h [Music] [Music] hello welcome back it's a Saturday stream we got to get some Saturday zomboid in we resume Gerardo depu um is it herard Heraldo herard Hamlin last name Hamlin um this uh this character if you recall is uh currently occupying the Rosewood Firehouse is where we've decided to um to plant a flag for now we've got some some things are in motion some surviving has been done there's more to do we're preparing for the helicopter event which should be happening um at some point the water is still on from what I can tell let's give all of our clothes a nice wash we're feeling a little bit sleepy and while the water is still on look at that look at that how scrub scrubs up fine it's a fine scrubs up real nice I got a map of moldraw moldraw I don't need anymore now that I've looked at it put some of these in here we got the herbalist which is unread an empty bowl this is not needed here and we got a whole bunch of books and stuff here too right you might need to start doing some tailoring reinforcing some of our stuff right carpentry volume 1 I was in the middle of reading electrician one is pretty good there's all these magazines that we can read as well um I've got a such your needle but I think I just need a normal needle right to do tailoring or can I do it with a sucher needle this I'm not sure about it's time to go and check are the zombis gone they are not gone no they are still here we need to be careful when we're coming down here because this is not a secure area especially uh the garage door is completely missing we have to build a wall or something here some oh there's a box of nails in here too and a box of screws useful put this put that with the tools with our tools all right dirty leather strips I don't know how many of them I need need uh I can clean all of them though I have a sewing kit somewhere you know what you're right I do actually it's right here and there's a needle inside holy crap well there you go now we can sew I don't even know how to sew um metal working farming General cooking survivalist well I don't even know where I think you just maybe do it like here um all right let's see I don't think we can modify firefighter pants I think a a lumberjack shirt we could probably though craft a sheet rope place an item no mil military boots maybe you got to inspect first can't be repaired upper torso add padding okay leather strips so we get scratch defense plus two and bite defense plus one on our Lumberjack shirt lower torso as well left upper arm let's just add padding to all using leather strips sure so this should give us a little bit more protection some leather strips anything that we can pad with leather strips we we should I suppose right let me see if I have some more leather strips I do I have five more in here uh um and I mean we can get plenty more as well right it's not a problem quite tired okay cool that's great it's going to be uh TV time in a minute so we can um we can just sit in here read for a bit watch some TV Terry's going a bit crazy but he's going to be fed in a second uh police bulletproof vest so we've got not only are we wearing a lumber Jack shirt we're also wearing a police Trooper t-shirt and a tank top so we've got multiple multiple um layers our leather gloves I guess we can probably add padding as well leather strips patch nice um glasses helmet dust mask can't be repaired so we can't add anything to it the clip on bow tie uh duffel bag tank top soak okay let's add some leather strips to our tank top as well why not so tailoring um we've gotten no oh we've gotten a little bit we don't have an XP uh multiplier for tailoring right so it's not going to uh inspect okay this the condition of this is not great how do you actually repair um an item just from the actual inventory item or from the inspect as well what a shirt rip clothing craft sheet rope no inspect condition upper torso remove all patches remove all patches remove all patches yeah I don't know how to actually repair an item I mean I it doesn't matter but what about our long socks that's good tailoring fabric needle and thread required for clothing repair oh okay I can't repair it because I don't actually have any um ripped sheets on me right and thread so I'd need to go get all that stuff or at least stand near the uh the thing okay that's fine I could do that so we're going to want to get some more uh thread and stuff too right let's put this stuff in here for now and start reading the herbalist wonderful we've learned some herbal remedies um let's read this one too rip sheets to repair gotcha gotcha um make wooden box trap and make a stick trap sure I'm reading make a cage trap and make a trap box oh exposure survival what do you think more foraging metal work gives want to make a normal salad let's put some cheese in here some lettuce how about an orange a pickle we'll season it with a bit of salt let's get a tomato in here we have any olive oil or anything no we don't okay that that'll do wonderful cheese cheese and orange salad yeah my favorite all right a nice 4 a.m. wake perfect time to start cooking up some meat why not e let's make a meat Patty we can't put a meat Patty in here stir fry we can't do anything with the meat Patty here either we can slice up this ham okay done it you want to make a chicken uh chicken let's get some butter on here let's get an egg in here too let's get a couple of eggs in here right we got to we got to we got to bulk up you should never really eat four eggs but let's get some margarine in here too nice and uh how about a little bit of tomato paste too that'll finish it off good I think okay perfect okay I want to put these back in here I'll put this empty bowl in here too look at this 45 hunger 22 boredom 17 unhappiness no problem careful he's going to [Laughter] escape I'm eating it I'm eating the whole thing good uh the sun's been out right so we're our weight is 68 at the moment okay this has helped us put on a little bit of weight that's nice all right we're just in time for our favorite TV shows can read a little bit of our bookish one first pace yourself Terry more cooking oh cooking level up too it's nice okay let's read until about 7:30 and then we'll go turn the radio on we want to see if the helicopter is uh coming tomorrow right great have a smoke put the griddle pan back try to to conserve the battery of the uh radio for now I don't know what uh the message looks like for the uh the chopper but we'll see okay automated broadcast system temperature is 24° today with a minimum of 18 a maximum of 28 mild wind from the Northwest clear skies light fog as usual and then tomorrow's 24 with 18% humidity jeez that's humid clear skies again no light fog okay so does that mean now that the helicopter is not arriving today does it so if it doesn't say on the radio at 8:00 does that mean for that day you're clear or is it does it give you a day's notice like will it tell me um the day before it happens but firefighting out oh you think it's the day of okay day of right and what does oh actually I guess we'll see the message it's it's probably I mean it's it otherwise it's just weather right so if it's anything different to that then that means that we just want to stay inside look at him he's chomping he is chomping I'm just going to finish reading this book might as well right now actually my wife is uh is really spoiling him giving him a lot of attention he loves it look at all my gas cans we're unpleasantly hot I think we're so unpleasantly hot because I think the it's the firefighter jacket right that's causing it look at all my look at all the leather padding on my Lumberjack shirt so the U the firefighter stuff can't be uh repaired is the only thing well there's a key here who knows what's that what that's for but it's probably worth taking right I think the best pants that you can get is um was it padded pants yeah he does okay we're going to get a little sweaty here it's a lot to transport but let's just get some of this stuff into these lockers why don't we bury these bodies I don't have time to do that crazy who's got time to do that okay we're no longer unpleasantly hot and we have a whole bunch of backup firefighter gear as well this is good that is good am I just going to fill up my water bottles as well we're thirsty right so we need to uh have two two bottles we go through them quick all right let's uh go out and uh see about [Music] finding anything something let's just see about doing some more surviving there's a couple of buildings down here it looks like I don't know what they are though go check come out I've never really been this far um into Rosewood before this is my first time out here somebody's watch he's got an alarm on that is so weird isn't it there's maggots here some matches sure there's something down here it's like a a fence what is this like some storage or something howdy neighbor just saying hi to um my neighbor I don't really want to jump over a fence blind cuz like who knows what's going to be on the other side of that fence there's got to be an easier way there's got to be an entrance like an actual entrance right down here maybe just be mindful of the um all the Boogey men that could be lurking in these trees I we could just knock down a fence panel but this look look at this this has got not only does it have holy crap look at this place with the uh with the fences and stuff this this has got to be like not a bad place to set up really right they can't really get in here there's quite a few of them here though they're just attacking the fence just want to make sure nothing's creeping up on me baggie jeans boxers denim shorts we're in there's a Louisville map and a credit card I don't see any uh keys on the ground here but if I check in this unit maybe there's something hello sometimes you can get them through the fence oh I don't want want to hit the fence though oh it's awkward to close nice though how long does it take to uh for them to take down a uh a fence such as this one like are we talking like quite a while if ever that fence is super weak all right oh gosh there's quite a few of them in here hey what are you guys doing uh good job leather jacket need some more leather strips oh it's like a little a little half gate what is this place are they trying to make a desert here or something it's just like a free patch it looks like with some garbage on the ground there's a whole bunch of garbage in the corner and it looks like a bunch of wood logs empty construction site can you take these wood logs oh look at all this oh yeah you can so I could come down here and get all these logs and make my log wall that's that's pretty cool okay mate some adhesive tape good for repairs what do we got in here o I'll just eat all this stuff why not pretty hungry can you actually pick up the these uh this flag yeah you can Stars and Stripes flag uhoh we're going to probably want to um well stay put actually because nothing can really get in here right so this is not a bad place to stay and then um as long as we're not seen they can't see over these fences and stuff though right carpentry Volume 2 okay we haven't read either of these carpentry volume Five metal work 2 I'll just grab them cuz I'm not sure which ones we need I know I can towards that noise looks all right for now this is the fence to our Firehouse here it's it's pretty close for us to uh to loot there actually it's not bad oh there is a a [Music] new there's a new firefighter in town where' you come from hello where did you come from that's weird isn't it all right let's grab all this stuff drop it inside I know we're horribly overweight here but it's not for too long right we need some Wheels that Locker is actually full of stuff now hell yeah yeah how about a beautiful American flag right here for everyone to enjoy just so we can remember what we're doing this for [Music] America needle pipe wrench pipe wrench nothing else can fit in this tool cabinet now it's full of stuff pretty much thread put in there tape we got magazines and stuff got lots of food that we can drop off upstairs oh we got this police bulletproof vest I'm already wearing one and it's in pretty good condition we just want to get upstairs in time for our favorite shows right which is not going to be an issue at all drop some of this stuff off upstairs I believe you started this run with default settings by accident oh can we can somebody double check that I'm pretty sure that that is not the case um is there any way to check now that I'm in I'm sure that I I I put the settings on I'm pretty sure you can get a mod to change it mid game you need a mod to check and change mid save it's on Survival only challenge rules multi-hit is on yeah I'm sure I changed it to survival only challenge rules I'm sure I changed it but now I'm questioning you're seeing it in the bot was was there a button or something that I needed to press or or something I clicked the drop down and selected it and then hit next is that enough or do I need to press another button yeah I think well the zombies do wander around yeah I don't think they they don't seem to be respawning well I hope they're not responding brown sugar oh yeah look at all this stuff we got this food got some mac and cheese got some olive oil oh maybe a few extra spawns leading up to Peak day that could uh be a thing yeah I did it right okay okay good um bottle of disinfectant we going to miss our favorite shows in a sec if we're not uh not careful should probably move the TV into the uh into the kitchen area right so that I can watch TV while I'm doing other stuff like cooking and stuff would make sense there we go that's better now I can actually make some food and watch TV at the same time that's so much better God I'm smart we can prepare a stir fry again we can prepare a roast let's do a roast chicken with some butter for sure let's get some eggs in here going to put some margarine on too trying to get fat season it with a little bit of olive oil let's get some mixed vegetables in here how about a bit of salt and pepper too and what about maybe just some tomato paste that is wonderful holy crap exposure survival we got some carpentry from that oh it's Woodcraft Woodcraft popped on too here we go ready for this boom that's huge okay let's put some of these books away um what are we currently reading right now skills carpentry two foraging is at two so we want to start reading carpentry 2 I think this next uh metal work magazine is going to give us metal walls and metal roof that's nice can read that one first let me grab these bowls and stuff too something here can opener okay we're pretty tired but we could probably read this magazine right yeah I move the TV in here because we're just kind of doing everything in here right now so it makes sense to do it and then we indoors all day and um hope that we NE we don't get spotted by the chopper which we should not because I do have sheets on every window up here every window is sheeted I don't think there's any Windows over here yeah I do need to do something about the garage door but the helicopter won't be able to see through the garage door I don't think in the meantime uh let me just go grab a couple of bits and pieces from here uh what do I want Nails I don't have any planks sheet thread more military boost boots it's my collection of axes got lots of them there's a pipe wrench in here too okay we can start putting some of this stuff in here some of the stuff that I don't necessarily need to carry around with me and I think we're just going to spend the day reading and probably just exercising can you actually pick this stuff up or do anything with it Fitness Contraption I don't think you can actually use the uh use them though right no there's got to be a mod where you can use them though right for all right fine let's read some books read some books and wait for the chopper to go if it even turns up it said Air Act oh know there it is there was nothing on at uh noon we didn't get any actually need to put on some weight though we're we're seriously underweight at this point okay I'm eating um the helicopter event is is done and we do do not need to worry about it now right it's not going to come back and uh surprise us tomorrow or anything it's uh we're good I've only got the helicopter vent on once so that should be it right shouldn't need to worry okay we'll start reading electrician next um no more TV shows did you say surpris it left so fast I did have the uh speed sped up but uh not only that we were indoors so I think if it doesn't have a chance of detecting you it with uh playthroughs now I'm not sure what I found in this one as opposed to the seven other ones before Gerardo I feel like I had some Woodcraft VHS tapes at one point but I don't know which character had them did I get the stuff from the Survivor house um I don't think I found a Survivor house yet with uh with Gerardo we got to be careful cuz there was uh a gunshot right there's a gunshot um and the chopper yesterday so there could well be some uh zombies where we're not expecting them oh that's spicy this guy is dressed for the occasion he's got a red pen and oh man what a babe what a babe see nice um we can just grab a mirror muffin tray rolling pin some mugs a bit of food some yeast and pancake mix jeans suit pants t-shirt no no no no no all right should we grab uh this barbecue might be good to have uh a barbecue for when the power goes out right it's quite heavy though we can remove the propane tank oh it's heavy I mean it would be right it's a propane tank they're not they're not known to be light it's or maybe they are I don't know oh we haven't even been in oh yeah we did go in here okay so this whole place has been we've done this now right we just want logs and we want this propane tank and God it would have been nice to get this van but oh is that a key that does look like a key yeah oh my God man he we might have the van after all there's a couple of nasty [ __ ] here there's a bit of fuel too we can actually get this thing back just got to go clear some some uh guys out of the way we can refuel this uh we got a little bit of uh gas right our own gas not much though a little bit can I oh I can't get this excuse me guys can you come over here please might have to just jump the fence and get them I don't see anything else out here let me go grab that propane tank let loaded in the uh in the van I'll drive the van up there actually and then we can get uh back to the uh fire station drop some stuff off there's some duct tape back here too there's so much space in the back of this van 118 jeez should we just take the whole barbecue back with us too just in case say it's a George for guy barbecue I love that does this place not have a fridge I don't think it does that's weird eh all right we got a uh propane tank and a barbecue that we can uh we can use uh later right especially once the power goes out oh they must have heard the uh the vehicle hello um let's just clear these guys out too cuz they're just going to follow me I'll just have to kill them eventually M2 young man my credit card oh yeah nice oh man nice to have a um nice to have a ride actually we go up to the gas station this is red five uh coming in for a landing I love that we can just do this too that's nice isn't it look at this you just bring it right in so much room for activities yeah you're you're right here got a a propane tank very nice is it okay to grill in the garage probably not no um I think it we'll uh if we find a sled EDG Hammer we can have a nice Grill spot on the uh on the roof would be good all right I got some food that I got to take upstairs hopefully our base is not compromised while I've been away shouldn't be but you never know imagine you walk in here and it's just like the FBI it was all a dream what have you been doing we've been following your all your mov M ments for months what how could this be you're in a lot of trouble young man what no I didn't mean to got a fresh watermelon damn and some pancake mix too we we actually have a nice um amount of food now let good good do have uh Another Empty Bottle here okay I'll take this tarp and stuff downstairs let's make something to eat what do we want to make oatmeal fruit salad let's just have some oatmeal there yeah why not have a little bit oatmeal all right we need to find uh now that we got wheels uh we can uh we can put a bit more gas in here would be really good to take all the gas cans to the gas station and uh get a nice supply of gas also fuel up the uh the ride and then we can go pick up that generator that we left uh out in the middle of the road in the neighborhood right could be good and then we'd have some fuel for the generator need to FL find a sledgehammer too and then with all these empty gas cans we'll um we'll fill them all up I don't know where we're going to get a sledgehammer from though is the only thing construction site we were just at a construction site and there was nothing there oh we got to go to get all those logs too right um if we get all those logs we could uh we could barricade this open door here and then when we come back just open this door Park in here close it again cuz they uh they wrecked this we should really barricade It Off I need um oh I don't really need the denim strips I'm just going to rip all this clothing for Sheets cuz I I think it's logs and sheets to make log walls right which is what we'll be making just for now okay here let me drop some of this stuff off we're hungry again the oatmeal did not cut it really did not cut it um right so we've got oh we got a lot of thread from that that's good rip cheats all this stuff should have made some pancakes I regret not making them now you're right I should have made some that would have been good uh this tarp is not going to fit in here we can put some stuff in here as well we need big uh oh forgot to had that other pair of boots we need some big shelves like those those metal shelving units would be really good I think if we got a propane torch we can uh we can take them from other places too and bring them back especially if we've got the car could be good uh cigarettes mirror axe empty bowl we're going to start to get pretty tired soon we should uh we should really try to um fix our sleeping schedule a little if possible how about a fruit salad let's keep the scurvy away there's a less dangerous gas station to the South you don't have to drive through town oh okay it's not uh driving through Town's not a huge issue though we've been about halfway up town and it's not so bad could be busier there now though I suppose is there anyone out here no m might as well grab all this right we're not going to use any of this stuff I think we got enough firefighter gear to last us a lifetime as well considering our average life expectancy is like 10 days so that's being generous as well for if you cook all the raw meat first and then use it in a recipe you get XP from cooking the food and then XP for using it in a recipe all right so what you just cook it all first and then and then just put it in your uh in your fridge and then you make dishes with uh with the cooked stuff is that what you're saying for use the cooked meat in the recipes to maximize your cooking XP okay are you just saying that so that I um waste all of my um my stuff yes don't do that come on don't don't do that to me I'm having a hard enough time here as it is you know remove patch Tailoring fabric needle and thread required for clothing repair so I have thread I have a needle it's the ripped sheets that it wants me to have so it's not it can't pull the rip sheets from here it wants me to do it like this I could add rip sheets padding what actually needs to be what's in bad condition that I could try to repair this thing oh this can't be repaired okay this apparently remove patch remove patch remove patch and REM so how do you actually repair stuff then craft sheet rip clothing unequip you're not a noer no me neither i' I've never repaired um anything but the inspect and then pair there's no option to though all I can do is patches remove the patch so it's not a it's not a case of just improving the condition it's if there's an actual hole or something that's when you would need to do it firefighter pants can't be repaired this just dirty though it needs a hole okay all right and then you can repair it gotcha all right in that case we probably don't need to carry all this stuff around with us some backup scissors just in case these ones break we got the needle vitamins can opener sure bottle of disinfectant you never know the fanny packs we got a bowl of water pour into my water ball why do I have a bowl of water what the hell all right how is our weight gain going ah we're up to 70 that's good that is good so you think okay I'm going to take um these Stakes I'm going to grab two steaks and I'm going to cook them and see if you're right and so what do I do I just put the cooked steaks back in the fridge to keep them fresh they're slightly burning okay so now I can make steak fresh cooked burrito I can't really make anything speci speci with this though right is there like an actual steak recipe that uses the steak it's all just like General stuff like stews and soups make Mackie okay make pancakes I need a fork a spatula or a spoon sure I had a fork spatula or spoon oh maybe not holy [ __ ] it okay we're going to need to uh to get one I'll I'll keep an an eye out for one I didn't realize I I didn't have one actually steak pancakes the cooked meat works the same as the raw meat in the recipes but you gain the XP from cooking the meat and XP from using it in any I see I see okay so it's not a case of like making something specific it's just when you cook meat you get a bit of XP plus also I can use my axe to slice up all this watermelon nice 10 watermelon slices M okay let's add some broccoli to this some butter one egg a halpino or a galapo if you prefer let's get some margarine bit of olive oil pepper some salt love the tomato paste damn this is steak broccoli and egg stir fry nice H What a fine meal you can eat mac and cheese right out of the pot heck yes you can let's go to sleep freeze everything and then thaw it out in the fridge before you're going to use it that's a good idea actually holy crap I would never have thought to do that we're going to want to uh grow some food at some point right probably don't need to worry about it just yet but eventually all right let's read this for a bit see if the shows come on nope the shows are done that's sad isn't it that means the water is probably going to be going out pretty soon too right not yet though so you think there's another gas station what down here somewhere we need to hit this school right I'm tempted to just go to the gas station that I know of but uh also I'm going to go get those logs right and try to uh secure this base a little um can you actually that's annoying isn't it this it's like Oh weird I can't uh hit this bit I'd have to deconstruct it I guess right disassemble and for that I need what a a propane oh I can't even oh there we go yeah a welder mask and a propane torch where is this half fence I can't do anything with it no it doesn't even open all right this we just going to have to haul logs back like this God this is going to take forever oh they're heavy look at that 36.6 already I think I could probably come ably do two at a time I'm going to break something I think who needs ankles I do oh I want I want my ankles I needs my ankles um yep okay I got the leather strips from that pretty good can you use dirty rags to make um disassemble rotate Place pick up crafting carpentry drawer what are we what are we looking to make log stack saw logs so if we saw logs we can make planks unstack logs four log stack portable shelf oh maybe I can't make the log wall yet I might need to read some more carpentry does the log wall use logs or planks I mean I have a saw a quick way to transfer inventory is on the left leaving the inventory open that you want things to go into and then on the right clicking loot all oh yeah yeah I'm losing Health while I'm carrying these logs yeah how many planks per log three planks per log jeez that's great actually I didn't bring my hammer I guess I should have brought my hammer we could have disassembled a lot of stuff here too but look at these ones oh they have logs in them too if I'm in no danger I can take all my clothes and my bags off and then move stuffff I I'm on paper yeah I get it in reality I am never doing that because I don't know if you've ever watched me play video a whole bunch must be in here okay carpentry wall log wall so I need four logs four and four rip sheets four logs to make one wall come on that's a lot of wall uh a lot of logs I'm I'm going to die carrying this stuff and then what was it four rip cheats neat there's a gap there [ __ ] oh God that's hilarious okay so we want to do another log wall here oh so if I just drop the stuff on the floor um I don't actually need to carry it and uh kill myself it'll just pick it up off the ground oh okay is it two more I just need a couple of logs now too maybe I could just chop down a tree I mean I am a a lumberjack they're quite far away though I guess I could bring the the truck over here oh you can also do it from the truck truck oh that's cool what am I building at the moment I'm just building uh some walls for that uh garage door cut down tree this one that's cool nice I should have checked behind you have no visibility all right so I could just come back here with the uh with the van and load it up for I need some more gas oh I have to carry it even though I'm right here okay I guess I can carry it for like two seconds it's probably fine right how much did I need in total eight more seven all right oops okay nice probably close enough right I hope all right nice and secure right so I go carpentry wall log wall okay it's not letting me take them out of the van but if I just drop them on the ground here it should let me take right yeah oh what's up with this last bit here something in the way maybe this log is it the rags I don't think so yeah I don't know why I can't build that oh the rags might not be close enough no oh move the logs closer you guessing no you're not you're not guessing you got it it is the stuff's not uh close enough perfect okay we've done it oh man okay that that feels a lot better right the fact that we're probably a bit safer now use log walls all the way around the base it's going to take way too long 100 Nails in a box of nails Jesus Christ that's great that is wild for that has so many nails all right looking good we just want to make sure that uh we're all secure down here right well we can do some more work uh on this uh maybe tomorrow we're a bit hungry yeah so we're all closed up so we shouldn't need to worry too much about [Music] um getting uh snuck up on in the middle of the night now there's no there's no like easy way in to here right which is good oh my saw doesn't fit in here there's still the non-boarded windows with the sheets yeah I know I'm going to try to board up everything down there just uh just to keep us nice and uh and safe at the bottom right I think that can be just like a an ongoing thing that we can do that's great packaged corn great look at the hunger boredom and unhappy happiness modifier is very nice weighs a ton as well griddle pan nice all right we still got running water uh we need to make some uh some rainy uh rainy things as well right we can start disassembling some of the furniture and stuff up here get some planks and uh probably the uh there's loads of furniture I think uh in here too we'll have to grab some sheets for the windows for the Upper Floor and then when we get a sledgehammer and stuff we can have a a safe outdoor area on the roof right we might need to put some floor down though cuz I think you can occasionally fall through the uh the roof tiles I think that can happen what do we need to do to move this thing oh you can just move it when you're ready nice we finally managed to recover from all that exertion the roof tires are tiles are like any other tile yeah but isn't there like a like isn't there like a bit of a bug whereby sometimes um sometimes it uh sometimes they mess up oh do I need both bits oh is that like an old one check it out oh that's nice that is great okay we can start putting some uh food and stuff here as well right cuz we're going to probably run out of space in the cupboards you see I'm a fire fighter now it's true Randy I have become a firefighter I can disassemble these hospital beds for okay let's go board up that window downstairs too you might as well right there's some scrap wood in here I've only got four nails though I'll have to grab some nails from the um from the thing where's my nails where are my 100 Nails yes here they are love carrying a 100 Nails around with me at all times that's the best that's the best for me so can they see through this little Gap at the bottom or is it as long as I've got three on it's fine oh okay we're not ridiculously tired yet um we got some nails okay that's good too actually we'll we'll uh we'll keep that uh closed for now but at least they don't have an easy way in and then we want to uh also barricade that window and the front door too right okay let's go to sleep no more TV unfortunately you like all the improvements just don't go out and get bitten in the morning I'll try not to duckers nice I can't believe we're somewhat secure now somewhat I'm still we're not there yet but you know we're doing pretty good packaged corn packaged corn okay it's a TV yeah but the uh the the TV stations have stopped uh transmitting the shows the reruns we've run out of reruns at this point so I got to go find some uh VHS tapes to watch instead there's the uh I mean we can go to the bookstore and the apartments above the bookstore are quite good aren't they I mean folding chairs we can't disassemble we have a uh we have a Jenny's not on site right now we have to go pick it up it's not it's not far we do need to go to the gas station though I need some gas okay well we didn't get any planks from that I can saw our own planks though I mean we don't have to rely on disassembling furniture and stuff right solely there's one here oo there's some crayons here too nice I need a screwdriver for the door I don't know if you get planks from that though I mean we don't need any of this stuff here right let's take it all down ooh carpentry level up pretty good so that's carpentry three for us now pens and pencils just a bunch of crap in here anything in the desk [Music] do [Music] all right we're going to need a couple of a board and I'll nail it d the um Whatchamacallit it's from um Red Dead Red Dead Redemption you know that one there's the building song yeah from uh Red Dead Red Dead to that little indie game yeah red Red Dead Redemption 2 yeah the tree is made from uh from glass yeah we smashing it smashing her right up um I I definitely brought a saw with me right yeah I did saw logs just having a little scan around while I'm doing some sawing here we're killing ourselves doing this sawing okay I got six planks though and I'm holding 12 planks okay I got to drop these 12 planks that's ridiculous I'll come back out and get them in a sec right we have some uh we have some windows on the ground floor that need to be boarded up too right we got to board these bad boys up this is a really easy spot for them to break into so we got we got a sheet and Boards as well oh maybe I'm uh completely out of boards what do I need four boards gardo is going to have some back problems absolutely he is you're right 14 planks he's going to have he he might have some back problems later in life but for now he's going to have a very strong back one of the strongest backs there great this should give us uh a lot of uh warning right how many um more do we need for the front here how many planks uh for the front doors how many do we need for this that four as well okay so we need to take five this time oh it's raining if you a door you can't use it I don't want to um really use the front door though I just don't want them to break in down here you know oh cuz see look we got some Funtime Frankies turning up for nice we're just taking it easy we are just taking it really easy oh pass me a board and a nail and a hammer and I'll nail it we've been working so long and you like that steak fresh cook all this butter olive oil pepper might be out of salt actually a steak stir fry with olive oil nice all right got some more boarding to do got to board up that other uh what do you do with the scrap wood can you use it like to for a fire like a barbecue could you like fire up a barbecue is that a thing great place for a barbecue hey Bruce thanks so much you get to survey all of the uh uh all of the Dead corpses that you've been responsible for whilst you're just cooking up some fresh uh some fresh steaks we're not going to have um access to meat once the power shuts off right unless we're uh we're doing some trapping maybe we can use that field down there to just set up a bunch of traps all right so we still need some planks for um this room in here right we do we do we do we do the water's not been shut off still this is good let me just see exactly how many planks I need for this I did a couple I just need four for this last window okay I think there's one out here in the field we might just need to saw up some logs we just need to saw one log right it's three planks per log nice okay I got my planks I'll put them in the in the bag it's easier to carry them right can you barricade both sides of the windows and doors I don't know but uh I mean it's it's it's the kind of thing where like it doesn't need to uh it doesn't need to hold uh indefinitely you know what I mean it's it's it's just uh the the the sound of them chipping away at it is uh our CE to leave you know I don't I I I'm not going to be here even for them to to rip one board off I'll be out you know on some of these the glass will break first yeah and we'll hear that too right when you when you're using traps they must be 75 tiles away from where you are okay so we'll try to set our traps up like down and around here somewhere there's a big field here right it's probably the best place to put a bunch of traps just in an open field so then you have the uh the vision okay I think we're secure at the B the only thing that's not secure is that door um and then obviously the the garage door as well which you know they could break down the thing is if they break down the garage door or this door uh I have no way out so we might need to set up a uh an escape place right we might need to get some uh we might need to make a how many do I need to make a um a rope ladder thing and where does that come under survivalist General sheet rope one of is it just one rip sheet oh my God look at all the different uh clothes two regular sheets not ripped or any clothes it looks like do you guys like my barbecue just make some ropes out of undies okay I wanted to drop this Hammer off here actually in my toolbox Hammer there's no room for it I'll just put it on this table then instead nice okay good station and uh it would be good to fill up uh everything all the cans and the uh and the truck too probably have enough fuel to get up there there there's one south of me so what like down here somewhere all right I'll see if I can find that one then I don't want to go too far though because we don't want to run out of gas before I find it allegedly okay well let's go take a look there might to be ketchup every time for me at least anything parked back here nope wow no no there's no way all of these are empty right I guess they are yeah I checked the bookstore for the manual yeah oh [ __ ] there's no um there's no um police vehicles wowers hey there's a couple of vehicles back here but man there's a lot of zombies too all right well we got the generator at least I'll go see if I can just uh on foot quietly go out and uh try to um let's just put that there we're not going to turn it on there don't worry God I can't believe there's no gas the gas station is quite busy too we'll have to try to slowly work our way up towards there um just make a salad cheese ham ooh pepper you want to get some tomato paste on here too that's what I'm talking about yes chef absolutely okay good feeling good yeah ger Gerardo's had the helicopter event we just uh we just stayed inside for the whole thing we had uh we had a we had an advanced warning that it was happening which was pretty good oh there we might be able to siphon some fuel out of this uh fire truck right good try I don't have the uh key for it yeah there we go o it's full too there's lots in here look at this perfect that's great look at that yeah all the all the the Dead zombies are gone you're right where is this other gas station then not south of here did you say Southwest so I'd have to go down this road past the construction yard we can take a look for it maybe I love my base and I love my country I'm very very attached to not only my base but also uh my country as well oh [ __ ] there's some rude dudes out all right Chad listen I got to go it's late um it was a Saturday stream and the good news is Gerardo Hamlin is still alive and a bit safer than before we finished the helicopter event we're alive still we've done some scouting we're trying to get to a gas station if possible and we need the generator magazine as well so we're going to be doing a little bit more exploring I think um if we can get to a point where we can uh get a generator up and running and power this place that would be fantastic and we can continue with cooking and surviving and stuff and get some uh some rain barrels
