GHOSTBUSTERS' Mckenna Grace on spinal surgery, unusual crushes and James Acaster *CONTAINS SPOILERS*

amazing congratulations really like you you're like so cool like I love your hair and your outfit like I I wish that I like looked cooler right now to like match your Vibe oh my God you're like my hype woman I need to all time I just follow you around and be like you're so cool you're a very very cool in this project can I just say you're amazing h phoe's a bit of a a life force okay we love her um she develops a crush on a ghost I don't want to spoil anything that happens after that but for me I think maybe this a bit of an unusual Crush should we say I've had some unusual crushes in my time one of my friends actually fancied B Simpson when we were younger Bart Simpson oh my God yeah do you have any unusual crushes I love this this is so fun I can already tell this will be a fun interview the other day literally flying here for press I was wearing this isn't unusual because I mean but uh I was wearing a shirt that was like pink and it had a heart and Hayden Christensen was on it um so there's that oh hot priest but that's not wild he's literally named Hot priest um from fle bag he fantastic I have him on a bag I'm going to I'm going to be yelling out names throughout this interview because I'm going to be thinking of people okay hot priest number one be great okay number one I also love how romantic she is but also a risk taker I mean almost killing yourself so you can exist on the same physical plane as your crush for two minutes is like wild to me what is a massive risk that you've taken in your life that's so funny yeah that is like very Romeo and Juliet of me what can I say I'm just is what can I say I mean in life probably just moving out to California I'm from Texas to be an actor whenever I was like six you know so that was a massive risk in my life um that I'm so happy I'm here now it's very weird to think about I mean that's definitely paid off anyway I was like let's thing yeah honestly just moving out to LA and acting was a massive massive risk amazing and then we obviously have to talk about you're here in England the home of James acter oh my gosh what was like his funniest moment on set cuz he cracks me up I think he's hilarious I was just having dinner with him last night and I am like obsessed with him he's hilarious there was a scene where that got cut out of the film and replaced with something else but he has like the orb like crushed up in his hand and he was like no she's right we're all in big trouble and then like drops the orb bits on the car and it was supposed to be really dramatic where it just like falls out of his hand but he goes and they just like Splat onto the car and everyone's like no no no no you got to like do it slowly and then he would try and do it slowly but then it would just be weird so we ended up doing that for like an hour just where it was him just doing that and they're like no no no it's not right and then we just like did that for like an hour and that was hilarious none of us could keep it together I love that he's gone from like comedy shows to doing this for like an hour that's amazing don't you love that I love the also having dinner with him is like your dinner mates now I love that it's so crazy I love him um he's such like a also just like such a foodie has that podcast about food um if I say to you papad arms are bread does that no okay no we'd have to it it would take too long we'll get to it I'll TT you better thank you so much yes you're obviously wearing the iconic Ghostbusters jumpsuit I'm very invested to know is it comfortable also the proton pack just doesn't look like proton pack is so heavy proton pack is like awful and I had spine surgery 3 months before shooting um which was so crazy I got um how many like three a couple levels of my spine fused so I got two metal rods and 11 screws in my spine before shooting and then that proton pack is like 40 lb and so you couldn't have made a lighter one for you I mean come on I mean the lighter one doesn't look right so like if they brought in a lighter one like we couldn't do it for the back or like anything so I was like whatever um so those are definitely not comfortable still honored to wear I wouldn't trade it for the world um did you keep it I wish they would let me um I'm constantly I think some of the Ghostbusters fans are making me a proton pack right now well this is a message make it like five P light please you need to look after yourself the suits are really comfy though the suits are I would take naps in them all the time though in this one we get Frozen suits terribly uncomfortable those were like so itchy and you couldn't move um the one thing that's uncomfortable about the suits that I was always taking off constantly and they'd always be like mcken like you need to put these back on we're shooting was the elbow pads oh yeah I don't know why but it was just the elbow pads would like get really tight and I just even if you want to have a drink of water it's like it's not happening it get on my nerves but the suit's Cozy and so many pockets I'd find candy wrappers in my pockets sorry that's handy for phones and stuff um I want to ask you lastly you were also in The Haunting of Hill House and now I'm kind of just like are you in your ghost era is this you for now just in the Paranormal maybe maybe this is my thing this is my Niche um maybe I i' I've I've gotten to do a few spooky things in my time which is really fun I love it now I'm getting to bust ghosts which is cool I did um I I yeah I did The Haunting of Hill House I did an Annabelle film where I I got to bust demon so that was cool but um you know this is much more of a global scale level of saving the world and in ghosts which is crazy I love it do you believe in ghosts I would hesitate but then I think about the fact that whenever Dan akroy is telling me his ghost experiences I fully believe him so in turn by I I believe in his ghost story so I guess that means that I believe in ghosts because I fully believe that they're true and real um but then I myself am like I don't know if I believe in ghosts like maybe I haven't had like a ghost experience but just listening to his I'm like okay I believe in ghosts yeah yeah yeah yeah I was going to say has there ever been a time that you've been a bit like I feel like filming spooky things I'd be like on Annabelle we had like a lot of creepy things happen around set but also whenever you start a production by having a priest come to set and like bless it with holy water that definitely puts everyone on edge yeah and not even the hot one just a regular old oh wait I got to think one more person before they let you go um um um oh you know I was watching a Tik Tok this morning and it was like what hot uh guy are you and I think I got um it said Abraham Lincoln on it but it was uh Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead I wouldn't say that that's an a weird Crush but that's who I got this morning because it was like based off of your birth month it's your crush at the day I love it God I'm in love with Hayden Christensen like that's all I can think of I love that for you I love that you're in love that's amazing than you so much it's really beautiful feel yes
