redditors who experienced a glitch in the matrix what happened i have a nice story for this when i was very little i had this pink cat plush i called pink kitty i had a cute little dress for her and everything and i loved her a lot one day i was walking with my mom in a parking lot and i dropped her on the ground a car was coming so i had to move fast but i looked down and for some reason she wasn't there the car wasn't low enough to have snatched up her dress and carried her with it she just vanished it felt like a surreal dream but my mom remembered it happening too i cried for days in cold sleep as any toddler does after something like that one day my mom tell me that she got a call with a girl and she found her and she would keep pink kitty safe it was obviously a lie to make me feel better but i appreciated my mom trying she said to me that the girl gave me another cat plush as a gift my mom wasn't able to find the exact cat plush online so she had to give me a little warner's replacement a few days later i look under my bed and pink kitty was there without her dress on the dress was off of her and a few inches away my mom is shocked and i was ecstatic there was no way it was a replacement from online that my mom hid for me to find my mom gave me the little one for that reason pink kitty was there under my bed with the same little scratch on her glass eye and the same stain i accidentally put on her some nights she wound up in the hallway always sitting upright like she was watching something she never watched me only shadows most people would think that's creepy but i was basically immune to the fear of dolls it was crazy i loved pink kitty even more and i still have her today story one i met a girl named emily on tinder and went out on a date with her curly hair about five foot seven and was previously a nurse in the army we went on two dates and she pretty much ghosted me shortly after that like three days later i met another emily in a bar who had curly hair about five foot seven and was previously a nurse in the air force it was as if i was just programmed to be with an emily that was a military nurse dated her for about three months they even looked the same it was super weird even weirder ready for this after our three-month stint was over guess who sent me a text message apologizing for ghosting me because she had gotten back with her ex-boyfriend and didn't know how to tell me wish me well and mentioned she was moving out of state so she even sent an apology text around the same time i broke up with the second emily i met in michigan once i was at a grocery store i was buying a few pocket change items then i asked the clerk to add a pack of chewing gum or something to my purchase the total came to exactly six dollars 66 we both got chuckle over that exactly a week later we were at the same store i again had just a few items to purchase the lane i was in had a customer ahead of me that had a shopping cart full of stuff so it only made sense to go to the next register open that had one customer that had only a few items in their cart when it was my time to check out it turned out to be the clerk from a week before we both recognized each other and i called her the 666 woman and she called me the 666 man and had a good laugh over it while we were having a good laugh about it all one of my daughters laid a candy bar or whatever on the counter and asked if i would buy it for her i said sure and the clerk added it to my purchase once again it came to exactly six dollars 66 this time neither one of us was laughing after a few seconds of awkward silence i finally said nah i think it's you never went back to that store again once when i was getting out of a car with my the time friend we realized we had parked across from an identical car two people got out of the car who looked like us from a parallel universe it was enough to make us laugh at least i also remember once when i was about two or three walking down the stairs and all of a sudden hovering at about five feet and then i was at the bottom i've read that that's not uncommon for people to remember happening but it's weird to think about i had something similar to the hovering thing happened to me i was in a hotel room with my friend and decided to jump flop onto the bed i didn't jump particularly hard and in short and unathletic so the jump really couldn't have had that much power to it but next thing i knew i had somehow floated right over the double bed and ended up on my back wedged between the bed and the wall legs sticking up to avoid the radiator my friend said she blinked and i was all of a sudden on the floor no crash or bounce or anything related this story before i worked the overpass shift in a well-known big box store and my job was resetting the merchandise displays to make room for new product so when you go into your favorite store next and everything's moved around it's the fault of people doing the same job that i have i was setting the bed in a bag mod 40 feet divided into ten sections nine price tags per section since there were only nine tags tagging each section only took a few minutes pull out the old tags put the new ones in done the shift starts at 10 pm first break is at midnight at 1am the overpass manager calls for everyone to go outside and gather the remaining cards in the parking lot and put them away i go to lunch around 2 a.m i also wear a watch every day and i'm in the habit of glancing at it every 10 minutes or so so i come back from first break at about 12 15 a.m and start on my fifth section i pull the old tags tear the new ones they come in perforated sheets and put them in i glance at my watch expecting it to be 12 30 at the latest instead it's nearly 2 a.m already i had lost over an hour a day half of time i had not heard the cut call or seen any of my coworkers walk by confused and a bit dazed i head off to the break room where i ask if the cut call was done i'm assured that it had been and that no one had seen me outside i still don't know where that missing time had gone several months later it happened again on the opposite side of the store to me only a few minutes pass when over an hour has gone by in reality what's weirder is this time no one saw me whenever they walked by my work area i'm not sure what the hell happened there did he i slip into another universe or something tldr a tiny door appeared between our desks when our english class left to go to lunch my best friend and i were the only people in the class probably about 25 students plus teacher who didn't remember there being a tiny door i definitely would have noticed it before one hundred percent sure i wove it wasn't the first day of school it simply was not there when we left to go to the cafeteria we were gone for 20 to 25 minutes so there was no time to install a tiny door in the wall and even if there had been everyone else world recognized it as new too i don't remember if we did anything differently than the rest of the class did but i doubt it we usually just heard it into the cafeteria and ate then came back as our classroom was right beside the cafeteria the teacher thought we were playing a prank because we both immediately stared at the door wide-eyed and exclaimed where did that tiny door come from exclamation mark one student even joined in and pretended he didn't remember it either but later he admitted that he was just playing along he would later be voted class clown close bracket it was an old school building so i'm guessing that was what became of the original coal shoot the question is not why it existed in the first place but why it didn't exist for the two of us until we returned from our lunch break to this day two decades later she and i will still text each other with a picture whenever we see a small door we caption it where did that tiny door come from exclamation mark question mark and i suspect we'll never know i randomly saw two old ladies presumably twins looking exactly the same dress exactly the same and walking perfectly in sync center chill down my spine they were even carrying the same plastic bag in the same hand and the bag was swaying back and forth perfectly in sync another time me and my friend were walking and saw on the other side of the road a parallel universe version of me and my friend keep in mind we look very distinct me being a ration dude in a european country primarily surrounded by white people my friend was an extremely tall dude to top it off we were all wearing snapback caps backwards including the clones it was pretty funny to see and the parallel universe version of us seemed to notice us as well one full night in my rural west coast town i started to notice flashes over the ridge of a mountain towards the highway that looked alert like a transformer exploding but it was happening every few minutes with no noise at all it was odd and i phoned up hydro and they were having no issues over there it was 100 a single light source explosion but it actually slowly transformed into a lighting storm i could see the bolts as the storm moved westward but still on the other side of the mountain but the glitch was the noise no noise none i should be hearing so much thunder as the storm grew but nothing a friend was there and we were counting for the noise and nothing it got to the point that the storm was a light show in the sky as the bolts danced still and not a peep silence then suddenly it happened it sounded like hundreds of thunderclaps over top each other layered like it was edited on a computer the noise was so intense we could hear each other speak it went on for 40 seconds straight count out 40 seconds to yourself it felt like an eternity as we would round in the noise then nothing not a single lighting strike after that silence for the rest of the night it was as if the sound of every lighting strike over the past hour had been building up in storage and after release the energy was depleted storms do not act like this and i have never found out what happened my partner and i once went grocery shopping and bought ingredients for bagels and larks when we unpacked our groceries we couldn't find the capers we checked the receipt it was scanned and paid for we checked the bags again no capers we checked the trunk of my car no capers it was weird but we figured they had rolled out in the shopping cart and were gone forever oh well larks with no capers over a year later after a cross-country move we were unloading boxes from her car and there was a little jar of capers right there in the middle of her trunk we still have no idea how they got in her trunk it occurred to us that maybe we had been mistaken and had taken her car but that was impossible during the caper caper her car had been stored at a friend's house across town and we didn't drive it for a few months after a night of heavy drinking i was playing fallout new vegas on my laptop when i got up to go to the toilet i knocked the laptop off the bedside cabinet and its screen was completely smashed up i remember feeling the cracks and looking at the whole multicolored streaks that occur sometimes when you duck up the monitor i was too drunk and tired to deal with it at that point so i set it at the bottom of my bed and went to sleep the next day i was stressing about having to get my laptop fixed and how much of an idiot i am but left it to go to work that night i picked up the laptop to check it out and lo and behold the screen was completely fine no cracks no damage it weirded me out but isn't the weirdest thing i've experienced just the most strangely mundane lol i have three none of them are very dramatic but all of them were genuinely unsettling and disconcerting at the time one in my childhood home my room was in the basement to get to my room you opened the rec room door took about 10 steps into the laundry room made a right down a short haul and there was my bedroom door i often did it in the dark because it was a pain to turn on the light one time i opened the door walked 10 steps took a right took 10 more steps opened my bedroom door turned on the light and i was still in the rec room i was struck dumb for several moments to one summer i went to bed monday evening slept for eight hours and woke up and it was wednesday morning i thought my family was messing with me i was really upset with them and then just confused somehow i lost a full 24 hours three one evening i watched a car roll slowly down a narrow street and right under a bright street light where i could see clearly and unambiguously that there was no one in the car it all to the corner slowed down turned left and up the hill and then that one time i totally dodges a bunch of bullets and fought a well-dressed street gang made entirely of l and cosplayers i'm not sure if this qualifies but it was certainly a weird experience i was shopping in a shopping center mall when i noticed people looking at me strangely it happened twice which was strange and i might never have remembered that except that it happened a third time that was the moment when i freaked out because something was clearly wrong it was two guys in target one looked at me like whoa nudged his friend who looked at me with the same reaction they said something to each other laughed and started walking away turning for another glance note i'm just an average looking person i went and found a full-length mirror and studied myself front side back for the longest time and couldn't see anything unusual i only had one head no toilet paper sticking out of my pants nothing i was dressed normally it was probably 10 years ago and i still wonder what was wrong that day this happened when i was in high school so like 2006 2007 a while back normally when i walked to school i would stop by a starbucks on my way get myself a lat chat with the cute barista then head into school this walk and trip to starbucks took me roughly 30 to 45 minutes from the time i left to getting into the school building one day i promised myself i'd just had right to school because of a meeting for drama class i needed to get to and i wanted to prove to my friends i wasn't addicted to coffee i headed out at my usual time 730 i got to the end of my street and blinked and next thing i knew i was with my friends waiting for the meeting to start drinking a coffee it was only 745 when i finally snapped into it my friends were making a joke that i obviously left the house early to get my coffee check my phone for proof and there was a message from me at 730 to my the time crush slash friend saying i'm leaving see you in a bit sent cute pick two because yeah no crush plus prof i was actually leaving my house close bracket even if i hadn't stopped for coffee the walk is still closer to 25 to 30 minutes we are not sure how i made it in 15 the next day i stopped at starbucks and the usual barista was asking where i had been the day before because he missed me i was very confused and asked what he meant because i had obviously stopped as i had coffee he said no because he had anticipated me coming in and made my coffee ahead of time but i never came by to get it i then told my friends and we were very confused about the whole thing around 20 years ago my class was coming back from a school camp we stopped offered a picnic area next to a large bay for snacks toilet breaks etc a couple of my friends and a teacher went to the water's edge and looked out that's when we all saw what looked like a fully floating flag flying moving steam coming out and all civil war ironclad about a mile out it was a cool sight we talked amongst each other about how weird and cool it was as the teacher didn't believe there was any left yet alone any floating and operating then it was gone not as if it moved and we lost it like gone no steam no steam trail where the boat was nothing i remember how we all felt really uncomfortable for a few seconds then we shrugged it off and got back on the bus i think about this every now and then as one of the weirdest things i've ever seen civil war slash victorian era time traveler lol ghost ship probably not mirage maybe who knows but it was weird when i was in elementary school i was sitting on the carpet with other classmates listening to the teacher read a book i looked down to find a single drop of blood on my forearm i instinctively search my body for where the blood could have possibly come from found another drop on my pants at this point in freaking out and i start to open my mouth to say something and like a tablespoon of blood comes out of my mouth along with a tooth ed simply lost a tooth just like everyone does the difference being i didn't have to work it out didn't taste any blood didn't feel any pain and wasn't aware of any of it until i looked down i was horrified and confused until i got to visit the nurse and got a cool case for my bloody tooth that made it all better i got an a12 ox cart cup at the space and rocket center in huntsville alabama a year or two ago i love the cup i hang it in the same spot every day after hand washing and it's big enough to hold a nice big quantity of get me going juice that i have a dough dark 30 every morning once in a while i'll carry it upstairs with me for some morning work that needs some caffeine but i always bring it back down later that morning hand wash it then hang it up on the hook where it's always waiting for me each morning when i wake up a few weeks ago i brought the coffee up to my office and drank it unlike usual though i got distracted and forgot to bring it back downstairs later that day i went downstairs and found my cup hanging by the sink where i usually put it after washing i wasn't sure how it got there but figured maybe i'd forgotten bringing it down or maybe my wife had seen it and grabbed it no biggie but later on i found the empty dirty cup in my office i took it downstairs and well long story short i have somehow have two a12 ox cart coffee mugs from the space and rocketry center in huntsville al does that count i was chilling out in my bed watching some series i rolled a joint and realized my lighter was somewhere under my blanket i put my joint next to my pillow and started moving around my blanket looking for my lighter once i found it i realized my joint had disappeared at first i thought it had fallen on the floor between my bed and the wall so i crawled down there to see if was there but i found nothing i then thought it had fallen between the mattress and the bed frame i've got an old bed with a massive wooden frame and there's a huge gap between the bed frame and the mattress sometimes when i change my sheets i find random objects that fell there years ago i put my pillows my blanket and my bolster on the floor and lifted the mattress if it had fallen there there was no way i couldn't find it but nope it wasn't there i've never found it and i don't know where the heck it disappeared sometimes i tell that story to my friends and they tell me that i must have gone looking my lighter because i wanted to smoke and then thought i had already rolled the joint but didn't find it because i hadn't actually rolled it but i swear i remember taking the pot out its pocket rolling the joint and everything but it just f king disappeared as far as these kind of questions go mine is a comically mundane thing but it is what it is short version i had a very unsettling premonition that my electric kettle was going to break and then a few hours later it did ah t is hilarious and ridiculous but when i say unsettling tea wasn't the content of the premonition i got a new kettle the next day and everything was fine i it was just the way it happened i was in my kitchen and just suddenly had this thought what if my kettle breaks i don't have a spare but it was unlike any thought i'd ever had before it didn't feel like it was mine i can only describe it as it felt like i didn't think it but this thought had just suddenly been placed in my head from an external source it actually felt violent and intrusive like a thought which didn't belong to me had just been shoved hard into my brain it was a weird enough experience that i honestly was unsettled by it i stopped what i was doing for a moment and was like what the hell was that that thought wasn't mine and yeah a few hours later i was boiling water in the kettle to make tea and suddenly a blue spark flew out the base and it stopped working and i wasn't surprised because i'd known it was going to happen i was once watching a youtube video that reads reddit posts with a robot voice the title of the video was discredit when have you had a gut feeling something was wrong and it turned out to be true the very first story featured in the video went something like this i was in a bad neighborhood and i had to stop for gas i had a bad feeling about the gas station because it was one of those where you can't go into the store after a certain time and all you can do is pump gas with a card as i was filling up an older man came up to me asking for change and just wouldn't take no for an answer he then started looking inside my car and tried to open the door but he gave up and went away it turns out i was right about my bad feeling because later that week i was reading an article that listed that neighborhood i was in as the number one worst neighborhood in the usa apostrophe so after watching this whole video with all the stories i scroll down to the comment section i see the same exact carbon copy print of the same story and it has about 40 likes i thought that was weird because why would somebody copy that story and paste it thinking people wouldn't notice they stole it and why did 40 people give it a thumbs up i scrolled back up to rewatch the video and the story wasn't there i hallucinated it in great detail and then saw the same exact story in the comments down to every little detail i became 100 certain of simulation theory after that and started losing my mind one early evening i left the city of dundee scotland and i was was driving on the motorway highway towards edinburgh it was a little foggy but other than that the driving conditions were okay after a short time i noticed how quiet the road was no cars approaching and no cars behind i continued down the road about half an hour goes by and still no cars to be seen strange considering this is a main route going north south i remember feeling really calm for some reason at peace with myself about 15 to 20 minutes pass and i'm wondering what's going on where is everyone i don't recall seeing any of the usual signs so i had no idea where i was exactly also didn't see any exits then finally i see a car approaching followed by another cars began to appear i can see faster vehicles coming up from behind and i felt a sense of relief that was a very strange experience like i was in a different place for about an hour i have never been able to explain it a few months ago i went with my grandmother to the grocery store she had her keys for the house and her car on one lanyard so she picks me up we get to the store get what we need and she somehow loses her keys so we think we drop them in the store so we take turns running into the store looking around and checking with managers to see if anyone pick them up so we call my aunt to get my grandmother home and she finds them on her office desk lanyard and everything it was the trippiest [ __ ] i've ever gone through because we had an entire conversation about her land yard while it was hanging from the key in the ignition and somehow they got back to her house she leaves the back door unlocked so her elderly neighbor can come upstairs and visit so thankfully she could get back inside the bell for the end of class rang and like normal we packed up and thanked the teacher on our way out it seemed normal until less than 30 seconds later another mate and i saw him leaving the teacher's staff room which was only three classrooms down now there was no way he would have been able to pass us as the classroom was located on a narrow balcony about four meter wide and like i said he was still clearing up his stuff when we left when we saw him we looked at each other and i remember both of us being stumped as to how he got to the staff room did whatever he was doing and then left before we had even walked 10 meters from the classroom we ended up shrugging it off and thought that maybe one of us missed him walking past us which would have been basically impossible i got a new bank card in the mail because they had switched to chip i had to go in and validate my new card within 90 days or it would be automatically cancelled one week before the 90 day period ended i decided to go in before i lost the card i lived very far away from the bank a 10 kilometers walk round trip and had no car so i was avoiding it i had to make a deposit for my friend anyway so thought hair's good time as any i get to the bank and put my card in the machine left saying my password was wrong which is impossible since it was my birthday pretty sure i know my birthday i decide well i'm here anyway and go in with a bank teller to change my password i do it and walked out the table went back to the nachi nan my card was gone i knew my card was with me when the teller handed me my card back from changing my password i held it on the same hand i was holding my phone before i went through the rotating door i waved at the security guard to show my phone so head just let me through if the metal detector beeped and saw the card in my hand when i did so the second i went past those doors it disappeared i searched the whole bank thinking maybe i misplaced it in nothing i'll let the employees know that i had lost my card but no one ever called to say they found it very unlikely someone stole it because to access my bank account you'd need my password and social security number anyway the card completely vanished and to this day i have no idea how in 2015 i was in a walmart when i found a slenderman dvd i'd never seen it before and was excited because at the time i was really into creepypastas anyway we left went to another walmart closer to our house and i looked for it there and i've never seen it since now looking up the dvd i found the same packaging slash cover but the release date was in 2018 same exact one but i saw it three years before it was actually released neither of my parents remember me pointing it out in the store might not be as severe as other stories people have on here but it's one that i for sure remember happening to me hi this is my first post on reddit i found a slasher spread it through youtube anyway here is mine so i fell asleep for a moment on my desk woke up same place then got back to work then i had to go to the bathroom it usually takes 15 minutes total for me to get to the bathroom you sit and go back now i forgot about dork knobs and slammed my face into the door but somehow i may have phased through to a totally different building i ended up dazed tired and confused i searched my pocket for my phone but it wasn't there must have left it at my desk the building was all yellow looking buzzing fluorescent lights and uncleaned carpet the wallpaper was inconsistent and so were the walls themselves the only thing i could hear was wind the buzzing and my own breath and footsteps when i was walking so i decided to explore a bit i may have went to the wrong door but there was no one so i yelled out hello anybody here to help no response after five minutes of exploring i saw a shadow so i followed it but i tripped and i ended up back near the bathroom i went back to my desk and my co-worker asked me where have you been you were gone for an hour and a half really one of my strangest experienced this is a copy paste of my first comment on reddit my elementary school has a church down the street when i attend attended we would occasionally walk to and from the church as a school my classmate brought his army toy little g i joe figures like the size of one of those green parachute dudes to play with because church is boring for kids but the guy loses it so my teacher makes our class stay behind when every other class started the walk back so the guy can search for said figure but he never found it he give up and we started heading back about five minutes into the walk i felt a sharp pain in my foot his army dude sword was poking into my heel i have no idea how it got there i wasn't near him at any point and this wasn't a small toy so i was lost how it could have been in my shoe let alone how it got there and it's not the kind of thing you could walk five minutes with and just not notice i know it's rather lackluster and i'm sure some might just think i stole it or something like that but it genuinely freaked me out to the point that i remember it clearly still nearly a decade later i was on my way back home during rush hour on a double-decked bus the bus was packed with people not a single seat was empty i sat upstairs with my headphones on so i didn't notice anything particular weird suddenly everyone on the upper deck stood up and got ready to leave the bus i thought the bus had broken down coswor were stuck on a busy road quite far from the sidewalks i got up and followed the crowded to get off the bus and rush to the sidewalk people were scattering like a flock of frightened birds in five seconds they're all gone feeling pretty weirded out i looked back at the bus there wasn't a single person on the upper deck yet the bus continued going not broken down at all it was an industrial area so normally no one would get off at that hour i was stuck in that part of the city for an extra one hour confused as hell don't know if it counts but once woke up to the radio turning on at night it was on a random station and heard people talking after like five seconds it turned off i looked to see the plug was not in the wall outlet and it was not a radio that could have batteries in it i gave it a weird look nothing cold possibly turned that radio on and back off at complete random with no power source and what about the speakers those need power too that night weirded me out a bit i still cannot really think of a possible way as to how that cold happened about the voices on the radio they were just regular human voices of a radio station no weird creepy 3 am should be on the radio randomly turning on and off happened one day my grandma told me she wanted to look good in her casket and even gave me the photo she wanted to put up for her funeral i was like 10 that time and i just such the thought of it since she was very healthy and was in her 70s she was never sick not of what we thought of then my uncle suddenly had a gut to get her check up turns up she was heavily sick such diseases suddenly appeared that shook us all she insisted she don't want to be hospitalized but my uncle insisted thinking she would get better she didn't survive she died during dialysis three days later it was very painful we held her funeral in my aunt's house 15 minutes walk away from my grandparents house on third day my uncle from went to her house to get some rest since my aunt's house is fully occupied by us my aunt remembered cleaning up her house earlier since there will be no people staying there for a moment but once my uncle went to the house he found grandma's slippers outside her room where she usually place it when she was still alive nobody goes there during the funeral so it is impossible somebody placed it there after her burial we have this superstitions of 49 days and such i think a month later my mom dreamed about her my mom was the one who stayed with her during her last moments it was terrifying to witness her screaming from pain but my mom cannot do anything so in mom's dream she was still in her bedroom but my grandma was in her couch she was crying in pain she was asking for help as if she cannot get out my father then woke up my mom bc he noticed her shaking she often have sleeping paralysis i loved my grandma so much that i'd visit her grave every day and always wish she would be visit me in my dreams just like my mom even though i'm scared i was desperate because her death was unexpected and i never had a chance to say goodbye a year later i had a dream about her in my dream i was in my school then she visited me in my classroom in that moment i wasn't aware of her passing we just talk and laugh of things but our past and suddenly i came to my senses then i hugged her so tightly that i can still remember the feel of her clothes onto my skin when i woke up i got to say goodbye to her and she said she will go then i woke up crying it has been years and the memory is still clear to me i miss her even more thanks for watching don't leave before leaving a like to this video also hit the subscribe button to
