Ginny Di & Pointy Hat’s KRAKEN WEEK: My D&D Sea Encounter contribution (Bone Kraken)

come sit a while stranger the weather is Wild tonight and dren the god of storms will not pity the weak who are swept away let me tell you a tale of the bone Kraken who has been hering the coastal towns for some time now a terrible bone Golem animated by a fell Necromancer named grics hello this is an epic Week DC 20's Kickstarter campaign has ended and it's Kraken week that's right jinny d and pointy hat have created a collaborative time frame where TTR rpgers can share creative videos themed around aquatic adventures and monsters maybe a tradition that could continue on like May the 4th I decided to throw my hat into the arena I don't have a pointy hat and quickly hobble together a random encounter for your next seafaring campaign the antagonist of the piece is gxs black salt a gremlin artificer Necromancer who left the Fay Wild to pursue Fame and Glory as a pirate Captain what an odd mix but quirky enough to be a cool concept you see grics uses his necromantic powers to summon a Workforce of skeletons to help him create a kraken bone Golem of sorts which he uses as an underwater vessel to Pilot the seven seas in search of loot not only combing the ocean floor we ain't found but attacking Merchant ships along his Meandering Journey his second in command is a white ch champion who carries a long sword and a bag of wait for it Undead starfish which he uses like ninja stars when a Target is hit by one they are inflicted with necrotic damage as the starfish bites into it thought it would be hilariously creepy having a player covered in Zombie starfish but the coolest I think of gx's subordinates is the flesh Golem named The Corpse caner who has a freaking Cannon sticking out of his big gut zombie and Skeleton Crew can load cannonballs in a hatch in his back and fire at the enemies from the front not to mention using the O as a meat Shield as he does provide cover to those behind him I would say however that the bone Kraken ship itself is a feat to Marvel at in dread horror it's actually made of Bones from various beasts such as Giants and Dragons since Krakens don't have bones in their tentacles grics fashion these with spines and thigh Bones from these larger beasts anyway the PDF with the monster stats and the loot tables are available in the description below as well as some tokens to use in your game enjoy this little gift and be free to change whatever you want Happy Kraken week
