Geometry Dash 2.2 Features Nobody Knows

Geometry Dash 2.2 has many amazing features but some are way less known than others lately have been investigating to find these even including a secret game mode nobody knows about for years many players have struggled with one issue replays countless times have top players forgotten to record only to end up having to repeat a level with some being in the top 10 hardest levels now in 2.2 there's a new feature that allows you to play back your movement allowing for levels to be easily recorded imagine how many of these terrible situations could be avoided with this feature with the upcoming platformer mode there have been many idle animations introduced for the robot and spider while plague testing a level I noticed that the robot's hitbox isn't affected in its idle animation along for the robot to safely jump into death and survive but it's not as crazy as the next feature you see players are getting better at the game quicker and quicker and we've gone from insane being the hardest difficulty so difficulty called demon this was to solve the ever-growing problem of was getting way too hard but it only got worse and demons became incredibly diverse forcing robtop to add a new hardest named extreme demon among five other tiers but that still wasn't enough what can be being in a few hours was in the same difficulty as the hardest level in the world players have asked Robert fuel ever had a new difficulty and he said he would if needed meaning that it's possible we would get a new difficulty eventually however that's still not as obscure as this with the newly added customization screen Rob has made changing colors and icons way easier however you might notice that there's a missing game out here the jetpack game mode a new feature that I took the ship game loaded platform mode why would Rob specifically leave the icon out well if you click the ship while customizing the icon you can search between the ship and the Jet Pack which is a really nice touch let's go back in time though in 2019 Rob is hanging out on a Discord server and while people were asking him questions he claimed that he would add an entirely new game mode to platform mode if the reputation of the feature remained good this mode likely wouldn't be available in the normal version which is super interesting imagine the possibilities that the game mode could have looking at other games they have very interesting Mechanics for platformer mode and I feel like a new age of Geometry Dash is about to flourish
