In today's tutorial I'll be showing you
how to turn any photo into an oil painting, sketch, crayon drawing, comic art
and more in just a few clicks. Plus I'll be revealing a list of
my favourite prompts for you to use So let's begin by opening Adobe Photoshop Beta.
Now I've grabbed this free image off pexels.com if you have used the new generator
filter before one mistake you might be making is selecting your image and then
typing in the prompt bar, 'oil painting' which will end up with a result like this. So
instead I'm going to show you a way around this. With your image selected, go to channels, if this
isn't on your toolbar go up to window and select channels. Now what we want to do is create a
new channel by clicking this plus button here and we're going to double click our foreground
colour and next to B for brightness we're going to change this value to 30 percent. The higher
your value the more it will distort your image so 30 seems to be the sweet spot and hit OK. Now
go up to edit, select fill and make sure your content is set to foreground colour then hit OK
now hold command or control on Windows and click your new channel it's going to pop up with this
message here which you can just ignore and hit OK click directly on the RGB channel to turn the
visibility back on and now we are ready to add our prompt. So select the generative fill text
field and for my first prompt I'm going to write 'crayon drawing' and hit generate it's going
to give us three variations to choose from or we can create three more
by clicking generate again. You can also change or tweak your
prompt in the text field here. Repeat these steps again and play around with
different prompts to generate cool new styles, this is a list of my favourite prompts to try
where I've had the best results. I'd love to see what other prompts you've come up with so share
them in the comments below! Thanks for watching, if you want to be the first to hear about new and
