleeve must be a sleeve in there they call that a channel liner the 43 doesn't have a channel liner it just has the firing pin assembly with this spacer sleeve on the top of it so you don't have to worry about putting a channel liner in there and this firing pin assembly goes right in that channel just like the other ones okay now you take your punch a punch is somewhere there it is and remember the backside of the punch will help you start this back plate he'll depress that and you'll start your back plate like that and then you'll take your 3/32 punch on the other side you'll depress your the pressure extractor depressor plunger pull your PIN up and there you go guys it's that easy now we'll do the barrel for the barrel we're gonna run an s3f fluted threaded barrel for this Glock 43 build pretty nice barrel now these ones are kind of finicky you want to nice and easy just don't force anything okay goes in just like that alright now you got your recoil spring assembly that you'll put there and remember it goes on the second lip of the barrel right it doesn't go on the first lip goes on the second lip okay right there now one thing I like to add to all my threaded barrels guys is a little rubber o-ring okay this little rubber o-ring when you put your thread protector on it doesn't allow it to come off sometimes when you shoot these the the thread protector will want to work itself off but if you put that little rubber o-ring on there and you've tightened down your thread protector tighten it right down to it it puts back pressure on the thread protector so that when you shoot it doesn't come out so there's a complete slide right there okay that looks pretty good now we'll put it on the frame and see how it looks I had to get an extended mag there coz my hands really don't fit it anyway but the one nice thing about it is it's got an extended beaver tail back there to keep your hand out of the way so hopefully I don't get too far up on that thing and see I got a bite right there but guys that's it that is our Glock 43 or SS 80 build hope this video helped you out go ahead and like and subscribe to our channel and guys leave your comments in the section below I'd like to hear about your builds thanks for watching
