hello ladies and gentlemen it's mike here at game from scratch and today it is the first tuesday of the month so you know what that means it is time for some free unity ass in a minute no that's the wrong video isn't it that video is coming later i know you unreal developers are waiting for your free stuff but guess what unity developers you're getting yours today and i really like this it's something that unity has started doing a couple of months back and they have publisher sales but for each publisher they give away one free asset and we have another such sale going on right now so this one is a particle asset sales and you get 50 off assets from crypto 289 arkan or vfx and hovl studios but the cool thing here is for each one there is also a free gift so for the one you get the realistic effects pack number three a uh dazzle your players with high quality hyper realistic effects that go way beyond colorful flashes of light and come with distortion and other bells and whistles from arkan or vfx you get the action rpg effects designed for top top-down action rpgs these particle effects will put a spell on you with ample item indicators portals resource orbs click effects and more and the aoe magic spells volume one from hovel studio complete with sound and cool v effects these area of effects particles feature a variety of techniques including the use of 3d meshes to produce top-notch effects for your game so for each one of these a free gift is available what you have to do is use the checkout code particle party so basically for each one you click it you go ahead you add it into your cart so you can just basically add cart right here um and then when you check out i'm hoping this doesn't have too much information on it that i have to blur out uh of course you have to have a unity account already and you have to be logged in uh yeah all kinds of information i'm gonna have to blog out great so anyways what you will find there is a price attached to it over here uh what you do is basically enter the code right here click the apply button and then you will magically see that price drops to zero i would actually recommend adding all three to your cart before you check out you could do it all at once uh you have to have some kind of a valid payment mechanism hooked up to be able to use this uh i have paypal as you can't see because i have it blurred out right now uh but you can use a credit card whatever but it will not be built you'll notice your price goes to zero and then the assets are yours forever now of course on top of this there is also a sale going on all of the i don't know if it's all of their assets but a number of the assets from each of the developers is 50 off so you see here they've got um a number of different this is uh crypto289s assets you got some water systems here for the various different pipelines you've got realistic special effects you got rain effects magic effects so we're definitely down hardcore in the particle effects area then we got from the uh arkanor vfx set uh you've got a number of particle effects uh half price as well including uh cartoony effects smokes and ember magic effects strategy game effects fire and smoke pixel effects and so on uh kind of a broad variety going on right there again all of them half price some of these things are are quite cheap so you're gonna like five bucks at this case or even 250 uh mind you i don't know this one has anything to do with particle effects and then finally we've got 50 off hubble studios assets here you can see it's more things like um you know magic effects uh fireworks explosions spell effects and so on and so forth by the way if you're looking for creating your own effects do check out effects here you can create a lot of these types of things using effects here it's a great program in that regard but that is kind of a secondary thing and then of course you've got all three of the asset packs available here so if you want to learn more about them click the free gifts you can learn more about the individual asset uh once you have purchased it it is just straight up yours so the first particle effect contains 38 uh particle effects in it uh contains a set of scripts ready to use effects uh for projectile collection based on raycast so it's a little bit more just particle effects they're ready to drop into your game uh ready to go so you can see some of the stuff that you can do with them here in the examples we go on ba and now i gotta blow it even more uh so i guess i gotta do here let me go out of full screen so we go on back to the next particle effect that is free today uh you see over here the action rpg drill down into that one and you will find uh 137 total prefabs most effects available in multiple colors easy scale 38 textures things like energy shields character circles doorway glow fire torch rains pick up so on uh you can see examples of some of these in action right here so if you're doing again that top-down art style could be a good collection for you and then the final set for some reason the normal back does not work for my mouse so let's click right there uh the final one is here come on the aoe magical spell effects and this one is what do we got lwr and hdrp pipelines are supported um 12 area effect spells one nice thing here is you've got sound effects with them as well each one is unique and you can see some of the effects in action right there so once you've bought these they are yours forever the sale runs i think it's two weeks i don't know if they give an expiration so uh no october 9th so only a few days actually um so if you want to get on this one get it in the next couple of days uh once they're yours they're yours forever you just gotta pick them up within that window i do like this approach this publisher sales and giving away a few assets with each one um so if you're looking for some particle effects packs that's what this one is three different sets of packs and then for each publisher there it looks like the majority if not all of their assets are also 50 off so if you want to get more in the same style or you need more of the same in general uh it's a good chance for you to pick it up i do like this approach i hope unity keeps it up by the way if you do use my links i get a small commission
